The job costing and tasks feature. There is much thought put into the software. Very friendly support staff. Cons They should clean up the UI for mobile phones. Manager Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Easy to use" August 29, 2016 4.0 For many years with a on line jobs system , I decided to go with and paid $10K for a major Brisbane based system. It just didn't do what the Director said it would do with a click of a switch. Looking around for another two years, This was my choice and it works for my 4 person on the road business very well. Pros Easy to use, Price effective, and suits people on the move. Cons I have got around most, Needs a next level up Tradify Plus that includes better stock control. With the follow up and double checking on my self as the client I feel valuable. Pros Easy to use. Out of all options, Tradify appealed the most and we decided to give it a go (free trial). Even though setting up the software (and using it) is pretty simple, whenever we had any issues, the support stuff have been really helpful. The interfaces are very user friendly and took me very little time to figure out most features. In the odd occasion where I didn't understand something, the online help staff were super helpful. I would consider the integration with Xero one of the best features: invoicing honestly takes me 5 minutes. They seem to be constantly tweaking all aspects for an even better user experience. Pros Easy to use and great to set up. Our Jobs are now all loaded into one easy system and can include notes and photos of the jobs, no more piles of paper all over my desk. However i feel there are too many small problems with tradify, from jobs disappearing to pages being completely blank until there refreshed, boys not getting messages. When i hover an arrow over the jobs to see the summary, the summary wont disappear until the page is refreshed sometimes Pros quick and to the point lets you see where the staff are at all times allows staff to upload dockets to that job. and purchase orders and timesheets Cons page is blank sometimes until refreshed, when jobs are copied and staff are tagged they do not get notifications Review Source AC Adam C. Director Consumer Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Would have been 5 stars .................But" August 6, 2017 4.0 If Tradify can add a quantity conversion factor to the purchase orders, so that our stock levels can show 100's of metres rather than 20 off 30metre coils of tube that would make it a 5 star product. Pros Easy to use, quick to learn, well it was for me. Great for getting work progressed and engineers right information straight their smartphones. Cons Purchase orders and units of quantity are a problem. It is ok if items are purchased in multiple quantities of 1, but if the supplier quantity is 1 unit of 30 metres there is no way to convert the quantity and unit price in the Tradify system. This leads to problems for quotations and billing. It almost renders the quotation part of the software redundant for us. Going over the financial/report side of Tradify, it is very basic. We would like to see it in a more detail. The update made a lot of the old issues go away, but still more customization in the notes section and in general would help us out a lot. Money comes in faster, Information on each job is there, Ideal for one or more staff. We use the phone app on the road and at night I check the information, do the invoicing. Took no time to change for my old on line job system. I have sub contractors that use a paper based system and they are always later with wrong information. Thinking about and online job system.
