There are quite a few items that are not up to the competition but now fees are being added like the competition.

Pros

The reservation capability and the listing building.

Cons

The new fees coming out, the accounting not being trust accounting, while this support person was fantastic - majority are not and the capabilities of the booking engine are way too limited, procedure for adding pictures is way more difficult than it has to be. Should be able to deactivate units and not have to delete them completely.

I would tell everyone who is considering Hostaway to run as far from them as they can. I tried cancelling multiple times, still getting charged. Weeks would go by without any answers from customer service.

Pros

Automated messaging was nice to have across all of the properties.

Cons

Their customer support is non-existent. They promise you the world and deliver nothing. VRBO integration is a nightmare and never got it right. AirBnb was OK. Booking.com integration was always a nightmare.

Pros

What I like best about Hostaway is our rep \[sensitive content hidden\].She's absolutely excellent. Please give her a raise.

Cons

Almost too many features it can be overwhelming. Too many bells and whistles. AI has excellent support but human support is too slow.

Pros

Cons

It is very involved. Not to the fault of Hostaway, however, it takes a bit of time to get up to speed on all the features.

Pros

I like that it streamlines all facets of the business and a really easy user interface. Just getting started, but no complaints!

Cons

I’m having trouble maximizing my dynamic pricing - I want to be more aggressive and add a percentage over what’s considered aggressive - but not sure how.

Overall experience has been great so far! I would definitely recommend Hostaway to others. Ernesto made the onboarding process simple for me, which was my biggest reservation of switching PMS tools with having more than 30 active properties. There were no hiccups in the process and he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns quickly. The support team is also amazing and responds within minutes around the clock.

Pros

The pros for me are the support team and response times to questions and issues and the simplicity of the tool and how easy it is to find things. I have used other software that was so complex that I would get lost easily but that isn't the case with Hostaway.

Cons

The only negative I can think of at the moment is that the dynamic pricing tool doesn't have as many features as third party solutions at this time. But it is new to Hostaway so I'm hopeful it will be improving soon.

Cons

Some features feel a bit outdated, and the mobile app could be more intuitive. Additionally, there were minor glitches during peak usage periods, but the whole team was quick to provide solutions.

Very happy with the introduction to Hostaway, will be a good tool to use in the future for managing multiple properties.

Pros

Its a good tool for property management and rentals, smart and easy to use. Many good features for both managers and property owners. I like the financial reports a lot.

Cons

The Booking Engine is limited what you can design yourself, also not so easy to implement on your own website with API. Its easy to get in the booking engine, but have to go to external website when you search.

Software is good it boosts the visibility of properties and make operations really easy.

Support system is slow, but once you understand how to use this software it very easy and effective.

Falta o envio automático da informação para o SEF e INE. É necessário usar um parceiro externo: Hostkit; como o formulário de check-in online é preenchido numa plataforma parceira, não conseguimos usar isso como trigger automático de envio das informações de acesso.

Very happy I switched to Hostaway. This will make managing my multiple Airbnbs much easier.

Pros

Tons of functionality and very easy to use. It has everything from automation for all the major booking channels, to easy customization and setup on your direct booking site. It also has upcharges and cross sells and the ability to host clients pages.

Cons

It takes a while to go through the onboarding but it's well worth it.

Our overall experience with Hostaway has been great. The platform is user-friendly, and the support team has been incredibly helpful... especially during the setup process, as we weren't very familiar with it. We're still learning and slowly adapting so far.

Pros

I liked how user-friendly and efficient the platform is for managing multiple properties, and the support team was very helpful in setting everything up and making the process easier.

Cons

We're still new and figuring things out, but so far, everything has been going smoothly. Whenever we have questions, we get great support from the team.

Onboarding was faster than I expected but the pace was ok. The best way to learn it is to just start using it. I came up with several questions and my onboarding person, \[sensitive content hidden\], was able to answer all of my questions. So far it is really helping our productivity.

Pros

Hostaway has been helpful in managing all aspects of the short term rentals. Love the ability to direct book, have a website, and use multiple platforms with the calendar syncing. It eliminated our need for an external and manually updated calendar. Financial reporting is very professional

Cons

Don't have much negative things to say about, though my experience is limited. I wish there was more functionality on the app.

I have a friend who is having calendar issues right now with some channels not allowing a guest to book; that is my only concern. Everything else is great and pretty user friendly.

So far product has been game changing for my business.

Pros

Customized onboarding support. \[sensitive content hidden\] my onboarding specialist new everything about the product and how to teach it from top to bottom. As he was really my only interaction with the company besides my sales rep, he really was 'hostaway' to me and did an incredible job setting me up for success with the software and also just helping to set the overall tone for hostaway as a company. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Cons

Haven't found a 'con' yet. Product is really top notch for managing multiple properties across multiple platforms.

Pros

Having to set formulas for everything. I also feel like I should be able to have access to dynamic pricing and smart locks for the price I pay.

It centralizes everything for short-term rental hosts, great integration with OTA channels. Very patient support

What i don't like is the setup complexity for smaller hosts. But still the value is very good and im satisfied

So far our experience has been mixed. We had a great experience with our on-boarder, \[sensitive content hidden\]. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We felt very well oriented to the platform after our meetings with him. However, we have run into some trouble over the fact that we cannot set up payment plans for guests.

Pros

We like that Hostaway provides our business with access to Google Vacation and other channels.

Cons

We dislike that we cannot process payment plans for guests or make special offers. The interface is clunky. We did not know that we would have to process taxes ourselves prior to signing up. Hostaway could easily manage taxes or at least make potential customers aware upfront.
