Excellent support, onboarding and strong features. Google Travel works well and payments look professional. However VRBO setup is slow and email design features need improvement.

While many platforms simply point you to their “intuitive” software and leave you to figure things out, offered something rare these days: real human support. \[sensitive content hidden\] not only walked me through the essentials but also highlighted features I never would have discovered on my own — and they’ve already proven incredibly useful. Her help made the entire onboarding process smooth, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable. I also like the fact that you can connectt Google Travel to your lisitngs effortless. Payment systems and guest portal all looks very professional. Overal a great software.

Cons

The onboarding process could definitely be faster. From the moment you express interest in the software to actually gaining access, the wait is quite long. Unlike many other platforms that provide instant access, requires you to move through several stages: an initial call with a sales representative, signing the paperwork, and then scheduling onboarding sessions. Because each step involves booking time with different teams, the full process took about two weeks. The VRBO integration also took far too long. Connecting my listings to Booking.com, Airbnb, and Google Travel was nearly instant, but VRBO requires Hostaway to handle the mapping internally. I was told the mapping was completed, only to later find out from VRBO that it wasn’t. This led to nearly four weeks of back‑and‑forth communication. A better solution would be to allow customers to perform the VRBO mapping themselves instead of relying on Hostaway to do it. Another drawback is the email design tools. They are very basic at the moment, especially compared to competitors who offer much more advanced and flexible templates. I do hope Hostaway improves this feature in the future.

The interface could use a little refreshing, it's clunky at times. But generally very comprehensive and impressive as an umbrella, all-inclusive service.

Pros

The customer service (\[sensitive content hidden\]) is the best! Always patient and educational. The issue I was having wasn't even a problem, it was a browser issue - nevertheless he was very patient in trouble shooting what I thought was a complete disaster. But he saved the day, like steering a ship out of a storm into a safe harbor. Making it all right again. Whew!

Cons

Though the customer service reps are excellent, it might be an idea to hire more - so that the wait times aren't as lengthy. Having said that, if you can invest the time, I've never had an issue that the reps couldn't handle. (Just need more of them!)

I love working with and their team. The simplicity of the platform, the value and the user interface made this my choice after reviewing several competitors. The integrations with other booking platforms makes this a "no brainer" for me. The absolute plus is being able to call their support line with a question. I always get a person who is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Any suggestions are taken and implemented. I just got off a call with \[sensitive content hidden\] who successfully walked me though about 5 different things on the site which will allow me to generate more income!

I really like everything about . We asked if there was a way to sort the properties by name, and BOOM, it was done. This is amazing

It would be very helpful if features such as the host cancellation policy could be displayed directly on the home screen, so there is no need to open the reservation details to access that information. Additionally, the integration process with third-party OTAs was quite challenging. It would be greatly beneficial if the system could provide a clear, step-by-step guide to assist users through the integration process. A smart, on-screen guide—such as prompts indicating which buttons to click and where to enter specific codes, similar to a simulated walkthrough—would make the experience much more user-friendly. This would ultimately help users gain better access and increase their opportunities for securing more reservations.

My experience with was an excellent experience. I started at another platform that was a horrible experience. I was so overwhelmed and thought maybe I should not be doing short term rentals. Hostaway saved me from a lot of stress!!! I highly recommend this company and I look forward to purchasing another short term rental. I am confident that Hostaway will help me every step of the way.

was my savior. I am new to the short term rental platforms and needed guidance. I started with another platform and it was a nightmare. I was beside myself and was not prepared for my new bookings. Hostaway set me up with several onboarding calls and made sure everything was ready to go from taxes and financials, to automated messages and more.

Cons

Generally good, and calling Host Services is great, someone actually answers and helps! provides the services we need in one place. Tutorials are pretty good so I can usually fix or learn things on my own.

Pros

Company continues to update and make improvements with user interface and integrations. App continues to improve as well

Cons

Oddly there are some restrictions with permissions, even with highest level access. Example: we set up a new listing as pet friendly, then after publishing the property owner didn't want to allow pets. We removed all the pet settings, but the "pets allowed" kept pulling into the booking engine. Also don't like that automated message templates do not allow you to edit the Event trigger. The message has to be created in a new template. Would love to have a Host Service agent assigned to our account like we had in the past. When we put in a help ticket, our case gets bounced around to someone new every few hours. We likely the dedicated service agent but perhaps we don't have one since our account is less than 30 properties? When setting up new listings, allows for a lot of information to be included. It's a lot of work and worth it except that much of the data we input doesn't sync to the OTA's. It's twice the work and a lot of extra time when we still have to manually enter the information directly into our other accounts.

Love once you get used to the program. There is a lot of great features. The customer support is top notch.

Pros

customer service is the main reason I use this PMS software. Their customer service agents are all very knowledgable about the software, excellent communicators, and very professional.

Cons

Some integration issues still exist, but workarounds are typically provided. VRBO payment setup is not awesome and the House rules connectivity issue is an unfortunate issue to look into. International charges for subscriptions should also be communicated up front with customers.

Mostly terrible. I was sold on their 24/7 phone support, but no one picks up the phone or calls back when you try to use that option. My support ticket has been "escalated" for almost 3 days, and there is still no resolution, and only limited responses that mostly consist of "we're working on it". Due to the lack of price syncing, a reservation was made during my busiest week for almost $400 less than the pricing set on .

Pros

My onboarding specialist was very nice and knowledgeable, but since then support has been a disaster.

Cons

I have had huge issues with syncing pricing across platforms. I pay extra for the dynamic pricing ad on, and even though the calendar in shows prices correctly, they are incorrect in Airbnb, and for some dates, they show my pricing lower than my minimum pricing.

Mi experiencia general con ha sido muy buena. Es una plataforma estable, práctica y muy útil para la gestión de alojamientos turísticos. Me ha ayudado a organizar mejor las operaciones diarias, automatizar tareas y mejorar la eficiencia en el trabajo. Además, el sistema es fácil de aprender y el soporte siempre ha respondido de manera profesional y rápida. Gran parte de esta experiencia positiva también se debe a la excelente formación recibida, que ha marcado una gran diferencia desde el inicio.

Pros

Lo que más me ha gustado de es la sencillez de uso y lo intuitiva que resulta la plataforma desde el primer momento. Facilita muchísimo la gestión diaria de los alojamientos, ahorra tiempo y permite tener todo organizado en un solo lugar. Además, la automatización y la integración con diferentes canales hacen que el trabajo sea mucho más cómodo y profesional. También quiero destacar la magnífica labor de la persona que me ha instruido en el uso de la plataforma, ya que gracias a su profesionalidad, paciencia y capacidad para explicar cada detalle, el proceso de aprendizaje ha sido rápido, claro y muy agradable.

Cons

Aunque mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva en general, me gustaría que fuese un poco más sencillo generar ciertos listados de reservas en formato Excel. Aun así, la plataforma ofrece muchas herramientas útiles y continuamente incorpora mejoras que ayudan a optimizar la gestión y el seguimiento de las reservas.

Our overall experience with has been very positive. The platform allows us to manage multiple properties efficiently, automate workflows, and provide professional owner accounting. Compared to simpler PMS solutions, Hostaway is significantly more powerful and well suited for professional operators. We see Hostaway as a long-term partner for scaling our business.

Pros

provides a highly professional and well-structured system for managing vacation rentals. What impressed me most: Strong multi-unit functionality Powerful automation (messages, tasks, payments) Clear financial reporting for owner statements Reliable channel manager integrations (Airbnb, Booking, etc.) Scalable solution for growing portfolios Customer support is responsive and knowledgeable. Questions are explained clearly and solutions are provided efficiently.

Cons

Some features can feel complex at the beginning and require onboarding time. The system offers many settings, which may feel overwhelming initially. However, once set up properly, the platform runs very smoothly.

My overall experience has been one of enlightenment, encouragement and profound insight. This is the best investment in my company and my personal time.

Pros

The representative is very knowledgeable of the product and has help me understand the value of this property management software and the time savings. The ease of use is priceless and the booking management integration is flawless. The payment is affordable and the are little to no bugs to confront which is always a welcome relief. It is truly the best reservation management system I know.

Cons

I love , I do not have a thing that I do not like about the software. It’s intuitive and it has great support.

Hugely positive. I would recommend it to anyone looking to rental short term accomdations. The onboarding and continued customer support is great.

Pros

It is a great platform for managing my short-term rental business. It is amazing what I can do as one person managing so many rentals. I couldn't be without it. Customer support is amazing as well.

Cons

Nothing negative. Everything has been positive thus far. If I had to say anything negative, it would be their integration with VRBO, but this is more on the VRBO side than .

Overall, the experience has been amazing from day one when I was contacted by an outreach person via phonemail (I forget her name, but she's out of Boston, USA). Then, working with \[sensitive content hidden\], from sales, was a breeze, and in just two meetings, I signed-up and met with \[sensitive content hidden\], from onboarding, who has been absolutely amazing.

Pros

The customer service was absolutely of the highest quality. Specifically, my onboarding agent, \[sensitive content hidden\], she is AMAZING!

Cons

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about at this time. I am brand new to this system, and after having used other systems in the past, this one seems to be the best for our needs!

Mon expérience avec est très positive. La plateforme facilite énormément la gestion quotidienne des réservations, de la communication avec les voyageurs et de l’automatisation des tâches. est une excellente plateforme pour gérer des locations saisonnières de manière simple et efficace. L’interface est intuitive, les automatisations permettent un vrai gain de temps et la synchronisation avec les différentes plateformes fonctionne très bien. Le support client est également très réactif et professionnel. Un grand merci à Sou pour son aide, sa patience et son professionnalisme tout au long de l’assistance.

Cons

Honnêtement, tout s’est très bien passé jusqu’à présent. Je suis satisfait de l’expérience globale avec la plateforme et je n’ai pas rencontré de problème majeur.
