The overall experience has been good, but I’d like to share some feedback about the onboarding process. I think it would be much clearer and more effective if the onboarding were done over a couple of full days, with everything covered together under guidance. Right now, having short sessions spread out over time made it harder to follow the flow, some things were unclear, and we weren’t always sure if we were doing everything correctly. A more structured, continuous onboarding would help new team members feel more confident and better prepared, and it would also speed up the overall process, allowing potential issues to surface and be resolved more quickly. But he sessions we did were clear and helpful, just a bit too short.

Pros

I really enjoyed being part of a dynamic company that’s constantly evolving and focused on innovation. The platform is strong and impactful, and it's a real difference for its users. And it has Finnish roots!

Cons

Some internal systems and structures are still catching up, which occasionally is making the coordination a bit challenging.

Overall the experience has been a 10/10. I would highly recommend Hostaway to other property owners.

Pros

The onboarding experience was a amazing. From start to finish it was very thorough and I appreciated the attention to detail.

Cons

The platform UI is a bit dated and the mobile app has somewhat limited functionality. This would be my only "complaint" and it is minor.

Hostaway has truly become a key part of our property management operations.

Pros

What I like most about Hostaway is how organized and efficient the platform is for managing multiple short-term rentals. It simplifies every part of the process — from messaging and reservations to pricing and automation. Ha la capacità di farti sentire subito a tuo agio con la piattaforma. Inoltre, trovo utilissimo poter rivedere la registrazione dell'intera call: è un dettaglio che rende l'apprendimento ancora più produttivo ed efficace.

Ottima interfaccia e un onboarding che fa davvero la differenza nell'apprendimento. La piattaforma è completa e le integrazioni con software di terze parti sono un grandissimo valore aggiunto per la gestione dell'attività.

Great! Quick and easy, my issue was solved. We were experiencing a recaptcha issue for whatever reason, and \[sensitive content hidden\] took me through the steps to troubleshoot. We got the issue resolved in about 10 minutes and the hold time to jump on the call was only a minute or two. Thanks Hostaway!

The wait time to get someone on the phone for help. I called twice and waited over 45 minutes so I hung up. I had to get this done but luckily someone answered after 15 minute wait today

### "Avoid Hostaway — Unprofessional and Pushy Sales Tactics"

At first, Hostaway seemed promising. The sales rep, \[sensitive content hidden\] , was very responsive and friendly during the sales process. We paid the onboarding fee but quickly realized within three business days that the platform wasn’t a fit for our needs. When I explained that we had found a local company that offered a more tailored solution without the extra costs, \[sensitive content hidden\] responded by speaking negatively about that company. Ironically, when I asked the other provider about Hostaway, they only had respectful things to say. That contrast spoke volumes. After requesting to cancel, I received a string of increasingly pushy emails from \[sensitive content hidden\] , repeatedly trying to convince us to stay with additional discounts. Despite declining multiple times, the pressure continued. The worst part was when \[sensitive content hidden\] crossed a serious line: he privately messaged my mother, spamming her with emotional appeals and attempting to guilt-trip us into signing up. This behavior was unprofessional, manipulative, and completely unacceptable. Overall, this experience showed me how poorly run Hostaway is behind the friendly sales pitch. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

It's amazing, I am very happy that I chose this PMS. My business is growing quickly, and Hostaway is a big part of it.

Pros

Customer Service and 24/7 phone support. Y3n is my favorite customer service rep. He took time to talk to me when I needed help on the support line, and then since I still needed help, he set up a meeting with me and helped me with several issues over the course of 30 minutes. He went above and beyond and is very patient. He's the BEST, he deserves a raise! Thank you Y3n?

Cons

It was a learning curve to get everything set up, but that's normal when using a new system! I had plenty of support along the way. Thank you!

Pros

Great tool to integrate all calendars and aspects of managing properties. Nice to have a single tool for booking across multiple channels and easy to navigate the user interface.

Cons

Still behind on some features/functions. Should be able to permanently set Seasonal Rates without having to manually block calendars and adjust pricing from there.

Overall its a good platform however the integration move from just Air B&B to Hostaway and the other platforms is not easy or quick. I can see that eventually its going to be fine but its taken me hours upon hours..and the person doing my onboarding was not easy to work with. For me.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] took my call today. I had a great experience. She followed along, understood the issue, helped me resolve it and has a sense of humor. Excellent!

Cons

1-If the agents are busy and you leave a call back number I have not gotten ever a call back. 2-the layout of the portal is difficult with letters so small...very primitive and not a great UI. 3-the booking machine UI is horrible.

Meine Erfahrungen mit Hostaway waren durchweg positiv. Die Plattform ist zuverlässig, benutzerfreundlich und bietet alle Funktionen, die man für eine effiziente Verwaltung der Unterkünfte braucht. Der Kundenservice ist schnell, freundlich und lösungsorientiert. Updates bringen echte Verbesserungen. Ich habe mich stets gut betreut gefühlt und kann Hostaway uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Pros

sehr schnelle Abwicklung und gute Kommunikation. Die Gespräche waren auf Augenhöhe und die die Einführung dehr persönlich.

Cons

Alles war gut. Ehrlich gesagt gab es nichts, was mir an Hostaway nicht gefallen hat. Ich war immer rundum zufrieden – sowohl mit dem Support als auch mit der Bedienung und Zuverlässigkeit des Systems. Alle Funktionen liefen stabil, Updates wurden sinnvoll umgesetzt, und der Kundenservice war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolute Empfehlung!
