Meine Erfahrungen mit Hostaway waren durchweg positiv. Die Plattform ist zuverlässig, benutzerfreundlich und bietet alle Funktionen, die man für eine effiziente Verwaltung der Unterkünfte braucht. Der Kundenservice ist schnell, freundlich und lösungsorientiert. Updates bringen echte Verbesserungen. Ich habe mich stets gut betreut gefühlt und kann Hostaway uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Pros

sehr schnelle Abwicklung und gute Kommunikation. Die Gespräche waren auf Augenhöhe und die die Einführung dehr persönlich.

Cons

Alles war gut. Ehrlich gesagt gab es nichts, was mir an Hostaway nicht gefallen hat. Ich war immer rundum zufrieden – sowohl mit dem Support als auch mit der Bedienung und Zuverlässigkeit des Systems. Alle Funktionen liefen stabil, Updates wurden sinnvoll umgesetzt, und der Kundenservice war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolute Empfehlung!

Pros

Great tool to integrate all calendars and aspects of managing properties. Nice to have a single tool for booking across multiple channels and easy to navigate the user interface.

Cons

Still behind on some features/functions. Should be able to permanently set Seasonal Rates without having to manually block calendars and adjust pricing from there.

The customer service is 5 star! amazing communication, walk me through all the steps and what I needed to handle everything I needed.

It has been good so far. Mainly, I am glad to have continued IT support because I need to link another property next spring and I do not believe I would have the tech capacity without \[sensitive content hidden\] help, but he said support is ongoing which is amazing. He was also super creative and able to help me with logo ideas, color schemes, and ideas to help get more bookings. I have an MBA and I am a broker and I still learned so many useful tips from him.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] did an amazing job. There were less expensive options but I am glad i went with this company because I was told the support was superior. I am not great with online capabilities, and he made the entire process very easy.

Cons

I really did not have any issues. If at anytime I had frustrations, \[sensitive content hidden\] was so good at explaining and and helping me navigate things I really do not have any complaints.

Great onboarding and help with some integration issue which were resolved successfully. The onboarding process was incredibly smooth— their team guided us step-by-step, from channel integration to customizing settings and reporting.

Pros

Well integrated and easy to use and great support. Switching to Hostaway's Property Management System was a game-changer for my vacation rental business!The intuitive interface and responsive support made setup feel effortless, and I've already seen a boost in efficiency. Highly recommend for anyone scaling their short-term rentals! 5/5 stars.

Cons

The thing I liked least was some quirks in channel integrations—particularly with Hopper where there is no direct API integration.

Although I faced some issues with a few of my landlords and had to begin with fewer listings than planned in my contract, Hostaway handled my refund request quickly and without any issues after three months. There’s always someone available to assist me or answer my questions to help improve my business. Thank you, Hostaway and \[sensitive content hidden\]

The easy to use interface keeps everything under control. The onboarding process made me feel confident in managing the software, and my onboarding specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\], was knowledgeable, clear, and experienced, he truly helped broaden my perspective. I highly recommend both the Hostaway product and the support the team provides.

So far, I have nothing negative to say. I’m very satisfied with both the product and the service I’ve received.

Really great. so far i've been spending less and less time loggin into each channel to manage bookings and that's really a testament to the productivity/usefulness of Hostaway.

Pros

Has everything under one hood. it's super feature rich and - albeit intimidating at first - actually very easy and efficient once you get to know your way around.

Cons

The only downside i would say was the timing/availability for onboarding calls in general. I would also like to see a chat options for technical questions or guidance (although i can imagine it can be quite burdensome). The website designer could use major upgrades - ideally with many more options and even a option to book a designer to help customize it for non-web designer people. Widget preview window. IF possible, allow live preview when modifying the code.

De momento todo genial, intuitivo comodo y sobre todo la ayuda en el Onboarding que estamos haciendo, configurando todo.

Pros

Su funcionalidad en todos los aspectos de un PMS, la configuración de las propiedades, las automatizaciones,.... Mi Onboarding lo está haciendo Deborah y estoy muy satisfecho con su implicación y formación de todo.

Cons

De momento el unico problema que le estoy encontrando que no tiene un modulo de facturación directa al propietario.

We lost a year of trial and error with trying to make this platform work. I hated the fact that my photo would never show up on mobile when I responded to guests. Simple things that they have lots of bugs.

Pros

I do not really have anything positive to say about Hostaway- \[sensitive content hidden\] our CSM was great. I would not be able reccomend them. ZERO stars

Cons

PROCEED WITH CAUTION-We just cancelled our hostaway account after 11 months. The Quickbooks integration never worked. We had to pay our Accountant extra time to unravel the Hostaway added fees. We were sold that it was free, but ended up having to buy that too, and it never worked. Our bank debit card would not accept Finland- over seas transactions. Hostaway took months to get our billing corrected. We had to open a special credit card just to get them paid. They switched CSM reps on us 3 times. Big hassle. Not worth the effort.

The financial reporting is superior! \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to point out some suances about the automated messages that I did not know about. It was terrific and valuable!

Cons

Sometimes its clunky integrating with partner portals. It is taking time to learn the hoops with the automated messages.

I like Hostaway so far, very much. When you initially sign up for service, just make sure you understand that you are signing a contract and you may or may not get $ back if you don't like the dynamic pricing. But you can pay the $10 per month per listing and decide whether you like it and override, if you don't

Pros

Excellent customer service. I am new to Hostaway and am learning the system. Hostaway is dedicated to making sure I, the customer, are happy. The system works well. There have been no glitches in the past few months.

Cons

I signed up for remote locks on one property but then the 'Yale Nest' lock was not on their list of approved devices for automated codes sent to the guest. Also, I didn't like the dynamic pricing. I may need to review that again, but I was charged for it when I didn't use it on five properties. After several calls, someone finally got back to me and said they would refund me. I don't think it has happened yet. I need to check.

Very satisfied with Hostaway support — they respond quickly, answer clearly, and resolve issues well!

Pros

If I can give 20 stars I would like to do that. You don't know how much care, support, patience and gratefulness I felt for Hostaway and Aki. I was frantic because guests showed on my property and wanted access. Upon inquiry, they made an honest mistake of booking Nov 3 2026 instead of 2025. With Aki's help, the guests are happy, settled and the problem was sorted out and solved in just a few minutes.

Cons

Other hosts are convincing me to switch to another channel management system but no!!! I will be loyal to my Hostaway family

Avis très mitigé sur Hostaway (ET qui plus est sur le marché francais) quelques exemples des abérations du logiciel a savoir avant de s'engager : - Impossible de mettre en place un plan tarifaire sur booking pour proposer le petit déjeuner - La fonctionnalité des paiements en 2 fois pour les résas en direct, avec un premier accompte a la reservation et un 2ème paiement plus tard ne fonctionne pas. - Impossible de mettre un prix par nuit et par animal sur airbnb il faut forcément mettre un prix par reservation - Si vous êtes complets sur une période et que vous souhaitez optimiser le remplissage en bougeant des réservations d'un logement a un autre cela est impossible, il faut créer un faux logement vide pour permettre de les bouger (et je dois payer en plus pour ca, car impossible de ne pas me facturer !!!) - Impossible de se connecter a VRBO à part si compte UK mais impossible d'avoir un compte UK si vous avez déjà un compte Abritel - Service client incompétent et qui ne veut pas aider, ils prennent littéralement les clients pour des idiots avec des réponses pré faites. - Impossible de gérer la taxe de séjour si nous ne sommes pas sur un % fixe uniquement comme c'est le cas dans beaucoup de ville en France Bref, nous restons mais je ne sais pas combien de temps, comme tous les channels manager ils connaissent la galère de changer de plateforme. Mais ils ne chercheront JAMAIS a vous aider

I really like Hostaway's all-in-one approach to vacation rental management, especially its robust channel manager. Cons

I honestly do not have a 'least like' aspect of Hostaway right now. The system has been a reliable all-in-one solution for our scaling operations. The channel manager is rock solid, and the automation features are saving my team significant time, which is our top priority. The support during setup was excellent, and the platform's stability is what we value most.
