So far our experience has been excellent. Their support staff has been very helpful and patient with us as we learn the software and had an answer for any question we have.

Pros

It is very user friendly, self explanatory and functional across several platforms

Cons

The only con I have found so far is that there really isn't an easy way to let our homeowners access their owner portals. The app is extremely basic and could use the ability to access more functions from it as well.

Great overall experience, the selling process was very smooth and onboarding was fast. I wish we could have started sooner with the onboarding but that is fine

Pros

I liked how easy the set up is and how many pre-configured features help you save time setting up things like automated messages and guest reviews

Cons

Nothing comes up to my mind right now, but maybe a the inbox works a little bit slow and take a lot of time to load up the messages sometimes.

Not really about , but it is hard to set up finantial reporting and other features when working on different currencies.

So far so good! We are still in the process of building out the backend and transitioning from our old channel mgmt tool. We've had 3 onboarding/training sessions with \[sensitive content hidden\] and he has been FANTASTIC. He's patient and helpful and has had really useful tips for us. His customer service is top notch!

Pros

The dashboard is very intuitive. We're transitioning from a different tool and finding to be really user friendly. Also, the onboarding sessions have been extremely helpful.

Cons

I have not yet found anything that I don't like.

The one time I was able to speak to our rep he was short and condescending. He was argumentative and flat-out rude.

Pros

Ease of use and ability to block bookings from VRBO as well as Air BnB

Cons

Although it now blocks on the calendar it still does not pull payment breakdown from VRBO. The formula we use has had to be adjusted monthly since it doesn't seem to save. I am doing double the work to figure out owner payout and manager payouts.

I like most when I get support from people like \[sensitive content hidden\]. When they take the time to explain how to do something or fix problems.

Cons

Time frame to get answers to questions and no answer when I call.

Because you were the only company that allowed me to put houses I managed on the your software as I set up some houses under my accounts and I made some homeowners accounts under their name but I managed them.

Excellent onboarding ! So happy to be able to use a PMS without having to work on 'instant bookings' !!!

Pros

Excellent onboarding and customer support ! The greatest feature of all is that it works with booking upon requests !!! Which means we don't have to accept instant bookings ! It is probably one of the few softwares which allows this and at a very reasonable price !

Cons

The onboarding is fantastic so far but we have used it for less than 4 months so cannot say yet. I hope the customer support remains as efficient and reactive after the onboarding as when we request help via the email support line it takes a few days to get an answer, and in that meantime you can be sure the traveler have gone somewhere else.

Reason for choosing Hostaway

I chose as they were the most flexible ones in terms of pricing and also the only ones that worked with Airbnb and VRBO with bookings on request ! (and not instant bookings !)

I love the onboarding process which help me hit the road faster. You can have the best software out there but it's no use if people don't understand how to utilize it. The rep working with me step by step to set things up properly. This is good.

Ability to do different things and fully in control of daily tasks through automation and templates

I'm still learning to utilize everything it offers!

its been a learning curve, but now that I have some things figured out operating is feeling less stressful.

Pros

I love using . It makes the day to to day very easy in one place. I cant say I love everything about the software, however, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has made the process easier. Every single time I get stuck on the software and I don't know how to fix an issue, a short call with her has made me stay with the Hostaway. I hope Hostaway appreciates her as much as I do. She is incredibly patient and knowledgeable.

Cons

My least favorite thing about is the mapping and tickets for support. It sees they get lost in transition.

is much better than other softwares we have used in the past. We have not had a single double booking and greatly enjoy all the features they offer.

Cons

Something that can be improved are the features available on the app. recently sent a survey asking for feedback on the mobile app and are working on implementing them.

Based on your feedback, we looked at our stats and found out the median response times had gotten longer. As a result of it, we immediately increased the size of our support team by 200%. Overall delivered what they said they would deliver. You get what it says on the tin. We are impressed with the service.

Pros

The most important features to us are the automation services as this saves time but also gives us the satisfaction that our customers are receiving regular contact regarding their bookings.

Cons

We were happy with the process from speaking to the initial person who introduced us to the package followed by the onboarding person.
