Although I faced some issues with a few of my landlords and had to begin with fewer listings than planned in my contract, Hostaway handled my refund request quickly and without any issues after three months. There’s always someone available to assist me or answer my questions to help improve my business. Thank you, Hostaway and \[sensitive content hidden\]

Pros

The easy to use interface keeps everything under control. The onboarding process made me feel confident in managing the software, and my onboarding specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\], was knowledgeable, clear, and experienced, he truly helped broaden my perspective. I highly recommend both the Hostaway product and the support the team provides.

Cons

So far, I have nothing negative to say. I’m very satisfied with both the product and the service I’ve received.

Pros

The financial reporting is superior! \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to point out some suances about the automated messages that I did not know about. It was terrific and valuable!

Cons

Sometimes its clunky integrating with partner portals. It is taking time to learn the hoops with the automated messages.

Great onboarding and help with some integration issue which were resolved successfully. The onboarding process was incredibly smooth— their team guided us step-by-step, from channel integration to customizing settings and reporting.

Pros

Well integrated and easy to use and great support. Switching to Hostaway's Property Management System was a game-changer for my vacation rental business!The intuitive interface and responsive support made setup feel effortless, and I've already seen a boost in efficiency. Highly recommend for anyone scaling their short-term rentals! 5/5 stars.

Cons

The thing I liked least was some quirks in channel integrations—particularly with Hopper where there is no direct API integration.

It has been good so far. Mainly, I am glad to have continued IT support because I need to link another property next spring and I do not believe I would have the tech capacity without \[sensitive content hidden\] help, but he said support is ongoing which is amazing. He was also super creative and able to help me with logo ideas, color schemes, and ideas to help get more bookings. I have an MBA and I am a broker and I still learned so many useful tips from him.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] did an amazing job. There were less expensive options but I am glad i went with this company because I was told the support was superior. I am not great with online capabilities, and he made the entire process very easy.

Cons

I really did not have any issues. If at anytime I had frustrations, \[sensitive content hidden\] was so good at explaining and and helping me navigate things I really do not have any complaints.

Be warned, this is not the all singing and dancing software you would expect from the sales pitch. Several untruths in the sales process, extremely poor onboarding led to ongoing issues. I would never go down this route again if we went back in time.

Pros

Multi calendar is quite good and the airbnb connection.

Cons

\- onboarding was terrible and led to several double bookings with zero support to solve. Extremely poor. - onboarding of booking.com extremely poor. - customer service levels are very bad. Agents frequently don't understand their own software. - No response when querying a major billing increase with no warning. - Account managers leave regularly and no replacement given. - Several new features launched but existing ones don't function well. - Told that Hostaway incorporate new features into existing price by sales Rep Cory, 12 months in and they have released several features which are all at an additional expense.

Fives stars for \[sensitive content hidden\] and also \[sensitive content hidden\] did great also. I am really enjoying the software and I already have bookings from new channels which I would not have without Hostaway.

Pros

Knowledgeable and friendly onboarding staff. Excellent features, mainly intuitive (though I did catch some things to increase efficiency for users), automations for letters and cleaning tasks are super helpful.

Cons

Nothing really. As mentioned I found some things for my onboarders to pass on to programmers and developers that will help improve your product for users.

From what I read. Guesty's customer service was not as good. My onboarding experience was five stars and my customer service experience has been fantastic with hostaway. \[sensitive content hidden\] were both amazing. I hope Hostaway keeps this up and continues to invest in their staff that make people like me feel supported. I dread the day Hostaway sells out to a larger corporation and they cut back on the people support and replace them with chat bots.

I love that all the platforms that we use is synced in this platform. Very convenient, it's also easy to use.

Cons

When there's a glitch in the system and everything else is affected. Of course our work is affected.

Really great. so far i've been spending less and less time loggin into each channel to manage bookings and that's really a testament to the productivity/usefulness of Hostaway.

Pros

Has everything under one hood. it's super feature rich and - albeit intimidating at first - actually very easy and efficient once you get to know your way around.

Cons

The only downside i would say was the timing/availability for onboarding calls in general. I would also like to see a chat options for technical questions or guidance (although i can imagine it can be quite burdensome). The website designer could use major upgrades - ideally with many more options and even a option to book a designer to help customize it for non-web designer people. Widget preview window. IF possible, allow live preview when modifying the code.

We lost a year of trial and error with trying to make this platform work. I hated the fact that my photo would never show up on mobile when I responded to guests. Simple things that they have lots of bugs.

Pros

I do not really have anything positive to say about Hostaway- \[sensitive content hidden\] our CSM was great. I would not be able reccomend them. ZERO stars

Cons

PROCEED WITH CAUTION-We just cancelled our hostaway account after 11 months. The Quickbooks integration never worked. We had to pay our Accountant extra time to unravel the Hostaway added fees. We were sold that it was free, but ended up having to buy that too, and it never worked. Our bank debit card would not accept Finland- over seas transactions. Hostaway took months to get our billing corrected. We had to open a special credit card just to get them paid. They switched CSM reps on us 3 times. Big hassle. Not worth the effort.

This feature effectively eliminates the anxiety of double-bookings and ensures maximum visibility across all sales channels, which is absolutely critical for scaling a property management business. The added benefit of powerful automation for guest messaging and tasks further streamlines daily operations.

Cons

I honestly do not have a 'least like' aspect of Hostaway right now. The system has been a reliable all-in-one solution for our scaling operations. The channel manager is rock solid, and the automation features are saving my team significant time, which is our top priority. The support during setup was excellent, and the platform's stability is what we value most.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] was wonderful to work with! He was patient and kind and helped us update the reservation of our guest.

Cons

The wait time was extremely long. I had to call 4 times and had to wait over 1.5 hours on the phone before I was able to speak with an agent.

They took the time to properly understand my issue and went above and beyond to make sure everything was fully resolved. It’s rare to come across service this efficient and genuinely caring — I really appreciate the effort and professionalism shown throughout the whole interaction.”

Cons

Some areas of the platform have a learning curve, and it can be a bit tricky to locate certain settings without assistance. Improving the navigation and clarity of a few workflows would really enhance the overall experience

Pros

Su funcionalidad en todos los aspectos de un PMS, la configuración de las propiedades, las automatizaciones,.... Mi Onboarding lo está haciendo Deborah y estoy muy satisfecho con su implicación y formación de todo.

Cons

De momento el unico problema que le estoy encontrando que no tiene un modulo de facturación directa al propietario.

Ease of use, cost, recurring minor updates and Q&A sessions with senior team at hostaway. Overall good PMS.

Cons

UI was abit outdated, No trust accounting, slow with major updates, support take along time to get back to you and constant price increases.

I could not be any more pleased with my experience. I have increased bookings. I now have a REAL website for booking direct. My listings are much more professional and I do not loose sleep over double bookings!

Pros

Immediately saw increased results for bookings. It paid for itself in 3 days. This platform has everything I have wanted and more for my vacation rental!

Cons

Its complex and a little intimidating but \[sensitive content hidden\] , my customer service person has been extraordinarily helpful! He walks me through every step. I have had to go back and re-do a couple of things and he is so patient!!

Very satisfied with Hostaway support — they respond quickly, answer clearly, and resolve issues well!

Pros

If I can give 20 stars I would like to do that. You don't know how much care, support, patience and gratefulness I felt for Hostaway and Aki. I was frantic because guests showed on my property and wanted access. Upon inquiry, they made an honest mistake of booking Nov 3 2026 instead of 2025. With Aki's help, the guests are happy, settled and the problem was sorted out and solved in just a few minutes.

Cons

Other hosts are convincing me to switch to another channel management system but no!!! I will be loyal to my Hostaway family

Pros

Onboarding support is comprehensive and tailored specifically to our needs. This has allowed us to seamlessy enhance our accomodations offerings.

There was a lack of ability to trouble shoot in the moment when we were experiencing a problem with a booking enquiring received through AirBnb.
