I was once again impressed with the amount of knowledge and assistance given by the agent. The system is easy to navigate so they agent was able to tell me easily how to fix what I needed to to achieve the result I wanted. Very happy.

Pros

Great customer support, the system is easy to use and the agents know what they are talking about. The agent even went further to help me and advise me on additional point I didn't even realise I had to correct.

Cons

I can truly say that I can't list anything that I am not happy with when it comes to HostAway, their customer service or the functionality.

Pros

John Bassey was extremely patient and helpful, guiding me through every step to figure out what was wrong. He took the time to explain things clearly and made sure the issue was fully resolved. I truly appreciated his professionalism and support.

Cons

The AI system asks for quite a lot of information before connecting me to a live agent, which can take some extra time.

Pros

Integration opportunities with multiple platforms. Also single calendar view with syncing so I don't end up double booked.

Cons

Least liked that there are not more task templates available. Also wish there was an easier way to import expenses.

The onboarding process was quite smooth. I received many tips and good explanation by \[sensitive content hidden\]. She was very supportive. The tool is quite easy to use, although AI still needs to be trained a bit.

Pros

Onboarding went very well, user interface and tool itself is quite easy to use, happy to have all bookings in 1 platform

Cons

Would like to be able to use more languages, such as French, German, etc. AI is sometimes sending messages in 2 languages.

Hostaway has made my life easier with my 3 Condos and having \[sensitive content hidden\] to help me with any issues I have, has been Great! He is Great. Pleasant, willing to help and resolves the issue.

Cons

Sometimes confuse about the Channels,, especially with booking.com. I feels sometime things are not synchroniizing correctly for me

We are new to hostaway, however so far it seems like an incredibly helpful tool in streamlining our processes. Its very extensive so we are still learning

Cons

Its so detailed its quite complex. The process isnt very stratightforwards for our contractors in terms of getting alerts and notifications- not very user friendly so we are having issues with this

Cons

Some owner configuration and guest configurations from messaging standpoints could be better. More automation and more customization and photos to be allowed in messages.

The ease of setting up and how smart the back-end system is, it automatically grabs all the needed info from the portals, Fatih was and still the best ! big shout out to him for his joyful and informative sessions

Pros

Hostaway onboarding sessions and dedicated customer support available by phone and messaging are just great. During the onboarding process, \[sensitive content hidden\] was just excellent. Through the one-to-one onboarding sessions, she not only provided great, in-depth explanations of the software but also helped set up the platform, going above and beyond to make sure that everything runs smoothly and is set up correctly. The features of the software are very robust, and it is great to have such a wide choice of integrations.

Cons

I have now been using Hostaway for just over a month, and so far, I cannot see anything that I do not like.

Friendly and supportive onboarding process. Knowledgeable about industry and product. Pretty simple and user friendly interface.

Cons

A little on the pricey side in comparison. Added fees for dynamic pricing and smart lock integration adds up. Would be cause to cancel.

My overall experience has turned from not so great to fantastic with the help of 3 specific support agents. I have nothing but good things to say about \[sensitive content hidden\] . They have dedicated a lot of time to assisting me and helping me understand Hostaway’a functions.

Pros

Hostaway is a useful tool for STR owners, they have all the tools needed to operate and function at the highest level for STR operators.

Cons

In the beginning I have had a lot of hiccups with Hostaway. All of this stems from my initial onboarding and the salesmen who got me to sign up. The initial onboarding was not very helpful. Getting matched with a good support agent later on was the key to making our Hostaway use successful.

It has been good. Again, a lot of work connecting the dots in the automated messages, and trying to understand the triggers when payments are not met. I would recommend that Hostaway have default auto-messages that go out when payment thresholds are not met.

He guided us through every step of the setup process with clarity and confidence, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel smooth and manageable. \[sensitive content hidden\] was always quick to respond to our questions and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and confident using the platform. His support made all the difference, and we're truly grateful to have had him as our onboarding specialist. Highly recommend!

The volume of work required to create automated messages. I thought there would have been more templates available.

Frustrating and expensive, not worth the headache. I like some of the features but the app doesn't have any of them, so it's pretty useless to have apart from a messaging app.

Pros

Integrated messaging and CRM feature (Only IF guests actually fill out their details online, it is not automatic).

Cons

Terrible support, don't even reply to tickets raised. Every time there is an issue where the integration fails or the pricing doesnt disply correctly, it takes them a minimum of 4 days to reply & they don't always solve the issue.
