Despite a few minor issues, it’s a great tool for hosts or property managers looking to scale their business efficiently. I’d recommend it to anyone managing multiple properties.

Pros

Hostaway provides an all-in-one solution that makes managing multiple short-term rental listings much easier. The integration with Airbnb, Booking.com, and other OTAs is seamless, and the automated messaging and calendar syncing save a lot of time. \[sensitive content hidden\] was always responsive and helpful when setting things me up.

Cons

The platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first because of the number of features. Some reports and analytics could be more customizable, and occasional syncing delays between channels can cause minor inconveniences. The pricing is also slightly higher than some competitors for smaller hosts.

Overall, my experience with Hostaway has been fantastic. It is one of the top PMS systems I have used.

Pros

We were having a mapping issue with Hostaway pushing to Airbnb. \[sensitive content hidden\] quickly found the error and modified the listing to fix the mapping connection and get us connected to Airbnb.

Cons

I have had no issues with Hostaway. My only slight issue was that Technical support had no open slots and had to meet with me the following day, but again, they immediately took care of our concerns.

Their 24 hours phone support is amzing please do not take away as PMS systems are complicated and we need support

Cons

website needs updating and more user friendly, like the scroll bars are too small and hard to drag. That would be my suggestion

She is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me understand the formulas as well, which is a tall task! I am grateful that Hostaway has incredible employees like Shakira working tirelessly to support their clients.

Cons

Hostaway can be very challenging to use, especially the financial formula portion. It takes a lot of time and understanding to make sense of it all.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] is EXCEPTIONAL. He is professional, friendly, mannerly, VERY knowledgable, qualified, kind, the best kind of person anyone would want in Customer Service, etc. I cannot say enough positive things abut him. Thank you \[sensitive content hidden\] and Thank you HostAway!

Cons

Many times I have waited exceptionally long for someone to answer. There are certain issues in message syncing with VRBO when someone books through Expedia. With Airbnb guest messaging, it still lists the previous owner as a main account holder.

I like Hostaway so far, very much. When you initially sign up for service, just make sure you understand that you are signing a contract and you may or may not get $ back if you don't like the dynamic pricing. But you can pay the $10 per month per listing and decide whether you like it and override, if you don't

Pros

Excellent customer service. I am new to Hostaway and am learning the system. Hostaway is dedicated to making sure I, the customer, are happy. The system works well. There have been no glitches in the past few months.

Cons

I signed up for remote locks on one property but then the 'Yale Nest' lock was not on their list of approved devices for automated codes sent to the guest. Also, I didn't like the dynamic pricing. I may need to review that again, but I was charged for it when I didn't use it on five properties. After several calls, someone finally got back to me and said they would refund me. I don't think it has happened yet. I need to check.

La app funciona muy bien y constantemente hacen actualizaciones que son muy útiles.

Cons

Ha pasado más de una vez que, al actualizar la app, algunas funciones se ven afectadas, como las notificaciones o la velocidad con la que se actualiza el calendario y los chats. Pero con la siguiente actualización suele corregirse.

Avis très mitigé sur Hostaway (ET qui plus est sur le marché francais) quelques exemples des abérations du logiciel a savoir avant de s'engager : - Impossible de mettre en place un plan tarifaire sur booking pour proposer le petit déjeuner - La fonctionnalité des paiements en 2 fois pour les résas en direct, avec un premier accompte a la reservation et un 2ème paiement plus tard ne fonctionne pas. - Impossible de mettre un prix par nuit et par animal sur airbnb il faut forcément mettre un prix par reservation - Si vous êtes complets sur une période et que vous souhaitez optimiser le remplissage en bougeant des réservations d'un logement a un autre cela est impossible, il faut créer un faux logement vide pour permettre de les bouger (et je dois payer en plus pour ca, car impossible de ne pas me facturer !!!) - Impossible de se connecter a VRBO à part si compte UK mais impossible d'avoir un compte UK si vous avez déjà un compte Abritel - Service client incompétent et qui ne veut pas aider, ils prennent littéralement les clients pour des idiots avec des réponses pré faites. - Impossible de gérer la taxe de séjour si nous ne sommes pas sur un % fixe uniquement comme c'est le cas dans beaucoup de ville en France Bref, nous restons mais je ne sais pas combien de temps, comme tous les channels manager ils connaissent la galère de changer de plateforme. Mais ils ne chercheront JAMAIS a vous aider

Technology is great, people are helpful once you get them on the line, but they need to shorten the wait for the phone support line.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] , the specialist that helped me, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and patient. Very happy with his service.

Cons

Hostaway advertises having a 24hr helpline, but the two times I tried calling, I was on hold for over 40min before I gave up and hung up.

I've had some experience with different platforms, but Hostaway really stood out for me. The intergations run really smoothly, no bugs. The app is also really easy to use for me and housekeeping. The support of Ace Colonia really helped me a lot. I feel confident with this new system!

Pros

What I like most about Hostaway is how smoothly everything works. The onboarding process was incredibly fast — we were up and running in no time. Tasks that would normally take hours are done within minutes.

Cons

There are a few too many settings and customization options for our needs, but once you go through them once, it’s easy to adjust and ignore what you don’t need.

Working with \[sensitive content hidden\] during the onboarding made my life so much easier. She was very calm, knowledgeable, and patient.

Cons

It is impossible to learn it without a guide. I would recommend a pre-onboarding checklist. I wasn’t aware I needed to have Stripe up and running for the 1st call so just make sure folks know.

Cons

There is a lot of functionality which is great, but navigation could be easier/simple. More videos on integration would be helpful too. Can’t text the customer for message automations. Can’t send photos without a link for message automations.

Pros

I like how robust and intuitive they make the platform. I'm excited to improve my overall portfolio optimization.

Cons

The only real con i've noticed is the inability to send images with automated messages. I moved from a much less capable PMS that was able to do this.

Great! I have loved the customer service so far. I loved the onboarding with \[sensitive content hidden\]. That was so helpful. Looking forward to using all of the resources.

Pros

I loved having two onboarding calls with \[sensitive content hidden\] to get me started. It made it so much easier to understand the tools and how to use them. There are so many tools within the software to automate the backend and save me so much time. I love that it's very customizable and I can create a booking website in minutes.

Cons

There are a lot of different places to change things so getting used to all of the tabs and how they work together is a bit overwhelming but that just means it's a powerful tool.

I use Hostaway on a daily basis for my property management needs. I also use it integrated with Breezeway and Enso. I love how easy it is to see reservation information on the calendar, and I love how it integrates with our other software platforms to provide a seamless experience. I do wish there was better integration between platforms for canceled reservations, but overall, I love Hostaway.

Pros

I use Hostaway all the time. I like the ease with which I can view a calendar for a proeprty, as well as multiple properties if I'm looking for an available listing based on certain criteria. I also like being able to see the messages with the guest without having to exit Hostaway, although it's also super easy to navigate to the linked booking profile if necessary.

Cons

As of now, when a reservation is canceled in Hostaway, there is no sort of notification made to integrated platforms. The reservation simply disappears from our Breezeway calendar, and because of this, we have run into a few issues where Breezeway marks a property as clean since it thinks there have been no guests in-house, but there actually has been a guest that canceled their reservation. I also wish the mobile app were easier to use in some regards - I cannot search available listings, for example.

My overall experience with Hostaway has been very positive. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and makes managing short-term rental properties much more efficient. I especially appreciate the centralized dashboard, automation tools, and seamless integrations with booking channels, which save a lot of time and reduce manual work.

That I can do one on one meetings to help with training. \[sensitive content hidden\] was very helpful and resolved all of my questions.

Cons

Sometimes there is long holds on the phone. There isn't really anything else. It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

I am overall satisfied. It has taken me over 6 months to feel more comfortable with their platform. That has been the most challenging. Their AI contact is not very helpful in resolving issues and I don't recommend for their first line of support when just getting started with Hostaway.

Pros

Their customer support is excellent. Having all the online listing sites in one location is very helpful for managing reservations, communications, and other tasks.

Cons

I struggle with their user interface on the online platform. I also find their app on my phone to be less fully functioning.
