In addition, we had some questions in between our onboarding meetings with \[sensitive content hidden\]. The customer support staff was also 10 out of 10. They were very helpful, patient, and knowledgable! Pros \[sensitive content hidden\] was AMAZING!! He was very professional, extremely knowledgable about the product, and answered every single question I had. He was so good! I am VERY happy with Hostaway so far. It is intuitive, easy to navigate, and allows me to integrate all of our channels in one spot. I could not imagine operating a STR business without it. I am so happy with the product. Pros The fact that it automates some of the most repetitive and tedious tasks, I've gained some time back to focus on other areas of the STR properties. The only point to add was that I was told originally we could bulk export contacts details from previous booking channels before using Hostaway, but Hostaway doesn't have that feature. I'm still unsure if this software will save me time as opposed to the other one we used. I'm confused on the billing that hostaway charges my credit card. Cons The diffent ways you have to input properties into different platforms. The billing is Questionable. I am confused. It takes time to learn to work with it but with practice and time it shall be learned. Pros Customer support is great. Reservation management is good, great value for the service. Booking engine is a plus. Cons The page has a lot of areas that can be clicked on and it takes time to learn it all. The onboarding is more about instruction if where to click rather than a teaching process. It was good to have a trainer who explains you the whole system Cons Issues with exporting, for example not all prices got synchronised correctly, also when changing the amount of bathrooms, this took a while before the change was actually made. They also have an actual customer service department. Cons The guest portal doesn't allow the guest to make a pay. They can only add a form of payment. I wish the guest portal had more features. It does help with managing multiple properties and automating some tasks, but it took me a while to get used to the platform. Some things work well, some things are a bit confusing or slow, so I would say its useful but not perfect. Pros What I liked most about Hostaway is that it puts a lot of tools in one place. Managing listings, calenders, and messages across different booking platforms is convenient, and the automation features help reduce some of the manual work. The dashboard is pretty robust and once it’s set up it can save time, especially if you are managing more than one property. Cons What I liked least about Hostaway is that it can be a bit confusing to set up at first, the interface sometimes feels clunky and not very intuitive. That why they structured the business in a foreign nation who does not consider not providing services steeling. Pros They were great at selling the product. I had 2 one hour conversations with them explaining to me how excellent the product was. Cons The App did not do the things they said it would. Then they keep your money. I tried to use the app to message guest and could not do it. I put in a help desk case and they advised that you cannot use the app to send messages. Rendering the app useless to me.
