Prompt customer support and the agents explain the instructions very clear.

Cons

Not being user friendly, still in the works, many things to consider like arranging the photos gives me a hard time to drag each of them.

Overall we are happy with Hostaway, we have been using this Host Channel for about 3 years now and we continue to renew our membership.

Pros

Hostaway is very efficient and has a lot of valuable tools, they are constantly fixing and updating and adding better features over the years which is great.

Cons

Sometimes they have their glitches and can take a little while waiting to get assigned someone to help fix the problem if it's a bug, but once we you get the right agent, like \[sensitive content hidden\], the problem is usually fixed quickly and that same day.

Pros

Managing all the prices for platforms in a calendar. Having a report for our account department for all the transactions based on every platform, without having to check for each one separately. Also the automated messages are top service for us. Also, we would like to thank \[sensitive content hidden\] for the absolute great learning experience he gave us. Explaining everything even the silly questions we had sometimes. If we ever suggest Hostaway to someone we would hope that the onboarding session will be with Fatih, so they can get the same experience.

Cons

We have not yet met any problems at this point. Maybe because we have none.

My first onboarding call went well, but then issues came after that and I got super stressed but then support team was super super helpful.

Pros

The support team and \[sensitive content hidden\] in particular was just amazing, she helped when I was stressed and stayed with me the all unless everything was sorted and good again, she went above and beyond to make sure I was ok!! Thank you

Cons

The fact that a major issue came up after my first onboarding call that should have been discussed prior .

Really good, our onboarding call went amazing, ace is very helpful and knows how to navigate the system well.

Pros

I just started using it, at the moment we really like the ease of use and the fact that we can automate our messages depending on each listing

Cons

We’re still not sure how everything works, but icals can be complicated to integrate, and I would like to see more clearly the name of each customer and the platform from which they reserved more clearly

It’s been good overall. Just some things I hope will update or change in the future like I mentioned above. Billy has been one of the main guys who answer my support questions and he is great! 5 stars to him

Pros

Constantly trying to improve the platform with new things and fixing old issues

Cons

1) Not able to set different cancellation policies with VRBO. VRBO allows you to have a cancellation policy for short term stays and a different one for long term stays. HostWay doesn’t have a connection currently to link correctly with them to do that. 2) Wish users would be able to create different minimum day stays and maximum day stays on different OTAs. 3) If you all had a CRM that would be awesome too 4) If a manual payment like a check is entered. Have it a way to delete it without clicking “refund”. Gives me anxiety thinking they’ll be refunded on a CC charge

Pros

I decided on Hostaway as it has all the features in one package. I have three properties listed on three platforms and needed something to better organize and automate my day-to day tasks. The app is easy to navigate and tells me what I need to know at a quick glance.

Cons

I wish that there was an efficient way to write and respond to guest reviews over the different channels.

The one stop shop is great for our team. I like that I can do everything from my phone.

Cons

I wish there was more ability to schedule trainings 1 on 1. I would pay for a coach for an hour to walk through features v 15 min phone call to cram it all in.

Support is generally responsive. I like that they will reach back out to me for feedback on a ticket.

Glitches in the system that need to be fixed. I would like to see more options for users to be able to customize individual users.

My overall experience with Hostaway has been positive, primarily because of the trainer we were assigned. Not only was he patient but he was also flexible when I needed to make last-minute meeting changes. He never became impatient and patiently reanswered the same quesetion if needed. Also, none of my questions stumped him.

Pros

I appreciated having six training sessions led by the same expert Hostaway representative. I quickly became comfortable asking questions, and the rep adapted to my learning pace. Every question I asked was answered and I was guided through new skills with hands-on experience.

Cons

I find Hostaway challenging to learn. It is more sophisticated than I probably need with only two properties. If I were starting over, I might choose management software with fewer functions and, therefore, a less overwhelming interface.

Simple platform good functionality for a few properties at a time

Pros

Easy to view calendar can show you multiple properties at the same time and it is simple to see vacant days and availability for multiple properties at the same time

Cons

It does not show you the total number of days booked for a particular property for example, if you wanna know how many nights the properties been booked for the year for the month for the quarter you have to calculate that manually
