He was ere incredibly patient and knowledgeable while helping us set up our listing, walking us through every detail step-by-step and making sure everything was configured correctly. Their professionalism and calm approach made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and easy. We truly appreciate the time, attention, and care they gave us. Highly recommend, outstanding customer service!

Cons

The platform UI is a bit dated and the mobile app has somewhat limited functionality. This would be my only "complaint" and it is minor.

Average. I don't know that I would recommend Hostaway to others yet. I took a chance after reviewing other software and have been questioning that decision. As we move forward I hope more smooths out, but we will see.

Onboarding process is way more complex than it was made to appear when talking to the sales team. We were prepared, but the directions and process are not always clear.

At first, Hostaway seemed promising. The sales rep, \[sensitive content hidden\] , was very responsive and friendly during the sales process. We paid the onboarding fee but quickly realized within three business days that the platform wasn’t a fit for our needs. When I explained that we had found a local company that offered a more tailored solution without the extra costs, \[sensitive content hidden\] responded by speaking negatively about that company. Ironically, when I asked the other provider about Hostaway, they only had respectful things to say. That contrast spoke volumes. After requesting to cancel, I received a string of increasingly pushy emails from \[sensitive content hidden\] , repeatedly trying to convince us to stay with additional discounts. Despite declining multiple times, the pressure continued. The worst part was when \[sensitive content hidden\] crossed a serious line: he privately messaged my mother, spamming her with emotional appeals and attempting to guilt-trip us into signing up. This behavior was unprofessional, manipulative, and completely unacceptable. Overall, this experience showed me how poorly run Hostaway is behind the friendly sales pitch. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Be warned, this is not the all singing and dancing software you would expect from the sales pitch. Several untruths in the sales process, extremely poor onboarding led to ongoing issues. I would never go down this route again if we went back in time.

Multi calendar is quite good and the airbnb connection.

Cons

\- onboarding was terrible and led to several double bookings with zero support to solve. Extremely poor. - onboarding of booking.com extremely poor. - customer service levels are very bad. Agents frequently don't understand their own software. - No response when querying a major billing increase with no warning. - Account managers leave regularly and no replacement given. - Several new features launched but existing ones don't function well. - Told that Hostaway incorporate new features into existing price by sales Rep Cory, 12 months in and they have released several features which are all at an additional expense.

Booking management is flow and the platform is pretty easy to use. The support is efficient in most cases

Cons

Some functions are not supported by the app, so you need to go on the browser interface for the dashboard. When I trying to connect on my phone I'm being redirected to the app. It's pretty annoying because I have to access my computer, and it's not always possible (or to erase the app from the phone and re install It afterwards) The connection with VRBO is far from being friendly to use

Overall its a good platform however the integration move from just Air B&B to Hostaway and the other platforms is not easy or quick. I can see that eventually its going to be fine but its taken me hours upon hours..and the person doing my onboarding was not easy to work with. For me.

Cons

1-If the agents are busy and you leave a call back number I have not gotten ever a call back. 2-the layout of the portal is difficult with letters so small...very primitive and not a great UI. 3-the booking machine UI is horrible.

Alles war gut. Ehrlich gesagt gab es nichts, was mir an Hostaway nicht gefallen hat. Ich war immer rundum zufrieden – sowohl mit dem Support als auch mit der Bedienung und Zuverlässigkeit des Systems. Alle Funktionen liefen stabil, Updates wurden sinnvoll umgesetzt, und der Kundenservice war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolute Empfehlung!

When you initially sign up for service, just make sure you understand that you are signing a contract and you may or may not get $ back if you don't like the dynamic pricing. But you can pay the $10 per month per listing and decide whether you like it and override, if you don't

Excellent customer service. I am new to Hostaway and am learning the system. Hostaway is dedicated to making sure I, the customer, are happy. The system works well. There have been no glitches in the past few months.

Cons

I signed up for remote locks on one property but then the 'Yale Nest' lock was not on their list of approved devices for automated codes sent to the guest. Also, I didn't like the dynamic pricing. I may need to review that again, but I was charged for it when I didn't use it on five properties. After several calls, someone finally got back to me and said they would refund me. I don't think it has happened yet. I need to check.

It's amazing, I am very happy that I chose this PMS. My business is growing quickly, and Hostaway is a big part of it.

Pros

Customer Service and 24/7 phone support. Y3n is my favorite customer service rep. He took time to talk to me when I needed help on the support line, and then since I still needed help, he set up a meeting with me and helped me with several issues over the course of 30 minutes. He went above and beyond and is very patient. He's the BEST, he deserves a raise! Thank you Y3n?

Cons

It was a learning curve to get everything set up, but that's normal when using a new system! I had plenty of support along the way. Thank you!

Really great. so far i've been spending less and less time loggin into each channel to manage bookings and that's really a testament to the productivity/usefulness of Hostaway.

Pros

Has everything under one hood. it's super feature rich and - albeit intimidating at first - actually very easy and efficient once you get to know your way around.

Cons

The only downside i would say was the timing/availability for onboarding calls in general. I would also like to see a chat options for technical questions or guidance (although i can imagine it can be quite burdensome). The website designer could use major upgrades - ideally with many more options and even a option to book a designer to help customize it for non-web designer people. Widget preview window. IF possible, allow live preview when modifying the code.
