I was fortunate to be given the KOKM roadmap (so to speak) of how everything is integrated in the LMS. Talk about very well articulated and thought out, anyone that is looking for an awesome LMS like this would be foolish to out their money elsewhere. I have never said this about an organization in the past (and I am very critical), but my loyalty with be to KOKM due to their customer service, attention to detail, how well this is put together as well as the ease of use of the system. Pros First and foremost, the EASE of use and how well this software was mapped and thought out. I actually have talked to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] several times and every thought (and I have been doing training over 38 years) was answered. The integration of the LMS, courses, lessons etc are superior. The professionalism, customer service and everything that went into the development of KOKM is above reproach!! Cons I can not think of one thing at all that I have not liked. If a product is very well thought out like this and doing what if scenarios like they have done in the development. It goes without saying kudos on KOKM for taking their time and putting out a quality product. In working with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], I know if something was to come up for any type of futrue continuous improvment, each of us needs to clearly state what it is we would want approved with recommended solutions and KOKM always considers inputs. But I can not think of any right now. Reasons for choosing Kokm I was looking at a few other LMS systems (can't remember their names) and they were not as detailed as this or the cost was extreme for what I wanted to accomplish for my organization. The team have a very collaborative approach and help and guide us as and when we need it without charging. We have a dedicated client service manager who has been with us since inception and knows our business and workflows and is able to assist with new initiatives. This speeds up understanding and gives a deeper level of confidence with the people and the product. Pros The ease of use and how everything is integrated and you dont have to jump in and out of different applications as the workflow is seamless from sale to GL. Our team in office and on the field can collaborate and coauthor marketing material and sales and deal with sales issues. The integrated learning management system has been invaluable as a resource and library for our staff in upskilling and keeping knowledge relevant. The KOKM team listen and help us to get the maximum value out of the product. Cons There is nothing i don't like about KOKM. Whilst out of the box Kokm met the immediate needs, what stands out for me is the way Bev, Martin and David have worked so closely with us in order to tailor the solution in as many ways as possible. At no point in the development of the content have we met with an idea that couldn't be developed or created, meaning that ultimately the solution appears to be almost bespoke. This isn't just the user side of Kokm either. The gang at Kokm's first step was to ensure that the administrative side was structured and labelled in such a way that Kokm quickly begins to feel like an internally developed system. Once the initial set up and training was done we started adding a variety of content, transferring the learning that existed in files and folders across in a way that engaged the learner and was easy to access. As we developed the content we had our hand held by David at Kokm who ensured that as our thinking and needs developed so did Kokm. Even where there was a constraint which we initially considered to be a thorn in the side - David would go away, having fully understood the requirement, and return with a solution (and in many cases a better approach) to what we were trying to achieve using elements of Kokm we just hadn't considered. At the time of writing this the software and solutions are being tested by a small number of users so we can fine tune before a full UK launch. In doing this we are stood shoulder to shoulder with Kokm who are ensuring that they are on hand to address anything that crops up. Given the investment I believe this level of support is phenomenal. Whilst it is easy with any new software to become annoyed and frustrated as you start to use it, and I must admit at one point I did think that it could not achieve everything we hoped, this feeling quickly melts away as the team at Kokm wrap their arms around you and not only show you how to make life easier but actively get involved in demonstrating how. At one point my 11 yr old daughter asked if she could help me at work and I gave her access to Kokm to test a solution I had developed. She logged on, found the solution, completed it and logged off without help from me . That is a big tick for the intuitive nature of Kokm for the end user. I recommend it. Pros Flexibility, support and intuitive feel. Cons One of the admin functions to create quiz content can feel clumsy - however this feedback is already being addressed by Kokm as any con I find they have so far fixed - they listen attentively to feedback. We wanted a site that was cost effective but also gave us the functionality we required. We had looked at various different options but Kokm, we felt was the only one that would allow us the flexibility we needed to cover all of our needs. The team at Kokm have been incredibly helpful from the start, from the initial demonstrations to conference calls to discuss and agree how the site will look as well as providing training on how to carry out tasks ourselves. The team have been very quick in answering any questions that we have had and have made the process very straight forward. The Kokm site that we have developed is user friendly, we love the fact that we have been able to customise it to what we want and this has allowed us to design the site to look the same as our external website in relation to colours, themes etc. It is great that we can carry out a lot of the work ourselves but we know that the Kokm team are on hand should we need them. In addition to housing e-learning content we spoke at length with Customer support representative about our competency framework and how we could view this on the site, the Kokm team spent time to understand our needs and the result has been fantastic. They have built a bespoke section for our competency framework that looks professional, allowing users to view their current level and also the next level should they wish to progress. The team at Kokm continue to be on hand and answer our queries since we went live approximately 3 months ago. The site is doing everything we need it to and we are so pleased with the outcome. The client chose Kokm for this as it has amazing features, with new ones being added regularly, and for it's flexibility and value for money. Some training was needed to explain how use the system and how to do certain things. If you're not a technically minded this could be a bit overwhelming. However, the Kokm team are on hand to help with any queries. We chose to customise the design and add our own new features based on our requirements. The Kokm team were always very open, friendly and responsive and have helped us to achieve what we were looking for. Improvements could be made by providing really clear "How to" documentation when first signing up for the product. Along with a better system for communicating issues, expected durations for work/updates and feedback. Overall, we've had a great experience with Kokm, the software has allowed us to create a brilliant site and products easily and quickly at the fraction of the cost of doing it from scratch with a developer. And the team have always been professional and helpful. I'd definitely recommend them.
