We had an accident with two of our vehicles and I could not find the footage of it, and no customer experience person EVER responded to me. Pros The equipment was easy to install, that is honestly the only highlight of this service! Not much else to brag on. Cons Have an issue? Good luck getting ahold of someone or ever hearing back on your problem. The interface is clunky and the capabilities are low. Other than a few times where GPS tracking has helped us, this has been a colossal waste of money. From the very beginning, their devices rarely worked properly. We experienced constant issues with tracking our fleet — the core reason we got their service in the first place. Every time we raised the problem, we were told it could be fixed, but nothing ever changed. Despite ongoing malfunctions and a total lack of usable service, they locked us into a long-term contract and refused to let us out. Over the course of five years, we spent over $15,000 on a service that did not function as promised, making it a complete waste of money. Titan GPS has proven to be inflexible, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to take accountability for their non-working product. If you're considering them — don’t. There are far better GPS providers out there that actually deliver what they promise. Cons Absolutely the worst business decision we’ve made was signing a 5-year contract with Titan GPS. .... We gave them every opportunity to fix the problems, but nothing ever improved. In the end, we had to stop wasting money on a system that didn’t work and move to a provider that could actually support our operations and deliver on their promises. We have had great success in the tracking of our fleet and have enjoyed the insurance discounts as well. Pros The accuracy of location details as well as the integrated street view. Cons The coordination for installation was a bit difficult to manage as the installation department was hard to reach at times. We also experienced a technical issue after install on one of our vehicles that they were not helpful with until I pointed out their absurdity. Always get a quick response when we have questions or concerns with our units. Pros I have always found the devices exceed the life expectancy of the vehicles they are installed in. Some of them have lasted for almost 10 years and we would likely still be using them if our needs did not require us to upgrade to units with more features. Cons They require a cellular signal to update to the network. Occasionally units will glitch and require resetting by service. To my recollection this has only ever happened a couple of times over the last few years. It has not happened once since we upgraded to the newer units last year.
