Pros: I need to ensure my team of maintenance staff are able to respond to issues with the minimum amount of complication.... UpKeep is the most agile application for my guys. You don't have to have a degree in computer science to operate and update the application and you can go from generating/receiving a work order to completing it with only a few simple taps/click. The fact it's cross platform and works vey well on mobiles is an absolute must for me! ....no longer needing a tablet in addition to a phone! I very much look forward to some of the feature rich content coming into play later in the year.

Cons: Whilst the the day-to-day usability of the application is straight forward, there are little annoyances that pop up - having used the software for 6 months now, and being able to feed back usability issues to a VERY receptive support team, the issues are usually ironed out fairly quickly.

Overall: Better flexibility in tracking issues raised by tenants and on the progress of those issues with our maintenance team.

Great software and technology to help transition off a troublesome CMMS.

Pros: The part inventory feature is great to keep our storeroom up-to-date. The ability to view Work Orders outside the plant and understand the current status of progress. Pictures within the Work Orders have assisted with identifying exact issues and items to work on.

Cons: There are some features that are not available on the desktop software vs the mobile software, working at combining the best features to both platforms could assist with the continuous improvement of the software.

Pros: It's non nonsense and a simple format for my team to use. It allows us to all be in the know and submit simultaneously.

Cons: On occasion, it takes a while to add photos. Truth be told, there aren't many downsides with the product. Most of the malfunction is mistakes on our part.

Pros: Allows me to quickly and easily manage my work orders. My manager really likes being able to keep track of the work flow throughout the day and week as well as address issues that come up with upper management. He is able to quickly pull up the paper trail of whatever issue our customer has had and see the history and notes on any other similar issues.

Cons: The software has great core functionality. However, some of the systems like reporting and inventory are still early in development or slightly underdeveloped.

The customer support team has been great. Software is user friendly

Pros: I like the ability to have remote/mobile access, set up customer filters and fields to suit our needs. I also like the ability to use your smartphone for photos and such.

Cons: The ability to modify an outside customer portal is limited. Also the cost per user seems too high, but that seems to be standard across many field service apps.

Overall: Communication and follow up with service techs and customer work order requests

UpKeep has been great. It's been a clean, simple design that's easy to use.

Pros: One of the nice things about UpKeep is the simplicity. It's a straightforward design and layout. It has great features and functions that are easy to use. It has help our company to stay better organized with work orders and projects. It also has allowed us to provide a better visual to our maintenance team of their projects. We're able to keep up with their progress which helps schedule upcoming projects.

Cons: The only downside to UpKeep is we lost a function when we upgraded from the free account to a paid account. On the free account we were able to assign tasks to any user. When we upgraded, we didn't pay for every member of our maintenance team to have complete access. They are now view only users, which won't allow us to assign them tasks. We have to do it a "round-about" way by adding them as a third party user. It works, it's just not as easy as it had been before.

Overall: We have been able to better organize and track our maintenance team's progress on projects and tasks. We're also able to assign specific tasks to employees, with details, which reduces the amount of confusion and questions.

Pros: The Work order section of the program is well set out ... which is used the most on a daily basis.

Cons: All good l don't use every part of Upkeep but the Workorder , Assets and Parts/Inventory all are well set out and easy to use

Pros: The accessibility from the field, easily transmit work orders via the cloud, easily message, create PM and CM's on demand if needed. The program itself is very flexible with the option of creating the system for the intended use of your CMMS.

Cons: I would suggest (for UpKeep) to add an option of being able to schedule CM/PM workorders for a specified day in a week/month/year that you can easily choose or schedule, instead of having just the ability to select day/week/month/year/scheduled days, and add that option to your platform.

Upkeep has been great for our enterprise needs. They go above and beyond.

Pros: The interface is great for technician and administrator alike. The app is robust enough to meet our demand across 24 sites and through 22 administrators.

Cons: I really don't have a con. To date we have had no issue that we could not resolve using the app tools. The one issue I have experienced is actually outside of Upkeep control. We would use the UPC code more often for inventory control but many maintenance products do not lend themselves to easily having a bar code on the product.

I have been using this WO system for quite a while now, and have found it to be extremely helpful.

Pros: It is very easy to use, even for someone who may not be familiar with this type of system. It has many features that have improved our efficiency, as well as our coordination within each department.

Cons: I cannot add other "Team Members" unless they are paid subscribers, and I don't have access to many of the forms I would like to utilize.

Overall: Better productivity, efficiency, and organization.

Pros: Ease of use and the portability of it for our team. Layout of the application is simple to get around and teach to new users that are not familiar with applications.

Cons: Slight lag when using the product every now and then. Additionally, I would like more customization with the data tools, such as an internal spreadsheet viewer to find trends within task lists. However, this is easily manageable with some Excel work.

Pros: able to keep records of things that need to be done or have already been done so it can be used later on when needed. Also able to print out work order to pass on to person that will be taking care of it

Cons: Have not found anything as of yet that I do not like about this program. If I find anything in the future I will contact my supervisor or the company to inform them of my concern.

Overall: able to put in a work order from my smart phone witch is very helpful. I can also see my work orders were ever needed

Upkeep is GREAT for our equipment tracking & maintenance. Great value for our company!

Pros: Extremely easy to use, very intuitive! Everyone had a very easy time learning how to use the product and everyone had positive feedback right away. Upkeep immediately helped us get organized without the need for days of training. We bought this after months of research around equipment maintenance and tracking software which was exorbitant. Upkeep promised very similar abilities for a fraction of the price and without having to train our entire staff. Upon implementation, Upkeep immediately enabled us to track machine hours and create work orders for scheduled maintenance. We were able to neatly log all of our equipment and work orders/specs/schematics. Reporting abilities and maintenance cost are built-in options. We began easily logging parts and inventory with alerts when quantities are low. Everyone using Upkeep found it very easy to set up and use. This product has greatly helped our company better track and keep up with our heavy machinery and its recurring maintenance. Customer service has been terrific and we are most pleased with our decision to purchase Upkeep.

Cons: We are a large, mixed fleet company and Upkeep lacks an ability to separate assets and inventory by category. Also the employees on the field who are 'requesters' would like a bit more access to our equipments lists in order to log hour meters with ease.

Overall: Maintenance tracking and work order creation with ease. Logging of parts and assets with alerts when quantities are low. Product is extremely intuitive and easy to use.

Pros: The Inventory section with pictures is the best and dashboard is very helpful. I will totally recommend this software!

Cons: Until now, everything work for me perfectly for me. Except the pop up or notification by cell phone is very important to me but sometimes I do not receive them at all.

Pros: Love the cost and ease of use of Upkeep. This system is very intuitive and the mobile app is great! We love that documentation can be attached to work orders.

Cons: Our only wish is that the invoicing procedure was improved and could be customized more for our needs.

Pros: I like that I can have all of my work requests in one place and easily plan them out . It is also easy for the teachers to request items to be fixed.

Cons: I wish the master planner was included in all paid versions, this would help with planning even more.

Overall: I benefit from nor missing any to-dos and all the staff are happy that I stay on top of things.

Pros: From the front desk clerks to the maintenance crew, they all love UpKeep. It really helps them stay on track.

Cons: When adding a user, the price doubles. If adding a user increased the price by 25-50% more instead of doubling it, I could justify adding more users.

Pros: This software is user friendly. Comes with multiple filter to get exact details required. Realtime updates & alerts available

Cons: Customization of monthly reports specially excel sheets to determine exact time taken from request to update to completion is not available

Pros: The software is very intuitive and easy for our techs to use. They have no problem integrating it into their daily workflow. it is exceedingly helpful for management to track the productivity levels of our techs as they go about their daily activities.

Cons: Some functionality could use a little more customization but I'm sure they will get to it. It is a relatively new platform but they are growing and moving quickly.

Pros: User friendly interface for frontline employees. Responsive customer support. Constantly improving. Competitively priced

Cons: There is a trade off on built in reporting flexibility, but this can easily be handled by exporting to excel.

Overall: Improved tracking of work requests. Ease of scheduling maintenance techs which translates to improved usage of tech time and more rapid close out of work order. UpKeep has also given us a solution to manage our MRO inventory without increasing headcount.

Pros: -Easy to use

-Great staff that is eager to help

We have been using this program for nearly a year now to help keep our inventory and maintenance records up to date. This program has been great for us in knowing where we need to make changes. Definitely recommend.

Cons: -Every program can use some updates and better features and that goes for upkeep to but with the Upkeep team there to take all ideas that are presented to them that makes this program better from the rest.

Overall: This software makes it more convenient for our team to keep records of maintenance and inventory. We are able to keep notes of where we purchased items and also have notes of different pricing so later on when we check for that item we can look back at this and know where we can get the best price.

This app has been incredibly helpful for our construction company. We are way more organized now!

Pros: It's pretty user friendly. Even the guys out doing the jobs that aren't tech savvy find it easy to understand.

Cons: It's difficult to review jobs that has been finished unless you buy the membership. There's a limit to which jobs you can see. However, the issue is resolved if you buy to full version so if you can't live without seeing every job you've completed then I suggest investing in that.

Overall: Everyone on our team has access to it, so there isn't any middle man trying to get information out to everyone. It helps projects get done much quicker than before.

I can honestly say i love using this app, 100% made my job alot easier.

Pros: The software is very easy to use and well set out. Any problems with the software in my experience have been sorted out within 24 hours. The people on the team are great and are always available to help with any problems big or small. I would really recommend this software to anyone.

Cons: As maintenance engineer I service my machines on a 4 week turn around, but the software only lets you choose either 1,2 weeks or 1 month option or the recurring jobs. I have been told that this will be added in a future update or the software. Other than this i can not find anything i don't like about the software.

Overall: I can keep an eye on stock levels. Keep track of the jobs i have done and jobs still to do. This software as saved me loads of time.

Pros: Has been a great experience for me but I would have to say the customer support is what I like the most. Super helpful & quick to respond.

Cons: When using the app sometimes the information has a slight delay in updating. For example when you change the status of a work order occasionally the change lags a little behind. Hardly a problem really.

Pros: Very easy to use with constant updates to make it easier for the user. Anytime you are having an issue, it makes it easy with the customer support bar because they answer the query straight away

Pros: We run convenience stores, Subway's and retail shopping centers. Upkeep helps us keep all maintenance team members on the same page and makes overall communication more effective.

Cons: There are still times when the app or website acts up. Recently, one of the team member could not log in for a few days. There are time where I can't accept a request from my computer but I can from the app. Still a little buggy.

Pros: UpKeep is really easy to use and the interface is very simple to understand.
It has great mobile support which is critical for workers in the field.
Upkeep is also very easy to manage from an admins perspective.

Cons: There isn't a way to set custom filtered views of works orders as "default", so every time you close the app or website, you have to change to your preferred filter view (As of April 2018).

Overall: No more lost or forgotten work requests.

Pros: Easy to use, and the app makes it even better for the end users, administrators, and workers to enter work orders from anywhere.

Cons: Cannot edit/remove assets entered by other workers, and users do not receive any email notifications when work orders are updated or completed.

Comments: With all of the requests coming in on a daily basis as well as required tasks this software makes everything easy. Managing tasks, inventory as well as being able to see where time is spent and how much.

Pros: Easy and simple to use once you learn how to use the mobile app and desktop environment as it makes life much simpler.

Pros: It works and the customer service response to issues is quick. It tracks all input issues and preventative checklists for us.

Cons: It is still a work in progress for us but is adaptable. Getting it set up is intensive but worth it.

Comments: At a former employer, we used a similar work order system that had half the features of UpKeep, and twice the cost. I was amazed to discover how much we got for so little.

Pros: The biggest pro is the functionality. All of our inventory, work orders, assets, schedules, and meters are all included in one app. The account setup is very flexible and affordable. Customer Support responds instantly and resolves any issue that arises, though few issues have occurred.

Cons: When the product was new, there were a few issues with training staff to use it. As the product developed, it became easier for our techs to navigate. Other than initial training, we haven't had any problems.

Currently using Upkeep to manage inventory and service for a fleet of drill rigs.

Pros: I really like the Request Portal, and the easy app that can be used. This Software has been a life saver in keeping me organized and able to keep track of Requests

Cons: as of right now there is not many faults. I do like the updated portal but can not figure out how to keep it it keeps switching back.

Pros: It's very easy to use once you get everything setup with your specific company. The iTunes/Android app make it even easier for your employees to use and operate.

Cons: Can be confusing at times to get the assets figured out, and some things can't be changed such as titles. If you don't know what you're doing, you will have a tough time getting started.

Comments: Overall, UpKeep is a great product. The biggest disappointment that I have currently, I assume like many of you, is that I don't have more time currently to invest in it. It has many functions that I have yet to take advantage of that I have no doubt will be a benefit as well.

Pros: Ease of Use: Adding and modifying work orders, adding and modifying assets, building schedules are a snap and can be done with as much detail as desired. Cost: UpKeep has helped us reduce our downtime to less than 1%. I cannot overstate how minuscule the fee is compared to maintenance cost savings and up-time productivity. Support: The team at UpKeep are always fast to respond to any questions or problems that I encounter.

Cons: I would like to see more flexibility in repeating schedules (mostly monthly). Also I would like for repeating schedules to repeat from the day last performed. Repeating schedules over a week get out of sync with the actual days they are or need to be performed. Making sure that we are not over or under performing some of these tasks can be tricky at times.

Pros: I love that you can create work orders quickly, and receive quick updates on what has been done, or any changes that need to be made. It provides instant accountability for your team.

Cons: The app is more suited to a maintenance department, more than a facilties department where we do everything from clean to mowing, to fixing the building.

Pros: I initially set out looking for a CMMS that we could put in the hands of my maintenance team to track work orders about 6 months ago utilizing Ipads. It has given me so much more transparency into our 24/7 operation. I have been able to apply real operational analytics to our maintenance team now!

Cons: It's not free! Although the price of the service was a tough sell initially, it more than pays for itself with reduced administrative hours.

Comments: I can almost guarantee a ROI on this product within the first year of implementation. I truly believe it pays for itself with the ability to go green and stop so much paper reports and tracking, as well freeing up admin staff to do other important duties. It is truly amazing! Techs in the field love it just as much as it makes their job so much easier and provides them abilities to provide updates to important tasks in real time.

Pros: Not only is UpKeep easy to use and learn, getting it implemented within my organization has been practically turnkey! UpKeep staff provided an amazing training experience for my organization and we were up and running in no time. Service after the sale has been fantastic! UpKeep is always ready and willing to help us with whatever we have a question about. Our field techs were super quick to pick it up and become masters with managing of work orders. My organization leadership love it too! It's incredibly easy to see our entire organization in one big picture. UpKeep has by and large far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to using UpKeep for many years to come!

Cons: There are really no cons with this amazing software! Anytime there has been some kind of obstacle during implementation and usage, it has already been resolved to our complete satisfaction.

Pros: The access to work orders and editing them is great. I love the request feature since some employees don't have access to the whole software.

Cons: Absolutely hate when editing assets or parts that when you search by name, and click on edit part after editing it goes back to front page of either parts or assets.

Pros: Everything! It makes a whole difference in planning and tracking your Maintenance! Very friendly to maintenance personal not very inclined to use a software for their job.

Cons: Has some glitches related to adding parts to a work order. So far, you can do that only with your tablet, not with a PC. Then when you add the part, and with WO still open, the part is gone from inventory, that should happens only at the time of closing the WO. Pretty sure is an easy fix and believe they are already working on this issue.

Comments: Its a great program for beginners in the sense of getting people used to something new, a new way of doing things. Many of the people in my office are older and prefer to have everything on paper but they have adjusted well to the program and without any problem.

Pros: This program incorporates all of the items that a property management company would need to be able to control and have access to. it makes it 100 times easier to be able to jump online submit a request and be done with it. You can add all of your tenants and both can access any progress on the service or request being made as well as your vendor who is fixing it etc.

Cons: Didn't find any really. This program was the 1st CMMS program for our company to use in the 30 plus years that its been doing property management and no one had a difficult time learning or adjusting to it.

Pros: We've been using UpKeep for the last 5 months now and the team has quickly adopted it. We've been trying to run our facility on paper and excel documents and one day a few months ago one of our colleagues showed us the app he had downloaded on the app store. Pros: I loved having the ability to self onboard the system, and training my team of its use only took a minute!

Cons: The only con I have found is the lack of ability to select a default worker/team for new work orders. as it is now the default worker assigned is the user creating the work order.

Overall: simple method assigning, tracking, and archiving work done.

Comments: I think that Upkeep is a good choice for any size project and it was definitely the best value option that our company came across.

Pros: The best parts of Upkeep that our team experienced were the API functionality, the great customer support, and the simple user interface. We saved money on maintenance and training.

Cons: The only main downside to Upkeep is that it does not offer all of the functionality that a more expensive CMMS provides. However, on multiple occasions, I have asked Upkeep's development team to add features or documentation, and they were very receptive and speedy.

Pros: Lower friction for end users means that all of them use it reliably and our team can go to one place for managing our tickets.

Cons: Sometimes takes longer than I want to wait for the site or app to refresh when I'm trying to work quickly.

Overall: Lower cost, better end user buy-in and better communication with our Facility team.

There are no other CMMS with this feature set at this price point.

Pros: Easiest sell to the boss. "For that much? Just do it."
Lowest training time. Share an email address with requesters. Users take 10 minutes to be up and running.
Has all we need to develop a more responsive facilities management team.

Cons: We have had one occasion when audible updates didn't come through on our phones, but the team at UpKeep were very responsive and the problem was fixed in minutes.

Overall: Quicker response time to maintenance requests.
Improved request rates. People don't let things go out of not knowing how to report a problem.
Tracking of expenses by asset or location.
Easier scheduling of service personnel.

Pros: There are many things to like about this software.. If I had to pick my #1 top thing it would be that its extremely easy to use! They have it laid out so well and it's easy to follow and track your work orders and supplies! It was well thought out by the developers!

Overall: A lot of benefits! Able to track items and work orders.. Be able to view them and keep everyone updated on where that work order stands. Having multiple users so everyone is accountable for their assigned tasks! Just an overall great software!

Pros: Being able to keep track of my team members quality of work with the required signature function is extremely helpful. The low inventory reminder is also one of my favorite.

Cons: I find the limitation on the Dashboard difficult to do presentations. However, I was informed but upkeep team members that they are improving this feature.

Overall: Maintenance team communication was immensely improved. Work orders were being completed in an order of importance.

Pros: Customer service plus the ability for any of my team to submit a request. The way they submit the request is very simple so they don't have to be really trained how to use the system. Has helped us create more than just a paper trail for our equipment, it has allowed us to demonstrate our stewardship and our ongoing efforts to proactively maintain our equipment. I also really like that the software is web based and bridges across all platforms we use. We have iPads, Android phones, iPhones, and Microsoft based computers. This allows each of our users to be able to have access at anytime.

Cons: Would be nice to be able to schedule recurring PM's Monthly on a day not just a date. This is a minor detail though that is easily solved with just a little more front end work on the scheduling.

Overall: Helps us demonstrate to our Corporate Family that we are being good stewards of their equipment. Allows us to track the PMs as well as the breakdowns. Has helped increase accountability and communication with the team.

Decided to use upkeep to have a better control of in house maintenance in our 171 bedroom property.

Pros: Easy to use. Mobile friendly. Allows to take a picture when logging in work order which is a great help.

Cons: Can't make work orders in bulk which is a bit of the headache when you want to create same work order for 171 different locations.

Overall: Tracking of all work orders that were previously logged in via different channels. Tracking of time spend on each work order. Long term I can see that this software will not only make my job easier but wil allow me as well to save some monies.

Cons: I don't like that their is a Premium version of the software for more $. I know that just about any software or property maintenance software offers an upgraded version that includes more features or benefits. It's pretty simple, the Premium subscription has features that would make most people say "Oh the heck with it, I'll pay the additional fees" even though it feels like you should get all of the features in my opinion.

Pros: I have recently inherited a mid sized manufacturing site with lots of process and plant equipment. Site was proper old school with paper maintenance records (where they existed..!). this Software is super easy to setup and get going. Our Operational managers love the Mobile app for raising WO's. they can capture an image of a problem and send it direct to the team. Support was a concern initially (We are in Scotland, UPKEEP in west coast USA) No issues with support what so ever. Guys are super attentive at getting back with answers to questions or up coming features. Great Customer Experience. Well Done guys

Cons: Different reports would be nice which i believe the guys are working on.
Additional fields to allow a more configurable request form.

Overall: Stream line jobs coming into the engineering department.

Pros: UpKeep has sped up my job tracking and has increased profitability by being able to see both labor and part expenses quickly. It has also freed up my time as an owner, having instant live info available for several jobs at my fingertips. It has freed up labor time for my workers in the same way, instantly knowing who, what , when, where, and how a project is going, no need to "go looking" for answers. The photo option keeps EVERYONE on the same page as to how something needs to be or was done, The app is very user friendly for me and my employees. The simplicity makes it easy to use and navigate. Customer support is top notch and Very fast. There is always someone available to help or answer questions.

Cons: UpKeep has very little cons if any in my book, I just wish I had time to take benefit of more of its options. I do feel its a little expensive for my small business, but I am seeing it pay for itself the longer we use it.

Overall: More time and income and less headaches!!

Pros: The program itself is pretty simple. It has been great for tracking purposes & the work orders from Upkeep that we leave in resident apartments are professional & informative.

Pros: Love the mobility of this program working off of mobile devices is great for how we use it. I have student employees who live with their phones, and this helps get the information to them quickly and they can take that information and run with it. Customer Service has been one of the greatest things about this program!!!!

Cons: Would love to be able to copy work orders from the desk top. It can be done from mobile device, but I use both as the admin, and that feature would help me.

Cons: Need more filters to be applied in order to flow this software like water especially when you are working for a company and need to get specific results / data. I strongly recommend to add "Closed Date (when the Work Order being Closed)" at least on Top Priority Basis to get more oriented results. I ask for the same back before when i started using this software but till now nothing is being done. Hope it would be considered.
