From beginning to purchase we have been satisfied. The sales group presenting to us was up front from the start which was important to us. We are a very eager business and are sure of the decisions we make. The ability to jump over the theatrics of multiple tedious discussions, pre-demo, to allow us to truly see KPA's benefits from the start, easily put KPA's product as the front runner as we worked through multiple EHS Software providers. Much appreciation for the transparency.

Pros

Personal interactions from the Sales rep. \[sensitive content hidden\] was very easy to work with, forward with KPA's abilities, and clear on the information we needed to make our decision to purchase.

Cons

What could easily become a very strong selling point for your entire sales team is if the SDS module came standard with the platform. SDS management can be a bear, and costly for no reason. This would be a very strategic move for KPA to include this standard with the platform as it is a must in general industry, yet so costly for minimal viewership of the actual SDS's. You could easily make a Safety professionals day by not making them pay for this separately and needing to convince Executive management it's necessity.

Our experience with KPA has been 5-star; from onboarding, to support, to having our organizational needs heard and responded too is something that is valuable to us. KPA has been curious about our needs and open to product improvements.

Pros

We love the ability to curate our trainings, forms, and other critical organizational information in a way that fits out unique industry and needs. The level of customization is why we made the switch!

Cons

Form building can be repetitive and some level of default settings would be a value add.

We needed customization in our training, forms and documents. KPA Flex stood above other EHS software in a way that allows the end user to build what is needed into their platform without other product features that are not necessary.

### "User Friendly and Great Customer Service"

Pros

We have many users with different types of computer backgrounds. Some user are professional while others are beginners. KPA is user friendly and on the first day of deployment, one user said. "The system is self explanatory and very easy to follow." When I have an issue arise, the customer support staff is very fast in responding and quick with a possible solution. There are no "voting buttons" to get something resolved.

Cons

I am not able to pull action items (follow ups) from one source and do a dive into where they came from. How many were from an audit, incident, investigation, inspection, etc. I was told this is in the works.

Pros

KPA allows me to not only pull from a large resource of training courses and documents, but I can also customize them to our company's needs. The resources and flexibility that KPA offers are its two biggest draws.

Cons

The only con with KPA lies in certain functionality; when a report is pulled with parameters, unless the results are opened in a new window, clicking back on the browser will reset the search. So, it's vital to remember to open everything in a new window when searching in the manner as to avoid having to enter all the filters in the search again.

Very positive. I particularly like working with Casey, and \[sensitive content hidden\] is very nice.

Pros

KPA Flex's strongest attribute is its versatility. You can take one of its features and adapt and customize it to do anything from simple to incredibly complex.

Cons

I like to work out of something more of a spreadsheet format and I don't see that as possible within KPA. Admittedly, though, that's simply personal preference.

SmartSheet is another very versatile option, but as the safety team's responsibilities have grown, we outgrew it as every process had to have very complicated workflows, and organizing hundreds of cases became too extreme of a task.

Overall, my experience has been phenomenal from using the mobile app to training program.

Pros

I like how easy and accessible training videos are on how to use the program on Youtube. Arlo is amazing at answer and helping me out on any questions I have.

Cons

Haven't found any issues yet. I have been enjoying all the challenges and user-friendly videos on YouTube.

Decent, I was voluntold to be the admin and I have learned alot using it, as well as have dived into creating areas we did not know KPA had.

Needs password protected areas, customer support is lacking, so I have to use the community alot.

So far KPA has been a huge success and has been a cost savings as well as a time saver.

Pros

KPA is easy to use, and has a lot of good tools to help our safety department. In the past we used spread sheets for everything, and this has really lightened the load.

Cons

Initial roll out felt rushed by KPA, that area could be better.

Cons

Not as feature rich as other EHS applications. KPA is fast to load to and to make changes but you have a bit less control over what you're able to do.

It is great, and I would recommend KPA to anyone, especially anyone that has employees out in the field and away from their home office. It has been a great to help improve our communication with our employees

Pros

It is easy to use and set up for the entire company. Also the training aspect is awesome. Since every one of our employees has an account, we are also utilizing KPA as a way of communicating to our employees and gathering information back from the on many other topics other than safety.

Cons

It takes a minuet to get your head wrapped around how the forms work when you go to start creating your own, but once you get it KPA is really easy to use.

Reason for choosing Novara Flex

Having the customizable training platform included was the thing that ultimately pushed us over but if I would have realized the full functionality of the system I would have jumped at it a lot faster.

Pros

I like the ability to review data all in one location. We have been able to make many forms paperless and that makes storing and finding documents easier. Also there is the ability to take data from other sources and automate information.

Cons

Depending on the package you purchase, not all features are available. If you don't need some of these features than it is not a con. The way KPA is structed you pay per employee profile. Even if the employee doesn't ever need to log in or not required to. Now if you are a company that does not have a safety program or your own training material paying the extra amount would be good for you. For me my company we have robust safety programs and training material. We just need to track the employee sign offs and have the ability to ensure we have 100% completion. The only way to achieve this through KPA is to pay for each employee to have a profile. For a smaller company this a good option.

KPA software is easy to use and streamlined. Not only do we consistently hear this feedback from our workforce, but we were able to build the software from scratch and implement KPA to our workforce in only a month.

Cons

Education during the implementation process was left to the admins too much. It was a self-serve process. The videos were helpful, but we would've liked to have been able to let some of our implementation cost be earned a little more.

Pros

KPA presented the company with a uniform, unified reporting and management conduit that significantly reduced the latency in reporting. My labor hours as Management have been reduced by as much as an entire workday.

Cons

KPA software add-ons can at times be pricey. We were quoted above $10K for a single training module.

Pros

KPA Flex has a multitude of capabilities and is always improving and expanding. We have a very close relationship with the Client Success team and have very open communication. Our feedback is always taken seriously and implemented quickly when feasible. The constant improvements made by KPA Flex give us the ability to improve the user experience, tracking and reporting. And the add on features go above and beyond what is expected. The ease of use is a major plus when compared to other products on the market.

Cons

We have high aspirations for our future use of KPA Flex and what we want the system to enable our company to do. However, we find that we push the software capabilities to the limit at times. For example, setting up extravagant EHS Audit processes don't work well with the current workflow design of the system. I trust the product development team will continue to improve these capabilities for better adaptation in the future.

Setting up trainings and forms. Once they are set, things are great, but I would like to be able to import my ppts and/or forms into the system directly.

Overall, our experience with iScout has been excellent! I cannot say enough about their customer service and the flexibility of their software!

Pros

There are so many features that I love! A few of the top features are: - Acknowledgement feature. You can send out an acknowledgement that includes attachments and a short message to all your employees in just a few quick seconds! It pushes to their smartphone and also email! Very customizable, you can even request a signature! - 2020 Training Platform. iScout offers so much flexibility when it comes to creating training lessons that we have been able to utilize this tool for all our internal HR training. We can load our own slides, add voiceover files, videos, etc. They even have a built in quiz feature and automated narration. Reporting is a breeze for training too. - Forms. We utilize forms for many different purposes. From the HR perspective, we have built out Onboarding checklists that managers use as a guide to help them onboard new employees. You can customize a form in just about any way to meet your needs! love the flexibility! Additionally, iScout is extremely intuitive from an employee perspective! Nothing is hard to find and you can easily access everything you need! Lastly, the customer service at iScout is amazing! Out of all the software we use, they by far offer the highest level of customer service and go out of there way to meet your needs!

Cons

I do not have anything that I could recommend they change.

IScout has allowed Conquest to seamlessly create, manage, store, revise and retrieve every aspect of our HSE Management System. Of all programs I previously use with previous companies, IScout is the most simplistic and user friendly while presenting the most professional formatted operating system to date.

Pros

The simplicity and user friendliness of the software.

Cons

Unable to customize and tailor cosmetics of reports. Most reports look identical to each other.

Overall, KPA has made our everyday procedures much easier so that we can ensure our team is always safe. We prefer the electronic documentation compared to paper since we can no longer lose the docuements.

Pros

KPA offers many valuable features and functions that make our everyday jobs easier. KPA has great reporting features when looking back at submitted forms. In addition, KPA has a mobile application that is great for submitting forms when you have no internet connection.

Cons

There is some limitations when it comes to the training aspect like ease of use, training flexabilty, and lesson creation.

Overall I have been pleased with iScout particularly the 2020 lessons that can be created. This has allowed our department to convert virtually all of our traditionally required, instructor led courses into electronic and digital versions that can be completed by employees without having to reschedule trainings, make up missed trainings, etc. All of our safety meetings, onboarding training, and compliance training is accessible electronically and is available 24/7 for our employees.

Pros

In my role, I like the ease of use to develop and create new trainings for our employees. Training is vital for our employees and iScout has given me the ability to convert current trainings into electronic versions of them for employees to complete. Additionally, we are exploring the option of going totally electronic and digital for the onboarding of new hires at Select Energy Services and having the ability to customize training via 2020 is allowing us to make this a reality. I also like the ability it allows me to schedule and assign designated trainings for certain locations, lines of business, etc.

Cons

Currently, I do not have any cons concerning this software. As issues are presented I work close with the development team and we have developed ways to resolve any issues that I had.
