Pros: Pipedrive¿s lead management CRM is intuitive, well-organized/easily customizable, and perfect for any sized company. It¿s been extremely beneficial in helping to streamline our sales processes. I would strongly recommend enrolling in Pipedrive¿s free trial; this will let you test out any of Pipedrive¿s plans for the full thirty to get a better feel for how it works and find the correct plan for your needs. Pros Pipedrive¿s Silver plan is very reasonably priced and comes with all the CRM necessities suitable for most small to mid-sized business. Sales¿ it¿s a messy process¿ but there¿s no headache with Pipedrive. You can easily set up customized pipelines for each user as well as view and transfer deals between pipelines. The ability to utilize two separate Pipelines to test against each other has been really beneficial in helping us groom our sales initiatives and outreach tactics. You can also, send emails from directly within the CRM¿s platform; saving you time to engage more with potential clients and aids the process for keeping track of follow-up appointments and next step action items (discovery calls, presentations, proposals). Pipedrive supports over 100+ apps and integrations; we¿ve integrated Lead Liaison, our lead generation tracking application, with Pipedrive so we don¿t have to manually enter new leads, prospects, etc. from one CRM to the next. As an alternative to using the integration(s) you can also import spreadsheets directly into Pipedrive and assign deals and prospects to a specific owner. One of Pipedrive¿s best features is the option to import contacts and merge them with those already in your database so you don¿t have duplicates. This application is perfect for sales on the go; you can create custom reports to be sent to your email (for notifications on activities, emails, calls, etc.) and access your pipeline through Pipedrive¿s mobile app so you can keep up with your clients and sales team(s) at all times.

Cons: Although the Silver plan does not provide all the enriched features as the Gold, (i.e. 2-way email syncing, call scheduler, email tracking, etc.) we don¿t want to switch all of our users over to the Gold plan because only a few of them would benefit from/would need the extra features. I wish there was a way to upgrade some of our users to the Gold plan and keep the others at Silver. We use Pipedrive¿s integration with Slack to notify our team when a deal has been identified, won and/or lost. Currently, you have to use a third-party (Zapier) if you would like your notifications to be more specific and I have been unable to get Zapier to work correctly for us. I have already reached out to both sides for help but have not come to a solution (¿ so beware you may run into problems with integrations ¿ without a lot of helping support from either side).

Pros: The brilliance of Pipedrive is that by implementing the tool, Sales Managers as well as business owners will find that they simultaneously build best practice Sales Management capability into their businesses. Pipedrive really feels like it has been built by Sales Managers and Sales People, rather than by technical people, as it takes into account the things that frustrate Sales Teams the most. For example, simplicity and ease of use is essential to ensure that Sales People adopt any new Sales Tool. Pipedrive has really embraced simplicity and ease of use. One company I work with has a team of sales people mostly above the age of 50, who have successfully adopted Pipedrive. For Sales Managers, to have a tool to help them accurately predict whether their sales people are going to miss target, BEFORE it happens, is essential. Pipedrive makes it easy to setup standard sales processes. And to monitor leading measures that will predict future problems. This gives Sales Managers time to take corrective action. The tool also comes with the most powerful data import engine that I've ever worked with. So migrating legacy data into the tool is far easier than with any other tool I've worked with. All in all, I give Pipedrive a big thumbs up.

Cons: This is a minor point because it's easy to work around this problem: Pipedrive's ability to filter deal data an become frustrating as you have to setup pre-defined filters, and you very quickly get bogged down with too many filters. The workaround is to export the data into Excel and manipulate the data from there. Also, the ability to work with a pre-defined set of Products, while available in Pipedrive, is not the tools strong point. I hope to see a more refined implementation of Product capabilities in future releases. Lastly, it's important to note that the pre-defined reporting only starts to make any sense after some history of data is available. Some of the reports make sense after a few weeks of diligent use of the system by the sales team. Other reports will likely only make sense after a few months of system usage. Obviously this problem is relevant to any sales tracking system, not just Pipedrive.

Pipedrive is EXACTLY what our sales/CEO needed.

Pros: Ease of use.

Deal Rotting

Deal dollar amounts

Dragging deals from the various stages

Multiple Pipelines

Outlook Email Integration

Mobile App

Everything is customizable

File uploads

Weighted deal dollar amounts

Color coded icons for activites that are due, expired, or have not been assigned yet

emails for activities that are due that day.

Cons: Sometimes when you add a deal, you ahve to refresh in order for it to show. Also when you edit a deal and add a note for example, that deal moves to the bottom or top of the list in that various stage. It would be better if that deal stays where it currently is in that stage, even if you update something in that deal.

Overall: We used to use endless excel spreadsheets and Dropbox to keep the sales/CEO up to date. This system did not work very well and was not helping our sales team and president/ceo keep up to date on the status of contracts 'in the pipeline'. When I saw an ad on Facebook for Pipedrive, I instantly knew it would be a perfect fit for our organization. It's super easy to use All you need is a browser. No more excel spreadsheets, dropbox accounts, syncing issues etc. The sales team / CEO can add new 'deals' in just a few clicks.

When I gave my presentation to Management, they instantly "got it" once I dragged a new deal from the first stage "initial enquiry" to the second state "contact made". When I then updated the deal to indicate that a proposal had been submitted, I dragged the deal over to the "proposal submitted" stage and everyone said "aaaaahhhhhh".

Favourite Features:

1. Ease of use. - All you need is a browser and there is a mobile app.

2. Deal stages - You can drag a deal from various stages (use the default or customize with your own sales pipeline) to instantly show what stage your deal is in. You can also have MULTIPLE pipelines. For us, we have a Primary and Secondary Pipeline

3. Creating Activities / Tasks - You can assign tasks such as 'emails, lunches, phone calls, follow ups' etc and have them assigned to users. Those users get automatic email reminders the morning the task is due.

4. Indications for overdue Activities / Tasks - You can instantly see (via a green, grey, yellow or red) Icon next to each deal if you have a task that is due today, or overdue, or no task assigned yet.

5. Reporting - You can instantly see in the 'dashboard' your current sales performances such as deals won (and for how much), the dollar amount of deals in the pipeline for each week, month or quarter etc, deals lost etc.

6. Email functionality - You do not have to manually copy / paste emails into Pipedrive deals. If you use the deal specific bcc address, all information in the email is automatically entered into that deal.

7. File uploads - You can upload your presentations, proposals straight into pipedrive.

8. Customization - Just about everything is customizable.

9. Deal Rotting - Deals are highlighted in red when they are 'rotting' meaning no activity over the past X number of days.

10. Dollar Amounts - Each deal can be given a dollar amount.

Recommendations to other buyers: Love it. Works great. Knew instantly it would be perfect for us.

Pros: Email integration

Mobile app

Customization

Cons: Email integration - I would love to be able to assign an email to multiple deals.

Email flagging - I would love to be able to flag an email as important, like stars in Gmail, or have the ability to convert it to an activity.

Email on the mobile app - doesn't exist, which forces me to use my Gmail

Overall: A few months ago, I started using Pipedrive. Back then I chose Pipedrive because they were the only CRM that would allow me to create a customer field not only populate that data from a spreadsheet import, but allow me to update that same field later with some new data. I work a lot with quarterly data from the banks, so that was what won me over initially. At the time I compared it to Insightly, which does not allow updates to custom field from an import.

A few month later as my business developed, Pipedrive then added the integrated email feature. That was awesome. My business model was evolving, so I tried out Insighlty again, Soho and Trello because I knew others that were using it. While Insightly and Trello would allow you to assign emails to a deal or flow, it was troublesome. Soho doesn't allow any email assignments to a deal. I'll give them Kudos though because I paid $25 to try them out and they were kind enough to refund my money. Now I know there are more CRMs out there. And I figure some of the higher dollar ones might do everything that I want. But right now I am happy with what I am getting for my monthly rate with Pipedrive.

Is it perfect? No. It's about 85% of what I need. Pipedrive comes out with new features all the time, so I one day they might be up to 90-95% of what I need.

So here are my Pros

Email Integration - with a click of the mouse I can assign an email to a deal.

The Ability to Update Custom Data

Mobile App

Customization

Communication with Support

Cons

I could use some functionality to automate the creation of tasks as the deal moves from one stage to another. I am getting around that right now by using Automate.IO and Zapier. They both provide 5 Free automation scripts.

The mobile app does not use email. So when I am out and about, I am using my Gmail for work and then I have to do some cleanup later with tying emails to deals.

I can't flag emails. For example, in Gmail if it is an important email, I will star it so that it is a constant reminder for me to address something. It would be nice to have a feature to do that with Pipedrive. At the minimum, allow me to create an activity with the email with the click of a button.

Lack of development communication - What's being worked on? Where is the developer / user conversation. It's not required, but it would be nice.

Overall I do enjoy my Pipedrive.

Recommendations to other buyers: I love what you guys have. I use it constantly. If the email could be more then that would be great. And I'm thinking of Gmail, but being able to add Labels, Stars, folders, etc.. Right now I just have Archive. EMAIL FOR MOBILE - half the time I'm on my phone and then I have to use Gmail. Then I have cleanup later when I get back to my house or hotel.

Comments: It works! Out operation has had 3 CRMs over the past 6 years and none managed things well for a sales outfit in a construction company. (The damage that causes the agents who sometimes have long timelines in the sales process and referral process is excruciating since no CRM is adapted to offload and download data from another We like the flexibility of applying to our sales process and keeping track of each prospects stages/activities and not have to adapt to precepts that don't apply and only get in the way. It really is your CRM. The feedback from Statistics and Analytics is stimulating and encourages one to apply themselves to the system they designed thus developing better business habits which in turn gives better stats and a better view from which management can coach and serve from.

Pros: Seems kind of redundant with Review above.

Cons: It would be nice to be able to review the Activity list page by our Stages. In other words typically cycles are monthly but what is focused on at the beginning of the month is different than what is at the end of the month. For instance at the end of the month you may want to focus just on final stage folks. Another focus somebody might have is they are working a particular area and want to see what else is left on the table while there and arrange schedules accordingly. In other words just being able to organize on the Activities page by city/county can increase efficiency in the field. Your Contacts page has that option but nothing comes up in the columns for anyone. I don't know if this is a challenge with out set up by our admin. but once we have a the client sold they fall off our radar for the Deals page. We have a few milestones that include us agents which includes pumping clients for referrals and visiting with them on a anniversary date. The only way I can keep them on the radar is to use the Activity page and just label them a Deadline so I can review those by that definition. So all I use Deadline for is follow-up with clients that are purchasing or have purchased. Lastly a small but big 'thang', on the client Deals page where we have a pending activity it would be nice to click the pending activity button and the courser lands on a fresh line above the previously typed material so we can just add an update without having to click to front of material, return and arrow up to update. It's a very repetitive procedure every time you go into an activity.

Recommendations to other buyers: Repeat from above - not sure what you meant by 'others', you or somebody looking to add this CRM to their business: It would be nice to be able to review the Activity list page by our Stages. Comments: Firs of all Pipedrive took me off all the excel spreadsheet, and I used to have hundreds of them. I haven¿t taken any training, but it wasn¿t really necessary because you can learn it all by induction. I liked the colors, it¿s not polluted so it doesn't hurts my eyes. As I was not used to such a tool, it was very uncomfortable for me at the beginning, because it¿s kind of boring to write down every call you make, and every activity you do and yet remark the next step. But after few days I already got used to that. So after awhile I started to see my days yield more. I started not to lose clients or negotiations, and mistakes was reducing. It was when I realysed how Pipedrive made my routine become healthier, because now I work the same time, but I produce more and I am less stressed because I don¿t need to bring work home. I Know it¿s gonna be easy for me to find anything easily in the next day with PipeDrive, so why keep tinhking on that after work?

Pros: I really enjoyed the fact that we can format it the way we need to, like add some options or information space, etc. PipeDrive is flexible, that¿s great! I also like the graphics and results it¿s given, about the day, the week, the month and it goes on. With this I have a notion of my efficiency and I can monitor myself by this. Actually I liked PipeDrive in general. Everything is good once I haven't worked with almost nothing like it. And the closest tool I used was very terrible. I can tell that the idea of organizing a company as the Mother and others as sisters was really smart. I used to have problems with that, so it made my life easier. At last I assure that the filters are helpful, but it could be better in some ways. But I really do recommend it at all. It definitely changed my routine work for better, much better.

Cons: I don't think it¿s a bad thing, maybe something to be improved in Pipedrive, are the filters or results/statistics, it was good if we could export that to excel. I don't know if the key user can do that (I¿m not) but if only him, then I suggest to give this opportunity to all users. The only thing I don¿t think was positive about all that is the minucius way that now our bosses are controlling our work and results. Of course this ended to be a problem about the person, and I don¿t know what Pipedrive could do about it, even though I think it is important to say. The last thing I wish I could change is the timing. Every activity has to have at least 15 minutes of during. I wish this could be more flexible, or even better, an idea: somehow we could add an activity and press a button saying we are starting that activity; Then when we finish it, we press end, and it calculates the time we used to do that. For me it sound better and more realistic. But Please, don't take off the option we already have of simply put it as done after it is done already.

Recommendations to other buyers: As an advise I would say that if you persist, after some short time you will see some great results. Another advise is: Try to bring something like that to your personal life, it also helps. Schedule a time for you family, for your joy, for your spirituality and you¿ll see that in the end was not time that was missing, but organization. Now a type for the administrators of PipeDrive, you could put some space where we, users, could put our goals and make something motivacional about that. Like: You are reaching this goal X, came on, it¿s only missing Y, let¿s do this or that! Maybe give also some tips for selling or improving your sales, things like that. Then PiPedrive would be a full widget.

Pros: REPORTING -- I love the dashboard reporting and how flexible it is to deep dive into sales agents by any specific time scale.

ACTIVITY LISTS -- This is the killer feature. I just put in an activity for next year against an organisation and it then forget about it. It will then remind me on that date that I need to do something.

Cons: Missing Features:

1) Many - many contact relationship. Currently limited to one contact to one site. This doesn't work in my field as many of my contacts own multiple sites with site specific deals.

2) Plotting the customer locations on a map and providing navigation to them. I have to use badger mapping for that.

3) A function that can batch de-duplication. The excellent customer support referred me to a third party provider.

Overall: It's amazing when a little bit of a process change can create a visible improvement to your business. Pipedrive has done that.

Even the iOS app is excellent. eg: If I call someone via the app, after the call is completed it will prompt me to document the details.

Its easy to use deal screen helps me track the progress of the sales force.

But, for me its hidden gems are the reporting and activity lists:

Pros: Pipedrive provides a simple, fast interface that pulls all information relevant to a deal into a single view. This includes the main contact, other contacts, price and product information, activity history, and coming activities. There is a sidebar that you can customize with specifics for your business, such as names of competitors that the prospect buys from, size of their budget, customer phase (are they a prospect, a new customer, or a renewing customer?), etc. All of this info can be easily updated on the fly, so a sales rep can focus on selling rather than on fitting a sale into a software system. The mobile apps provide similar functionality, so it's easy to use Pipedrive out of the office. Pipedrive is easy to customize, so getting started does not require a lot of effort or training. This is ideal for startups and small firms, as well as for independent sales reps.

Cons: There's nothing really bad about Pipedrive, and it keeps getting better. I would like to see it add customizable series of actions that can be added with a single click, so the rep does not have to manually add repetitive steps. For instance, it would be good to add a series of follow up steps that must be done after a sale closes, rather than keeping a separate list in other software.

Pros: First of all, simplicity. As a small startup company without many resources (time or money), Pipedrive's simple and minimal setup helped us hit the ground running, and we will always be grateful for that. Pipedrive's email integration is absolutely awesome, especially when integrated with Google Apps which removes the need to BCC the CRM, and logs inbound email messages. Once the initial adoption was done we began leveraging Pipedrive's API, which is very complete, easy to use and well documented. The API compensates for all the features that are missing and can be found in other "bigger" CRMs. There's nothing you can't achieve with some development effort.

Cons: The UI is beautiful and modern, which makes usability great in the beginning. Once we started to grow our business, we encountered many UI performance problems that hurt productivity a bit. Especially when dealing with large deals involving a lot of people or long email threads.

Recommendations to other buyers: - Learn about the API as early as possible. Pipedrive pricing, and the fact that their API is so well documented, made it a no-brainer for us to spend on customizing the process based on the API. - Pipedrive is not a nicer looking version of Salesforce. Sales teams are used to salesforce and its terminology (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts Contacts) and sometimes they find Pipedrive approach (which is much more logical) a bit confusing (Deals, People, Organizations). Don't fall into mapping the two concepts. Learn the ideas behind Pipedrive and train the team accordingly. - Pipedrive supports multiple "Pipelines" at the same time. Try to define your sales process as a set of separate processes represented by Pipelines, and not as one big funnel. We had 3 pipes, and I can see us using more. - Don't try to base your statistics on Pipedrive's reporting. API integration with other dashboarding tools will probably make you and your boss happier.

Pros: Simplicity

Overall: I expect not a lot of people will give you a comprehensive review in this field. Either it will be someone who is not really using it, or someone using it and not having the time to properly describe it (we are all at work after all).

I will focus on one thing - the bulk stage edit and automatic emailing update API. Basically, pipedrive lacks a tool that allows me to sync my leads with my Gmail account so that when that first email is sent, they move into the first stage (or whichever). In relation to this, I also would like to recommend installing a more appropriate exporting tool for tasks. I cannot seem to get the emails out of pipedrive for the life of me. There is only this one exporting utility in the general settings submenu (why not on the homepage or under activities?).

Recommendations to other buyers: It's good to keep an overview, but not for in-depth account management.

Vendor Response

by Pipedrive on January 30, 2017

Hi Anatoli,

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, this is always welcome!

Unfortunately in Pipedrive natively you can¿t change the deal stage based on sent emails. However, you can for example do this with Zapier and Gmail. So for example when a new email is sent via Google, you can have this updated a deal in Pipedrive, the guys from Zapier can help you set this up if necessary: https://zapier.com/zapbook/gmail/pipedrive/

Currently our team is working on adding the exporting option from the list in your activities. Once this is finished in a couple of months amongst with other updates to the lists in Pipedrive, you will be able to filter your activities and export them out from your activity list view. Email exporting is currently not in the plans. However, since you basically copy your emails from the mail client to Pipedrive, all your original emails are still inside your email client to find.

Have a great day and kind regards,

Mike

Cons: Live chat with customer service was great when we were on free trial, not sure if its a coincedence but once we started paying and using it the response time has changed from minutes to hours or days. It doesnt manage people well if their email address is not in there - default is it creates a new person which means lots of duplicates (with weird names automatically created from email address)or the other option is Pipedrive turn off this function by request and it does nothing - our previous crm had unassigned email where all the emails sat until you created a new person or assigned an existing one - it was the main method we used for adding contacts to the crm so not having it is a problem, we will have to work out some way of tagging existing contacts and then go through weekly and filter out non tagged ones and fix them so theres a workaround but its annoying for something i thought would be a pretty common issue.

if you click on an activity in your activitiy list it gives a pop up screen to edit the activity and only allows you to see info about that activity not anything on the company, if you go from the company page and click on the activity is better but n

Comments: We are always looking for good, simple, and affordable tech tools to make our clients¿ lives easier. For people who don¿t take naturally to technology but need a CRM solution, finding Pipedrive makes for a good day. It¿s apparent that a lot of thought went into what it takes to easily manage the backend of a sales business. Pipedrive is making this process a lot simpler for us.

Pros: We like simple and the streamlined dashboard was easy to understand. We are also busy people so we were quite pleased to be able to completely set up the sales activities and import our customers in under an hour. We had one question during set up so we dropped a line into the chat box. Within a couple of minutes, we had our answer giving us a good feeling about their support staff. It¿s completely customizable so our workflow tasks (activities) were simple to add once we knew exactly what process each client would go through from initial contact to sale and follow up. The calendar option let us put dates to each task and all the notes we added were date stamped, a feature we found quite useful. We also liked that the program automatically puts the current tasks on the top of the list and has a color coding to show what¿s not due yet, what¿s currently due and what is overdue. We are also using the Zapier integration to connect to MailChimp for managing our customers¿ email communications. There a lot of other integration options, too which we may add in the future. After trying some fairly expensive solutions, my clients loved the free trial option although the price to upgrade is quite affordable.

Cons: My biggest concern is that support is only available Monday through Friday during office hours although they do have a fairly extensive library of tutorials.

Comments: We're using Pipedrive to manage all our customer activities (phone-calls, mails, schedules, contact-information, etc.) so that not only sales but all others never loos track of a customer journey. Despite the fact that this tool is almost intuitive you also can easily manage complex customer organizations. It simply reflects nearly all circumstances to record and plan topics when working with customers. An ideal tool for the entire pipeline management where simple drag and drop features help to manage stages of a project. Pipedrive eases the salesman work dramatically!

Pros: I personally found it quite useful when writing mails to use the option adding an automated bcc customer ID. The result is that you mail appears in your pipeline- and customer-history as well. To set up different pipelines make it easy to also manage different events. The scheduler activity gives you on all devices (PC, Smartphone, etc.) an alert to remind to your planned activities. Mobil access to all pipeline features - a very nice App! All contact data, history etc. at hand when preparing a customer visit or call.

Cons: - Statistical features seems to need rework. - writing an email to a contact of an account organization you need to consider to attach the customer-ID from the deal-level to the bcc-field in the mail in order to have that mail then in the customer history - lost accounts have been moved to a separate pipeline

Recommendations to other buyers: Forget complex and expensive CRM Tools. I've seen many of them (see my history in LinkedIn). This is the first one which does what it is supposed for - make the salesman live easy!

Pros: Having used Salesforce in many of my prior roles, the thought of implementing it at the start-up I am now running was a headache. We simply don't have the need for robust CRM capabilities yet, so when I found Pipedrive, we decided to give it a shot. We began with 30 wholesale clients and have since grown to over 2000. I am now managing both our "boutique/specialty store" channel (1000 stores) as well as my key account pipeline with major retailers, all in one place. It is SO EASY to use. The whole program is just incredibly intuitive and easy to pick up without any demos at all, to be honest. I have since dug into the resources they make available and am now getting even more use out of it. Ease of use and the user interface as a whole are just phenomenal. Finally, affordability - we have started out with the entry level account but can easily grow from here.

Cons: There have been maybe 2-3 more complex reports / data exports I have wanted to run over the past 2 years but was unable to - just wasn't a capability of Pipedrive. But we always found workarounds, and it seems like a very rare sacrifice for what you get in a streamlined, user-focused CRM experience.

Overall: Systematized and automated my sales process/pipeline!

Pros: Visual, drag-and-drop, flexibility to customise pipelines, stages and fields.

Cons: Having to change " deal" to " Deal" every time is annoying (it's a title so should be upper case).

Overall: I chose Pipedrive not just to manage all my deals in one place, but also to manage practically all other activities (projects) too.

The flexibility is provides to add new fields is SO helpful. Starting a new business, I'm capturing 20-40 new contacts per week - I added fields to each contact (where met and the date) so I can keep track of who's who instead of adding that information to the note for each one.

Pipedrive provides me a single system that is

- visual: clearly manage progression from start to finish

- drag-and-drop: so quick to update stages or move to another pipeline

- flexible: I customise pipelines & their stages titles to set out project progression too

- automated: setting timescales on each stage draws my attention to deals I that require

checking or action taking

- supported: I needed 2 questions answered, and the support was perfect (and immediate)!

I'm recommending this to everyone I meet to quickly and easily manage their sales (and projects) without the need for any great effort or distraction.

I'm setting up sales training courses and will be embedding use of Pipedrive into them: consistently managing pipelines is one of the most important activities for any salesperson.

Recommendations to other buyers: It would be really helpful (and really efficient) to have the option to be able to set default values on the fields for new items as they're added. For example. 1. Change automatic additions to titles Change the added text: " deal" to " Deal" or " Project" or " Anything Else" (maybe add an incremental count [number each client's deal Deal 001, Deal 002, etc.] : 2. Having the option to set a field value when adding a new item. Being able to set it to a fixed default value or the last value used (same as the last item added of that kind). E.g. I add all contacts met at an event at once. Having the 'where met' and 'when met' fields default to the last item added would automatically complete them for me every time.

Pros: We have customers buying our products from all around the world and keeping a record of their contact details and purchase history is very easy with the help of Pipedrive. When we get a new customer sign in to a contract with us, our marketing team who runs another pipedrive campaign just forwards the deal to us and we only have to save it to our database and it will be added to the existing customers list. We then add activities to this deal to stay connected always. They are as follows, setting a feedback enquiry after one week, if receive a feedback set another activity to let the feedback team to reply to the email etc.. This can keep everything from getting a lead to inviting a customer to come back to our service again organized well. With the help of pripedrive we see our customers are happy how we treat them even after closing the sales.

Cons: There is no facility to add an auto responder when someone answers to our feedback inquiry. Sometimes the web browser application freezes and takes more than 10 minutes to recover.

Simple, Intuitive, Efficient

Comments: Pipedrive is a simple CRM that has everything you need, and nothing that you don't. As an agile business coming-to-market, we have a small team and limited resources, but are experiencing fast growth. We needed a way to track, cultivate, and maintain sales leads, but we didn't have months to dive into a robust software. I did a Pipedrive trial and a Salesforce trail side-by-side and couldn't help but to always turn to Pipedrive. Our main needs were to: - Insert lead contacts - Track process and staging - Forward email or communications to CRM - Create activity alerts and reminders That is it. Everything else, the bells and whistles, charts and graphs, mothership of sales accessories was merely overwhelming. We don't have time to watch endless tutorial videos, and even when we did, other systems still didn't feel intuitive. Pipedrive was a breath of fresh air in my CRM search. The platform is elegant, intuitive, and has the perfect functionality to meet my agile sales needs.

Pros: Clean and pleasant user experience. I use Trello often, and the functionality of Pipedrive is similar in that I can drag and drop cards into different stages. The visual progression is very helpful, while each contact can house all of the information that I need to keep things moving. I also really like that I can BCC my conversations into my pipelines so that my partner and I can keep everything in one place. I like the add-on apps such as Leadfeeder and Mailchimp.

Cons: Do you have a Gmail plug in so that I can check a box to send to CRM? I integrated that feature when trying Salesforce, but always wanted to swap out destinations to Pipedrive. If you don't have that, I guess that would be considered a con. Not that BCC'ing is sooo difficult ;) I think a "Graveyard" type pipeline would be helpful. We want to hold onto our inbound lead contacts, but I don't want them cluttering my active Pipelines, nor do I want to assign an activity to them. It would be nice to be able to keep them in the system without archiving them. I've created a makeshift solution by just having a Cold Leads Pipeline, but there aren't really stages and I don't have pending activities for them.

Pros: Pipederive is a great solution to sales force for small & medium companies. It gives a great overview of leads. Registration of customer is very simple and organized in clients and companies. Negotiations are organized into pipelines and one can have a single or multiple pipeline. Each pipeline can be divided into stages according to the client's situation and each stage contains the deals that reproduce a negotiation, budget or potential sale ready. One can manage all potential customers on one screen, in a visual and practical way, without missing deadlines or getting confused at what was said

Cons: There is nothing significant drawback of this software. Developers are constantly coming up with improvements. The only thing it lacks is non integration with social media like LinkedIn. Also outlook integration is much needed. This software lacks to follow up on an activity if you do not have an open business, Pipe drive obeys business, so if you look for it as a CRM it is not very practical

Pros: Pipedrive is super quick to setup and customize to your particular workflow. It syncs and integrates with Google products like a dream and just plain works. It's the sort of CRM that doesn't get in the way, lets you work where you want to work (I prefer my inbox rather than within the CRM), but still lets you get at all the data and stats you need super quick and easily. It's just great.

Cons: I've never been able to get full inbox syncing to work properly. Instead I just use the BCC function which serves the purpose, and allows me to be selective about which communications get synced vs. which aren't needed. Sometimes though an email won't automatically link to a deal, even though the address being corresponded with is associated with the deal in Pipedrive. This is a bit annoying, but happens infrequently enough that it doesn't bother me.

Overall: It lets me keep an eye on my sales pipeline quickly and easily without requiring me to interrupt my normal workflow to keep everything logged and up to date. I couldn't manage my business without it.

Pros: It is intuitive and easy to configure and use.

Cons: The system does not integrate with Outlook Calendar, the more we use Pipedrive, the more clear and serious this weakness becomes to us. I can not and will not recommend that other Property & Casualty Insurance Brokerage operations make the investment in this software until Pipedrive provides this most basic integration. This weakness in the Pipedrive system is such a huge disconnect for Pipedrive. Pipedrive's customer support acts as though they could care less, and as though we are the only people in the world that need this function. I can only assume that others before me did a better job of discovering this weakness (before making the purchase), and for that reason they elected not to make the purchase the software. Everyone in my industry LIVES in their Outlook calendar - I strongly encourage Pipedrive to figure this out.

Overall: Do not purchase this software if you need Calendar integration with Outlook.

Hello Dana,

That is very valid feedback, you are right when you said that you are not the first person to point out this limitation in regards to Outlook Calendar. I can assure you that our support does their best and does care about our customers. We now have Outlook calendar integration in the roadmap but, at the moment, we don¿t yet have a concrete ETA.

One option is to sync your office365 or Outlook with Google and then sync Google with Pipedrive via settings -> personal -> connections.
Then when you enable the Google Calendar and Contacts sync in Pipedrive it will actually also sync your contacts and activities to your office365 contacts and calendar.

Another option would be to use a third party application to enable the sync between Pipedrive and Outlook: http://www.pipedriveoutlooksync.com/
This application is not developed by Pipedrive and will have extra costs.

Again, thanks so much for your feedback.

Pros: It's amount is low per month per user, and that's pretty low considering the many options it has available. It also connects to Zapier which means that you can integrate just about anything with it, we funnel all our leads from all over into this system, across 10 different programs. We love the option for custom fields and built-in integrations with google products. It's very simple and easy to use.

Cons: This is really only for lead management, as it's lead capture abilities are severely limited. They do have a form building option, but it looks terrible and is incredibly primitive. We are forced to use another service to design and embed beautiful and custom lead forms, then feed all the responses into pipedrive via zapier (pipedrive does have some sort of php callback options to submit leads, but you have to be a very experience programmer to understand it). Once you begin dealing with large quantities of leads, the loading of the data can be excruciating.

Overall: All our leads in one, easy-to-manage, location.

Pros: The way it helps to manage the deals and the prospects. The activities helps a lot to understand what to next with a prospect. The reports helps out to see the status of total deals closed from various marketing strategies.

Cons: I like everything about PipeDrive.

Overall: I have ben using Pipedrive form about 2 years now and have seen a significant improvement, when it comes to manage the prospects. Pipedrive made it really easy to move deals within various stages and pipelines. It helped our team to be on track with the prospects and it helped close the deals easily.

The features provided by Pipedrive makes it really easy to use and a great software. Most of the following features are best to use:

Pipeline and Stages

Deals

Organization/Contacts

Activities

Statistics

Mail (Bcc email functionality)

Custom fields

Drag and Drop feature within Pipelines

etc.

I would really like to best rating to this CRM as it has helped us closing deals effectively.

Recommendations to other buyers: Ofcourse, its a best sales tool for small to medium level organisations. You can manage your sales better by using PipeDrive. It comes with a per user license and can be upgraded or downgraded anytime. Helps with overall reporting aspects of sales.

Pros: The software prompts me to add a new activity (email, meeting, call, etc) after I mark another activity complete. It visually reminds me if there are leads or clients that do not have a next step applied to it. This make a lot of sense to a getting-things-done approach. We do a lot of mobile responsive websites and monthly marketing with a lot of moving pieces, and it's great to have confidence that we know what is coming next.

Cons: I sometimes wish there were a calendar view. I also wish I could add screenshots into emails ¿ I find myself having to go back to Google Inbox for this (and bcc-ing the pipedrive email to sync with the contact).

Overall: I've tried a lot of CRMs in the past, and would always end up going back to using basic contact software after inevitably they created more work for me than they helped. Pipeline is the first CRM I've used that helps me feel at peace, knowing that each lead has a next step applied to it. I also use a lot of custom pipelines to track recurring customers, contractors, onboarding and large complex projects. The sync with my email and calendar makes it also easy for me to keep all conversations organized, and all meetings in line with appointments booked with Calendly. Since I'm currently managing sales, projects, and 10 contractors, Pipeline helps me keep everything going without anything slipping through the cracks. I couldn't have scaled my business by 150% this year without Pipeline.

Recommendations to other buyers: It becomes most useful when synced to email.

Pros: Ease of use, simplicity, intuitiveness. Obviously been thought through by sales people.

Cons: I wish it linked my Meetings into Outlook without having to go through Zapper.

Overall: Having wasted more than a week trying to set up the supposed leading brand of CRM, you know the one beginning with Sales....., I was recommended to try PipeDrive and although I made a simple error mapping the fields to my spreadsheet the first time, I was still up and running within a couple of hours. Quite amazing! The good thing is that if you make a mistake like I did, you can undo the import immediately! WHAAAT?! Yeah right?! So easy, and self explanatory. I have been using PipeDrive for about 5 months now and am amazed every day that it is so intuitive. Linking email is automatic so that can't be easier, and I love the reminders for Activities every day, and also being able to easily make notes on calls, and schedule the next action. I did also have cause to ask support a question, and was blown away by the level of support I received instantaneously via the chat, and even after that I got emails with screen shots of the steps I needed to take to do what I wanted. Really impressed. This CRM has been designed by people who actually KNOW what is needed in CRM, not just a random amount of data put together that you have to figure out what to do with. It's so easy to set up YOUR specific steps in the Pipe, and is so intuitive it's a wonder someone didn't do this before!

So far I have recommended PipeDrive numerous times within our firm, and will continue to do so. I don't need to look anywhere else! Thanks PipeDrive! Keep up the great work!

Pros: I am in to the second year now using Pipedrive, but I believe I still have to explore lot more there. All the features I used so far are extremely time saving. When I gave it a try to use Pipedrive an year back, I was just doing all the emailing and adding activities manually. But after a successful year, I am automating all this process with just a couple of clicks. I go in to the activities page and do everything from there with out going to each individual page. I am happy so far using this CRM but still I never clicked on a lot of things on the dashboard and I believe those are all going to be handy next time for me.

Cons: It takes comparatively longer time learning how to effectively use Pipedrive. I am sad that I didn't use all the features for first 4 months of using it because it needed a lot of time to learn everything. Sometimes when adding a new contact to an existing deal, if the same name already exists in the deal, it doesn't notify.

The software is functional but the reporting capabilities are limited with respect to projections.

Pros: The software is easy to start using and inputting data. The reporting ability to track the progress and great follow up feature is fantastic

Cons: I upgraded the software to platinum a several times the cost of the basic version just to use the sales forecast tool. this tool works less than 10% of the time. The ability to print reports or send report items is virtually non existent and in many of the reporting features that are there you cannot combine pipelines. The customer support option is difficult. It seems the support representatives do not actually know how to use the software and cannot answer any questions. Instead they send links for self help. As soon as you click not the link the help conversation disappears and you have to wait several minutes in a cue and then start all over again with a new customer support rep. The features do not all work on apple products ( computers) unless you use google chrome or firefox

Pros: I love Pipedrive, the card view is fantastic allowing me to move deals from progress stages with a simple drag and drop. Or if the deal needs to live in another "pipe" I can simply change to one of my other pipes. The tasks keep me on track with each deal and the stats allow me to see my progress each week.

Cons: The stats are good, however I would love it if there was an automated report generated rather than having to check the stats out manually each week. Also, syncing with my emails means that I can keep all the info relating to my deal in one place. But not all the emails are recognised as belonging to the specific deal, so before I close the deal off, I have to manually search for the emails, then for each individual email I have to select the deal to link it to! This is monotonous to say the least! It would be so much quicker if I could simply select all the emails relating to the deal in one hit and then link to the deal once.

Simply fantastic, has changed the way we operate and allows us to help many, many more clients

Comments: Overall it is a great system and the pro's certainly outweigh the cons by a long way. The day to day functionality is just superb, the best I have used and I have worked in a sales environment for nearly 20 years.

Pros: You can set it up to suit your business. It's very flexible and has allowed us to produce a great deal of good data to allow us to change and adapt our business. Anyone who uses the system is kept right up to date with accurate information about our clients and what stage the sale is at. It also allows us to quickly recognise deals that have little or no potential so we are not wasting time and staff resources with no return.

Cons: The site reporting is good but could be improved as well as the export reports. It would be great to have the flexibility to select specific fields to include or exclude from reports but as it stands this is not possible. It also doesn't include contacts when exporting data for deals which means it is not possible to generate a deal based mailing list, i.e. deals that were closed in the last 3 months due to lack of funds. This makes it difficult to generate e-mail campaigns from the system.

Pros: After using numerous sales tools in the past, I came across Pipedrive and immmediately fell in love with the convenient Pipeline view. Finally there was an easy way for me to organize multiple projects completely independent from each other! Our company has different divisions that don't have much in common. Differentiating between them is key.

I also like the fact that you can add an (unlimited) amount of custom fields for deals, organizations, and people. This is especially great when you need to capture data that is specific to your industry. I can also specify whether this info is important and should be displayed prominently on a deal/company/person or not.

2 Way Mail Sync is working nicely and smartly links incoming emails to deals, once you made an initial connection.

Cons: Sending emails from Pipedrive is slow, takes a lot of time to display in the deal, leaving you wondering whether the email was even sent. Uploading attachments also take about 3 approaches in my case until it finally works. That's quite cumbersome and put me in a bad spot a couple of times because I forgot to add attachments.

The lack of natives VOIP Integration is also unfortunate and very important to us.

This is not really a critique about Pipedrive, but I m going to say it anyway: per-user pricing is high! At least give me a few users whether I use them or not, but it's not cool having to share users.

Pros: everything is sync with my google calendars and it is transparent across other sales members in my team, so my daily task and appointments can be monitored. Storing of notes and able to email and put ref attachments to my deals is a plus as well.

Cons: The app could use with a little bit of improvements, in terms of adding the option to be able to do more compare to the desktop version, so adding new deals and task to my existing clients can be easier, by duplicating an existing deal and etc. It would also be nice, if it can detect all the call i make to clients who are within the pipedrive database, instead of me searching form Pipedrive to make a call.

Overall: Lets not kid ourselves, Sales is a numbers game, and when it come to setting up several appointments a day, to follow up task, and to consistently hit your to do list everyday, to bring it closer to the closing is not only exciting, but very motivating. If there is one thing I can say about Pipedrive, is it should be renamed to SaleDrive! as it is sales driven, task & result oriented, and you can see everything in terms of performance to make sense of your numbers and sales conversions. Pipedrive should be a tool that all sales person should use, no matter what you are selling! Its my bible! its my daily bread, its my life. Thank you Pipedrive!

Pros: Our business needed an "all in one" program to project manage, track work time, manage payments, upload files and images, track sales, email clients, and more. Pipedrive also integrates with other apps and programs that we use, for instance, CompanyCam, Gmail, MailChimp, etc. There were many other programs that cost so much more and were so complicated. We wanted a customizable program that had great functionality, but didn't cost a fortune, AND was easy for all of our team members to learn and use. This program was built for the novice and pro in mind. It's designed as a CRM, but fully customizable for other types of processes. Customer Service & online tools and tips are also excellent. Pipedrive fit the bill! Very satisfied company using this program!

Cons: Not much. The sorting functions for contacts are by first name only. I reference jobs by last name, so this took a little bit to get used to. It's something they are going to change, though.

Overall: Customizable, easy to learn, easy to use, versatile, app & software integration, great customer services, online tutorials.

Pros: -The price point is very good compared to the rest. This is a great solution for small to medium size teams.

-Simplicity. Very intuitive.

-Ease of use. Pretty much self explanatory.

-Ease of setup. Some reading needs to be done but is as simple as it gets without the need of a 3rd part consultant.

-Customer service.

Cons: More filters would be nice. Filtering by team members, client name, type of business can be tricky sometimes. Sometimes its easier to download and filter using excel which would be nice to see in future releases.

Overall: Great CRM for small to medium sized teams. Requires little experience and is very easy to use and setup. There are a ton of videos explaining setup and proper use and customer service is always willing to help out.

For me this is the easiest to setup up and use of all CRMs out there. We have used others and they are either too expensive when your team starts to grow or too expensive to setup.

Using Pipedrive on your smartphone is also a pleasure to use.

Pros: There are two things I enjoy most: 1) When I first started using Pipedrive I setup a pipeline for a couple of different marketing projects. I wasn't certain what stages I would need in each pipleline, so I just did the best I could and went to work. Within a couple of weeks I had made several significant enhancements to improve the work flow. Not only was it simple to modify the stages in my pipeline, but without Pipedrive it would have taken me much longer to refine my sales funnel. And, #2 I love the visualization of moving prospects from left to right through the pipeline. At a glance, I can see how many people and which people need attention to move them to the next stage.

Cons: I don't have any negatives, but I do have a couple of recommendations. It would be great if I could either select from a series of small icons to place on the rectangles representing each prospect (deal). That would significantly increase the "at-a-glance" power of the software. Another similar option would be to have the ability to assign a pale background color to certain rectangles. Three or four colors would help immensely.

Overall: After using Pipedrive for a few months, I have found what I had been looking for. My favorite feature is the ability to drag each prospect from stage to stage in my sales pipeline. There is just something motivational about seeing a prospect move deeper and deeper into the process. Setting up actions, such as next call or appointment with a prospect is stupid simple and the notification feature is excellent. In short, it is great.

Recommendations to other buyers: I began recommending the software before I ever finished the trial period. If you are even considering it, it would be wise to accept their free trial.

Pros: Pipedrive does a great job of making sure I stay in the pipedrive world. I can send emails and email campaigns, I can make outbound dials and receive calls right in the software, I can log activity, review and customize reports and follow up on my pipeline. What I like most about Pipedrive is they make it easy to use the software and when I want to dive deeper into the details Pipedrive gives me that level of access also. Almost all of the features are customized and I just found myself feeling more and more comfortable using Pipedrive the more I continued to use it. It's very user friendly and intuitive.

Cons: There is not much I don't like about Pipedrive if I'm going to be honest. I will say the one area they need more help with is customer service. Like most of Pipedrives competitors in the space, CS isn't very responsive and when I make a phone call I typically get a vm and someone does eventually get back to me. There is a good support center and QA page I can research the things I need help with. I'm a self help / figure it out anyway kind of guy, it's always refreshing being able to talk with someone if I have a need I can't figure out or if I've spent more time then I've wanted to trying to figure out a problem. It's not a deal breaker and it's what I expected before I even started using the service. If there is an area that needs improvement, I would have to highlight this as a con. But it's not a deal breaker for me since most of the other platforms like this offer the same level of support. It's seems to be the norm.

Pros: It's super intuitive to use. It is easy to get people on board and working with it. The overview of the pipeline is really important for our business, and assisting us in getting better at creating a relationship with a customer, and hopefully in the future to nurture that relationship.

If you can work with Zendesk, then support is fast, casual and to the point.

Cons: The Reporting statistics aren't that great. The dashboard is basically worthless when you can't customize the metrics.

It's annoying to have to make reports in Excel/with a third party.

It's not really a CRM in my opinion, as I would like to have more functions for Customer Relationship management on a personal level. And I am still struggling to apply all of our data, and creating lists for e.g. Email segmenting as so on

Overall: Getting Control of our Pipeline.

Vendor Response

by Pipedrive on September 25, 2017

Hello Rasmus,

Pipedrive is a sales-management tool designed to help salespeople get more organized. Over 40 years of selling experience have gone into Pipedrive¿s design, which delivers a simple experience that just makes sense from a salesperson¿s perspective. Pipedrive reminds you what actions you need to focus on every day so that nothing ever falls through the cracks. That being said, I can confirm that Pipedrive¿s main focus has been the sales perspective and we are currently looking into ways to add more functionality in regards to the customer relationship section you are referring to.

Your comments in regards to the reporting section are welcome and we are currently also planning to add more customisation to the dashboard in the near future. Please reach out to our support (https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/) to be added as a beta tester for customized dashboard.

Thank you for the feedback!

Pros: Easy to use, intuitive, straight forward. The best Customer Support I have ever dealt with.

Cons: I have to teach each new salesperson how to set it up and customize it to our business. It would be nice to be able to provide my setup to my team members at the click of a button

Overall: I have used PipeDrive for almost 2 years. I can't say enough good things about their customer support. They are available to help you quickly, easily and without a bunch of back-and-forth. They answer their phone and the support staff really know their product.

It took a bit of setup (maybe 1 hour) for it to work the way I wanted it to, and it has been well worth it. I manage a sales team of almost 300 people. While I can't force them to use PipeDrive, the ones that do use it are my top performers.

Straight Forward...Customizable... Intuitive... Flexible... Easy to get started... Easier to master.

Once I surrendered my life and schedule to PipeDrive, my job became easy. PipeDrive tells me what to do and when to do it. It is honestly the best tool of my entire business.

Pros: Ease of use, simplicity of layout.

Cons: Nothing

Overall: As a small business, we weren't very good at tracking and chasing enquiries.

Our business is roof coatings manufacture and we sell through a dedicated approved installer network, so perhaps tracking wasn't that important.

However, as our business has grown in popularity, we received enquiries from end-user clients (all business to business), but usually just passed these to our installers - and then forgot about them.

The problem is though, that roofing contractors aren't sales people. They rarely followed up and consequently, we probably lost a lot of sales leads.

We implemented Pipedrive in January 2017. It's now Mid-March and we are currently tracing 25 deals with a combined value of £1,250,000. We wouldn't even have written them down previously! January to March is a very quiet time in the roof coatings industry.

Now, when we get an enquiry from a client, we pass it to installers, but we call them and remind them to chase the deal - AND we chase the client to make sure that they are being looked after by our installer network.

Nobody to date has complained about the follow-up, in fact, they seem to be grateful that somebody is paying attention.

But it's not just those deals we are able to track.

By setting up multiple boards, we can now record all kinds of leads, not just the high value projects we are involved in.

For example, we now track new installer enquiries, professional training course enquiries (we train surveyors) and also "supply only" enquiries we get.

Pipedrive prompts our users (there's only three of us) to make calls and follow up on deals that would otherwise possibly just die.

It took a week to make the decision to upgrade from the free trial version.

Pipedrive isn't the first system we looked at, but it is the only one that has received universal praise for ease of use within the organisation and is the only one we've kept.

Quick views giving good insights on what is in te pipeline

Sales projections and progress of the deals are easily seen

Cons: Reporting is not so good for holding sales meeting.

But the hardest part is to have the sales persons getting used to it. Especially older ones. They have to see the benefit for them and not only their boss. Ofcpirse this could be said of any CRM.

I have experienced they I knew more about the system than the support.

Batch editing requires sometime and export into xls and import it again .

Probability per deal is not possible only per stage.

Bring in an agent to have their own pipeline is not so easy to do. You need to ensure the 3rd party cannot see your own deals.

Overall: I can contact my client when it is required even when I have hundreds of leads

good value for the money, easy to use, but there's a reason it's cheap.

Pros: very intuitive, easy to use, great price, and very efficient. For sales pipeline activities specifically, this is a great product. Your employees can be trained in a day or 2, and they can be off and running. Easy to track deal interactions with the follow up screen, easy for information to be shared and accessed by various members of your team.

Cons: Limited functionality, virtually zero ability to store contacts, deals, or anything else in an intuitive list (being able to list deals alphabetically in your pipeline for example, or by most recent interaction etc.), customer service reps that are only competent enough to record your issue and forward to Latvia or Estonia or someplace meaning you're almost always waiting at least a day for any sort of follow up or resolution. Very clunky email integration, and not a good platform for customer service follow ups or as a contact database. It seems like they didn't even bother considering how information would be stored and viewed for anything beyond the sales pipeline. If it wasn't for the affordability I would've given this product a lower rating. My expectation level is tempered by the relative cost compared to more complete programs.

Overall: Easy to use, very intuitive, great price point. Limited functionality (only would recommend for basic sales pipelines and nothing else (like customer service tracking or contact storage, or email)

Recommendations to other buyers: I would only recommend this product for smaller companies pursuing or using only specifically sales pipelines. If you need to do a lot of customer interaction, run a call center, have massive contact lists, etc...consider a more versatile CRM.

Pros: Since switching to Pipedrive over two year ago , our sales process has become more effective and we have improved in the area of generating leads and managing leads. We have also effectively been able to effectively monitor every phase of our sales activity.

Pipedrive is intuitive and has a supportive customer care team via whom we get assistance whenever it has been needed on our Pipedrive. I am also an huge fan of the sales forecast feature , because it has made our prices more dynamic as we now modify our price offers to customers based on the predictive data Pipedrive provides the sales team via the SALES FORECAST feature.

Cons: I have encountered obstacles trying to upload my spreadsheet into Pipedrive before as it takes way too much time to get uploads done successfully.

Pros: Ease to adopt and makes save a lot of time, integration with emails, calendar, custom of pipe

Cons: Duplicate record management does not exist, difficult to adopt for marketing Dept

Overall: I've been using different CRM myself, and also advised different businesses in choosing the one that would match their expectation. Among others, Pipedrive is the most easy to adopt for any sales department. Both importation and exportation of data make the tool even easier to integrate with existing process step by step. Both sales people and middle management are rapidly noticing how much the solution facilitate the view on either activities, pipes, and statistics for team and individuals. The tool can be customized by non-technical users, and adjusted according to existing processes. Integration with calendar and emails are a matter of minute. The down side is that this CRM is not marketing oriented and might show limits in case of complex sales or huge number of records to synchronize. There is no consistent tool to avoid duplicates, which is annoying when synchronized with other solutions. Thus, tiers application have developed services, but without sufficient protection of data.

Recommendations to other buyers: Very sales-oriented CRM, worth to be tested

Pros: It's easy to plan appropriate communications for each prospect. If one prospect seems eager to move ahead, I can make a note to call or email the next day.

On the other hand, if a different prospect is hesitating, I can make a note to call in three weeks. If her tone of voice is frosty, I can tailor my approach as needed. Once I've made the note, I can forget about her. When Pipedrive reminds me to call again three weeks later, I have the notes about all our conversations right there in front of me. Boy, do I sound attentive and well-organized.

Cons: I'm not a tech person, but I've had to set it up myself because I'm the only person who uses it in the company. I'm sure there are things I can do, particularly making batch updates, but the idea of customizing seems overwhelming.

Overall: Pipedrive's ability to track large numbers of prospects. Thanks to the ease of record-keeping I can "remember" each discussion with each prospect, no matter how long it has been since I spoke to her or him last. I can even do it on the road.

Pros: I pay the cost of Pipedrive out of pocket, and it is so valuable to me that I don't even care that the company doesn't cover the cost. The combination of practices I've adopted from reading Jeb Blount's book on Fanatical Prospecting combined with Pipedrive to help manage those processes has been game-changing. I've gone from worrying about hitting my quotas to worrying over having too many new projects. My favorite aspect of the software is how little one needs to enter in order to get a deal going. Just contact name and deal title. Everything else can be filled in later as the deal progresses through the pipeline. I also like that I can fill in contact fields from the deal page. The mobile app is super-helpful, and saved the day for me today by allowing me to quickly review the status of a deal when a contact arrived for a surprise meeting. (I was able to surreptitiously review the deal notes to date while the contact poured a cup of coffee).

Cons: Any product has rough edges. One with Pipedrive is that calendar appointments open in modal windows. That in itself is not awful, and the real problem is that one can't click on a contact name or deal name from those model windows and be taken to the contact or deal page to review notes. Some of the reporting confuses me and seems less than intuitive, and I end up having to think through over and over again what a given report is telling me.

Pros: PipeDrive is easily the best tool ever created for Pipeline management, it save a lot of by making everything simple, you setup the system and everything will be fine. There is absolutely no complication involved in whatever task you want to accomplish on PipeDrive, the tasks can be easily created and you can get an insight into your pipeline with one glance. Not only creating tasks it is also easy to move an account from one stage to another. PipeDrive integrates beautifully with email and most of the times there is no need to create tasks. No matter how much every I try and explain, everything falls short of the simplicity and power of PipeDrive. If there is one tool which is built for perfection the PipeDrive possibly is that tool.

Cons: PipeDrive does everything that it is supposed to do, there is absolutely nothing that it doesn't cover with it's simplicity and power. PipeDrive is the best!

Pros: Easy to use, quick learning curve.

Cons: No free t-shirts and it does not make coffee for me in the morning.

Overall: I've been using pipedrive ever since I joined P2Sample about 18 months ago. (we provide global online sample to the market research community - 20 million panelist, 150+ countries). We have about 48 employees working all around the globe. I have experience using Salesforce at my last job. Pipedrive has all the functions I need to get my job done. My title is Director of Client Development and Engagement - basically, I look for new/potential clients. PD has all the tools I need to do this. While Salesforce was good, it was overkill - I don't think I ever used more than 30% of it's functions - those functions are all in PD plus more. Great customisable interface, great amazing support, and, it just works. And it works well. the price per seat is right and won't kill you if your a small company looking for a full function CRM. Very easy to use with a very fast learning curve. I'm a happy camper.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try it, you'll love it, especially if you're an experienced salesforce user. If you've never used a CRM before, more the reason to put Pipedrive on your short list of products to test.

Pros: I settled for this tool to help me manage my sales effectively. Pipedrive has not disappointed in any way. It helps me to develop better CRM software for my business which is bliss. Since I am all about lead generation and management, I can use this product to give me just that. It focuses in better and modern CRM solutions which have come to bring results in terms of sales. It is easy to use and does not have any redundant functionality to it which is convenient.

Cons: I can suggest a few things that if they were added it will favor me in terms of my needs. There should be more analytics in the system. The developers should include more analytics to help forecast sales. Also, the billing functions should improve in the sense that you will be able to analyze and track payments.

Overall: It is simple all the way. You do not require much training to get the hang of things with this tool. It integrates well with other sales tools to give a seamless solution for your sales problem. This is necessitated by the integration API and in less than 2 weeks you will have integrated the system with another sales system. It is also easy to customize with Pipedrive.

Pros: Intuitive, visually appealing, ease of use

Cons: Please, please make it easier to organize contacts with functions similar to excel. Right now its way too difficult to have to create separate searches for contacts.

Overall: My company hosco (www.hosco.com) adopted pipedrive about 6 months ago and so far we're quite happy. It really feels like the developers created pipedrive with the daily needs of the user in mind. I constantly find myself asking "can I do this on pipedrive" only to find seconds later the solution is already there. Most importantly I really like the streamlined, visual way of organizing leads. Sure in other CRMs you can drill down almost endlessly for reports and stats but you also pay for that. With pipedrive they package all the key stats and tools you need in one very easy to user interface which also has a management function. We have a big screen in our office that tracks all the sales and when one is made it lights up like crazy! I'm just now discovering the mobile app capabilities such as recording notes, and the email sync has gotten rid of the need to duplicate notes after a client call which is a real timesaver.

Overall I'm very happy with Pipedrive and have already recommended to other medium sizes business in similar fields.

Pros: Pipedrive is a visually oriented CRM that allows for the end user to track "Deals" through user defined states; from initial contact through the end, whether the deal was won, lost, or determined to be dead. Values can be associated with the deal allowing for the accounting of potential and real profit valuations. Tracking deals through the system is visual and easy to follow, and all critical demographic data associated with deals (contact information, activities, dates, etc.) is simple to enter. Various views associated with deals can be listed or represented through visual icons.

Cons: Because of my familiarity with our previous CRM, it was initiall difficult for me to make the switch. Once I "caught" the way Pipedrive worked, I learned to appreciate the various functions of the software, especially the ability to visually tract deals through stages.

Overall: With Pipedrive, I not only have a CRM database at my fingertips; I can visually track my progress with each of the deals on which I am working. It allows me to schedule my daily activities and to keep track of my activities and notes associated with each deal.

Pros: interface: the pipeline ui is self explanatory and one of the biggest point for getting it. every salesrep will understand it.

setup: easy setup and implementing in technical infrastructure

price: the price is a big plus. not to compare with enterprise software, perfect for entrance in CRM market.

Cons: features: don't get me wrong. pipedrive has tons of features and an API with pretty good extra tools. but it propably has less freedom in customizing that e.g. salesforce. this can be a good thing for newbies though.

features 2: recently it seems that some of the features of the basic plan, moved to other plans. i understand the step from an economic side, but for me as a user its a pitty.

Pros: 1. Easy to enter and edit sales data - Contact and opportunity data are easy to enter for people in sales, easy to edit them like in Excel sheet, easy to drag and drop opportunities between stages in the pipeline, no IT designed complex uneditable tables + large formulars UI as in 1st wave CRMs. 2. Easy to see "What shall I do?" - You see actions per deal while reviewing pipeline and you see actions for current/next day/week while planning the work. 3. Integration with Google Apps - Contacts and callendar are synchronized reliably.

Cons: 1. Marketing and service part not covered - There is some integration with Mailchimp https://blog.pipedrive.com/2015/05/introducing-an-easier-pipedrive-and-mailchimp-integration/ but... see more https://www.pipedrive.com/en/integrations . 2. Integration with e-mail could be better e.g. Insightly has direct gadget visible in Gmail enabling to relate incoming mail to opportunity, contact, organization.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you need "just" usable pipepeline management, have no doubts. If support for marketing, customer service, social networks management is required too, look for integrations (and choose best of breed for each area) or look for some complete CRM solutions.

Pros: The software was super easy to setup and get going quickly - which we needed since we were moving from nothing. Pipelines were very easy to adjust and manage and also for our Sales team to understand. We also had a fair number of custom fields that we needed to add to the system and it was really nice that we could that ourselves.

Cons: Where Pipedrive ultimately failed us was in the reporting. As we grew and we needed to know what products were selling best and what customers were interested in what things and such, we just couldn't get it out of Pipedrive. The reporting was really structured around keeping track of where you were but try and pull a simple report for figuring our retention rates and you couldn't.

Pros: Pipedrive seemed to be better than GetBase or Nutshell. It has easy ability to upload and quickly build out a sales funnel. The mobile interface and ability to connect to email is better than others I've noticed. The DEALS view is a strong asset in Pipedrive. The way the app tracks phone calls is great for managing remote teams and call outcomes.

Cons: I think the email template is a bit wonky at times; and there are a few subtle nuances like "Mark-As-Done" that can make managing a team's daily performance a bit cumbersome, if they're missing details.

Overall: It has been great for small 3-10 person teams and they're pretty quick on customer response/questions/help. It also doesn't take an IT staff or CRM administrator to make some minor adjustments.

Pros: A phenomenal tool to manage your sales progress and sales team. The PipeDrive "pipelines" are an ingenious simple tool to manage the flow of your deals. I love the dashboard and it suits my type-A personality and compartmentalized brain. If you don't know what I mean look at the dashboard. We run 8 separate PipeLines and it is super simple to navigate and see the progress made by each individual business and salesperson. Having the ability to customize and organize is essential for managing my team. Being sent an email to sum up my teams day is also super critical and I like this feature. As a start up, price is very important so when I weighed PipeDrive against other CRM's in the decision-making phase I decided based on price but the truth is we will stay with them because of the product. If you are trying to make the decision on a CRM, pick PipeDrive you won't regret it.

Cons: We have had a few small issues with the email system. This is really the only area we have experienced difficulties. And they're minor ex. text size got altered upon sending for some reason. However, I know we played a role in this too as we were copying and pasting parts of texts from word docs.

Overall: I think I summed this up pretty well in the review. We use it for all our sales needs and it is awesome. Management, Lead-Flow, Sales Progress, Email, Email Templates, Customer Management, etc.

Pros: - Speed of web app and mobile app

- Filters for viewing deals by employee

- Integrations with Zapier

- Custom Fields

Cons: - Lack of concurrent multiple photos upload in mobile app

- Lack of custom view settings for different employees in the same company

Overall: I have had a great experience with Pipedrive's customer service team. They have responded promptly (within 2-3 hours) of every support email I have sent and have responded promptly to replies to those emails. It has been a remarkably easy software to roll out for our field technicians, who intuitively understood how to move deals, assign activities, and view necessary information.

As a multi-site company with a clear division between our sales team and our production team, Pipedrive lacks some functionality that would make it an absolute winner. We are unable to assign custom viewing settings to different employees - making it more confusing for our production team who has to filter through the sales pipelines to get to their information. We also are unable to separate multiple locations into separate teams within the same company. Thus our office in one city in another state has to see all of the content for our other office in a different state. We are able to work around these issues, but would love Pipedrive even more if it had custom view permissions and location settings for pipelines.

The mobile app is remarkably snappy, easy to use, and integrates well with other apps on the phone (Google Maps, Inbox, Outlook, Call Logging). One feature missing is support for uploading multiple photos at one time. Our field technicians have to upload each photo individually.

Recommendations to other buyers: - Ability to link web app to a land line to log calls

Pros: Most of all, I like analytical features of Pipedrive.

In particular, this is ability to track how sales with particular client go and ability to create sales funnel reports. Also I used a lot a feature of integration with Google calendar and deals follow up. With a whole mess of email correspondence we have, Pipedrive really made things easier and more organized. What I also like is ability to make notes of past client appointments. This is a great feature as every client feels pleasured as they realize I remember them.

Cons: Customer support is really slow. We needed to stay long on the web chat until specialist got available.

Overall: Putting our sales process and client interaction in order

Pros: This is a full featured CRM at a fraction of the cost of Salesforce or other full featured CRM. It is a great tool for managing a team of 3 or more salespeople ¿ especially if each person works 10+ deals at a time. I really like the swim lanes for tracking deal flow.

Cons: Pipedrive keeps adding new features which is great, but they aren't well designed. This leads to a lack of unity in the user experience. For example, the Settings section allows you to do almost anything. However, it is extremely difficult to find how to do what you do. I even struggle to remember how to change a setting after a couple days. Thankfully their is a lot of great documentation so the answer is only a search away.

Comments: Used Salesforce, used insightly, used Podio (not a CRM but we made it one), used a spreadsheet. In Salesforce and Insightly case they are clunky, slow, have all sorts of features that are just cr&p. The email integrations are clunky. I mean how does a CRM have poor email integration. Crazy. Insightly was the worst for keeping contacts up to date. The gmail and mailchimp "integrations" were rubbish and the worst part was for gmail it was only one way. So for anyone updating a contact on your phone insightly wouldn't update and seemed to just over rule your change. So annoying. And you could not bulk edit or update clients, companies or deals. So annoying! Podio was heaps better! Even though it was for project management. Bulk edit and its custimisation were awesome, but it just was not a CRM. Pipedrive, is simple, everything is in a "Pipe" of potential deals. The way we think about deals. Many factors change at our potential clients to the bulk edit (which is intuitive and easy to use) is such a good feature! And we have it synced across gmail (contacts, calendar and mail), iOS devices, mailchimp. (use FullContact as well as Piesync and built in Pipedrive gmail integration). Seriously awesome!

Pros: Simple, easy, intuitive, bulk edit/ upload feature is worth it alone. Gmail integration, simple interface. Seriously gold!

Cons: None really, would love a way to dial/ record or notate a phone call directly from a potential client, but overall is great!

Recommendations to other buyers: Do it. I would set up a "fake" or "test" organisation first using totally different sign ins etc, clean your data before importing, then play around with it. Then once comfortable set-up the "real" company and deals etc

Pros: Pipedrive is able to gather information from many different sources and organize it in an easy and understandable way. Pipedrives design lays each deal out in a format that is simple and helpful. When I am in need of finding company information Pipedrive allows me to view all the information in one place instead of having to search everywhere for it. It is very helpful to have all the employees of a company labeled under the same deal so that we do not contact people twice or too many times. Pipedrive also makes it easy to export lists of people because it has a filter function with many different ways to separate people. Pipedrive support is very helpful and always available when I call, they have been able to assist me in all of my issues except the one listed below. Pipedrive's support is exceptional considering the cost of the CRM. Pipedrive is cheap and is a very good CRM for smaller businesses.

Cons: I do not like that pipedrive does not automatically combine companies and deals. When you add a new person to pipedrive it creates a new company instead of adding it to the company that is already created and it similarly adds a second deal. There is not a simple way to create a new person and simultaneously add it to the deal and the company. This is not a major issue, but it proves to be frustrating and inconvenient when adding many new people to the CRM.

Recommendations to other buyers: I recommend that people become very informed on the product before evaluating it and really learn how to use it. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Pipedrive support and they were very helpful, but there were some things that still weren't quite clear. Pipedrive is a cheap and simple CRM and I would recommend it to others. When reviewing software be clear about not only the positives, but the negatives as well so customers become well informed when making a decision.

Pros: I cannot say enough good things about this software. We've been using it for over a year now and it has never failed us. Everything you imagine to do with your CRM tool you can get done with Pipedrive and its integrations. You don't need any time at all to get used to it, it's very intuitive. The custom fields and details about contacts and deals are endless. You can integrate it with your gmail and it will automatically import all your emails and trigger drafts for every new deal you make. Reminder and deal rotting options are pretty handy. Reporting is also well constructed because you can go in details and export anything you need.

Cons: The only thing that can be a little annoying sometimes that it does log you out if you're inactive for sometime during the day but it's not too much of a problem.

Cons: User roles are limited

RTL text not yet supported (we're from Israel)

No option to define custom fields per pipeline

No automatic workflows

Overall: We've been using pipedrive for over two years now. It's a great and intuitive CRM built by salespeople for salespeople.

From our experience, teams that work with pipedrive and build their pipelines correctly can have new salespeople generating sales very quickly after starting to work with the system - it's that intuitive.

Couple that with great zapier integration and other native integration and a very competitive price point, this is huge value for money.

We love it.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you want simple but powerful sales tool, that salespeople actually like using - pipedrive is the answer, and the product is constantly evolving.

Comments: Pipedrive's entry-level version is capable, serviceable and relatively straightforward to master. It does require some dedicated time to set up and to connect to other, existing programs already in use such as MS Outlook, MS Contacts and/or Gmail. I recommend it, but I know that our team has found some aspects wanting for our needs, in terms of reporting, scheduling and knowledge sharing.

Pros: Enables the team and its leadership to enter, edit, review, export and monitor sales prospects and funnel. Provides good, short and easily understood tutorials so that team members can support themselves. Provides good connectivity with other programs that can be used to extend the use of customer pursuit data.

Cons: Not really conceived or designed for professional services companies, which have multiple services and different types of deliverables that can be discussed, proposed and sold in tandem or asynchronously. For example, it does not really seem to offer some of the interim options that can be necessary with one or more customer purchasing (or other types of Go/No-Go) decisions are postponed, scheduled for the future or otherwise associated with a soft decision deadline. Not as intuitive as could be expected for executives implementing sales management software for the first time. Needs to be used with care by Professional Service firms, to tweak functions so as to accommodate client and [non-sales] staff behaviors.

Nice look & feel

Cons: Ability to manage the quotes too

Overall: We have used Pipedrive in the last to years to manage the company's pipeline; you can easily customize the sales cycle / stages applied (our is based on "Strategic Selling", 10 steps).

It is a very simple and essential tool where you can have an immediate snapshot about your deals ir the entire company deals; you can have a very easy to read forecast and predict quite well the sales.

There some useful integration and it is possible to import (export) data from the main CRM or other sales tools

Very good value for money if (like us) you are using the "best of bread" integrated different tools to manage your business

Pros: intuitive, straightforward, love the flexibility of the pipeline, great phone app, integration with email is super, the adaptability of the fields is excellent, it looks good, I enjoy using it. Thank you for a super product.

Cons: Deduplication is probably my only dislike. As a small start up business £25 a head per month mounts up so we are limiting who has access which isn't ideal. I understand the commercials, but maybe when you get to five seats the next one is free, and then ten etc. or something to acknowledge scale and loyalty.

see below for further suggestions.

Overall: I started using Pipedrive in August and I haven't been disappointed. Its the most intuitive software I've ever used and it has lots of thoughtful features that make it unique and smart. It's never crashed, uploading data was easy, the pipeline function is great, the integration with emails actually works and the phone app is so useful. I guess the only thing I'd ask them to do to improve it (although it's almost perfect) is to integrate the reduplicating software so its not possible to enter a contact when it already exists. That's the one and only thing I think it's missing.

I'm so happy we found Pipedrive because I've tried many and not liked any of them! I highly recommend Pipedrive to anyone and I congratulate the team on a great product.

Recommendations to other buyers: Add email alerts for tasks Deduplicate when adding a new contact or company Built in deduplication button for when loading new data More control over what users can do and see for different grades of staff Emailshots directly from software

At work, I basically live in Pipedrive. It's intuitive and it streamlines our sales process.

Pros: I really like the interface which is elegant and very functional. Also, it has all the features we need but it's still relatively simple and uncomplicated. I appreciate that their development team keeps adding new features and keeps ironing out some minor issues.

Cons: Pipedrive team keeps improving their product all the time. Most of the issues I had with it had already been fixed. The only real downside is that (at least for us) it takes a long time for the emails you sent to a customer to sync and show up in Pipedrive. It's especially true if they contain attachments. Plain text emails show up on the lead's page almost immediately. Maybe it's just the servers we use for our company email, idk. Also, I think all input fields should be searchable (they are working on it).

Overall: In my line of work using Pipedrive is about the only way I can manage my communications with my clients. It also helps me manage my activities (my daily tasks) and my sales funnel. Honestly, we would not be able to work efficiently without Pipedrive.

Pros: Really easy to use and does it's job superbly. Every company needs sales but many people find they let sales slip through the cracks with poor follow up and random notes all over the place. Pipedrive makes tracking and optimising your sales pipeline a 5 min job.

Good integrations with a range of scheduling and email marketing apps make it really easy to plug in to your existing infrastructure

Cons: It' really hard to fault Pipedrive. it's simple, does what it's designed to do very well. It might be useful to be able to better share information between users but that's a minor gripe.

Pros: CRM works great on task management and saves time. We use it to manage transactions, so it's very easy to find out where to act to close more deals. The program has excellent content in the support section and a blog with sales tips, and e-mail even has sales training. Another advantage is that the reports clearly indicate how many transactions, calls, meetings and emails you need to do to close the deal.

Cons: I believe that the price policy is a little high for the functions that are offered, and it can include more automation of data entry. I want better dashboards and reports. Limited automation for CRM software. There is no desktop application that is available in other CRM programs. Therefore, you need to log into your browser or use it in your mobile application to make any changes.

Pros: Integration with Google Apps is one of best thing to have. I can easily add my documents to my deals in Pipedrive. This feature allows me to track my google contracts and important documents every time I need it. Contacts management is again a great feature. This completes Pipedrive as a perfect CRM service. I can manage all my prospects data within Pipedrive CRM and retrieve data as needed. Primarily it is used as a sales-focused CRM, but with its ability to customize pipelines and deal stages we have adapted it for sales, development, strategic development, and a few other areas.

Cons: I would also like to be able to have different pipelines to different users. Also, customizing the stages to fit our needs was a little tricky in the beginning but we worked it out.

Pros: Extremely configurable. Very important as everyone's needs are slightly different.

Create separate Pipe lines. Some deals just take longer than others and are really more of a project than a deal. Putting them in a different pipeline removes the clutter giving you a much clearer vision of what has to be done today.

Adding pricing and products.

Easily moving email from your existing mail client to Pipedrive so there is a record of all communications relating to a deal

Cons: A little thin in some areas.

No ability to add calculated fields for Sales Tax to a product quote for example.

A few other small things, but this is obviously a work in progress and these will be corrected no doubt. But, it is far enough along the pipeline that these are small irritants that do not effect how well it works.

Overall: Pipedrive does just one thing, but it does it extremely well. Once a lead (Deal) is entered the whole focus becomes on turning the lead into a sale. You can tell exactly which deals need attention and need to be pushed along keeping you very focused on the end game - turning a deal into a sale.

Recommendations to other buyers: Support is very good and US based. If a feature is not available they tell you so with no promises of vaporware to come. Where there is a solution, they know it, or will put you on hold to find out. Support is everything in a product. Don't outsource it. That would be the worst thing you could do. It would kill the on-boarding process.

Pros: There are three key features that I find most useful. Firstly, you have all your leads in front of you and know exactly in what stage they are(e.g. idea, needs discovered, negotiation, closing). That allows you to focus on the most important deals. Secondly, I love the filtering options. My work requires me to give feedback to real estate developers and it is so easy to filter leads and export it to excel to send to developers. And those filters are amazing, whatever you want to filter, you can do it. Thirdly, I really like the customization. You can customize all the fields in organisation, deals, contact person and so on. What ever is important to you.

Cons: Maybe a little disadvantage is that if you need anything specific for your company, they most likely wont develop it unless it is required from other clients as well. Since Pipedrive launches all their upgrades to all customers , you cant get specific developments that are just for you.

Recommendations to other buyers: I really recommend using this software wether you are in real estate, software development, marketing or any other business sector. After playing around little bit with this software you will most definately find key features that will make your everyday worklife smoother and effective.

Pros: The prospect pipeline. It is extremely easy to create opportunities and advance them along the various stages of the sales cycle. Visually the look and feel of the platform is exceptional. Typically in my experience the majority of CRM tools feel clunky and seem to be targeting too broad of a market with the bundles of unnecessary features

Cons: I feel that the email integration function for sending outbound prospect emails should be included in the silver package. That feature is valuable to sales organizations but IMHO, it is not a feature that justifies the increase in price between Silver and Gold.

I also feel that a calendar integration with gmail would be a nice addition.

Overall: We had been using insightly CRM prior to testing out Pipedrive. The difference is truly night and day, especially when it comes to the workflow engine and UI/UX. My sales team can easily update prospects on the fly, and I am able to have a 360 view of every opportunity in our pipeline.

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep up the great work. In my experience with managing sales organizations, one of the biggest struggles has always been that my SDR's were either too busy, lazy or disinterested to actually fill out all form fields correctly. Entering leads into Pipedrive is a far greater experience, the process is simple, aesthetically pleasing and provides immediate gratification to the user when they see their revenue numbers jump. From the Admin perspective its very easy to measure most of the user activity.

Pros: The interface is very clean and clear. Team management works easily, with good options for user permissions. You can generate alot of business information from this application and it is infinitely extendible by creating your own plugins or input tools.

The overall user interface is very friendly, intuitive, and straightforward. Inexpensive and easy to transfer to from other CRM applications, if making a switch from another.

Cons: Not too many downsides. Some additional features could be nice but they have definitely covered all of the important bases. It pulls information from Outlook but doesn't export information into it so little things like that could be added but it's great as a one stop shop CRM tool.

Pros: everything apart from the report tool

Cons: its broken. the report tool is plain buggy

Overall: The ease of use is great. It's intuitive and great to look at. I really want to buy it BUT.......

If you run a report for let's say..........sales leads in £ value.

It miss calculates the value of them.

what happens is this

If you have £10,000 overall sales leads split into

£1000 Lead In

£5000 Quoted

£4000 Verbal Order

the report says you have

£10,000, plus (£10,000 minus £1000) plus (£10,000 minus £4,000) plus (£10,000 minus £5000) giving a miss represented overall figure of £30,000.

My monthly sales leads add up to £148,000 but the report gave me a figure of £543,000 because I have 6 stages and it miss calculates as above for each one. I cannot believe no one has noticed this before so I am left wondering

1. Does anyone actually use this product

2. Do they care it's broken

It's been 7 hours and counting since I told them so let's see if I get any response.

Recommendations to other buyers: fix the report tool.

Pros: -It is incredible how you can improve, support and create strategies in the area of vehicle sales with promosiones, offers and customer acquisition.

-Can organize calls and emails in a simple way, since it has an easy way of configuration, which allows any user or company to customize it to their liking or adapt to their needs.

-It has a great optimized view, which focuses productivity on administrative and personal growth within the organization, making a great integration with all available applications.

- It focuses on all its tools for the growth of the sales department of any company, giving it a 100% scalability compared to other tools in the market.

-Its price value ratio is definitely great, I do not find it expensive for all sales and growth activities that can be done.

Cons: It has no negative aspects, it complies with everything it was created for, I would only like to know how much language support can be optimized for Latin countries.

Overall: great, a unique way to create systems and sales promotions, corporate growth that improves numbers.

Pros: I like the format and fields that are easily available to see, it makes even taking a glance at it for a moment useful. They also make it incredibly easy to follow up on leads and emails. Overall just a great organizational tool

Cons: The email integration has some problems when it comes to receiving emails from the same people with the same subject. The tech support could also use some beefing up too, sometimes the advice is really confusing.

Overall: The biggest benefits just come from the organizational help it gives to the sales team. It makes it so both they and the management can easily stay on top of all the tasks that they need to do.

Pros: It is so easy to use and allows you to pull data from other sources easily. Great drag and drop capability and work flow from potential client identification through closing on a contract. Also works well with other software like Mail Chimp so that you can use your biz dev list easily for email blasts.

Cons: They increased the price so I had to consider the overall value. But, it still seemed valuable even with increased costs.

Overall: Pipedrive makes biz dev a breeze, easier to track, and almost fun. It is like the gamafication of biz dev. Excellent for collaborative environments too. You can easily track successes and measure efforts.

Comments: Product is inexpensive and does what I need it to do. I manage a business with lots of small activities so it is great to set up the alerts in the pipeline to remind me what to do and when to do it. When it goes RED I know I have to tackle it. A few more colors would be great in the future to let me know when I am scoring:)

Pros: Pipedrive is easy to use and efficient. Its simple and clean to use on my smartphone or in the office. It's great to speak notes and set up the next action step in the field.

Cons: I would like a few more search functions, but that may be a little more specific to my business or I may not have looked far enough into it to get what I was looking for.

Pros: I love the ease of use and ability to hit the ground running when you sign up! When you set an upcoming activity, Pipedrive sends you and email that morning reminding you of your activity.

Cons: There is not much I don't like about Pipedrive. It is quite easy to use, and if/when my business outgrows Pipedrive, they have built it to easily transfer the data somewhere else.

Overall: It really helps me to be unstoppable in the sales part of my business, as I'm not limited by how many people I can keep track of. It also helps me to keep current on what is happening with the members in my community so I never forget something important happening with them.

Pros: Easy and quick and simple.I am not technically strong but I found PD very easy to learn. I make 40-60 calls a day and really helps me stay organized and stay focused on following up on calls.

Cons: I can only think of 2 negative thing which I assume is probably just me. When entering a new account the profile appears to just go at random order. I use to be able to call through Skype through PD and for some reason does not allow me to do this anymore. This occurred after Skype did upgrade. I find this very frustrating and when I communicated with PD they said was not their issue. With Skype you can't get a human body. If some changed compatibly with Skype and Pipedrive I would assume the PD would make sure they would be compatible with any upgrades.

Pipedrive takes the hassle and much of the stress out of my workdays.

Comments: Pros:

This program is extremely easy to use. Set up was really simple. In very little time, I was able to maneuver my way around very easily. For this reason, I haven't really had to deal with customer service at all - so I gave only 4 stars there.

This is as close to perfect as it gets. I can put something into my Pipedrive and know I don't have to worry about it. No more notebook full of notes and valuable info, I simply put it into my Pipedrive and forget it!

I absolutely LOVE that Pipedrive automatically updates any new contacts I enter on a deal and I can easily export the info for any other needs.

I've found multiple pipelines to be a useful tool. I have a different pipeline to deal with pending orders, open orders, and closed orders (returns). I can easily move a deal from one pipeline to the next. This is so nice.

The phone app is nice - I am on the road a lot and this way nothing gets forgotten. I can take care of it right away by setting an activity from anywhere.

Cons:

I do not like the BCC email feature. I still have my email window and pipedrive window open at all times. It would be very nice to have everything in one place without having to go to my email and BCC it to my deals. So, I reserve this feature for very important, informational emails only.

If I could change one thing, I'd add the option to set-up automatic activities. In my line of work, often once something reaches a certain step in the pipeline, my next action will be the same regardless of the client. I wish I could just swipe it over to that stage and have an automatic activity reminder later without having to manually set it.

Note: I am an independent contractor, so I don't have experience on using the program with multiple other people. However, I'm confident that I could hire an assistant and very easily manage their tasks in this program.

Pros: Easy to customize sales pipes / fields on contacts and opportunities made Pipedrive the perfect tool for us. We have a fairly small sales force with a half-dozen or so types of engagements to manage. Pipedrive keeps us organized and ensures we hit every step in our sales process, increasing our effectiveness and response times. I couldn't live without it.

Cons: It isn't immediately obvious when onboarding how to make the tool work best for you, but fortunately you can easily adjust course and move your data around as you feel it out. No problems since then!

Pros: Ease of use. Ease of customization. Ability to see the big picture in the pipeline view.

Cons: -I would like to have offline capability of the desktop.

-I would like to have my reminders from the iphone link into Pipedrive. I use Siri all the time and put my reminders in there. If I had it link up with Siri....boom....game changer. Even if it linked up with IOS reminders would be sweet.

- I would also like it when I make ANY(not just through the app) phone call prompt me if I want to put it in pipedrive.

- I would like the capability of adding more than one email to the same account. Right now I would have to pay for two users because I have two email accounts for different businesses.

Overall: I have done research on many different CRM's. I had no idea there was so many until I started looking. I checked out 30+ and demo'd 4 and decided on Pipedrive. It just fits right. It is customizable, easy to use, I can use it on my phone and it is helping me keep the big picture in mind. The best part is it is leading to more sales and it is keeping me professional and organized. I highly recommend using this system. I am a real person, not affiliated with Pipedrive and I am not someone getting paid to write this!!! That is what I think whenever I see a review like this. I run a business and really appreciate it when customers give us positive reviews.

Recommendations to other buyers: You gotta try it. Then best I have found.

Pros: It is very easy to use, anyone could start using very quickly, you can customize your stages and create sevaral different pipelines and keep tracking of all your process. Statistics and reports are very good, keeping almost all important KPIs and performance numbers very clear.

Cons: It lacks some functions to become a complete CRM tool, the pricing is expensive for the gold plan that allows you to send mails and create really engaging campaigns for your customers and users. There is a big gap of pricing from the Silver Plan to Gold.

Overall: Easy to use pipelines to track processes.

Pros: The customer service. It is by phone. And they are happy to screen share with teamviewer if it's complicated. The support people are friendly and patient and a lot of fun to work with. It also integrates well with gmail and google calendar and our quote and estimate app.

Cons: It would be really cool if the catalog and product features were a little more robust, but I have not even asked for that yet. We are finding that our requests for features are listened to and that it is not long before the things that we ask for are made to happen by their programming team.

Pros: Pipedrive is very easy to use, well organized, and easy to navigate. I love the calendar, activities and the notifications, along with the UI which I think is beyond better than some of its competitors. One of the best features is the ability to create customized fields. The last Pro, and this was huge for us, was the ability to create a contact with no required fields. We used Hubspot and Cloze and they required you to have an email, phone, or social media account to create the contact. Some of our leads come from community forums where we do not have the info initially so Pipedrive made entering leads a million times easier.

Cons: Sometimes we have noticed it can run a bit slow, such as when sending an email. One minor gripe is when I create a Contact and then I create a Deal - if I put notes or emails under the Contact it doesn't sync with the Deal. I have to put all notes and emails under the Deal. Another small annoyance is that the email tracking doesn't tell you who you opened the email so if an email is sent to 2 people, you have no idea which one opened it when.

Overall: A lot of the features we needed were included in the Pro plan, whereas with other companies we would have had to pay double for some of those features.

Pros: The ability to customize everything is the #1 reason I have continued to work with this product. The sales pipeline, the data input, information regarding the contact, the organization, the deal. Everything and anything can be customized to suit your needs. I happen to be a very visual person, and being able to see all my deals, and contacts, on one screen is fantastic. I get a daily email with all of the tasks that I need to complete, and the updated Calendar view makes scheduling a breeze. Just try it, and I really doubt that you will go back to any other Sales CRM.

Cons: The GPS function when you enter an address, needs a little bit of finesse, unless you enter the city and postal code. Maybe once they update the software, and limit the addresses to a region it will be easier. One thing to be prepared for, is that it may take some time to setup the CRM exactly to your needs and specifications. Changes can be made instantly, and sometimes you wanna go back to what you were doing before, or sometimes it takes a little bit of experimenting, but definitely not a deal breaker to be able to personalize it, and get it to the most effective CRM that you may need.

Recommendations to other buyers: Give it a try, be patient, and the payoff will be worth the time invested in personalizing the software.

Pros: Affordability, ease of set-up and use. App.

Cons: Some modifications, ease of tracking all email communications with external third-party clients (Gmail, Outlook)

Overall: We've tried other software - they are more difficult for a number of reasons. Being a smaller (under 20 person) business we have 3 sales people and need to be able to track the lifecycle of all leads, origination and how they pan out through our cycle. What I like about PipeDrive is the ease of set-up, specifically for your company and ability to define your own pipelines. Another great feature is a ROT feature. This allows a manager to be notified when a lead is not touched or moved from a place in your pipeline after a defined period of time. Helps to easily keep track of who is doing what and if discounts or extra time is necessary to be placed on a particular lead.

Recommendations to other buyers: Perfect for those who do not want the pricing.

Comments: With Pipedrive, your business will always have an efficient and user-friendly overview of the sales pipeline. Your sales team and deal makers will love the software, because of the sales pipeline methodology that is built into it. Your deals will be displayed according to different sales stages, allowing you to see the progress of your team and check which deals should be pushed. You can also follow the progress of your sales team members as well as deals offered to leads.

Pros: Efficient sales management Quick deal closure well organized lead collection full mobile optimization

Cons: No free t-shirts and it does not make coffee for me in the morning. I wish it linked my Meetings into Outlook without having to go through Zapper. Duplicate record management does not exist, difficult to adopt for marketing Dept

it has a help center for everything you need, and the customer service is great and fast ,plus they are alway ready to help.

Pros: Our sales staff is fully equipped to manage their sales calls and activities since implementing Pipedrive. This online environment of this sales tool also makes it very easy to oversee and manage our salespeople's activities. We are very pleased with the intuitiveness of this software.

Cons: There are few cons to this software, but the one we struggle with the most is merging or transferring sales contacts/leads to a different salesperson, which happens when we shift territories or when there are changes to our sales personnel.

Comments: I was the guy who thought CRMs were stupid. Extra work, Waste of time - if I wasn't doing my job I wouldn't be closing. CRM's are for mid managers to look busy. PipeDrive changed my mindset and sale performance completely. Simple, elegant interface based on the core principals of a sales pipeline - not sure what a pipeline is? Just start using the software and the intuitive design guides thorough the basic workflow of contact/assess/propose/close with a few clicks, basic data entry and drag and drop. The simple interface is available as website and a phone app so your pipeline goes with you everywhere. Every time you schedule or complete an activity, it prompts you schedule your next - pushing the contact cycle forward and building your schedule. Calls are recorded as activities as they are made and integrations with your google calendar and contacts make for clean sales data in your google world. Couple the amazing interface with integrations available through Zapier and IFTT and you have a fully customizable sales platform.

Pros: Simple interface, infinitely expandable with integrations. On many platforms (web, android, ios)

Cons: The Android ap still doesn't have landscape mode! Weak sauce as it is a great way to see all deals in a pipeline.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't be intimidated by a CRM it wont slow you down - it will quantify your efforts and show you where your processes need adjusting! Pipedrive and the pipeline system can also be used for simple stage project management!

Pipedrive provides the easiest, and most comprehensive CRM. Customer service is #1.

Pros: I like that the software gives you a lot of flexibility in creating templates, custom forms/fields, and labels/checklists. The software also has easy integration for importing and exporting information. Creating campaigns is simple, and if you ever have any questions, you can use the automated support center. If your answer cannot be found there (super-rare) then you can call directly and a real live person will assist you. They also offer several webinars weekly so you can always learn something new about the software. So easy even the president can use it....

Cons: The only thing I don't love is that sometimes when customizing fields, you have to go back and forth to enter the data and then sort it alphabetically. There is no way to duplicate fields, so for us, when we often have primary, secondary or tertiary sales people referring us leads, you need to create a new field from scratch and then input a sales person in 3 times before all forms are identical.

Overall: I can easily manage all leads, see where they are in the sales pipeline. I can attach users and see how they impact a deal. I can also easily export data to create presentations and can input large amounts of raw data in, to build new pipelines.

Cons: doesn't come with a case of free beer

Overall: So I run a one-man shop doing management consulting and one of my clients started using Pipedrive on the recommendation of one of THEIR clients. Curious as to how it worked (and due to a generous free trial period), I signed up for the free trial, watched the demo, and started plugging in my data on new clients. After only a few days, I knew that this was going to be a core component of my business process.

Perhaps the single best feature on the desktop version is that it prompts you to input the next action on the deal once you've marked a task as done. This little feature is great for someone like me who's not a natural salesperson and who needs a little reminder to input a deadline/reminder on the next step to maintain forward progress. Now I get daily reminders on everything I need to do (synced across all devices), which is SUPER helpful when you're juggling multiple clients/deals.

Also, if you just stay on top of it and use Pipedrive to track your normal sales pipeline, the work is self-documenting. This means when it comes time to review your performance, all the critical data is there on how quickly deals move through your sales process. It's a tremendously helpful and customizable tool at a low price.

If you liked this review or found it helpful in any way, go to https://www.pipedrive.com/taf/gsldynamicsinc and check out a 60-day free trial for yourself.

Cons: Automation is missing. However, Pipedrive team keep adding new features - automation related.

Comments: Pipedrive is a clean and intuitive programme that I initially found thought much ideal. It's a shame that I found that the recently-introduced email integration (for 'Gold' members and up) just doesn't really work. Or at least not for me. And support, having verified it wasn't working, didn't seem particularly interested in finding out why that might be, or helping me to get the system to work.

Pros: Clean and fairy intuitive, especially for those without hard core sales and marketing experience.

Cons: Even after a month or so, I'm still not entirely clear how it's all supposed to link up. And I was very disenchanted to trade up to Gold membership, only to discover that the much-ballyhooed two-way email sync didn't work reliably, and - worse - that customer 'support' was pretty apathetic about helping work out why.

Recommendations to other buyers: Probably a good non-scary option for non-experts. Perhaps simplest to stick to the basic (Silver) service, though, rather than paying twice as much for Gold (which, as noted above, just didn't work for me).

Pros: Ease of use and user journey management is the best part of Pipedrive. Competing software like Salesforce can become convoluted very quickly. Smaller teams really don't need much more than Pipedrive. This is a perfect example of a smaller company that does better work than the big names.

Pipedrive also has a beautiful interface. It's laid out in a very sleek and lacks the clunky interface of some competing CRMs.

Cons: Reporting software is not as thorough as Salesforce in my experience. This isn't a huge deal for our company but I think some nitpicky people may find it a bit limiting. The reporting is pretty customizable so it's not a real complaint for us.

Overall: This is a much easier to use CRM than most competitors. This allows us to manage our sales funnel much easier than other software. This is one of the best investments we made in 2017
