### "Very User Friendly for Everyone"

Storypark allows us to connect with our families. Providing a vital link between childcare and home. Our families love that they are able to contribute and share their childs learning journey. Inviting other family and friends to their childs page. Also when a child moves to another centre that has SP, it can be picked up where it was left. Creating a priceless record of their childs learning. As a centre it is the most efficient and quickest way of staying in contact with a large amount of people. The AP is great and the feedback we about SP is that everyone loves it!

Pros

We love that it is so easy to use, for us and our families! Very user friendly, even for the not so PC savvy user.

Cons

There is nothing that I can think of at this time :-)

We have found a huge increase in parent involvement.

Pros

I love the ease of uploading and writing stories. Also being able to connect with family world wide. The extra features make it great to communicate and share with colleagues

Cons

The mobile app doesn’t have all the features.

I think that parents are more likely to take notice of something that is on their phone, therefore they are more engaged with what their children are doing. It is a good sustainable option as we are not using paper and ink to record children's learning.

Pros

This software is easy to use. There are lots of good features and it saves time. Most parents enjoy and use the tool as well.

Cons

I don't have enough time to learn more about it. It is hard to use on the go, whilst teaching.

Pros

This programme revolutionised how we engage with our tamariki and whanau. Easy to use and love the data analysis functionality.

Cons

Mobile version isn’t quite as awesome as desktop.

Pros

I like everything about it. Hard to pinpoint what I like most.

Cons

What I like least is not being able to have a translate button for families to translate stories in their own languages. Another down fall is that we cannot cut and paste from another story.

Generally it has been quick to learn to use it. When I use it on a PC I think it works well and is great for updating parents as we go

Pros

I like that there is an app for it that can be used on the go. I like that I can be linked to new teachers when a child leaves my care - I can still see their new stories I can see when a parent has commented.

Cons

When using the app if it fails to upload you lose the story and all your work. There's no way to save it. That photos that are portrait have spaces around them - there's no way to arrange them creatively on the page. The planning feature doesn't seem very logical/is difficult to use.

Online it looks great, it is easy to use and help is always on hand. However printed stories look boring with a lot of wasted space on page.

Pros

Easy to use, makes my job a lot quicker. Easy for parents to connect with the kindergarten.

Cons

There are very limited layout options for printing.

Pros

It's easy to use and keep saved my work even if sometime I accidentally delete any observations

Asking for update so frequently , otherwise overall good

we have all the children set up and can invite other centres to the profile if they have moved or going to move to connect families. easily drop down boxes and the chat line is great

Pros

For me the admin, I can click into any set up room or plan easily, it pops up very quickly and the teachers love making their own templates to suit the centre needs

Cons

For the team they like to make things look nice so having some options for boarders would be good

Pros

Storypark has been a great tool for publishing children's stories and development for parents and families. we share information and can keep them updated on the progress of their child/children learning journey. Parents are able to comment and share their thoughts.

Cons

Sometimes storypark can run slow with other educators using at the same time.

We are able to post questions to are fanmilies about things happening in our centre and posting their daily learning that we have set for each day of the week.

Pros

It is easy to use and helps stafff to keep families up to date with what their children to while in our care.

Cons

It takes a while sometimes to load photos and to upload post as well which means staff are having to make sure they are uploading the story before exiting the app.

Again for me the Community Posts are the quickest and easiest way for me to contact our parents and have solved many communication problems which we've had previously.

Pros

I enjoy the ease with which you can contact the parents particularly as I only use the Community Posts which, as Office Manager, I use the most to contact all parents. I find that Storypark is the best way of making contact with all our families/whanau as notifications are read before emails are checked - I also get a greater response from Community Posts than email or texts. Photos are easy to upload and add in to notices and stories.

Cons

They only thing I personally would like is an online immediate chatline but when I have had a problem I know that Storypark get back to you as soon as they possibly can.

That it doesn’t have a ‘like’ button. Parents or educators have to comment and not everyone has time for that. So would be easier if it had a like button

It is easy to use and is self explanatory. It is user friendly and everyone can use. It is very helpful to see how our children are growing. And if need help to learn anything new, customer service is very fast.
