Comments: When researching POS systems, I ran across a plethora of them out there. I set up online displays where I could interact with different systems. The problem I encountered is that we are a hardware, tool, and lumberyard retail store. With this means thousands upon thousands of products, skus, and etc. In addition, lumber prices fluctuate weekly. As a result, we have to have the capability of easily modifying prices. From the 6 different POS systems I interacted with, Epos Now was the simplest, user-friendly, and MOST economical. In addition, the customer service and response time to questions before we ever purchased the system was almost instantaneous. When your livelihood depends on being able to make sells, update products, add products, create applicable categories, track sales, itemize most often sold products, track profit/loss margins, and etc., it is a necessity to have a company that will grow with you and teaches you how to continually grow. For us, Epos Now has been phenomenal. The quick customer response and having your own 'handler' so to speak is great! I seek assistance from (Epos Now representative), and he never fails. He is quick to respond, quick to offer aid, and he teaches the program. He isn't a fixer where you have to continually call to have the same issue fixed. He is an educator. He teaches me about the errors I create when I am utilizing the system, and he demonstrates how to solve the problem.

Pros: What I like most about the product is the simplistic layout, the fact that the system is economical, the ease of learning the system, the quick access to help when it is needed. If your POS system fails, you have to have access to help and Epos Now is there when you need it-you don¿t have to wait days to hear back. Another feature that I love is the tracking and reports. I love that I can track what customers order and be able to send emails when customers make payments on their credit accounts is phenomenal. Our customers love this feature.

Cons: I wish the measurement was in standard measurements instead of metric. For example, we sell nails and screws by the pound, but in the system we don't have the option to choose pound, but it isn't the end of the world instead we set it up as l (liter) but when you establish the cost it doesn't matter if it is showing as l or lb because you set it up as cost per 1 unit-whatever unit you choose to use. This is the same issue with measurement instead of foot, there is a meter, but it is still manageable without the standard measurement. The only option currently with Epos Now is metric, but it is my understanding that standard measurement is coming soon.

Comments: We are starting feed/retail/animal health products store, and wanted a cloud-based system with more flexibility than the dinosaur server-based systems typically used in our industry. We asked a TON of questions, demoed multiple systems, and decided Epos Now was the best fit; we've had the system for 4 months. Implementation was rough, to say the least. We were told customer service was based out of North Carolina; however, most of the reps we've talked to are very British. Nothing against Britts, but lingo is different, business is different, time zones are different- all making for minor challenges that we were not anticipating. Our implementation manager hung up on us mid-call when she had to go catch her train. We were instructed to enter products one way, then told we had to delete everything we'd entered (DAYS of work) and do it all over again. It cannot accept payments over $, which matters if you sell a large amount of product or invoice monthly. It is weight integrated, and when I was doing my initial inquisitions, made it clear that we would sell feed/seed in ounces, pounds, and tons with decimal values; the system only can measure in kilograms, which is not practical for most US applications. Manager overrides require the sales associate to log-out and the manager to log-in; an override code would be so much more efficient. However, when you actually have a client in front of you for a simple transaction, the transactions are smooth and easy. The sales interface is very user-friendly. It works great in the remote setting for pop-up shops. It was not expensive. The apps are interesting- it's nice that it makes the basic system very affordable and there are many apps available, but it is overwhelming to know which apps I need and how to use them. It could also potentially get expensive if you added many apps. As a young company, they are motivated and do continually work to improve the product and add frequent updates; however, we were told some features were a part of the system, but after purchasing the system were told that they would be available in the 'next update'. After about 2 months, we had a serious discussion about ditching this system and switching to another. We ultimately decided to stay with this system, accepting that all systems had limitations, and crossing our fingers that the worst was over. It does appear that the worst is over; however, we've only been going at this for 4 months, so ultimately time will tell.

Pros: We purchased your POS systems for both of our shops earlier this spring. We were upgrading our Gettysburg shop and opening a new location in Charleston, South Carolina. On the day before our opening, we installed the Bixelon barcode printer, and the plan was to print all of our labels that day so we'd be able to open and take sales the next day, April 1. When we tested the labels we'd printed, we found that none of them would scan, which was a major problem for us opening the next day. One of the Customer Support had been working with us already through weeks of a difficult installation in our Gettysburg shop, and when we realized the issue with the labels not scanning, he had already gone home for the day. It was a Friday night, and we were in a panic. Thankfully, a lady working your call line was able to reach out, and that customer support went above and beyond the call of duty, working with us for literally hours, ultimately discovering a bug within Google Chrome that was causing the issue. He then quickly fixed the problem, allowing us to print labels for all of our hundreds of hats and to open on time the next morning, with our system fully operational. Since then, continued to be quickly responsive to any issues we have encountered. We have been meaning to write this letter for some time now, but opening a new shop has been all consuming. We are ever so grateful to the customer support and feel that he is a true asset to your company. He is patient, personable, and calm, and a fine representative of your business. If he were our employee, he'd most certainly be first in line for a promotion.

Do not purchase if you are in the hospitality industry.

Pros: The ability to completely control the back office. We are able to enter new products, adjust pricing, calculate profit margin, run specials, etc with no assistance from the company itself.

Cons: This software was NEVER designed for the hospitality industry. We have had multiple occasions where tickets with tips will not close and we have not been able to collect those credit card tips. Since this is not the server's issue, the business has to pay the server their tips and then eat the cost when the ticket won't close. In speaking with the company, their only excuse is that tipping is not customary in the UK so it wasn't designed for that and they are "working" on it. We also ordered a case (10 rolls or800 meters) of printer tape from them. They sent us 270 meters of tape and tried to claim the rolls were larger and we got all the paper we paid for. I found their supplier and was able to order 50 ROLLS. Complete rip off. When I called to tell them I wanted to return their 4 rolls of tape and get a refund, the customer service rep actually laughed. I would never buy this system again and am currently saving money in an effort to replace it so I can sink the system in the bottom of our local lake.

Pros: The system is easy to use. I would love to have continued to use it....if they stood by what that tell you when you are purchasing the product and provide customer support, as they indicated.

Cons: Do yourself a favor....DO NOT PURCHASE AN EPOS SYSTEM. They DO NOT stand by what they tell you, when you are purchasing their equipment. Their support after one year is HORIBLE. If you refuse to buy their customer support plan, they tell you that they provide email support, which is a lie. They told me desktops have a 3 yr warranty on all equipment. Now, they are saying it only had a 1 yr warranty and we have to pay for a warranty, to have anything replaced now. I have created several tickets and never heard a word back or got the problem resolved. Today (Sunday at 2:00 CST) our desktop was down (which is ironic since our warranty supposibly just expired on the desktop). We had customers in our store and I needed our desktop up to check out customers. We received an error message saying the desktop could not be found, it has been moved or deleted. We called EPOS. It went to U.K. They refused to help because we did not purchase the 24/7 customer support service and said to call the US support line on Monday. Needless to say, we will be shopping for another POS system that stands by their product and customer service!

Pros: On Wednesday 20th September 2017 I was having some problems trying to log in to the back Office on our EPOs till. I phoned the support line in the morning & was connected to a 1st line support Agent. I explained the problem & it was agreed that she would phone me back at 4pm to help resolve the problem. We have recently changed company names over & there had been a mix up about which account etc. was still active ( our fault ). she phoned at 4pm prompt then kindly spent the next 2 hours or so helping me re install EPOs back office again as the one we had been using was now locked. I explained to her that I needed to get the new programme running as we opened again at 9am on the 20th & we needed the system up & running. Just to summarize as it would take to long to explain she was exceptional in the very cool, calm & professional manner in which she helped me resolve this issue. I was getting a little stressed as this was put on me last minute but she explained the process step by step in a very friendly & understanding manner. Anything she wasn't sure about in the process she asked for advice from her team & at one point she kindly got another member of her team to help also. Its vary rare when you deal with telephone help lines that everything you ask for happens but I can honestly say that she went above & beyond to help me which was really appreciated & I was able to set up the new Back Office system in time for us to be able to trade again in the next morning. she is a prime example of how to get a good end result for both parties in & limited time scale in very difficult & testing situation. She is an asset to your team & I hope she receives the recognition she deserves.

I've been using EposNow for 2 years, I would greatly recommend!

Comments: I literally do not know what I would do without EposNow, I would recommend them to anyone and have done in the past! We had a problem with our cashdrawer and it was replaced the following day. I've recently got very involved with going deeper into stock levels and master products and am very impressed with everything I can do!

Pros: Insights into sales, stock, customer loyalty all on dashboard and easy to read. There is so much I can do in the back office, I'm still learning new things 2 years on and am still very impressed with what I am able to do! Support are brilliant, always very friendly and helpful. There is a feature vote where you can submit any suggestions for the system and users vote on features they would like to see. The apps that integrate are very useful and there is something for everything you could think of! I can access the back office from anywhere, I love this, it means I can work from home and keep up to date with sales.

Cons: Support do take a while to answer your call, although I have only noticed this recently. Their stationary (till rolls etc can seem a little pricey) but you aren't bound to buy from them.

Eposnow is a phenomenal software!

Comments: We began as a very simple bookstore, with only a couple hundred products, and thus very easy to manage. Later on, as the business grew, I realized we needed to move into the future and purchase a point of sale. Eposnow has filled that need like only they can. We originally were bogged down by the fact that some of our books had no barcodes. They were able to teach us to barcode our products, and we could use them in tandem with the pre-barcoded books! Fluid and simple, and very excited for the new update!

Pros: Everything! Easy to use, straightforward, dependable, cheap, and powerful! I've never had such an easy experience with technology, and all of my hardware has worked seamlessly with the software!

Cons: Honestly, no cons. I wish there was more customizability, but a few of my feature votes have come through such as preauthorization, so the feature voting system does work well! I also was bothered by the quality of some of the training videos, but since they were free I wasn't too surprised. The customer display sometimes reads the wrong price.

Recommendations to other buyers: Qualify your purchase. This system does not have everything, even though it does have a lot. If you have something you aren't certain about that is a deal breaker, ask! I had so many questions and the sales rep was so helpful in letting me know what it could and could not do!

Pros: Nice looking dashboard although buttons are too small and fiddly to press

Cons: Software is extremely glitchy and often just locks up needing a reboot. Vendor claims it is not their software but my iPad browser. (strange how every other app or browser works perfectly without issue) I bought this because their website inferred that it would interface with Quickbooks which it did not. They talked me into changing my accounts package from quickbooks to Xero at extra per month, but that failed also. When I complained and asked for a refund, they just gave me the run-around passing me from department to department. I am well out of pocket.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take your time in evaluating vendors. Don't believe the hype or promises unless you can thoroughly test what they can do. I was promised that everything I wanted from this software would work on the live version once I handed over my cash which ended up not being the case. If the trial doesn't work, don't take their word that the paid version will work either.

We have no reported issues of problems with our iOS app across our customer base. Please ensure you are running the latest version of iOS and also check the quality of your internet connection as being a cloud based software it requires a certain amount of bandwidth.

We are currently developing a direct intergation with QuickBooks. Until this is complete we offer an integration through ¿Zapier¿ which acts as a bridge between Epos Now and QuickBooks. I am sorry to hear the Xero integration isn't working as you had hoped, we have no reports of this affecting our customer base so is an isolated issue. Pros: No Pros! Support & Customer Service hopeless. Not sure how a company is legally allowed to offer a solution that does not work!

Cons: Now been using this company for 2 years and they still have not managed to integrate our Magento system with the Epos Now till. They have outsourced this to 3 different companies during this time, all have been very amateur and have failed! It has cost my company thousands. Absolutely disgusted with the level of service we have received. Over the last 2 years we have gone trough a number of Epos Now staff, as they are constantly leaving. Will be seeking legal advise! If you have got a Magento system KEEP CLEAR of this company! They offer a solution that does not work!!!

Comments: More from Eposnow. They say they have called me several times. Technology does not lie. I have only one cell phone and there are no missed calls on my phone from any number anywhere. Beware of EposNow which should be renamed EposNever.

Pros: Did not get a chance to use as they shipped me a defective product

- elastic SAAS solution that can be customised for various business needs

- cloud-based solution that can work on any device and any operating system

Cons: - pricing seems fine initially but the sales team constantly keep pushing for paid support plan - this might be expensive

- As this is a massive provider, you might sometimes wait a long time for your new features to be implemented

Comments: I will never recommend EPOS Now to anyone that is looking for a point of sale system. We ordered on February 27th and were guaranteed delivery on March 6th. On March 6th we called because we never got a tracking number, and were then told they were out of stock and would be back in stock in a day or two. Once again we were guaranteed that we would get the first one shipped out and it would be to us on March 8th, no later than the 9th. March 8th comes and goes with no tracking number or no system. On the 9th I receive a phone call from a different sales rep, informing us they were back in stock and wanting to know when we needed our system (we pushed our opening back since we didn't get it on the 6th). I informed him that we needed it yesterday, and he once again guaranteed me that we would get it shipped over night. He said we would get it Saturday March 11th (not sure how 2 days away was over night, but okay because that would still give us time for our new opening date. It is now past time it should have been here today, the 11th and we still do not have our POS system. Now, if we get it on Monday, we will be learning it, trying to train our employees on it, and deal with the crowd of people that will be here. Every single day we are in our restaurant working we have people stop by asking when we will be open. I spent money on a system that I do not have, and am now facing an opening without a cash register at all. I am not please with this company. I am worried that if I ever do get my system and have a tech issue I am going to get the same run around.

Pros: Wouldn't know any since I do not have my system. Always get promised one thing and never follows through

Cons: Too many to list. Mainly poor customer service. Would love to have my system, but it seems they don't know how to ship them out.

Pros: Great looking product, beautiful interface. Back office component is easy to navigate and robust. Easy to find all of the reports and data I need. A component in the back office allows you to suggest improvements to the software. We are a resale shop and this software fit my needs of being able to assign store credit to my customers.

Cons: There are a few UI areas that could use improvement but nothing too critical. Getting a hold of customer support can be tricky, I believe they are based in the UK with support in the East Coast. I'm on the West Coast so occasionally I've had to play a bit of phone tag before getting a live person. Because I do own a resale/consignment shop, I'm adding a lot of various products to my stock list as I set up over several months, and this has required me to sign up for a Bulk Upload app which has an extra fee associated with it. This is annoying. If you add new lines of products regularly this is likely something you'd have to do, since adding products one by one is tedious. Though they will do a bulk upload for you when you first set up for free, so if you've got your product list in advance this might not be an issue. Because some of the features are apps it takes a while to navigate to them and open them. This being said, these are minor complaints, when I look back at some of the other systems I did look at.

Recommendations to other buyers: Think of all of your possible requirements and rank the features you would like to see, in advance of seeing a sales presentation. On your initial call you will be able to understand if a system fits your requirements immediately, rather than being walked through a presentation and having to go back and ask questions later.

Pros: After evaluating a number of potential EPOS solutions for our business we decided that the Epos Now solution was a close watch to our required specification, functionality and ease of use. It provided all of our essential hardware and software requirements and many 'nice to haves' that were on our original list. After installing the system off-site we had an intensive period of testing user data and configuring the system to match our specific business processes. Epos Now provided plenty of training and support during this period and we were impressed with how much functionality was available compared to our old system. After the user acceptance testing was signed off the system was installed seamlessly into the operation and has ran perfectly from day 1. Combined with the remote back office, the Epos Now system has been welcomed by staff, has introduced many new efficiencies into our business and continues to do so the more we use it. We have no hesitation recommending this system to others.We had a couple of small software gaps that we needed more help than usual to rectify however epos now made available the support resolve them.

Pros: Incredible service! Pros: Excellent experience migrating from an old system to this brand new system for our cricket club. The help in the implementation phase was really invaluable and they took their time to understand our current practices and provided better resolution rather than just trying to copy what we¿d done before. I just also say that the tech support and `live chat¿ has been excellent in getting quick answers to little niggles rather than submitting endless tech support tickets. The software is easy to use and I like being able to access my information on my phone from anywhere that I am. The email dashboards that you can automatically email to yourself are also very good, especially yesterday¿s sales and last weeks sales.

Cons: A member of staff is dyslexic and struggles with the colours. We would like the ability to change the colours so that it is easier to distinguish different products. We currently keep track of 700 members in an excel sheet and would like to find a way to manage multiple member types in different categories, and allocate each category the same price automatically through the software.

Comments: They lost our complete inventory two months after opening the business. We have over 2000 products in our store. It was a nightmare trying to deal with them. We aren't happy with the service at all.

Pros: Camera system integration with the point of sale is a good way to check on employees and transactions.

Cons: Customer service is horrible. Their hardware is always acting up and you have to reboot and unplug the units to try to fix new equipment. They use your credit card to pay for the equipment and monthly service which started charging me three months before we opened the business. Then we got a business credit card and switched to that card. Epos was billing both cards and wouldn't stop for 4 months until I canceled my personal card. They wouldn't reimburse me for the double billing.

Pros: After purchasing a card payment machines i was referred through to Epos for my till solutions. After speaking with one of the point of sales consultants, who was very knowledgeable and helpful, he recommended the right products for my new business after listening to my requirements. With in the hour of our call i had received a comprehensive quote and was able to review the demo. By lunch time i had made my decision this was the right company for me and by close of play i made my purchase. I would thoroughly recommend this company for your till solutions. Not only have they supplied me with a really competitive quote but the service i have received so far has been second to none.

Comments: We would never use Epos now again just waiting for the cleverly worded contract to finish. They are very good convincing to purchase their system and them tell you later that you have to pay the subscrption to have access to the back office. Very sneaky company. Stay away

Pros: I spent a lot of time researching POS systems before opening my cafe next year and I finally settled on Epos Now due to a good mix of price and functionalities. During the first phase they walked me through the system and company and made sure I was taken care of through all stages of my signing up process, thank you! The company offers 30 days free training when you purchase the software and I was lucky enough to get allocated to one of the rep. Besides being a bubbly personality and always in a good mood (which is not so easy to find in general) she was extremely patient with me asking the same questions over and over again and she explained the software's main functionalities with clarity and confidence. In just a few sessions we set up my whole menu on the system and the way it will appear on the till so all I have left to do now is plug in the hardware before opening and I'm good to go! Based on the service received so far I would definitely recommend Epos Now.

Pros: I use the product every day and am happy with the ease of use. Everyone picked it up quickly and the system is working for the business. I don¿t have any issues with the system and am going to integrate with my payment provider. I have never had any need to phone the customer support team but know they are there if I need anything.

Cons: I would like to see some improvements to invoicing. In particular I would like to be able to put my company logo on the invoice. Another thing that I have noticed is that when you look at an invoice it generates a new invoice number which does not need to happen when you are purely viewing an existing invoice.

Comments: The big mouth(sales) does not match the digestive(Support) system. The business seems to have high turnover because you will be dealing with different people all the time and always get the message "So so is no longer here" and you seem to be dealing with different people all the time. The sales advised me it will be good for use even places outside UK. My system has been down for three weeks and have been told someone will come back to you, and that someone will never come back. You phone and sometimes it goes unanswered or is cut. As one of the directors of the company I had insisted and imposed this system on our company against our employees resistance and sticking to a locally supported product. How embarrassed and have been proved wrong and we are going to our old simple system called 4POS.

Pros: Cloud based and access to real time information on what is happening on the ground. Could access information anyway. The potential to improve other basic utilities on a POS is there

Cons: Hidden costs which become real after purchase. Comes in bits and pieces. Low price comes at a cost. Simple things like uploading information become chargeable through direct debit up.

Comments: We purchased our system about 8 months ago. We have a retail and service business. When we do a transaction the till rounds up the product total (where $2.00 + $2.00= $4.01 as an exact example) so that the amount charged to the customer is wrong more than 80% of the time. I have spoken to more than 6 employees about our issue. All appear concerned, but still 8 months later our 'cash register' is not accurate. In a financial based industry like POS it seems to me like that would be extremely high in the degree of importance, but to EPOSNOW it seems to be an insurmountable problem as they can not seem to get it right. All I hear are excuses and promises that it will be fixed in April and then in May and now we are halfway through June and still nothing. How can EPOSNOW be in this business and not be accurate? Get it fixed and stop making excuses.

Pros: It's easy to use. Adding products to the till appears to be pretty easy. Many of the features are also easy to use. Pulling reports for anytime it is also very easy.

Cons: The rounding errror is inexcusable. The data base feature is not user friendly at all. The parameters for printing labels is also very rigid and not user-friendly.

Comments: I purchased Epos Now for my new store, and overall I've been extremely satisfied with the program. I purchased the software and hardware (except magnetic strip), and for the price the software is unbeatable. Epos's sales and support team are just a call away 24/7, and have been great to work with.

Pros: The product is really user friendly, and tracks inventory, payroll and taxes. Plus it keeps track of trending products, low stock items, and allows you to run promotions for specific time frames.

Cons: I haven't figured out how to create a promotion that only applies if a customer brings in a coupon I've ran in the local paper. Example: Discount of 15% on any purchase of $35 or more. I can set up a promotion like this but it will apply to any transaction over $35. The support team at Epos is trying to figure out away around this

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're interested in this software give Epos a call. They will gladly walk you thru all their system has to offer and will set you up with a free trial. Work with the free trial for a few days to see if it will meet your needs.

Pros: We've been working with EposNow for a few months now, and even with our start-up issues, they've been great. The support staff is personable and helpful to an incredible degree. The smallest thing he will do his upmost to help with. We had him come down to London to troubleshoot, and even with our connectivity issues he was able to get us up and running in both our shops. An absolute asset to the company and I'd recommend anyone to contact him when using EposNow!

Cons: Takes a while to get used to the interface, but as said before the support is so good I know I could easily call if I'm confused.

Comments: This product was originally designed for retail and they are trying to branch out into hospitality. They have a bunch of updates planned for release in July that are geared towards fine dining. The software just doesn't work for a quick serve.

Pros: The hardware is good if you upgrade the ram. The Customer service "team" is friendly and supportive. It isn't their fault that the software is clunky and hard to use.

Cons: The software is not user friendly. They do not support the hardware after 30 days. If something breaks , too bad. There are no aftermarket parts available in the US so the best they will do is sell you a new system for a discount. That was 900.00 for a new POS which I didn't like anyway. They also sent me a used cash drawer with a credit card slip signed from Shades of America in King of Prussia, PA. That is sloppy . Not very concerned about compliance. It must have been from one of their other retail accounts.

Comments: was called and informed that changes can be made to the system in due time due to the hard work of the software team.

Pros: Great service, very helpful from purchase to setup and everyday use. Being in the medical field, it's somewhat complicated to find a POS that will allow our business to look clean. Would recommend this product to every busy.

Comments: Overpriced hardware. You can get any PC a lot cheaper to run the cloud Base software. Button colours are limited. And the default blue is hard to read. You can't add the miscellaneous buttons to any product. Also, you can't change the colours or arrange the miscellaneous buttons. The key on the screen seems to float around forever. I can't disable it. I can't add my card terminal to the hardware.

Pros: It's a epos system. I can't find any that good to say . I wish I never signed that four year contract.

Comments: When I asked for a refund for the months they charged for service the answer was no. Seriously if your considering eposnow just keep moving there are better systems out there.

Pros: In theory, from the demo's, I liked the inventory management aspect. Being about to generate an order sku from within the system and when the order arrives you just scan the barcode and the product is entered. That was the best feature to me.

Cons: Even the back end is designed for a tablet. What that means is the user interface worse! You must have a touch screen and even then its "wonky" and hard to navigate. Their training and onboarding consists of you watching a whole bunch of lame videos and doing all the work yourself. When I did a trial run of NCR Silver it was so self explanatory I didn't need the tutorials or much help from the onboarding people. Look not only that but the advertisements say that the system was developed around a large vape company. But when entering the items for vape liquid they said if I want to track stock on 0mg, 3mg and 6mg of a given flavor then I have to create separate items! Not sure what the point of having variables is if every product variation needs to be entered as a separate item. NCR Silver does this with ease and probably other systems do to.

Pros: Generally speaking its easy to use, its not complex.

Cons: There are a lot of items I can list as I am a very disappointed customer. Customer service is quoted to be 24/7. But if you're in the US you're mostly going to be told that someone in the US support team will have to get back to you during work hours. So its really not 24/7 support. Another false selling point is the "integrated" mercury payment system. Again, while this is an integrated solution, Mercury is an even worse company to deal with (Vantiv), and the credit card receipts do not print correctly. Actually you can barely read the print. We were told there was an enhancement to improve this in Aug. Its September now and nothing. From the onset we were given false information to get the sale. After investing all this time and energy into a solution and getting your wait staff trained, when you find out nothing you were told works how its supposed to its very disappointing. This is a Point of sale system and the biggest issue with it is at the point of sale. Also the reports that are generated are sub par. There are so many tools that do better reporting than EPOS. Its very limited, but looks really elaborate during demo.

Recommendations to other buyers: Read the comments by other customers before purchasing this product. Ordyx or TouchBistro are much better products.

Pros: Since choosing EPOS Now for our POS system at our retail store, I have been working closely with a technician in Customer Support. Even when I am frustrated and facing a difficult challenge, they have been calm and professional and always ease my mind that nothing is insurmountable.

Cons: While I can't say that my experience in trying to install a POS system has been easy, I can say that my technician has been so attentive to my needs and has gone over and above in helping me get this going.

Comments: I'm told that they let our representative go. If this is the case, their service may be better. When we received the system, we never opened the boxes. All we did was watch the video tutorials. Our service rep was terrible and missed all of our setup meetings. This pushed us back over 30 days which led into a major event that we were having and could not setup the system during this event. Following the event, we ended up changing our minds and wanted to return the unused unopened system. They would not allow us to, because its in their contract that their are no returns. Make sure you do your research before purchasing any POS. We learned our lesson and are now stuck with this system.

Pros: Simple system to use on the front end. Staff could jump right into using it. Good video lessons to get started

Cons: Poor Customer Service Inventory management needs work. You have to enter all your inventory into their spreadsheet template and doesn't track some of the things we need for our store.

Comments: If you put the time into learning the system, it will fulfil any business need you may have. The system will perfect what I need.

Pros: Remote access allows me to work on the business but not having to be there. Once learned the system does everything I could ever need. The software is brilliant.

Cons: Time is needed to initially set up the system but with training, this isn't a massive issue. Sometimes customer service has longer than ideal wait times but the issue is always resolved once you speak to someone.

Pros: Cost and easy set up is a bout the only pro to this system. Was able to purchase system and get it install within a couple weeks.

Cons: We purchased this system for our new restaurant 3 months ago. We have had problems from day one. Problems with the system communicating with the credit card company(that they recommended), which has resulted in bank accounts being off and customers getting charged multiple times on tips. We have had problems with their CLOUD dropping menu items, printers not working and several other issues. We payed for customer service and have called several times and can't get a hold of them because their based out of the UK and when we do get a hold of them it sounds like they are in a bar trying to trouble shoot our system. Save your money and go with a different system, I wish we would of.

Pros: My implementation consultant at EposNow was genuinely brilliant at every point of contact. We'd got an incredibly tight deadline to have our till systems up and running, which, without her help, we'd have had no hope of achieving. She was personable, understanding and most importantly both clear and efficient. As someone who hadn't had a massive amount of exposure to the EposNow system, she communicated it's functions and features clearly enough that I could then immediately train others extensively and to an intermediate standard. Comments: Overall i rate this the best fair priced POS system available with good support.

Pros: - Great front office (terminal) - Own backoffice module, so you can review sales, edit settings etc, manage inventory - Smooth for full touchscreen devices. Software only or full hardware bundle available - Connected to your system from everywhere. Even on your smartphone. - Easy handeling of functions, they also have a guide me assistant to get started if you are a novice. - Apps store to expand your system by your own needs

Cons: - Have to enter items manually. They do have a import module you can buy as a subscription. Can get expensive if you add all those subs in total. this should have been included in the system, at least a simple import feature. - The app store needs to be open to third party developers

Pros: I purchased this POS system back in June in anticipation of opening my convenience store. There wa a delay in the start of my business I was not able to setup my system and implement my training in the original time frame allotted. When I was finally able to setup, which was months later, when I contacted EPOS they were beyond helpful. The license that I have does not come with phone support, but the tech team has went above and beyond to help me get the setup over the phone regardless. I love the interface of the software and the versatility that it provides. I am truly enjoying using it and really like `guide me¿ and the App Store.

Cons: Sometimes it is difficult to get through to a technican and I do not always receive a response to tickets that I raise.

Comments: We are extremely happy with our purchase overall. The solution is leagues beyond our previous POS software and the cost to switched worked out to be less that the cost to upgrade.

Pros: It is a very intuitive software. The step by step guide in the back end made the set up easy and tech support was very quick to respond and address any issues that arose. The look and feel of the system is also very modern both from the front till to the back end reporting. Another plus was that the software and hardware came as a package deal and it was the most cost effective option for our organization.

Cons: Setting up invoicing for customers on account is not particularly user friendly, but part of the problem is that we have a unique set up in that we sell services as well as retail products.

Pros: I am impressed with the Eposnow POS system and service, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to whoever is seriously thinking about a point of sale system. it is one thing to own a system but it is another thing to be able to help when things go wrong (and they sometimes will). Pros: There is a lot of functionality in the software that works well - variants, product cost, and purchase orders.

Comments: Since installation an Epos now system Ito our store the support we have received has been excellent. Whatever the issue you can contact them in many ways with a quick response. They will stick with you until your issue is resolved.

Pros: One of the customer representative has been extremely helpful and courteous today. My information was entered all wrong, and today Lukas helped me understand how to use the system, and offered to untangle the mess that was made.

Pros: My implementation manager was very helpful in explaining how the Loyalty program works within EPOSNow. Our issue was resolved quickly and she took the time to show us how to utilize Promotions for the Loyalty customers.

Comments: Bought this system to improve our expanding business. Bought Bulk import App as an addition to our Espo system. This app absolutely ruin the whole system: deleted suppliers from the product, created duplicates and so on. It was a nightmare to complete purchase orders. We address the issue to our account manager. Days on waiting and no answer nor resolution. Chasing the case on the phone, hours spent on the phone explaining the situation then have to proof that this is not working. As the result .....we were told we will be refunded and we cannot use this app. All of the entries we will have to do manually.

Cons: No resolution at all to the situation. Beware of that. You have to chase for the resolution that might not be there.

Pros: He helped me set up 2 of my printers and fire open my cash drawer. His service was very streamlined and he told me it was his first day, he did a good job for that.

Comments: The product has most of what I was looking for in a POS system. I looked at and went demos for 4 others and they were all missing so much compared to the cost. Epos Now was affordable and even though there are a few changes I would make, the potential is there. I have been very happy with my system from the product itself to the customer service.

Cons: I wish the system had an actual layaway program so that the monies received for the product were accounted for at the end of the day. Pros: Lewis the EPOS Engineer was absolutely brilliant. I cannot stress enough how patient and helpful he was. He was very clear in his instructions and answered all our questions really comprehensively. He was easy to approach and has a superb professional manner. We have staff at all levels and he was able to advise all of them at their level. He was absolutely brilliant!

Cons: We would like a report that shows what has been sold within a set date range. At the moment we can get information by category but would like to run a report per product in each category. This can be done by exporting the information to excel at the moment but we would like an easier way to do this.

Pros: We were having problems using our receipt printer but we call in to David and he was able to remote in to our system and get our printer up and running and set us up with the booking app for our business.

Cons: Their Customer Service is terrible. They will not keep appointments, never return any support ticket requests, and never call back when they say they will. I purchased this 2 weeks ago and it is still not up and running. I emphasized how important it was to get up and running before the 2nd quarter and that message went in one ear and out the other. Pros: Great stock management system has enabled me to gain information I never even thought of before! I am able to track my best sellers and worst and see profit margins across my product lines. The sales team were great the whole way through and when my hardware arrived someone from the support team called me and had my full system setup in 10 minutes...it doesn't get better than that

Cons: I would like a few more options for running promotions but they have a great section in the software where customers can vote for new features, again amazing service!

Recommendations to other buyers: This has been perfect for my cafe and would highly recommend to anyone else in this industry, I couldn't imagine operating without it now!

Pros: My implementation consultant was an absolute star - to be fair all the staff I have dealt with are brilliant but as my implementation consultant was responsible for my training then of course most of the praise goes to her. Lovely professional personality - great positive frame of mind. Very well spoken, clear and easy to understand - a total joy! I shall be purchasing another till from this company for my other business. DO NOT HESITATE - this company knocks spots of the other companies. Seriously - don't go anywhere else.

Pros: Customer service technician helped greatly with all of my issues regarding the Epos staff management.

Cons: I am waiting for the launch of the new updated version of the app which I am told comes in July

Pros: After dealing with some express and direct epos dimwit's these guys brought a ray of light to what I thought was going to be a dark and expensive failure. Epos Now helped me set up in minutes and one of the customer reps. was more than helpful in showing me around the various functions of their software. EXTREMLEY helpful & I would recommend these guys to anyone else looking to get their business up & running with an Epos system.

Cons: Previously had a poor experience with other epos providers but am very happy with the service from epos now.

Unbelievably Poor sales tactics and Customer Service.

Comments: I was sold this at a time when I clearly stated it was of no use but told I had a free month and that it was £p/month then after a month or two when I was set up I could come down to £. I was told the best solution for me was an izettle card reader and so I signed up as IU'd been considering taking card payments for some time. Firstly, the first month wasn't free! I was extremely busy moving into a new premises and never even used the software. In the second month after finding out the £ was before VAT (no one told me) and I still hadn't used the system I finally spoke to an adviser who told me i was to receive training etc. I agreed a time and there was no call back on that date and that time. Time's money and that time were now gone. What's more iZettle wouldn't authorise an account for me and wouldn't state why. When I informed Epos Now I was informed that they wouldn't take my card reader back and it was to be returned to iZettle. iZettle however (surprise surprise and understandably) said the opposite. I cancelled £ down and asked that I be refunded for the first month and the card reader. I was told I would not be refunded, not for the free month, nor for the card reader. To be honest, I'm actually astonished at this. The company sold me something which has never been used and is no use to me and won't accept it back despite their name being on the receipt. You can make of that what you will . Would I recommend it? Based on my experience...? Definitely not!

Pros: It's potential

Cons: Dodgy sales tactics and poor customer service.. Very poor!

Recommendations to other buyers: I wouldn't bother!

Pros: excellent support representative! He answered all of our questions very quickly and efficiently while resolving all of our problems. He also recommended a few options that would benefit us using the Eposnow POS system. I could tell that he knew what he was talking about and am confident that he would be able to help our company with any other problems or questions that would arise in the future!

Cons: I do not have much time to get everything setup. I wish I could get this system set up a bit faster.

Pros: I have literally never had a better customer service experience than i have with Epos Now. Our business is unique and was always going to throw up some teething problems implementing the software but their friendly attentive service and attention to the tiniest detail or issue was incredible. I can not recommend EposNow enough after having such a terrible experience with Intelligent POS. Thanks to customer representatives and the rest of the team for their professional and superb service.

Pros: customer service agent did a fantastic job during my one-day training course. Before the training day the system seemed quite difficult to navigate however now a week later I'm really enjoying using the system and can see why it's regarded as one of the best in the market. What's been the most impressive about them is that after the training was finished he wasn't uncontactable, via email he has helped me with numerous queries after the training which is above and beyond what I expected!

Comments: they have a little bug like the layout in forgetting password page. and it's sometimes not a clear button like the sign in if you at sign up page.

Pros: epos have massive feature will satisfy the most of your need, you can do a lot of things and didn't affect the usability too much. and the branding, color is great.

Cons: the style is little boring but we can say it's function. there are a lot of blue everywhere. not easy to start to use i think they need little improve in user experience and more improve in user interface

Comments: was very nice and i cant thank her enough for getting our inventory in as fast as we have been sending it she was awesome thank you

Pros: Our implementation manager jessica was very helpful and understanding with us she was able to answer all of the questions we ask her she walked us through all of our back office and showed us how everything worked then she walked us through our pos side also
