Sometimes minor language barrier, but nothing major that cannot be overcome. Australian/UK english is a bit different than American english.

It's been great. I have a small restaurant in a truck stop. We used to handwrite our tickets. The wait staff and our cashier would have to run back to the kitchen to place the order. Now press a button and help someone else. We used to hand-calculate all our checks as well. With this system, there are no more mistakes.

Pros

Works well for our needs at a great price! When I call (which is not often) for help, the customer support is outstanding. The reports are very useful in helping me run my business. It also cuts down on mistakes on the bill.

Cons

When first setting up our menu, it took a little getting used to the thought process of the program but, that was probably more of a me thing.

We signed up with Payment Services (Account \[sensitive content hidden\]) on a 12-month agreement, based on a quoted 0.55% card processing rate during the sales process. During the contract term, this rate was increased to 0.8%, representing a 45% increase. This change materially altered the commercial basis on which we entered into a fixed-term agreement. We have raised this formally with Epos Now under support ticket \[sensitive content hidden\] and currently seeking clarification on: \* The contractual clause relied upon for the increase \* Whether termination is permitted without penalty \* Access to the sales call recording where pricing was discussed This has been a frustrating experience for a small business, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering these services ensures all prices assurances are confirmed in writing, particularly for fixed-term contracts. Hoping this can be resolved fairly.

Pros

The original setup with the sales team and the support team setting up the system was satisfactory.

Cons

Huge price increase during mid contract. Felt this was not justified, plus the turnover was more than the previous year.

Excellent, very easy to use and setup. Great reporting and customer service! Staff is literally trained in a hour to use.

Pros

Great security and customer support! Very easy to use and has clear instructions when errors are made. Training others to use was a breeze.

Cons

If used daily the screen wears and starts to burn image though in just 4 years use. To replace is much more expensive then the original.

I'm happy that I got it I was using another system and I could not get any support from them and if the guy came out to do anything he over charged me for anything he done.

Pros

customer support was very important to me because I was not very familiar with POS and I needed a lot of help which they gave me. The setup was easy and it has helped me to keep track of my sales better. It also helps me know what product is selling the best.

Cons

I am still learning the system and the things it can do. The only issue that I can think of is that I use I menu for all my streaming and it will not work on this POS.

I can have all my business products in the app and easy to manage inventory also it is easy to use just scan the barcode and I have all my products and sales data at hand

I have two shops and I had to have 2 separate accounts to manage the 2 shops, if I could have the two shops together and flick between shops would be more easy for reporting

been with EPOSnow in one form or another since they started. from the original system to now is amazing - it's really intuitive. any queries are resolved so easily and the staff are really professional but still friendly. as with all systems like this there are little bits that we needed help with and this was sorted quickly and easily

the support is amazing. really easy to get through to and answers so quickly. payments are in our account the next day. the monthly subscription is much cheaper than other systems we use.

the till is tall and our smaller member of staff has to reach up (as cons go this is not really one)

### "Promising on paper... but fails on all counts"

Just 6 months in with eposnow and a very rocky start, eposnow have increased their payment processing fees for credit cards by 68% with the only justification being that this is allowed according to the contract. Competitive fees were used to make a sale - and many promises were made that the system is tailored for use in my industry - I run a busy restaurant. The system fails in many ways for the industry being tailored to a retail point of sale "payment at purchase" model - and every time I have raised a deficiency in the system for my industry I am simply told "that is the way it works" and that I can make a request for change. After 38 days I am still having to fight to try and get someone, anyone in eposnow to discuss this with me and help me find a solution. To date, I have not been able to speak to anyone. I cannot recommend eposnow to anybody in any industry as from my experience, they have a complete disregard for their customers and fail to provide any level of account management or support.

Pros

Good sales process. Range of equipment and devices available. Marketing material sells system very well.

Cons

Sales process promises but reality does not deliver. Marketing material false - the system does not work well for certain indusries. Support and customer management is non-existant.

I loved it, great value for money and helped in data collection which was used in making informed business decisions

It was user friendly, I was easily able to train my staff to use it. The monthly £20 payments made it extremely affordable regarding the quality of service I was getting. Sales were easy review on a Monthly basis because of the reports being generated.

Cons

Customer support was slightly slower if you weren’t located in the Uk as most of the support was done virtually and the time difference hindered real time support needs.

Easy to set up great support, always someone available at the end of a phone to support, and a quick response which is rare

Cons

Card machine when you take a payment it does not make any noise, you can only use one card machine to take transactions from the pos system

### "Eposnow. A review from a genuine trader"

We were using a cash register which was fine, but quite fiddly to update. We were basically given our Epos system second hand. Overall we are very pleased with it and Eposnow in general. The biggest issue we had was using the 'credit card machine', which had an intermittent. For various reasons and probally not all Epos's fault, the problem did go on for a bit. But Eposnow, along with our Internet provider did their best, It was finally solved when we had a particular Card Terminal sent to us. Since then it has worked fine. There was a problem when trying to print out our monthly reports. Eventually Eposnow realised what the issue was, and that has now been resolved. I would recommend Eposnow to anyone. It is full of features, many of which we don't need. The company are great to work with.

Pros

The system is generally easy to use. It can't be rushed, I've managed to do the set up without much help. I only ever contact support for something that is totally out of my control. I love the fact I can make any alterations to the 'Till' from my home computer. Customer service is always friendly and polite. I must truthfully say customer service can not 'Immediately' solve all problems, BUT we have NEVER been left without a working system, as an ex electronics service engineer is understandable and expectable.

Cons

As an Embroidery business, I find the Stock Control difficult to get to grips with. The examples they give are basically in the hospitality sector, so I've decided to give it a miss.

Our overall experience at The Pier Tavern has been very positive. has helped us streamline operations, improve reporting accuracy, and train staff with ease. While there’s a minor drawback around user permissions, the benefits far outweigh it. We’d happily recommend Epos Now to other businesses looking for a reliable, user-friendly EPOS system with excellent support.

Pros

At The Pier Tavern, we’ve found to be incredibly intuitive and easy to use. It’s made staff training straightforward and daily operations much more efficient. The system has proven to be very reliable, and the reporting functions in the back office are excellent — clear, comprehensive, and ideal for tracking sales and performance. The standout, however, has been the customer service, which has been consistently exceptional. Any issues or queries have been handled quickly and professionally.

Cons

The only real frustration is with the staff clocking in and out feature. Unfortunately, this function can’t be used without also giving staff access to till functionality, which isn’t ideal for team members like kitchen staff or runners who don’t need that level of access. It would be great if these permissions could be separated.

### "Great products and service"

We were looking for a Till system that would give us a reasonable ability to control stock levels whilst speeding up the service to our customers. We looked at other service providers and have not been sorry about our choice in investing with EPOSNOW. We have since upgraded to 2 tills and 3 card readers Very Good. When you had a system outage was back up and running in less than 60 minutes

Nice and easy to use . Good customer service Good technical help desk fully integrated tills in with card readers

Cons

Not too easy to get your quantity set up with for example bottle, 125ml , 175ml and 250ml wines we just put in as a full bottle as not mastered it yet

Pros

It’s easy to use, customer support are always friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. No question is ever too much trouble. Being able to colour code categories etc is good for the eyes.

Cons

Connectivity to card machine dips in an out sometimes doesn’t connect to the till. This could be an internet issue as it flashes on the screen ‘internet connection lost’ momentarily before being ok.

My experience has been great started off a few years ago and upgraded to a more upto date system The suport after sales and technically is very good The sales Team were great and set everything up

Pros

I like the system as it’s user friendly and easy to use once it’s set up very secure and great all payments are built into the system All the credit card payments go through the till system and makes it really quick and safe Great value for money The system can deal with all your accounts and makes it easy to look after the transactions

Cons

Nothing really the overall way the sales Team and the technical Team dealt with my purchase was second to none

### "VERY BAD EXPEREIENCE"

Cons

Very bad experience with EPOSNOW. They constantly create trouble for loyal customers and seem more interested in collecting extra payments than providing support. We worked with them for a year and found their service to be unhelpful, unreliable, and frustrating. When we decided to cancel the subscription, they ignored our requests and still charged us for two additional months. No proper communication, no respect for customers — just excuses. It’s clear that money matters more to them than customer satisfaction. I would not recommend EPOSNOW to anyone.

### "Good start up system"

As a new start up business it has been able to offer what we have needed and we have had very few issues with it.

Pros

easy to use. offers good interaction with customers. payments have been quick and straight forward. good interface between til and card reader.

Cons

some pages take a little longer to load that I would like. i struggle to duplicate a product. Some of the tabs on the add product page are not easy to follow.

Overall experience is outstanding from initial reaching out to the sales team, and then onboarding has been top-notch notch

Pros

fast payment processing, low rates and good customer service support. every time you call for customer support, you get a human service rather than AI or self-guided FAQs

Cons

The rates could be better, and the till could have more product description features. I feel the Till is more geared towards fast-moving consumer goods compared to the clothing retail business

### "Brilliant EPOS System"

Been using it for 10 years, any issues have quickly dealt with. Phone help has improved absolutly ten fold.

Pros

Easy to use and finding your way around. The overall design is good, appealing and user friendly. Would recooment to anyone.

Cons

Some of the new look could do with some tweeks. Overall we are pleased with the software and the EPOS units themselves.

Good, no issues low maintenance and does everything we need it to. Would recomend to a new business.

Pros

Sales very straight forward and easy to use. easy to train new staff in both sales and cashing up. very secure payments and notification of sales each day

Cons

Back office not very user friendly. Difficult to understand stock input system and stock take. Training courses would be helpful

good and clear but the waiting time was too long but fair that does not help that much when you have customers waiting.

about my license the support was smooth the payment was delayed but case was solved and up running but the payment system not working

the reaction of the team, but the remote-control system or support was not working, need more support when needed

### "Amazing service"

Amazing i wouldnt use any other company now. The systems are quick and dont ever have any issues at all

Pros

Amazing service and tracking across stock. Fast payouts and never any issue recieving the money the next day. Would reccomend to anyone in the industry

Cons

Nothing. The service is top quality. A little more on site training could be provided but the system is easy to work out.
