It gives the host more command over the audience and encourages interactions, which usually is a major headache when hosting any online events. Cons I feel like it is a bit hard to get people to go to the networking lounge. In physical events, people tend to mingle and chat spontaneously, but online chat rooms often feel like putting people under the spotlight and many will shy away from that. Our past events were more like a one-way webinar but this product allows us to be connected and build community in a more effective way with the features of networking lounge, speed networking, instant chat, member badges, etc. Our teams across Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore love the experience a lot and thank you for creating a great product with both professional and lively vibe. Pros The networking feature is the most unique one among all other event tools. Also It's a one-stop event management tool that helps us to streamline our operations -- from email marketing, event registration, speaker management, networking, chats, event analytics, etc. Very user-friendly and beautiful interface. The team has been super helpful in making sure we have a great experience and understanding our event needs afterward. Definitely a great help to organizations with monthly events to manage. In a gist, it can: Create event registration form; Support credit card payment for tickets; Integrate registrants from other promo channels like Eventbrite; Send out personalized confirmation and reminder via email and SMS; Smoothen check-in process; Print out badges; Send out thank you email and survey. I really like their Check-In app which can project real-time check-in statistics, which is really helpful when reporting such figures to management with breakdown on guest category, and to see which guests are VIP so the staff at reception counter know which badges to hand out. Check-in can be done via QR code scanning, searching on guest name or company name, and it also supports walk-in registration. Another great feature is the "Bulk Update", meaning guest details can be updated in bulk immediately, but not edit the details one-by-one. This is especially important for event organizers who always need last minute change and want to get it done without waiting a third-party agent to respond. Cons Not really. EventXtra has helped tremendously, and with a very clear and user-friendly interface anyone should be able to use it without much guidance. Just some tips - 1) Remember to update the check-in app on mobile device and make sure it's the latest version. 2) When in doubt when using the tool, it's worth to check-out their FAQs, which is actually quite detailed and probably gets answered faster than calling up a CS rep.
