Nope Business Supplies and Equipment Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Don't, just don't" January 7, 2022 1.0 Pros Quick, easy install. Account creation was quick too but they require a phone number, that's a red flag. Cons Where to begin? First, it does indeed show up in the task manager and I spotted it immediately even though they do make a minor effort to hide it. Anyone who is tech savvy will see it. Second (and worst of all), when I signed up, my password was sent to me in clear-text which tells me they are performing zero password hashing on their end. This would allow the company to retrieve your password and monitor your computers as easily as you do (this is a serious security violation). The dashboard is slow and hangs a lot, the videos don't play and the logs are mashed together. If you download and install a few of these keylogger suites, you get the impression that they are all one company, using different names. This one Spyrix look identical when installed. The problem was that I’d noticed some departments got less productive so I needed to change something in the company’s business process. My IT department installed the program on all company computers within an hour so I can say that the installation is super quick and easy. Further, the app recorded all user activities and showed them to me in graphs and charts so i could check every worker’s productivity. The app helped me detect slackers in several departments and boost their productivity. Pros "Quick and easy installation; recording of visited websites and used apps; tracking of active and inactive time; attendance recording (the app shows when the computer was turned on and off); live viewing of computer screens. " Cons I believe that the price could be a bit lower for a small number of computers. And I would love to have more time to test the program - the trial is too short for me. Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Makes company owner's life easier" August 26, 2016 4.0 The decision to implement this kind of system in my office, was probably one of the best I have made for my business. A friend of mine who is also a business owner, but with more employees, also uses a system like that, but a more expensive one. So after hearing from him about it, I decided to get one as well. I chose CleverControl mostly because it offered fully-featured free version, so I was able to test out all functions first, and the license was not as expensive as this software can be. And it does do a very good job with keeping all activity off all 18 of my office computers. I can see who is idle and who is the most hardworking. It turned out that one of my new young employees, whom I thought of as not too hard-working, is one of the most productive staff members in the company so far. She is just not too vocal about her work progress. For a head of a small company this program makes it very easy to find truth in case any incident ever happens in the workplace, because you are often the one who makes all decisions. Pros Fully-featured trial, both time tracking and detailed reports on activity, easy to work with, really useful for a head of a company, who is involved in staff's work lives. Cons The installation is easy enough, but at first I found it hard to navigate the online account. Executive Director Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Good software" September 9, 2016 4.0 I am not too concerned about employees using social media from time to time or get distracted from the computer because I do understand that it is impossible to work for 8 hours straight in front of a screen. But at the same time, I wanted to see if any of the staff members tend to abuse their right for coffee breaks and snack time. And with this software, it is easy to do. I can see full statistics of each employee - most visited websites, most frequently used applications and Google searches. So far with this program, I found that all of my company's employees work very well and none of them are too idle at work. I was planning to hire a few more people, but put this idea on halt for the time being, because after using CleverControl I realized that the current number of people is enough. Manager Design Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Good instrument for monitoring new employees" September 22, 2016 4.0 In summer we hire a lot of additional staff for 3-4 months, and they work on our office computers under temporary user accounts we create for them. So we needed a program that can monitor certain accounts on a PC. We read a few reviews about CleverControl and decided to try it. It worked just perfectly for us, we chose all new accounts for monitoring, and could see everything the new employees did during their working time. It was very important to make sure, that they understand the tasks and do not accidentally gain access to sensitive information. We initially wanted to use the program temporarily, but we will keep using it on all office computers. Pros Site Blocker by category and by URL - I can block any website or a whole group of websites. As a small business owner, for me the cost is the priority, that's why I decided to try free programs first, and then maybe get a paid one. In addition, I am not very 'computer savvy'. I found CleverControl to be very simple and very inexpensive to use. I can check on my employees in the office even remotely from my home, which is a big advantage. Also the program is very useful - the very moment I announced that we will have this kind of system installed, the discipline went right up. With all the features, that are included in the free version, I found out that a lot of working time my employees spent on personal business, like visiting YouTube or Facebook, while also managing to do their work well. So it helped me to realize that my staff is capable of much more, if I give them the right amount of work to do. Pros Simple to use Many useful features Free Cons Can't really find any in a free program. Although 'Alerts by keywords' function would be very useful in such a program as CleverControl. There have been only 5 employees in my company for a couple of years, but recently we started hiring so I decided to get an employee tracking system, mostly to make sure that the new people are competent and adjusting well. So I came by CleverControl which was free to me as an under 9 staff members company owner and after brief use I think that the product is great. I installed on all computers and now I can see what all my staff do during working time. The software is easy to work with, and I can check on my company even on business trips. It really helped with efficiency and keeping up with deadlines, after I notified all employees about the installation. I will keep using the program even when we get more than 9 computers because the pricing looks reasonable and the program is definitely worth the money. Review Source ML Marc L. I figured out how to set it up quite quickly. Most time I spent installing the agent application on my employees' 5 computers. It took a total of about 15 minutes. In the first day of using this application I got a pretty good understanding of what my employees do during the day. I notified all of them that I will use this application. I installed to test for free for a couple of weeks and then purchased because it had everything I needed. The price is not bad it was appropriate for my small company. Pros Very convenient activity graphs, which is called Dashboard in the online account. I can see most used applications for each employee or all across the office. Website blocking. No need to buy or install separate web-filters on computers to stop people from using social networks or shopping websites. Time tracking. For each employee I can see full working day activity, when they were late or out of the office for too long. Cons The program cannot send reports to email, only online.
