Comments: Salesforce offers many excellent products regarding data management. A good value for the money and a fantastic product if you invest in time (and money of necessary) to receive continued training, learning to know and understand all of the benefits of this wonderful sales tool.

Pros: I have used both Phone Burner and data management tools from Salesforce. They provide an excellent product at a very competetive price.

Cons: The products have many features are sometimes hard to find without proper training. I also noticed with Phone Burner that it crashed or I had to reboot a few times per day... but I was able to call over 800 numbers per day with their single line dialer, so I was working it hard.

Comments: seems great so far!

Pros: the follow up capability for sales, the oragnization of the data and how easy t ocomminucate iwth co workers on projects to cut down on emails texts.

Cons: the complication of the process and fields, more than we need, but the good par is we can take away anything we do not need

Pros: The ability to distill vital information across any number of fields and employees into usable data for management.

Cons: Bloated, needs customized often and is expensive to manage. Simple tasks require slow manual updating and waiting to be completed if SF is being used properly. Field teams often end up only using the features they absolutely have to use by company mandate, and manage their actual workflow independently.

Overall: Management awareness seems better, but it's really only translating the data that is fed by the field teams, so if the teams don't fully adopt, the data loses value. Teams consistently fight full adoption.

Pros: Customized dashboard so that when you log in, the tool¿s dashboard gives you a huge range of report widgets in which you can select what you want to view each time you log in

Cons: For some of the smaller businesses, pricing may be an issue. Although the support and solution center offers affordable prices even for small businesses, it can still be a heavy expense

Pros: Web interface is slick and easy to use. The interface with the other software is seamless and worked really well. Quick login protocol

Cons: without internet the software does not work. Would be good to be able to have a mini local copy on a computer or other device.

Pros: I used mainly email automation. The best part about it was how flexible and customizable it was - you can set up triggers however you need to, set up dynamic content using their proprietary Ampscript which is very easy to learn, you can paste in straight-up HTML and it does not mangle it like so many EMSs do.

Cons: Its strength is its weakness. Even setting up a very basic trigger to actually send an email seems very complicated, and it's nerve-wracking every time you need to send something manually.

Overall: The biggest benefit was being able to control the email HTML so I could make things responsive. So many other EMSs change your code so much it no longer works once people actually receive it.

Pros: I like that is is simple to use. The platform is built for easy navigation, and it is easy to find what you are looking for within the website. You may need to ask your employer for help to understand the website, but once he gives you the basics then the rest is easy.

Cons: I wish the SQL version of the software would be updated to include the newest features of SQL. There are several functions that would allow my company to make processes easier if the latest SQL was used.

It is not just a Sales and support tool as the name suggests. It is much more than that.

Pros: The cloud based functionality is mature and easy to use and there are a lot of features available some of which I haven't explored yet since I started using it. Readily available Email templates are just great.

Cons: The mobile interface needs some work. Sheer amount of configurations available might make someone overuse it and later re-implement the whole thing. My fault rather than the system's.

Overall: The sales and CRM data was highly distributed in our case and Salesforce helped aggregate all of it under one umbrella.

Pros: It covers almost all aspects one would need from a CRM. We use it at a global level to consolidate leads and can cross reference sales teams in different geographies.

Cons: It is sometimes too elaborate and we were unable to use it for sub businesses which required lesser information as junior sales staff was working on it.

Overall: All global sales leads in one place. Its really helpful in consolidating as well as strategizing sales.

Salesforce was brought in as a demo at my previous employer. It was great!

Pros: I love the ease of use and how simple it is to use on a tablet. I also love how responsive it was. It would pull my data on the fly, very quickly.

Cons: There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the software - but my company ended up not going with it because they claimed it was too expensive.

Pros: Multiple areas to save information, set reminders, and generate reports. The reports are easy to customize and very versatile. It helps me do my job better

Cons: Having to frequently log back into the system although that may be an internal security company setting. Toggling through pages may also be a better way to review information

Pros: Multiple searchable fields make it easy to search. With just the smallest bit of information regarding a customer or client, you are usually able to locate them.

Cons: I had trouble getting it to work in tandem with other softwares. For instance, documents sent there would need saved and re-uploaded to other areas instead of people to easily to push to a new location.

Pros: I like that you can fit a whole lot of information on each customer/client and track who is making changes. It makes life so much easier for the person using it.

Cons: Because there are so many parts in salesforce, it is hard to learn the program. I had to watch a lot of tutorials and spend a while playing with the software to get the hang of it.

Pros: The social aspect of it and how you can tie salesforce into a lot of other programs. The customizable dashboard is another feature that has been helpful for us.

Cons: Pricing and complexity within the actual program. We've had some issues learning some of the tools that are at our disposal. And being a smaller company, I know the cost is high.

Overall: Tracking of sales opportunities and reports that are able to show us what's in the pipeline as far as product sales or forecasting.

Pros: The classic UI of the software platform seems very user friendly and easy to use. Also it is easy to navigate to each of the tabs like Leads, Opportunities, Campaigns, etc. Searching for features like recird types or creating new default or custom fields doesn't take much time with such flexible UI.

Cons: On switching from classic to lightning experience, the overall UI and UX had a drastic change. Also, for learning the entire platform, for especially a new user it would take really long. Thus, I would suggest to provide walkthrough that could help us reach out to main functionalities in a faster manner.

Overall: It really helps in integrating our product and to understand the functionalities of this platform. There isn't any other CRM software out there in the market that could compete with Salesforce. It has helped me understand what is the relation between every object and their use cases. Also the schema builder and lightning builder are great tools that help in digging in to understand the mapping between each object. This definitely adds more clarity to the whole platform and eases the overall functionalities used.

Pros: Best feature of salesforce is that they have tought about everything. You can do all your business in it, including pricelist, contact management, mailing, mail campaign tracking, opportunities management etc.

Pros: It's very easy to use. Reports are really easy to run and create as well. Getting our admin to add fields is always pretty simple as well.

Cons: It was difficult to learn it at first. Within my organization there are a lot of people who use the classic view. I use the lightening view, because I'm new to the field and didn't have any past experience to bring to it. I find it difficult when talking with peers that are using the Classic view only because I'm not as familiar.

Pros: Very extensive and complicate program which sings for an experienced user with a large reporting suite and good automation capabilities

Cons: Massive learning curve. Extended setup. Didn't work properly with business card scanning software. Expensive, and the additional features were insufficient to justify the cost

Overall: None. We eventually got rid of it and replaced it with a competitor. We have used both free software (adequate) and paid software (worth the additional cost), but Salesforce needs a complete rewrite

Pros: It's completely user-friendly. At first, I was a bit nervous navigating through the system but it was so easy to use!

Cons: There isn't much I don't like about it. I think the only thing I'd improve is to navigate easier in Salesforce. There's a lot of extra unnecessary buttons in sales force. Simplifying it will benefit it in the long run.

Pros: After a little training this software is really easy to use, see all the information about customers. Easy to navigate on and find information as there is lot of ways to search on it.

Cons: The report part is really complicated and some kind of training should be available on the software to explain easily how to use the different parts.

Overall: It's the mandatory software to use, so it's really important to be able to handle it daily. The calendar part is the most usefull on my side.

Pros: Being able to see the list of people that are interested and possibly needing to be informed about promos.

Cons: None, I liked everything about this software. It was very easy to use when your able to see a list of customers you have to inform about the new promos and possibly getting them to switch back to the carrier, very exciting to experience.

Pros: It is easy to use and excellent browser. Because of the simplicity and practicality of the system, it is very easy for new users to master it. I also like how easy it is to organize all our clients and future clients, adding time when giving or making any query.

Cons: The only problem that I could see the program is that it sometimes presents a time problem when multiple potential clients are loaded, when opening new tabs. Sometimes certain Salesforce pages do not register a call in the correct account.

Pros: I like the ease of use and the professional look of the software. Mostly though its customization of reports and ability to store all information for a site. For us we have it store everything anyone could possibly need and it keeps it nice and orderly. Then with the reporting we are able to customize any report to pull exactly the data we need.

Cons: I would like the integration with outlook to be better. I am not able to update a case when sending an email from my outlook. I can forward items to a special mailbox but thats an extra step.

Overall: Ease of use, I can find anything here. We have many customers and Salesforce holds all the information I could possibly need in one location.

Pros:  It is easy to use and with the drag and drop functions, it is easy to design a software without much coding. It keeps me on track and helps me ensure that everything is well attended. I have also been using email templates and RS documents to send specific recurring emails. This is a great help and allows me to dedicate some time to take care of bigger projects, not only are their solutions first class, but their learning platform, Trailhead makes it easy for even the most novice users, from administrators to sales professionals, to learn and adapt to the tool for their daily needs.

Cons: I would like to be able to eliminate the tasks en masse instead of having to click one by one, otherwise it is an excellent program.

Overall: We've saved a lot of time, both in creating custom workflows within Salesforce, and in using Salesforce's reporting dashboard features.

Pros: The customer support is great and responsive. It's great for providing relevant information and is very easy to use. It's a very popular customer relationship management software so there are many reviews/tutorials out there for new users to use.

Pros: Once you understand how your company has the software set up, it's easy to retrieve and change data and track changes. Ability to set up group user profiles to allow access to only what is needed

Pros: I was a beautiful change from the previous system I was working on before the switch to Salesforce. The easy access tabs and availability of the tabs and information was superb. You are able to locate the same thing more than one way on this software.

Cons: The color scheme was a bit much for the bright screen. I wasn't able to experience the platform for longer than a month so I can really provide much of a con at this time.

Pros: I like the ease of the software especially when it comes to editing responses to customers emails. The split screen is also useful so that I down have to move keep on switching screens.

Any feature you see on other CRM services perhaps has been invented by Salesforce and is likely to be on their own platform. Pros: Mention Salesforce and those who have used enterprise software over the past years would know what it is. The business model is based on a pay-as-you-use monthly subscription model which guarantees continuous revenue for Salesforce, which is ideal as continuous income is guaranteed. As for the product itself, Salesforce has become the "king" in CRM and lead generation, so much so that companies like SAP have had to revamp their own product and/or make acquisitions (Calledus, anyone?) to compete against this market leader.
What I like about Salesforce is its user interface - currently second-to-none in my opinion, very easy to use and very intuitive.

Cons: There are many up and coming competitions in this space, each trying to nibble into the billion-dollar industry that Salesforce has garnered. Zoho, Apptivo and even SAP's recently announced cloud only C/4HANA aims to dethrone Salesforce from its current position as the CRM market leader. One gripe I have is the pricing of Salesforce - it is priced at a premium compared to Zoho and Apptivo, and it remains to be seen if SAP's C/4HANA can really compete.

Cons: I'm reasonably proficient with a number of capabilities the program has, but my supervisor and coworkers are not, so it's difficult to convince them to use it.

Pros: It's a leader in the market for a reason; the ability to set up workflows, to respond to sales requests and get an understanding of the customer experience from first contact to purchase is awesome, IF you know how to set it up. I do, and have the people who know both tech and marketing, so in this case it is a powerful tool.

Cons: For those that don't really know marketing or tech, it becomes that tool you brag about but really don't use to its fullest capability. Basically it becomes a glorified autoresponder, tagging a few things and no one gets fired for choosing Salesforce. Pros: Lots of features and options to make it fit your needs
Trailblazer gives you the opportunity to do programming without knowing how to program, so you can build yourself something in house to do a particular flow or task.

Cons: Like many of it's competitors, there are too many features and options that aren't quite what the customers needs or wants, thus requiring you to customize and bring in third party vendors to get the real value out of it. If you fit in their box of what a business is support to work, sure it works out of the box, but in the real world, businesses run differently.
They really should figure out a way to minimize or hide everything that people don't use, to get to a clean slick user interface, having to dig thru tons of menus and options that will never get used.

my salesrep use this for all of their accounts and prospecting.

Pros: It is nice for me as a supervisor to be able to drop in and see what my reps are adding in live time.

Cons: This can be hard to learn at times when we hire a new sales rep, once you get the hang of it, it becomes super easy but can be intimidating when you first log on.

Pros: Salesforce is a tremendous means to maintain data and customer analytics, tracking sales lifecycle.

Cons: Initial use of the system can be overwhelming and confusing. Taking the time to use training tools is critical.

Pros: We use this to manage all of our sales & CRM needs. Love all of the integrations and capabilities that it has.

Cons: It had a bit of a learning curve. It did require some level of training and I did not find it intuitive right off the bat.

I've used salesforce for more than 2 years and I have never had a problem with it.

Pros: It is extremely easy to navigate. It is also very easy for new users to become proficient in it. I also love how easy it is to organize all of your leads.

Cons: Sometimes it takes a long time to load multiple leads at the same time in new tabs. Also sometimes certain salesforce pages won't log a call on the correct account.

Overall: It makes the sales process of vetting, pursuing, and closing leads very simple.

Good, is very useful for maintain task or events in order.

Pros: For meetings, notes and tasks that arise from day to day in the relationship with customers, facilitating a lot of things.

Cons: You must have internet and good electricity for the use of the Software. It has a cost is not a free Software.

Pros: I love how easy it is to customize Salesforce for my organization's needs. We have custom fields, reports and dashboards for every business unit. If used correctly, Salesforce makes sure that any information about prospects and customers is logged and updated so everyone at your company can see every interaction. Make sure you use available apps in the AppExchange to connect other softwares to get the most value. If you tie all business softwares into Salesforce it helps keep everything in one place.

Cons: It can be overwhelming to learn how to code and customize Salesforce. Lightning, their latest release, is much easier than Classic. Make sure you search their user community for answers, it is a great resource for how other organization's have solved problems in Salesforce. Once you get comfortable with custom fields, reports, dashboards, etc. it is really easy to tailor Salesforce to your business needs.

Overall: Salesforce ensures all information is in one place. Every department: Finance, Success, Support, Sales and Marketing uses Salesforce to keep track of customer information and make sure we are working in tandem. As our finance person, I love the reporting and dashboards that let me show our leadership team every important KPI in one place.

Pros: I love how this software can incorporate the tools from other softwares within its platform, i.e. Zoominfo or LinkedIn.

Cons: Editing reports and running queries is not laid out quite as clear cut as the other tools on Salesforce. I believe it could be more user friendly.

A great tool for a nonprofit who has never had a database for donors. Once established, easy to use

Pros: It connects to everything. Don't have much else to day about it on the good side besides the sales and support teams are very nice.

Cons: Everyone uses SalesForce but at the same time most people hate it. And nothing seems to change at SalesForce. They will never admit that SF doesn't do something, but most basic things it doesn't do and the ones that it does is because you hacked it to do it.

Pros: Its easy to use, very custom. You can tailor it to your needs. The standard functionality is great.

Cons: The pricing can very expensive. The standard out of the box alone is very pricey, then all the other additional features

Pros: Helps organize client organizations. Keeps track of full sales cycle easily so you can track lead through contract. Allows you to track all opps for one client easily.

Cons: Basically is a highly functional client organization tracker. But it's not an organization that buys its individuals! Need to have a better way to track individuals so you can assess their buying history and help us figure out best approach to a sale.

Overall: Easy sales tracking tool. Keeps team organized.

Pros: Salesforce was pretty easy to use. It was user friendly for me, and I'd never used a platform like this before.

Cons: Honestly, as "just" the user, I don't think there was anything about Salesforce I disliked. I'm sure my boss, who purchased it and dealt with the "behind the scenes" issues could shed more light on any cons to the software.

Comments: Salesforce is used by our entire company to organize our interactions with customers and potential customers. It provides a central database with which we can house all the necessary information on our customers and prospects. We use it to house Billing information, Keep track of sales activity and opportunities, round-robin leads to our sales reps and track who is a customer.

Pros: Salesforce is a very powerful CRM that can be customized to the needs of the customer. If you are willing to commit the time to it, you can create whatever you need in terms of structure and fields. Salesforce allows you to create detailed processes/workflows. Integrating with a large number of other products in the SAAS industry. Salesforce has a very powerful reporting ability. You can build out dashboards and other views that allow you to keep track of import stats, keeping your team on track with its goals.

Cons: Salesforce is not the most user-friendly CRM and doesn't focus as much on User Interface. When importing large amounts of data to Salesforce it's easy to make errors and dealing with duplicates can be very time consuming and difficult

Pros: Clear timelines for each task.
Ability to link contacts to projects.
Tasks can be shared with multiple people

Cons: Once a timeline is expired, have to manually change to keep task in the list.
Multiple editors in a task can create chaos, so communication about the structure and naming conventions is key!

Pros: super I can implement service level agreements for account-based cases has a fantastic console that allows easy customization to improve the user experience.

Cons: a particular counter is that at the beginning it was difficult for me to understand some of the functions the service is really complicated in the development but when you solve it you can fully enjoy the well thought out functionality
