Pros: All of the data that it shows in a very compact form. It is highly flexible and can cover alot of subject areas

Cons: It has gotten to the point that it requires more IT support than it used to. It also has become more complicated and harder for the business user admin to fully grasp all of its functionality

Pros: There are so many different things you can create with the salesforce engine. It has increased our tracking and sales exponentially.

Cons: It is quite complex and if you don't have time to learn it, you could be stuck using the basics and the basics you might as well go with something cheaper.

Overall: Learning how to implement systems and processes across businesses.

Pros: Salesforce does exactly what you expect it to do, track sales, leads, keep a calendar of calls made and more!
It can help any company big or small track activities in order to meet and exceed goals!

Cons: was not easy as a non admin user to make changes, having to wait for an admin to make basic changes was sometimes very frustrating, such as a bad phone number on a client file.

Overall: This was a great tool for keeping track of sales, helping us reach or exceed goals in terms of sales calls and actual sales.

Pros: It is a good tool when I need to look through first level experiences. It helps me to look back into an issue. This can be crucial to my job.

Cons: Slightly cumbersome to navigate. Pulling up pictures is a chore. In our particular situation we may need to find one picture and everything, including business branding pictures, comes up as pictures so you have to open every one up to find your one picture.

Overall: It is needed for completion of my job. It helps me to get that extra information I need.

Pros: Salesforce can integrate with just about anything! I can push data to my calendar, use sales genie and multiple other things all through salesforce.

Cons: It can be overwhelming! There is quite a bit of data to keep track of and it is not always easy to organize.

Pros: The customizable dashboard is one of the best functionalities that salesforce offers, being able to arrange all those very useful tools as needed is amazing

Cons: The software is a bit complex, yet I guess it must be like that to be able to offer all it does, pricing may be too high.

Pros: The fact that I can get my data from anywhere in the world, and I can log in and have my data restored from the cloud; the ease with which data is stored, I can easily do graphics and tables and download the information to be presented in a chart. The home display which easily shows me how my project is doing. I really like that. Plus the fact that i can customize the tool to even use it to generate and add new knowledge makes it a very great software.

Cons: I think the expense bit drives most people away. It is not easily affordable, and thus it is left for use by large corporates. I wish even small businesses and individual users like me could easily access it.

Comments: The functionality to build out extra sections as well as link to gain sight is great

Pros: salesforce is extremely easy to use and a great way to keep thousands of clients and potential clients¿ information organized.

Pros: I really like all the add-ons, especially for larger companies doing high volume. Salesforce seems to be the most recognized of all CRMs.

Cons: I think that this product gets very expensive very quickly and does not suit the needs for cost-conscious startups.

Sales force was a great software when I worked at Sprint because we were able to bring customers.

Pros: What I liked most about this software is the ease of use and the high level of customization possibility - You can make it specific to a company's needs. I also like the fact it is cloud-based which means that I don't have to worry about the management of the environment where it is hosted.

Cons: I feel like the navigation could be easier. Also, I feel that the UI is dated and clunky. Another con about the software is that if the internet is down or unavailable, you cannot use the software.

Overall: 1. Customer Relationship is much easier.
2. Efficiency in tracking customer leads.

Pros: I love the customization options Salesforce provides .Tracking sales ,customers and invoicing has never been easier and more efficient .

Cons: Like all CRMs worth their salt ,you have to invest a lot of time in exploring the functions in order to get the maximum from the program . It shouldn't be an issue for most businesses ,but a good internet connection is essential for optimum synergy with Salesforce.

Pros: Salesforce is, by far, the most feature packed CRM in the industry. The amount of tools and functionality is endless and suits any major corporation out there wanting a powerful CRM with endless customization options. The newer Lightning UI is much better then the classic look and makes it easier for new users to get started.

Cons: Many deeper functions are in the Classic UI and not available in the Lightning UI. There is no easy way to switch back and forth. If you go to the Classic UI, you get stuck there and can't revert back to the Lightning UI without hours of hunting or Administrator intervention. Salesforce also lacks the basic functionality of being able to do a mass email to all campaign members from the Campaign view. This is such base level functionality that is expected, but not included. Salesforce has known about this for YEARS.

If you are new to CRM, look elsewhere. If you are a large enterprise, this will probably fit well. Unless you are required to use Salesforce, I would wait until they get more functionality built into the Lightning experience so you don't have to switch to the Classic UI.

Overall: We were able to do some mass emails and track them.

Cons: Complexity. For small businesses, Salesforce's greatest strength is also its weakness. Since it is such a robust solution, it is a good choice for many growing small businesses. However, the tool may be overwhelming for those with microbusinesses that do not really need such a complex software solution. This is especially the case for small companies that may not have a dedicated sales staff or already possess their special lead-generation and sales solutions that perfectly work for them.

Pros: Easy to navigate and search for objects. Mobile app is convenient and simple to use too. Great, flexible options to build own lists/reports etc. Lightning UI is an improvement from Classic.

Cons: Can be confusing with too many fields, though this also depends on how your admin structures the objects and fields. Would be better to allow users to customize their own views of the fields to show/hide, not sure if such a feature is available.

Pros: A great help in keeping my team efficient and keeping up-to date with client info/ communication. This way, we can easily gauge the value of the sales prospects. It helps having sales management and activity management in one place to easily check on the progress of everything which helps us meet requirements and communicate these in a timely manner. Being able to see the progress on tasks, it helps in making decisions regarding pursuing other prospects/sales and time management for tasks at hand. I love that it integrates with Google calendar to help me manage all my schedules in one place too

Pros: This program is an all star. It allows to keep track of our leads and keep connnections. This program is great for a person that knows nothing about a client and get a good mental picture before contacting them.

Pros: Salesforce integrates with everything from our website, to our email automation. Without it keeping track of the thousands of people who interact with our content on a daily basis, we would be missing out on so many insights the data can provide.

Cons: The sheer scope of what Salesforce can do is what makes it challenging. You really have to spend a lot of time in it to understand what it is capable of. It's not a con in so much as it's a caveat, you must be prepared to do some work to make Salesforce work for you.

Pros: I like the utility of being able to add, track and monitor the day to day sales statistics and employees to this tool, and be able to generate reports using multiple filters and criteria to identify the sales results and trends in an efficient manner.

Cons: There is nothing which I didn't like about this software. I believe it should come as a bundle with some CRM tool for an overall solution for sales & customer satisfaction based businesses. It provides functionality to use CRM & other tools via easy API integration though.

Pros: The software is super user-friendly. It has built-in functionalities that we did not even know we wanted, and we love that. Example- Mass tagging and sending the tags to email.

Cons: My least favorite thing about this software is the Reports section. I wish the reports section was more user-friendly and more detailed.

Overall: The benefits that our company receives from this software is a user-friendly ATS. It is a great software to hold recruiters accountable with the easy Log a Call functions and notes functions. I can see how many new candidates are added to the system daily and how many contacts/connects my recruiters are contacting daily.

Pros: Lots of functionality and customization options to fit different business models. Chatter is helpful for internal communications and mobile app makes working from the road a breeze.

Cons: The learning curve can be rough depending on your organization's level of support. The reporting offers a ton of options but not as user-friendly or easy to visulize as other tools.

Pros: This platform allows us to manage our sales leads very efficiently, we have been able to automate much of our marketing as a result of this platform. We have been able to identify our account production, track our new leads and tailor our campaigns directly to the needs of our clients.

Cons: The system has a steep learning curve and at times it can be a little unclear. The standard login dashboard must be configured to allow you to understand the output more. Salesforce has a very steep learning curve and can be very confusing at times. The software isn't cheap, especially for start-ups or new businesses.

Salesforce is a wonderful CRM!

Pros: I absolutely love that there are trailheads to help teach you about all the ways that you could optimize the platform to best fit your business needs!

Cons: If you aren't a developer, it can be a bit tricky to setup the proper environments, BUT - there are trailheads to help set you up. Theoretically this means anyone can set it up.

Overall: Excellent for tracking sales pipeline and future opportunities.

SalesForce is a powerful CRM tool that can help you grow your business!

Pros: Multiple users can access all of the company's customer records and prospect records to help eliminate wasted or duplicate efforts.

Cons: It is on the expensive side, so you might look at a more affordable program like Zoho CRM. And SalesForce may not be as adaptable to your needs as some other CRM programs.

Overall: SalesForce is great for keeping control of contact with your customers and prospects.

Pros: Salesforce keeps me and my team on track with following up customers and job opportunities. I especially like that anyone on my team can pick off where someone else left off by reading previous notes.

Cons: Entering contacts after a trade show is time consuming. I'm looking into a card reader to help cut down on the entering time.

It's overcomplicated for most of the companies I've worked for.

Pros: It has a lot of customization options; the data it can store is in-depth, and the reports are very sophisticated

Cons: It's overcomplicated for many of the companies I've worked for; and it's substantially more expensive comparing to other CRMs. Customer service is terrible (online ticketing system is fine, but they only provide technical support), and any time I ask for any advice, they'll advertise their paid monthly customer care to me; they gave me a taster, and the premium care doesn't resolve any issue, although they do spend their own, and my time.

I use this at work and it is our lifeline. It takes some time to master but once you do, it's easy.

Pros: I like how centralizing it is. We work with a lot of data and information, and being able to store it one place is essential to our efficiency. It's simple to refer to salesforce for the information stored. The add-ons make it all the more encompassing.

Cons: There are some quirks to work out. I don't understand what duplicated files means, for example, and I don't know how to avoid it. The aesthetics are also pretty unexciting, but that matters more to others than it does to me.

Pros: The largest sales CRM available on the market today. There are 1000's of add on apps you can leverage to make your business more productive and efficient. They were the pioneers for working in the cloud and their ability to customize their solution to meet more then just sales demands is incredible. Salesforce.com is the Bentley of sales CRM's no doubt.

Cons: Expensive! I feel like every little add on or additional service is an extra charge. If you are a small business and not a huge enterprise, I feel like salesforce could care less about your business. Their hourly rates for customized services is expensive and the clock is always on with them. There are free CRM platforms that can do most of the same thing saleforce.com can do and care more about your business.

Overall: I grew up in the sales ranks working and using Salesforce.com so I am loyal to the platform. If it was cheaper I would use it more often or if I was the Chief Revenue Officer of a company, I might consider buying it for my sales team simply because it is a proven platform that can scale quickly and easily. But I'm not CRO and I prefer a more simple UI and lets functionality and more simple process. For smaller start ups or mid size companies with 5 to 10 sales professionals I would consider another platform, for enterprise teams with over 50 to 500 sales people, salesforce.com is a home run.

Pros: Great at tracking sales opportunities and pipeline. The force.com platform seems to have a robust array of additional offerings. I know it does more, but we only have licenses for our sales and marketing teams at this point.

Cons: Love to roll build on the solution to have it be used beyond sales, but the seat license seems expensive and the cost to hire an integration partner is high. We spent a ton of money on a consulting firm that SF recommended to integrate FinancialForce, and the deployment failed. It crippled our company. I've heard FinancialForce has improved. We were a VERY early adopter.

Overall: Good sales management

Use Salesforce on a daily basis. I love salesforce and can't do my job without it. It's easy to use!

Pros: This crm is very robust and though a little overkill for businesses just starting out, it is so complete that if the money is there to invest, a business owner can't go wrong as the return on investment will easily pay for the program.

Pros: I like the ability to track my sales pipeline. It is very easy for an excel spreadsheet to get out of hand but in salesforce you can create a clear pipeline view that is filtered by next steps or close date or whatever. You can do this in excel but it is much more difficult to manage. Furthermore, in SalesForce you can create reports that can help identify certain past/stagnant opps that you may want to reapproach.

Cons: The reporting function can be amazing but can also be a major drag. At times it lacks the ability to add certain factors. It has opportunities as separate items than accounts and contacts (which makes sense), but when you want to make a report that looks at accounts (that are tied to opportunities), oftentimes you cannot filter for specific characteristics of the opportunities. I am no coder so I'm not sure how complex this would be to design, but it sure can be frustrating.

Overall: It helps me organize my sales pipeline both for me and for my team - my bosses and the person who works under me all are on the same page with my opportunities which allows them to do their job better.

Pros: Salesforce is almost something you have to have if you sell or work with customers in any capacity. The ability to manage the customer relationships and the information related to them is essential and needed to maintain customer records and upcoming sales opportunities. Recently we were able to connect the contact form on our website to Salesforce which helps to maintain those records of who has contacted us. There seem to be endless add-ins like this that can manage a variety of integrations.

Cons: The integrations and add-ins that are available, although numerous and helpful, can be a bit overwhelming. As far as my experience, I haven't had alot of luck finding some support for someone that can lead you through using these. I think their is definitely a higher level of technical knowledge required to utilize all the features.

Cons: I think it's almost TOO specialized for what I need. I'm not a huge company, so it has more features than what's needed for me.

I use Salesforce to complete quality reviews on my employees. It is clear and easy to use.

Pros: I like that the software allows the reviews to be broken down by specific categories. The employees are able to clearly see which aspect of their claim is being reviewed and where their opportunities are.

Cons: I wish that the software was a little bit faster to use as I have to complete a large amount of reviews each month.

Pros: A well grown platform in the industry where quality is a big factor. Great for enterprises that want to handle the sales with ease. It good to have everything by hand with the mobile app.

Cons: Mobile app is not super reliable, some things are not accessible. Sometimes it feels like you need alot of support to use the software (training)

Pros: Task management and opportunity logging feature really help provide a personalized sales experience to other customers. It has allowed me to be better at selling and customizing everyone's needs

Cons: You're at the mercy of your company to update to new features. Salesforce classic lacks an incredible amount of features compared to lightning.

Pros: Lots of direct connection to other Salesforce softwares and being a massive software company, they have the ability to scoop up any software companies that integrate well with their system.

Cons: Just don't understand how Salesforce can be a powerful tool when their CRM system itself has the worst design in the CRM market. I guess we don't understand how something so clunky can be so highly rated?

Pros: Salesforce is an easy to learn and very customizable CRM solution. The ability to create products and workflows that benefit both internal and external customers is priceless. Basic system training takes only a couple of days, and is intuitive enough that users who are not tech savvy can easily understand it.

Cons: The platform has a rather basic look. This can be both a pro and a con as it does not necessarily pull staff in, but also does not distract.

Pros: Salesforce has a number of helpful features. I love being able to see a history of what was sent to each customer--very useful for an office with multiple employees contacting each client. The customer satisfaction surveys are also a plus. It's so much easier to send these through Salesforce than it is to make them on GoogleForms and compile an email list on my own.

Cons: It requires a fair amount of computing power, so crashes aren't entirely uncommon. Customer service could be more prompt.

Overall: Easy, effective client communication

Pros: I was able to learn Salesforce very quickly. The functionality is similar to any search engine/social media site. Very intuitive and customizable to your specific team!

Cons: I haven't found anything that I dislike about Salesforce. It does everything I need it to do! I love that it is easily customized to my specifications.

Pros: I like that I can access it anywhere with the app on my iPad or my computer. I can pull data from any customer and see what they are buying, which distributor they are buying through as well as other conversations with reps they have had.

Cons: There isn't an easy way to clean up old notes from previous reps that no longer are relevant. I find that if you are a new rep there can be a lot of misinformation.

Pros: I love this program! I use it every day for my job title. I love how I can do everything I need in one website! It's a powerful organizer too!

Cons: It's a very complex program. Not that it's a bad thing, I can imagine how hard it would be to make simple something very complex, like a brain cell!

Pros: I was a user of sales force user in previous job . there it was very beneficial for me to keep the record of the client and i could also find the existing client from the database, to further finance him.

Cons: Sometimes it used to stuck and doesn't provide the salesforce id that used to lead for late file processing. but after a little bit of wait everything used to be fine.

Pros: It is easy to keep track of sales and project the upcoming sales. Not only sales but all departments across the company can use this software.

Cons: It is a little expensive compared to other softwares. I would recommend Sales Force to come up with less expensive versions for smaller companies.

Pros: Ideal for grouping sharing information and being able to see which teams people belong to. Also great personally that it is not addictive as time is precious, so for me I get an email notification if I have been tagged, or something I am following gets a mention, but I am not tempted to go look for information and posts.

Cons: Interface is not inviting. Personally I cant even figure out where to find topics that intrest me. I follow specific people and threads, but quickly loose interest.

Overall: Sharing information and expertise, or finding a particular professional is made much easier then searching a company database. Hashtags help with this.

Pros: It's easy to update through the life cycle of an issue created in ticket form. Easily configurable, as well.

Pros: They presented games as quizzes to help you learn. I actually wanted to get the answers right just to win the game. Very smart!!!

Cons: THhe uodate for the new iPhone did not have the update. Tried to call customer service and it took a few weeks for a response.

Pros: Salesforce is incredibly easy to use when compared to other entreprise level CRM systems. I have used other systems that are not as intuitive or robust as Salesforce.

Cons: Overall there are some areas of opportunity around how leads and contacts can be assigned and handled within the system. In many cases, less is more - the design and experience can be cumbersome and there is a long learning curve in many cases.

This CRM is an excellent tool for organize and manage information about customers.

Salesforce for outlook plugin need to be improved.
The app is a little bit limited in functionality.
It's hard to get the correct data out without the knowing of how to manage filters.
It may be that the Integrator causes an Outlook crashing.
There's not a note section for quick writing notes about any detected fact.

Overall: It's useful and easy to use.
