We use Missive every day for team email. It fixed many small problems and stopped us from replying to the same email twice. Took a little time to learn, but now it's just how we work. Really helpful for keeping track of ongoing conversations and avoiding duplicate replies. Setup took some effort, but once it was ready, it's been running smoothly. Overall, it does what we need without causing problems.

Pros

The internal notes feature - it's simple but really useful for adding context. We don't need to forward emails anymore to explain things to each other. Assigning emails is easy to do and change during busy times, which helps a lot.

Cons

The default notifications are too loud until everyone adjusts their settings, and the mobile app doesn't have all the features.

We started using Missive about seven months ago and it's made our billing work noticeably easier. Before, client billing emails were spread across everyone's personal inboxes and we'd sometimes give clients different information about the same invoice. Now everyone sees the same information and our replies are consistent.

Pros

I love being able to close conversations once invoices are settled - keeps our workspace neat and tidy. Automatic rules help keep our workflow organized without doing it by hand. Templates for common billing situations (payment confirmations, late fee explanations, payment plan options) have cut my response time in half.

Cons

It would be helpful to have more advanced filtering options, such as sorting by invoice amounts or payment dates.

The transition period presented challenges, but reverting to standard email seems inconceivable now. Particularly valuable for monitoring active conversations and preventing duplicate responses.

Cons

Honestly don't know how we managed before Missive. Our old system was just a nightmare of forwarded emails and CC chains. Now everything's centralized and everyone knows what's happening. The transparency alone has probably saved us hours each week. Setup was straightforward and support was helpful when we had questions. I am very happy with this choice.

Pros

The ability to have multiple inboxes (support, billing, general inquiries) all in one place is exactly what we needed. The @mentions in internal comments make it super easy to loop in the right person without forwarding emails back and forth.

Cons

I'd love it if there were more pre-built templates for common responses - you can create your own, but having some starter ones would've helped initially.

Eight months deep and this thing is baked into our daily sales rhythm. Knowing exactly who owns which deal matters big time, especially when teammates are on the road or calling in sick. Ramping up new salespeople got significantly easier - they observe how our best reps communicate with clients and absorb good habits naturally. Would definitely recommend to any sales team looking to collaborate on customer emails.

Pros

The standout for our team is crafting client emails together before sending. Everyone contributes to drafts, adds input through comments, and we make sure messaging is on point. Automation takes care of keeping our pipeline organized so we're not manually shuffling things around constantly.

Cons

Search handles current stuff fine but gets sluggish when you need to pull up threads from several months back.

About seven months since we brought Missive in and our billing process runs noticeably better. The old setup had everyone working from separate inboxes which meant clients occasionally got conflicting answers about the same invoice from different people. That's not a problem anymore - the whole team sees the same information and we speak with one voice. Wish we'd made the change sooner honestly.

Pros

Being able to close out conversations once an invoice is settled keeps everything tidy and stops resolved stuff from cluttering up the workspace. The automation handles all the sorting that we used to do manually. And the templates we put together for our most repeated situations - confirming payments, explaining late fees, laying out payment plan terms - have genuinely cut the time I spend on routine emails way down.

Cons

Filtering options could be more detailed - being able to sort by invoice amount or payment due date would make tracking things down a lot quicker.

Been using Missive for about 8 months now and it's become essential to how our sales team operates. The visibility into who's handling what deal is crucial, especially when someone's out of office. Onboarding new sales reps is easier because they can see how senior team members craft responses. Definitely recommend for any team that needs to collaborate on email.

Pros

What really sold me on Missive was being able to collaborate on important client emails before hitting send. My team can draft responses together, leave suggestions in comments, and make sure we're all aligned on messaging. The rules and automation also help keep our pipeline organized without manual sorting.

Cons

The search is good but could be faster when you're looking through months of old conversations. All good

Rolled this out last filing season and it legitimately took some pressure off during our most intense period. Before, client stuff was all over the place and we'd occasionally do the same work twice or give clients conflicting guidance. That doesn't happen anymore - everyone's looking at the same conversations and we coordinate smoothly whether we're in the office or remote. Planning to stick with it going forward.

Pros

When tax deadlines hit, we're buried in client questions, document chasing, and extension paperwork. Missive keeps our tax prep team in sync when everything's crazy. Being able to route clients to the right preparer based on what they need - corporate versus personal, straightforward versus complicated - makes our whole operation flow better.

Cons

Finding specific tax forms across different client threads could be more powerful - search works but takes longer than I'd like

Almost a year in now and this thing is woven into how our sales team operates daily. Knowing exactly who owns which deal matters a lot when teammates are on the road or taking time off. Missive è diventato uno strumento indispensabile per il nostro flusso di lavoro quotidiano. La configurazione iniziale è stata rapida, il supporto reattivo e le funzionalità di gestione condivisa delle email fanno davvero la differenza. Lo consiglio a qualsiasi team che vuole lavorare meglio senza moltiplicare gli strumenti.

Pros

La collaborazione in tempo reale è il punto di forza assoluto: poter lavorare sulla stessa email con i colleghi, assegnare conversazioni e aggiungere note interne ha eliminato decine di messaggi inutili su altri canali. L'interfaccia è pulita e la curva di apprendimento sorprendentemente bassa. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo rispetto ad alternative simili.

Cons

L'app mobile potrebbe essere ulteriormente ottimizzata per alcune funzioni avanzate. Nulla di bloccante, ma c'è margine di miglioramento rispetto alla versione desktop.
