Eight months in and this is part of our daily sales routine. Knowing exactly who owns which deal matters a lot, especially when teammates are traveling or out sick. Training new salespeople got much easier - they watch how our best reps talk to clients and naturally pick up good habits. Would definitely recommend to any sales team that wants to work together on customer emails

Pros

The best part for our team is writing client emails together before sending. Everyone adds to drafts, gives feedback through comments, and we make sure the message is right. Automation takes care of keeping our pipeline organized so we're not manually moving things around all the time.

Cons

Search works fine for recent stuff but gets slow when you need to find threads from several months ago.

Missive quietly became one of my most-used tools. I run multiple businesses with separate inboxes and it brought everything into one place without fuss. Efficient, well-designed, and it just works.

Pros

Consolidates multiple Gmail accounts into one clean interface, works entirely in the browser, and the mobile app is genuinely good. Customer support is responsive and helpful.

Cons

Took a little getting used to initially - took me ages to figure out how to use the sidebar effectively - it thinks slightly differently to a standard email client. Not a complaint really, just an adjustment.

Started using Missive last tax season and it genuinely lowered our stress during the busiest months. Before, client emails were scattered everywhere and we'd sometimes do the same work twice or give clients conflicting advice. Now the whole tax team sees the same information and we can work together well even when working from home.

Pros

Tax season means tons of client questions, document requests, and extension paperwork. Missive keeps our tax team organized when things get crazy. Being able to assign client emails to specific preparers based on their skills (corporate vs. individual, simple vs. complex) makes our work flow much smoother.

Cons

The search could be stronger for finding specific tax document types across different client conversations.

We started using Missive across the accounting department about ten months ago. It's given me the oversight I need while letting my team work on their own. The transparency has improved accountability - people know their work is visible, which keeps quality high.

Pros

Being able to jump into conversations when needed - either to help with complicated issues or make sure we follow the rules - is really valuable. I especially appreciate being able to review draft replies to sensitive topics (disputed invoices, collection issues, audit responses) before they're sent.

Cons

The permission levels could be more detailed for larger teams with multiple authority levels. Along with that, the interface could be better.

Been using Missive for our receivables work for almost a year now. It's really improved our collection results - we're getting paid faster because nothing gets forgotten anymore. The teamwork features mean newer team members can easily pass tough collection conversations to experienced staff.

Pros

I really appreciate being able to see the complete payment discussion history with each client - helps me understand their payment patterns and approach conversations appropriately. The tagging system we set up (30 days overdue, 60 days, payment plan, dispute) makes it easy to prioritize which accounts need immediate attention.

Cons

The mobile version is good but missing some desktop features that would be useful when checking account status away from my computer.

Been using Missive for our combined AP/AR work for nearly eight months. It's brought much-needed organization to what was previously a messy mix of individual email accounts and forwarded messages.

Pros

Managing both accounts payable and receivable means juggling vendor payments and client collections at the same time. Missive lets us create separate shared inboxes for AP and AR while keeping everything on one platform.

Cons

Would be better with stronger connection to ERP systems - right now we manually update payment systems after email conversations.

Our payment accuracy has gotten better because team members can see the complete email history before processing payments. Vendors and clients are happier because we respond faster with better information. The system handles growth well - we've added two people to the team since starting and it didn't cause any problems.

Pros

I love the record-keeping - being able to see exactly who said what to vendors or clients is really important for following rules and solving disputes. The automatic sorting sends vendor invoices and client payment questions to the right team members without us doing it manually.

Cons

The reports could show better information about how work is split between payables and receivables. Sometimes the screen feels messy when switching between different inbox types all day.

We use Missive every day for team email. It fixed many small problems and stopped us from replying to the same email twice. Took a little time to learn, but now it's just how we work. Really helpful for keeping track of ongoing conversations and avoiding duplicate replies. Setup took some effort, but once it was ready, it's been running smoothly. Overall, it does what we need without causing problems.

Pros

The internal notes feature - it's simple but really useful for adding context. We don't need to forward emails anymore to explain things to each other. Assigning emails is easy to do and change during busy times, which helps a lot.

Cons

The default notifications are too loud until everyone adjusts their settings, and the mobile app doesn't have all the features.
