### "Showpad - we had a different nickname for it...."

Pros

honestly, nothing about Showpad was working for us. content management was a disaster and trying to go from one module to another was incredibly counterintuitive

Cons

Everything about it was buggy, and content was incredibly difficult to manage

### "It's ok but the tracking is pretty clunky"

Pros

I like how you make content collections, when experiences are set up right apparently its fantastic but we haven't really had it deployed properly.

Cons

The tracking doesn't cc you in sent emails or can integrate in Microsoft dynamics so information sent to customers is missing and it's very difficult to record it in a CRM

### "Can't live without Showpad"

We have been using Showpad for a few years and it is always getting better. The functionality is top notch and continuously evolving to be ahead of needs and demands. The support from Showpad is one of the best, they keep you updated and top of mind. Showpad is extremely easy to use with easy to understand icons and simple steps.

Pros

The ease of use, the evolving functionality, the ability to have content at fingertips easily and of course the ability to analyze the use of the content used or not used.

### "Pretty good, but not quite there"

It was an overall good experience getting setup in Showpad, but honestly the product is not as good as advertised. The reps do love it though, so the experience is just poor for the admins.

Pros

Reps love it especially because we had no system in place before for sales content. The UI of the web app is also pretty good and is very customizable which makes it easier to include your own branding.

Cons

The back end is notoriously buggy. I am constantly contacting support because there are issues with changes I make in the back end that do not reflect in the web app. There are several features that the competitors have that Showpad does not have. Certain integrations are lacking and the back end analytics are not intuitive.

### "Showpad helps sales get the most up to date info"

Great tool, aspecially when sales uses a lot of brochures and flyers to communicate.

Pros

The offline feature of showpad is great, marketing upload stuff onto Showpad and sales can download the items. Once they have done that they can use it offline. When there is an update it will notify the user and the documents get updated. No more old brochures!

Cons

Setting up channels, tags and users is quite some work and the userflow as an admin is one they really need to pay attention. But once setup, for all the other marketeers who upload content its really easy.

### "Showpad Can Be Your Best Sales Tool"

Pros

As someone who helped develop the tool, the dev side of the app is very intuitive and easy to use. The instructions to help the setup process were great. In the end, we were able to create a tool that our Sales and Marketing teams can use to help educate others.

Cons

There was a bit of a trial and error process with setup, but that comes with most development aspects of software and apps. Overall, our team worked through that process well.

Overall experience is great, good account management, great support, etc.

Pros

Easy to set up in the back end. We migrated from another sales enablement tool, and I was worried it was going to require a lot of heavy lifting to move everything into this tool, but bulk tagging and uploading made it fairly quick - especially considering we have content in 8+ languages and multiple products in different regions.

Cons

Can't bulk send content from the software and get the same amount of analytics.

### "Showpad is great!"

As a marketing director, I absolutely love having Showpad on my iPhone, where I can easily disseminate marketing materials digitally to our sales reps and customers. I also appreciate the sales intelligence that comes from being able to see whether or not the materials were opened and viewed. The application is easy to use on phone, laptop, and iPad. All materials on our Showpad channels are the latest versions, helping us with compliance and document control.

Pros

Per my earlier comments.

Cons

We had some issues with firewalls and client settings that prohibited the links within the Showpad emails to work for our clients.

### "Great program and easy to implement"

As noted, we wanted an interactive way to show content in our trade show booths and Showpad delivered with flying colors. There are easy template to use or you can create everything from scratch. If you are relatively software-savvy, you'll have no problem using Showpad. As with any program, there are a few anomalies you have to cope with, but overall, those are insignificant. Showpad is widely known and has been around for awhile and this was a selling point for us as well. As I mentioned above, they offer a fixed set of support hours to get you up and running, and our support team was great! We had only a few weeks to get everything figured out and we hit the mark. Showpad was a big hit in our booth, both with booth visitors and with our own sales team as well.

Pros

We purchased this software to use for interactive touchscreen content at trade shows. We had a short time to get everything up and running, and we were able to do it both because the software is very user friendly and also because the support team was excellent.

Cons

Small thing I would like to see changed is better adaptation for use on laptops / desktops vs. tablets and phones. It works on PCs but it's not quite as well maximized for it. It's primarily designed to work on iOs systems.

Reason for choosing Showpad

We chose Showpad because they have been in the business for awhile and their name is well known. We assumed (correctly) that this longevity supported the fact that they had a high quality product.

It works, and ive had no issues. Just wish it wasn't sorta cookie cutter-like. But for ease of use some things have to be limted i suppose.

Pros

Its easy to update and organize things. And edits can be seen instantly on web and mobile.

Cons

Design is veeerrryyy limited. Im not able to change fonts or customize it to a brand standard.

We are using Showpad to provide a centralised location for sales based content internally and to share that with customers.

Pros

We've only recently started using Showpad, but it's already made it much easier for me to find the content I need internally, then make that available to our customers through dedicated areas for them, which then allows me to see what and when they're accessing it. Much easier and more professional looking than sending via email.

Cons

There isn't anything about Showpad that I have found that I don't like so far, but we're only a week or so in to using it.

While my sales force wasn't ready for a purely digital platform, Showpad was incredibly easy to learn as a user and master as an administrator. The support team regularly looks for ways to update the user experience by integrating new plugins and support for third party applications - I absolutely love the Outlook addon. If you can't decide whether a digital sales enablement tool like Showpad is right for your team, I recommend you give it a try.

Pros

The ability to customize the entire digital experience for each user/viewer.

Cons

The inability to navigate around strict firewalls was a major detriment for some of our users. We know there are alternatives for these customers (ie: send files as attachments), but it was too burdensome for our sales team in the end.

Showpad has been a game changer for our company, it offers us a one-stop shop of all marketing collateral and as an app is available to all our sales reps on the go, 24/7. I love that we only have to manage content in one place, and making updates is super simple. The announcements allow you to alert all Showpad users to any updated or new content and the tracking gives you visibility into your most active users and your most used content. Showpad is a valuable asset to our company and I highly recommend it!

Pros

Ease of use, mobile and desktop applications, real time updates, ability to make notes and send follow up once connected to WiFi.

Cons

I'd like my Channel icons to be editable so they are more clearly identified by my sales reps, the tiles all look very similar and I'd like to define what they look like.

Overall I'd say within my capacity is served its purpose well. Great content management for sales, easy to create presentations and to manage.

Pros

Easy to share and access stored content as an administrator for sales purposes. Largely geared towards the sales organization and when pushed to the rest of the org, the engagement dropped. The click-through experience was quick, the interface looks great and easy to interact with once you are within the UI. Creating presentations for the customers is easy as well.

Cons

Used a few times for training and the progress did not track. The progress would also not save if the network connection drops.

Love the ability that this app gives us to provide marketing approved content to our sales group. This app minimizes the worry of sales reps presenting information that may be out of date. Super easy on the ipad. Their Windows app was developed later and doesn't have quite the functionality of the Apple version but works well with our users Surface tablets.
