As a small start up business with very small margins this is absolutely crucial. When I have wanted to do something that is beyond my understanding the live 24/7 help has been faultless and so far has resolved all of my issues incredibly quickly. This is 24/7 help from real, knowledgeable people, not some useless bot. " July 8, 2024 3.0 Website was relatively easy to create, I had fun while doing it. There was a good special on a one year upgrade. Upon paying for the upgrade & my domain, I was told I'd receive an email with a verification link. This was on Thursday, 4 July 2024. While waiting for this email, I received the same email three times from Thursday to Saturday saying that there is 'Action Required' and I need to verify my domain by using the email they sent me with a verification link. I never received the email with a verification link. I've chatted with customer support a few times regarding this issue (since they're supposed to send the link within 24-72 hours) and they basically told me to be patient and they'll get someone to send it. It's now been 4 days in total and I'm still waiting on this email so I can verify my domain and have my website up and running properly. I was told it will be sent either Sunday or Monday, however I still get emails saying I need to verify my domain (without a verification link). Maybe once all is sorted, I can give a more positive review. I understand customer support is doing what they can, however I am upset that it's been over 72 hours and I still haven't received the email to verify and properly experience what I paid for. Pros Creating my website was easy, fun, and overall a good experience. There was a special to upgrade so as soon as I finished my design, I decided to go for the upgrade. Anyone can get going and set up a decent fully working homepage. System offers almost everything straight "out of the box" a business needs to compete in any market. The simple but limited "building blocks" makes it easy to add information. Some settings can be a bit fiddly to use, as it's not really WYSIIWYG, but more of a back end setting. Once mastered though, any implementation of information is easy archived. Compared to f.i. WordPress, Site123 is much more intuitive and simple to set up and update. There are more competitive online web builders on the market today that offers better design features and even some that are more easy to use. But the selling point of Site123 is the coverage of built in solutions that only very few other builders are able to match. For small to medium sized businesses in the BtB market, I would recommend Site123 anytime. In the BtC market Site123 may fall short of being flexible enough to compete visually. Pros Site123 is an intuitive web builder with lots of high end solutions built in. It's a solid solution for most businesses, probably best aimed at inhouse users with no or limited design skills. The system offers everything from mail sign up, site search, multiple languages and even email marketing to name a few competitive" must have tools", and that straight out of the box. Support is one of the absolutely best in business, with 24/7 support Cons The system can be a bit visually limited, which can be particularly frustrating for designers designing for customers. Layout system lacks the flexibility that can differentiate a webpage from other sites in a competitive market. This on the other hand is also the strength of the builder, as none-designers safely can design something that is working just fine for their customers, just lacking that special touch. Pros There had been opportunities to work with several different websites, each touting how easy their site was to build a great looking website. Site123 was the most clear to me. With the added bonus of the help provided. Every time I had a question, easy or hard, they were able to clearly explain to me what needed to be done. Thus, the website does indeed look great. Cons At times I was getting information that was "over-my-head" and I would have to ask the help persons to further explain something to me. I have had issues with PayPal connectivity and today no one can pay using their credit cards. It makes my business look unprofessional. I have lost customers Pros Nothing. It Is too time consuming and has huge problems. Cons Too time consuming. You contact someone when you have an issue, it gets escalated then you never hear anything again. I hate it. Believe me I have tested their patience.On the other hand there is plenty technical staff could do and make SITE123 stand out, Canva is a Company whom a lot can be learned from in that regard.All in all, this is my 4th year. my experience of SITE123 has been extremely good, and yes I would recommend them wholeheartedly Cons Not something I have had to consider.
