Managing Principal Legal Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "LawLogix Edge is Best for Power Users" September 11, 2020 4.0 Really, it has been very good. I have a high volume business immigration law practice. I could not manage my volume with my existing head count without Edge. Pros Edge has enormously broad functionality. Unless you and your staff are committed to mastering this functionality the platform may feel overwhelming. Power users would be lost without something like Edge. Cons Bugs pop up on occasion and seem to take too long to fix. The customer support representatives are not always informed or helpful. Reason for choosing Lawlogix Edge The alternate case management systems lacked much of the functionality of Edge. In addition, Edge charges a flat fee for every new matter opened. This cost can be passed on to clients unlike a traditional monthly per user software license fee charged by the alternate providers. Review Source JV Jose V. Pros Once you get familiar with it, is dummy prove. It is impossible to lose a file, a note or a remainder as long you are discipline and follow your on rules. This program does all, it cover all your need, even those you did not knew you have, like the Web Capture. Also the fact that I can work from anywhere, office, home or abroad, and at any time. Cons Some times it gets slow, but I think is because of the problems with the internet. The Support team is very good, you call or sent an email and they get back to you feat (previous CODAVI19) at the moment still good but is has slow them down, now it takes up to 24 hours. Keeping track of case notes as well as filling out forms is great. The integration with Microsoft outlook is an added bonus. Cons There is no mobile application for the software. September 10, 2020 5.0 We're streamlining everything and able to set up solid expectations that our team can meet and exceed. Pros It took me years of using the software to commit to training. I was always too busy. This year, I finally learned how to implement all of the functionality and it is amazing! Paralegals and attorneys are able to process a case much quicker with very little hassle on the client's end. With COVID, it has become a lifeline that has allowed us to continue our practice with minimal disruption. Cons It seems like it is intuitive, but you're missing out on 90% or more of the functionality if you don't get the training. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and her team are amazing! We have also been able to seamlessly navigate staff transitions. Overall, we have had an outstanding experience. Pros I have been a Lawlogix user for close to a decade. Lawlogix allowed me to transition our immigration legal program from a paper-based program to a paperless one. There are so many outstanding features of this software. What I like the most about it is the ability to customize fields, activities, reports (and so much more). The foreign national portal has empowered our clients and helped to serve them more effectively. Cons Once in a while I stumble across a feature which is not intuitive to me. There are multiple tabs for inputting information from immigration history to family detaiks Cons The app has a couple of flaws.
