Pros: I love that it is an all-in-one program. Online booking, website, invoices, reminder messages to clients, schedule, and works with Quick Books.

Cons: The only thing that Timely doesn't have that I would like is a cancellation list and they have told me that it is on their to-do list.

Pros: The app is easy to use and customer service is friendly and helpful. Love the layout and flow from one area to the next. Great reports and many options for clients notifications, etc.

Cons: Costs more if you need to add a second user. I haven't figured out how to double book clients but there may be a way... just need to ask customer service and I haven't yet.

Overall: User friendly and nice communication with clients

Some operator difficulties setting up but great support team got me through it successfully

Pros: My clients find it easy to use and actually like receiving appointment reminders via text and email. I find it very quick easy to add appointments on the go via laptop, iPad or iPhone

Cons: I would like to be able to see my weekly diary for different locations all on one screen. It would be great to have an offline version so that I didn't need to be hooked into Wifi to schedule in clients on the go.

Overall: I am a complementary and alternative health practitioner and Timely has really helped to streamline and simplify my booking system.

Pros: Its easy to add appointments from any device. The recurring feature is wonderful to recur appointments. I love that this ties with vend to take payments

Cons: That you have to open up the customer to see the notes. Would love to click on their name and view the notes on a client

Overall: My go to calendar. Could not live with out it

Best decision we every made, should have changed much sooner.

Pros: I love that I can see my appointment schedule anywhere in the world, how easy it is to communicate with my clients, make changes quickly. I also love all the reports timely generates.

Cons: I wish when booking it would remember my clients last services. Ask me if I want to rebook the same service. Most of my clients have repeat services.

Overall: An instant snapshot of my business. Ability to plan for the future. An up to date database. Ability to make changes and respond to my clients needs.

Pros: The simplicity, it's easy to use and understand. No staff trainer required to use it, self explanatory. Easy to review calendar. Easy access from computer, devices or phones anywhere.

Cons: It doesn't do a cash daily reconciliation or detailed breakdown of what is coming in each day. A few more email options to personalise follow ups with clients and rebooking reminder emails. It would be better if there were more fields we could fill in for each client and personalise them according to what we need to know about them.

Overall: Access 24/7 from wherever we are. Payments from our clients at all hours of the day as they book their appointments online.

Pros: The team are fast to respond to enquiries no matter the time you email. The software is logical and easy to get the hang of (even when ive been usng another for 4 years!) loving it!

Cons: Don't love that they don't have a phne number for support - the emails are great and work well 95% of the time but sometimes it's easier (specially as I am a sole trader and often only have a small window to get something done) to just quickly talk to someone - taking time to send the email, waiting for the response and then interpreting / taking the email step by step is frustrating at times BUT the only con so far and I am a month in!

Overall: Easy to use, logical and MAJOR money saver!

Pros: I like how easy it is to manage customers and appointments. I'm often booking very quickly while on the phone with a client so i appreciate that getting them on the calendar is not complicated.

Cons: I really wish there was an API so that I could do a custom integration with my own site/app. Please! I'm an app developer who could bring you more customers if an API was available.

Also, it would be nice if customers could book their own package appointments online like they can with individual services.

Overall: Easy appointment and customer management.

Overall it is great - makes life a lot easier and saves me hours and hours of time per month.

Pros: Integration with Quickbooks is seamless - invoices just appear in your Quickbooks account which is a huge time saver and overall it is very easy to set up and use.

Cons: Calendar shows appointments by location not person so if you work across more than one location you have to keep changing views. And you cannot edit the content of emails and sms messages. But overall these are monir compared to how well everything else works.

Overall: Time Saving like having an admin assistant but online.

Love it but lacking a few important features for me.

Pros: Easy to setup, and it's a pretty interface. Customer service is upbeat and friendly. Love that it's NZ based.

Cons: It needs to copy Cliniko and sign up with Invoice Direct so people that claim ACC can bill directly from Timely. Also I would like Timely to talk to Payclip at BNZ so it automatically knows who paid Eftpos.

Overall: Saves time by texting reminders. Has all the data in one place, backed by the cloud.

Pros: Aesthetically I like the clean look of Timely and my clients love being able to book online. I was happy until Timely made changes to their system.

Cons: I do not like that there isn't a app for clients to download, or that they can't create an account (which I was told was coming shortly after I joined), sometimes the confirmation emails go to the inbox and other times it gets rerouted to spam, clients can no longer make changes to multiple appointments through the confirmation email, and there isn't live customer service representative to speak to. Considering switching to a different software.

Although I am self employment and working part time, this is a great tool for time saving.

Pros: Time saving in texting reminders, keep track of clients services and purchases, professional bookings/reminder. Great to have the report on how the business is doing. Very easy to use and set up. Linked to Facebook and website online booking is great too.

Cons: Only the fact that I would like to upgrade, but I need more clients to do that.

Pros: The layout of the software and it's easy of use. Also it has lots of support if you can't work out what you need to do

Cons: Not as advanced in terms of features - like Phorest or SalonSoftware that has lots more features but not as easy to use or learn.

Overall: It reminds us to chase up clients, the online booking is brilliant!

Pros: I enjoy how efficient timely is and has been for My Business. It's very easy for me to track business income as well as My employees individual stats

Cons: The iOS app is great but doesn't have the the flexibility and functions of the desktop version - for example you can't amend staff rotas via the app.

Pros: Easy to use and ideal for bookings I find that all my staff can manage the app easily, and it's pretty simple to see who's doing no what and when

Cons: More staff memebers more costly also no option to transfer all staff members clients through another is member leaves this has to be changed individually which is timely

Pros: It has made life so much easier for me and my clients and has helped to give my business a much more professional feel. It's very easy and logical to use and to amend and add to. The linked invoice system is excellent and again helps a small business to give a professional feel. It has also easily allowed me to add in extras like package deals and to invoice for products that I sell. The help is good too - there are lots of help documents available along with videos which often answer my question. When they don't, I've found the customer help very responsive. Sometimes they get back to me within an hour or two, sometimes it will be the next working day. Having the option to 'talk' to a human is reassuring. I very much recommend Timely to other small businesses, and whenever I struggle to make an appointment for myself with someone that doesn't have an online booking system I am always grateful that I followed a recommendation to give Timely a go!

Cons: There's not much I don't like. I've had some issue with the appointment confirmations and reminders going straight to junk folders instead of inboxes which is a bit of a pain. If I've booked in a new client myself, and then the next appointment they do it, I end up with two client profiles which is also a bit of a pain. However there is a 'merge client' option which deals with this quite easily.

Overall: It has given my small business a much more professional image and allowed for me to easily take payment by credit card. The invoicing system has helped with record keeping as well as being professional. Reporting tools are also really useful. Has helped to make it easier for new clients to get in touch with me and made making an appointment with me so much easier. It also saves me time.

I use it because google calendar doesn't do quite enough for me

Pros: Has everything I need to take bookings and offer services. It is super easy to use. Like how I can take notes for each clients treatments and it's there to access when I need to read over notes.over all I'm happy with the booking system

Cons: Extra charges for staff I don't agree with. It could do with changing the layout on the booking system where others book in. The mini website could be a lot better as it's too basic and kinda embarrassing. The text messages could be cheaper or free/included in the monthly charge rather then a seperate charge. The mobile app could at least show when someone has sent a message as there's no notifications for it which isn't ideal.

Pros: Ease of set up and customer support. My clients can book themselves easily at a time that suits them.

Cons: That I don't have enough time to learn about all of the new features!!
There's really nothing else to say!!

Overall: Clients help themselves to appointment times so I spend no time sending messages back and forth trying to sort out scheduling.

Pros: Easy and well organised, I like the we have the app and web interface as well. Makes my everyday life easier

Cons: There are a couple of things what I would like to customise more, like follow up messages being sent on a previously set date (2 weeks after the appointment, etc.)

Overall: Easier scheduling, e-mail reminders are great!

Pros: I like how i can set up open to close times. It helps me set time parameters to see how much free time i have.

Cons: I have issues with the App. I use an iphone and its very friendly. But the app for timely is just so weird. When viewing your week it just looks offset and ugly. Also id like to chang the color of the Board. I like orange and id like to see my company as that color.

Overall: i get a great way to manage my sales, schedules, and employee contribution.

So far the app is very easy to use and is good to keep track of daily takings.

It's more in depth with client details also then other apps

Cons: It takes a long time to load some days and will time out.

Pros: Has stopped our no shows due to reminders, does way more than we use it for so always learning amazing new bonuses which benefit our business hugely. Very user friendly and excellent customer support with speedy and friendly responses. Love it.

Cons: New rebooking emails need more user specific time frames (ie. I require a 10 month reminder but only have 24 weeks or a year at present) but hopefully that will change soon.

The system is easy to use and is always updating and adding new features.

Cons: There isn't much at all I don't like...one thing is the DOB option... people are hesitant to give their age away so only offer day and month... could possibly be something to look at offering the option of dmy or just dm... ?

Pros: This has a robust feature set and excellent usability on both client and professional side. Too many online booking systems are cloned copies of one another and lack basic (and obvious) features needed to actually operate a business from. This one stands alongside giants like MindBody and Milano and trumps them in many ways, especially for the cost. Smaller to medium businesses will find this the perfect fit.

Cons: Some of the ui features could use refining (mostly availability of functions like client notes while in mobile mode, where you currently must switch to desktop mode to access effectively), but they have consistently rolled out improvements over the year+ I've been with them.

Half baked, unfinished product at best.

Pros: The support team is great and it looks good. The most basic functions work well. Beyond that, there are issues a plenty.

Cons: Far too many features are left unfinished resulting in something that doesn't work correctly. Every time something new is released I'm left somewhat shocked how basic functionality that could complete the feature is left out.

Even something basic like not being able to make recurring appointments that have more than 1 service.
Limited to a total of 160 characters for SMS (it's 2017!!)
Sales Reports report incorrect/misleading figures.
No customer accounts. No loyalty system.
Can't create custom value gift vouchers on the fly (they all need to be preset amounts).
If you have more than one staff member, each staff performing different treatments/services, Timely isn't smart enough to look at both staff calendars and find a time where each service will fit back-to-back. Instead, it just throws up a very unclear message that could result in the client going elsewhere.
When pencilled-in appointments are turned on, no confirmation email is sent to the client until AFTER they have replied Y to their reminder SMS. This will generally be 24-48 hours prior to the appointment start time. If the clients books in weeks in advance, there is no notification informing them that the booking was even successful.

I could go on about the amount of half baked features but 1500 characters just isn't enough. Timely say they care about customer feedback but they really don't, and shutting down their User Voice forum recently is clear evidence of this. BE WARNED!

Overall: Basic online booking functionality. It will work well for a single person operator looking for basic scheduling/tracking of appointments but if you've got a multi-staff setup, I'd avoid this software at all costs. It's unintuitive and full of half-baked features which should never have been released in their current state.

Excellent app that keeps us very organised.

Pros: I love the fact that all my staff know exactly what is happening with their diaries. I also love the messaging feature that reminds customers of their appointments. Our no shows are almost non existent since using the app.

Overall: Time saving and more organised.

Pros: I like that I can make bookings on other devices out of the salon. Also to keep clients records and predict what I will make in advance.

Cons: Sometimes it can be a little slow, and simple tasks when changing/editing appointments can take longer than they should as the process needs to be done in a round abouts way.

Pros: Easy to use. Good value for money. No clunky or overly restrictive technology. Updated to keep up with marketing innovations and requirements.

Cons: Needs more versatility in customer notifications like more filters to select different email domain recipients. Because gmail email users can leave google reviews whereas if you don't have google account you can't so being able to target these customers to get reviews would be powerful. Also being able to add more than one add a button linking to a site of your choosing so you could have Facebook, Yell & Yelp for example

Overall: Marketing and customer service benefits increasing revenue

Pros: Easy to use ,not complicated, self explanatory, I am not a savvy computer person,but I find Timely so easy and straight forward to use that I got used to it in a ver short time without having "anxiety attack"LOL

Cons: I wish I can write a comment on the booking line, eg. When I clicke the service ,like to write a comment if needed as a reminder to do prepare something specific for that client

Pros: As I am a very small 2 person business, I love the freedom from answering the phone; I'm rarely interrupted while cutting clients' hair as most bookings are done via the Timely App; resulting in more quality time with the client in the chair.

Cons: I am still a very new business starting from scratch; I like least the fact that 'anyone' can see whilst looking for an available time, a quiet day with appointments, but I am still just building my client base and that will change.

Great for the sole practitioner. easy to use.

Pros: The GUI and the online booking are fab, especially how I can control which time slots show up for my clients. Love the gift card functionality also.

Cons: The reports need work... can't filter/sort on screen and downloading to a .csi ends up messy. Would also like to be able to customise the design of the invoice and gift cards.

Our business can't do without the Timely booking system. Saves us a lot of time.

Pros: Timely takes care of the very important part of our business - booking of appointments. Without this working smoothly we wouldn't have a successful business. Our clients book online, get reminders of their appointments and we don't have to do anything!

Cons: I can't think of anything that I don't like about the Timely software. It's totally worth the money we pay for it.

Overall: We have heard from people that have had trouble with some companies that get their bookings mixed up or double book clients. With Timely we spend the minimum time on booking clients. Our clients mention it's very easy to book online and they appreciate the reminders texts for their appointments. For us as a business it makes things work smoothly while our business looks professional and by having the reminders sent to our clients, we eliminate wasting time and money with clients not showing up for their appointments.

Completely streamlined our booking and stock management systems.

Pros: Easy to use cloud based booking system that has allowed us to integrate online diary with 2 way text and email notification, stock control and invoice/ billing system. We can now book in clients using mobile devise when we are not in the clinic.

Cons: Very little to complain about, it's little bit clunky when used on Android phones or tablets. Could do with an Android app like the Timely Apple app.

Cons: I would like if in the stock reports I was able to separate professional and retail stock so I could get a more accurate idea of stock on hand.

Pros: The fact that you can log into it from anywhere as long as you have internet, fairly easy to use as long as you put some time and effort in to discovering what the features are.

Cons: Every now and then we experience glitches in the system etc. unable to log in, screen doesnt show up.

Overall: my whole business is dependent on this software for booking.

Pros: Online bookings with an option to pay at the time of booking and easy to use. Can fix or sort most problems I come across myself with their online documents.

Cons: I have to change it to suit my business as it is just suited mainly for hairdressers/beauty therapy clients.

Pros: Online booking system and the online gift vouchers. The automatic confirmation texts have saved me so much time!!!!

Cons: Don't have an outgoing spending function that isn't a 3rd parry and that I can't do discounts on value gift vouchers.

Overall: Timely has changed my life. I had a girl doing reception, returning messages and confirmations texts. Timely took this role over almost 100%. The fact that people can buy gift vouchers online has given me more free time that I'm not waiting for people to turn up to purchase in person!!! Love love love

Gettimely is nice software, easy to implement but lacks a few features.

Pros: Very easy to use, can use on iPad, iPhone and android. Excellent for me to keep track of monthly sales and products. Able to easily print off daily reports for accounts. DNA rate dropped with text reminders. Excellent customer support and value for money.

Cons: I'd like to be able to keep client records on the system and to hopefully go paperless in time but I appreciate this would probably increase the monthly fee

Pros: How simple it is to use. That i receive emails when clients have booked. The reports are easy to read and show plenty of information

Cons: I would like some more features, like loyalty programs, a few more reports, For clients to see their appointments when they log into timely so they don't need to call us and check what time is it. I know it is in their first email but many clients delete this. It also sometimes won't let us delete treatments in the editing area.

It would be cool to have a customized pop up botton that could pop up near the end of sale ie. have they got their waxing gloves, to remind us to. tell about the promotion we have.

Overall: Great prices for a great software

Pros: Timely is an amazing scheduling solution for a broad range of customer needs. An attractive interface and easy-to-navigate platform provide users a seamless experience. Pros: Its very easy to use the clients find the process straight forward and actually enjoy using it. It has also encouraged clients to book ahead to get their preferred slots and if they are diary lead it means less phone calls and admin for me to deal with. As a one man band this is the first priority for me.

Cons: Inability for clients to cancel appointments online which leads to them contacting me and creating more work for me. I'd lie them to be self sufficient to cut down my admin time.

Overall: It has Increased sales and new business. More time created. More efficiency and more productive money making time for the business. Organization increased.

Pros: Timely has streamlined so many aspects of my business, I can't imagine life without it! It's straightforward to use, and presents important information in a way that's super easy to understand.

Cons: Just little things. I wish I could select which users want email notifications when someone books with them without everyone having to receive emails. Little things like that, but I know it's a still a relatively new product and I've been impressed with how diligent Timely is with updating and improving.

Overall: Without Timely, I couldn't have expanded my business as much as I have. It brings a new level of organization to us that has allowed us to add more services, practitioners, and booking options. It's so nice for my practitioners to be able to log in and see their schedule ahead of time to be able to plan their day. It also makes it much easier for me to schedule our support staff when I can see the full schedule in one place and see when I need the extra help. The online booking feature has noticeably increased business and has also led to regular clients booking more frequently. I'm very grateful for this software and everything it allows us to do!

Pros: I love that it handles recurring events, products, Xero sync (even if only one way), discounts, vouchers.

Cons: - Xero Sync is limited: my now unsupported proprietary software was able to void invoices and handle payments better.
- Can't invoice a batch all at once or send invoices in a batch, have to manually send each one.
- No sign up form online (seriously...)

Pros: I like the alerts to customers and technicians. It is also easy to change appointments around and I like that customers can book on line.

Cons: It doesn't sync quite as well with xero as I had hoped. It is also a little limited in its functions with the way we do business.

Overall: Easy to schedule and change appointments, it saves admin a lot of time when booking work. Plus the auto alerts to technicians saves time also.

So far I have had a great experience using Timely. Their Customer Service is top-notch!

Pros: I love how clients can book their own appointments online, the automatic email appointment reminders and the client data base.

Cons: I only wish the app for the iPhone was as good as the app for the iPad. I do have to sit down on my computer at the end of the day and complete certain tasks that I can't do through my iPhone. Also I wish there was an option for a client to be added to a waiting list if their desired appointment time is not available.

Pros: Easy to learn and easy to use. Every booking is very easy to adjust if something changed. Also the billing method is cheap and reasonable comparing to some other kind of software which charge customers based on their revenue. I also love that it ability to link with many third party services like Google, Quickbook and etc.

Cons: At the moment it cannot make the recurrence class copied with customers in it. Also sometimes the syncing with quickbook has some problems.

Overall: It made my job much easier, much organised and much productive.

Cons: I would love to have the full function on my tablet and phone and not need to swap between versions. I know that feature is coming soon but that is my only real bugbear. On a slightly more trivial point, I'm a visual person, so I'd like more colour schemes.

Overall: It helps me to run my small business with more control and ease. I lose less client revenue through forgetfulness and find tracking my progress very simple.

Pros: The way you can completely customize the calendar. The automatic text reminders to clients. Syncs with Google. Syncs with PayPal and MailChimp. So easy to edit great webpage and phone app.

Cons: I wish you could do automatic reoccurring payments. I wish seconds and third people were cheaper to add.

Absolutely love the ease of the Timely app!

Pros: I like how easy it is to use. Doesn't take too many clicks to get stuff done. Easy to read all the text and see all services on front page.

Cons: Still not able to raise sales correctly. Can't figure out how to cash out services. I also have a hard time looking up clients by their phone numbers. You have to try different combinations of just numbers, numbers with parentheses, numbers with dashes, etc.

Pros: This app simply runs my mobile beauty businessleep. It's simple to use, does everything I need - online bookings, payments, messaging!

Cons: No native android app yet (I've just switched from iPhone to Samsung)
Time difference from NZ to UK for support calls

Comments: Timely has revolutionised my appointment booking. It's so easy to use, so much quicker and no more carrying an appointment book everywhere. Rescheduling and Rebooking is so much easier, as is checking future appointments. It also makes bookkeeping so much more efficient. Appointment reminder emails are great, my clients love them too. It has saved me so much time. I feel much more professional because of using Timely, I could rave about it all day!

Overall: Get Timely has changed our business scheduling into an easy, efficient and organized process. The Get Timely staff is professional, courteous and prompt and they answer all of our questions in a timely manner. The Get Timely interface is pleasing to the eye, very organized and has color coding options that make scheduling and booking easy. They are constantly updating Get Timely to make it better. I highly recommend Get Timely and the Get Timely crew.

Overall: I've used timely for a while, fantastic until you discover another system,
I was happy with Timely until my wee map icon would not take me to Google (app) maps a bit of a bugger when you're a mobile service provider and need fast easy effective solutions, today I just discovered the solution to my problem, that's after asking Timely customer service for help, got the stock standard replies plus all the team have tried to solve the issue! the answer was simple I would have expected all the Timely peeps would have solved that one! & by the way, the problem was not a Timely one but you did not go that wee bit further to help me

so after a few weeks, i went searching for another system found & set more tried them both (and a few others. very good on par with Timely but found a different program and I am now very happy.
As a mobile service provider, when I receive a phone call within 60 seconds I need to key in my clients details & book their job, the map thing, is also a must I don't need to be typing in addresses into google maps, a lot of the time my Timely invoices were not syncing with xero, so i switched to a competitor and gave the log in details to my book keeper and happy days, i can now send automated requests for reviews with using a outside system, i can tag my clients and search them this allows me to send reminders vouchers discounts easier than the Timely set up.
The overall cost for me does not matter all of the systems are within coooeee of each other so thats not an issue.

Comments: I am a solo business operator and have been working with Timely for almost two years. I can honestly tell you that Timely has made life easier for me and my customers, who have told me how easy it is to book online 24/7 and how helpful the friendly reminders or rescheduled options are.

With Timely You can find everything you need within a click or two which makes pulling quarter report, checking my revenue and confirming client booking quick and easy.

I have all my stock listed in the system, which is great for keeping track of my orders and allows me to make quick sales if a customer wants to buy a products.

My favourite feature is the ability to have access to my agenda anywhere and on any of devices, which allows me the freedom to run my business where ever I might be and confirm bookings even if I¿m at the beach.

I could keep writing lots more but if you need software that will help you to run your business with minimal time and hassle, Timely is a great option.you won't regret it.

Pros: Ease of use by my clients.

Overall: I have been using the timely booking system for just over a year now. My clients comment on a regular basis on how easy it is to book online.
I was thrilled when Customer support representative responded to me multiple times on a Sunday to help me sort out an issue I was having. Turns out I just needed guidance to navigate my way. He was so patient, understanding, and very professional.

Pros: Automated reminders, easy to use.

Cons: As a one-person outfit who works across multiple locations, I find it annoying not to see all my appointments for the week on one screen. I don't want to go by location.

Overall: I have my own private practice as a psychologist. Having timely frees up time otherwise spent sending reminders etc when scheduling appointments. As someone not exactly born organised, I find it a real help.

Comments: I have been using Timely at my Sports Massage clinic, The Muscle Mechanics (Dunedin, NZ) for 1 year now. I had a look around other software and I'm stoked to have chosen Timely straight away. They are a forward thinking company, always streamlining their system to suit market expectations and technology which puts them ahead, this also makes me confident that the system will adapt to suit future technological changes. They also have very friendly, accessible and helpful staff for any confusion or problems I have had!
There is some room for improvement still in terms of functionality for a sports massage clinic (as the software was originally designed to suit hairdressers and beauty therapists as far as I understand). BUT they are improving the system to be more versatile for different businesses, and are really open to feedback and improvements.
Im stoked with Timely, wish I had stared using the system earlier, would have saved me tonnes of time!

Comments: It was a big jump for us going from the old paper diary and pencil to a computer and software but now we would never look back, it's such a dream to use day to day and so easy to personalise every detail to work in with your business. Love how all staff can view and make appointments from out of the salon and how great it blends with Xero. Super happy with the pricing and we would never be without it now.

Overall: I had previously trialled a few clinic management and client booking systems, but for me Timely is the easiest to use for both me and customers, great that you can access it via an app on your phone or iPad as well as the computer. I allow my customers to book their own appts online via my website and Clients love the email and SMS text reminders they receive before their appts. It saves us lots of time otherwise spent making and changing appts. I also use Timely as my invoicing tool and email clients after their treatments, and it's very user friendly.
