Pros: On the Registration it is easy to follow the proms so register the applicant, it is also convenient that all documents can be scan and attach to the registration so that way we don't have to keep to many files on hand but the most useful part is that the system keeps track on when insurance, licenses and registration has expire.

Cons: that we can only have one window open at the same time so if I am imputing a permit in and need to check something on the registration I need to get out and start all over again.

Overall: I really love the part of the system keep in track of the expiration day on the license, insurance and registration and at the same time it sends information to the contractor so they can email me that information or they can do it them self that saves a lot of time so as for us we are always up to date.

Pros: I love the overall ease of use of MyGov not only for my end as a City, but also for the contractors. I have heard numerous times from contractors that MyGov is simple to use, and to not change from it like a neighboring City recently did. We can customize the modules to be what we need them to be, such as for Permits, Parks, and Garage Sales. I also like that we can have more than one administrator for the site, and for each module, as well as set up each individual account to see certain modules and have certain permissions associated to those modules. The customer support is phenomenal, and always very helpful and responsive.

Cons: There are small things that each module could work on, for instance the licensing/contractor module could be a bit simpler, but it isn't anything that is hard to get used to once you know. Overall though, I do not have anything to complain about with them.

Pros: Very simple to use and dialogue with applicants is easy to correspond.

Cons: Attachments is difficult to use, in that the contractor almost 75% of the time fails to include their required uploaded documents (ie. state contr license, D.L., etc.)

Overall: We are currently using Version 4 with is License/Registration and are set to start the upgrade to Version 5 this summer. I am hopeful that the new version will take into account the wide array of uses that we have harnessed this software to do for our organization. We are currently using it to issue annual Health Permits and Alcohol Licenses since the expire every twelve months and we can collect a licensing fee each time.

Pros: The ability to allow contractors and Design professionals to apply for permits online and the ability to upload plans electronically

Cons: The tracking of projects. The time does not start when all information is received.

Pros: it's very manageable and we can add to it to accommodate.

Cons: can't always get support they have us fix it when they should fix it

Pros: It allows our city to track all contractor registrations for our city. That is very important for our goals and objectives.

Cons: Not user friendly, Not forgiving when a mistake is made by user. Whenever one change is made in module administration, it impacts too many other steps

Overall: It is a good value for the money, but not very user friendly. Too many steps involved to do simple data input. Customer Service is not immediate. Difficult to get live person to talk to.
