Cons

I don't have any issues with Birdeye. Like any new software there is a small learning curve when implementing but the value you receive to help with email communication and the security Birdeye offers is well worth it.

Easy to use and adopt - team was quickly onboarded and could take action both in setting up the reportings and gaining visibility but also to start responding and managing

Pros

Comprehensive tool to manage publicly available reviews, evaluations, display and findability of brand and business / stores / locations; nicely combines analytics with capabilities to manage and respond to create a positive public image.

Cons

Some of the functionality is heavily focused on social media in the original sense but not fully integrated into displaying and managing reviews or descriptions on booking platforms.

I have a small real estate company and I am perfectly capable of getting reviews on my own BUT I chose Birdeye because the promised to fix some issues I have problems with. I have a lot of buyers and seller that live out of the country and they were no able to leave reviews on google for me. Birdeye said "NO PROBLEM", we can help you with this. Well, they did NOT help and did NOT solve the problem!!! I also told them I wanted to connect to my personal FB page NOT my business pages. Of course they lied to me and they couldn't connect to my personal page! I also have two (don't ask me how that happend...) google business pages and I wanted to connect to the one that has all the reviews. Again, they said no problem......This is over8 month ago and still no solution for either one of my issues. I complained and complained and the only thing that happend is that they assigned a new person to me every thime I called. Wanted to cancel because they did nothing but lie to me BUT ofcourse they were not willing to let me out of the contract. $3000 total waste of money, time and energy!!!

Absolutley nothing, what they promised sounded good but they did not deliver at all!

Birdeye has greatly supported our efforts and enabled us to improve our social media presence. It is great that it removed inappropriate comments immediately and also helped those interested get a direct answer to their inquiries and directed them in the right way to get more information.

Pros

Birdeye brings all the capabilities together in one place. I loved its ability to ensure the quality of our posts and enable us to quickly sort out the rationales and get rid of any unwanted comments. It is great that Birdeye enhances our continuous monitoring and control over all our accounts. I love the ease of formulating multiple types of responses to suit all the expected comments. The reports are very useful and cover a lot of details efficiently.

Cons

Everything is easy with Birdeye after successfully integrating with all the social media platforms we use.

Our experience with BirdEye over the past year was one of the most frustrating and challenging periods we've ever had with a vendor. The onboarding process was incredibly painful, involving dozens of video calls, phone calls, and countless back-and-forth emails. Once we were finally on the system, the problems seemed never-ending. I estimate that I spent nearly 200 hours of my own time setting up our clients, not to mention the time invested by other team members. After six months, we could no longer, in good conscience, allow our clients to continue using such a flawed system and attempted to terminate our contract. Despite presenting all the issues we encountered from day one, BirdEye refused to cooperate and forced us to stay for the entire year. We felt they were in breach of contract given the numerous unresolved problems, but they disagreed and held us to the contract. Our agency initially chose BirdEye because they appeared to offer the solutions we needed for our clients, and we were excited to get started. However, we quickly discovered that many of their tools were not their own but rather integrations with third-party systems. When issues arose, BirdEye was unable to resolve them directly and had to contact the third parties, leaving us in a constant state of uncertainty. Some systems simply did not work, and we were advised not to sell them to our clients. Ironically, when we first signed up, a colleague from another agency warned me about BirdEye, jokingly asking if they had worked out all their bugs yet. I laughed it off at the time, but he was absolutely right. BirdEye might work for single business entities, but as an agency, they are far from ready to meet our needs. Given our experience, I would not recommend BirdEye to anyone. It is a huge relief that our difficult relationship with them has finally ended.

Pros

Reputation management was okay. Clients liked AI features, but all systems offer that now. Share to social was also a nice feature.

Cons

Onboarding was a nightmare. Customer support sub-par. Most tools are not their own and they had to reach out to 3rd parties to get things resolved, which happened a lot.

I have loved using Birdeye. They take the time to understand our business needs and understand our brand positioning. They offer applicable information, high quality tools, and an ever-changing range of product offerings. We have used them for 3 years now and don't have plans of stopping. We have done our due diligence in comparing this product to other similar tools, and Birdeye proves it belongs on top.

Pros

As an agency, this is a great additional revenue driver for not only the agency, but for our clients as well. Generating and fostering positive reviews and having the ability to manage negative ones is a great benefit to clients of all sectors. The approach Birdye takes is high quality and very fair for businesses and consumers alike. It even has applications for overall PR strategy for clients as well. There are a handful of competitiors to Birdeye that look like they generally "do the same thing", but if you want the job done right and done well, Birdeye is the unequivocal choice.

Cons

The only con from the agency perspective is that most businesses have a range of CRM's that their staff and leadership teams work in. Adoption to the tool for clients takes time and training. The Birdeye support team and tools are very helpful when getting over this roadblock.

Local listing management worked OK, but this is an extremely basic service that we could have gotten 100's of places.

Cons

Clients could not use the system due to constant bugs, outages and downtime, along with confusion about how to access services within the system in spite of training we had to perform ourselves because BirdEye offered no support. They wanted us to work with their overseas teams to diagnose and fix bugs in their own product. Rude and combative customer support for the past 6+ months. Without a doubt the worst vendor we've worked with in our 12+ years in business.

Overall, we are very happy with what Birdeye offers.

Pros

We use Birdeye to collect and manage Google and Facebook reviews of our product. We are impressed with the consumer-facing side of Birdeye. The automation of texting and emailing customers to request reviews is great. What we like the best is the way that the emails and text messages look when a customer receives them. The buttons are large and clear. The interface is easy to for the customer to use, and the process of writing a Facebook or Google review is really seamless and fast. Birdeye has helped us gather lots of reviews for Strong Cell. The best part of Birdeye is how the customer-facing interface handles negative feedback. When Birdeye presents the review request to the consumer, the button for Facebook and the button for Google are in blue, then at the bottom of the screen is a red button that requests negative feedback. When a customer clicks the red button, they are able to send our customer service team a message directly, giving us the opportunity to address their complaint, make it right, and provide a quality customer service experience. Meanwhile, arbitrating the potential negative review. This is fantastic.

Cons

The Shopify integration is not native. It is facilitated through Zapier. I prefer a native integration. Additionally, we feel limited in the widget options for displaying reviews on our site.

Pros

The ease of integration and automation to dental practice management systems for us and our clients is superb. Super simple to install. Customer service has also been superb, they are dedicated to solving problems.

Cons

The actual interface can sometimes be a bit difficult to navigate.

Overall experience with Birdeye is great. They are very helpful and informative. They help as soon as we ask for it and go above and beyond when it comes to showing us what we can do and use.

Pros

I love the customizable social feature. We have multiple clinics that all have different logos and colors. This helps make it very easy to post to all clinics at once. We also love the Reporting software. Its very easy to use and gives us all the basics that we need. Or if we would like to go in depth we can.

Cons

Survey integration has been our least favored item. It seems like we will need to change the way the front desk checks customers in, in order to use this correctly and this could get very messy. I loved how easy it is to use and customize but when it comes down to the front desk remembering to change the way they work on a day to day it will be difficult to incorporate and implement.

We've been with them for several years, and the value you receive is top-notch for this type of service. We have reviewed at least 10 of them over the years and have stayed with Birdeye since they provide great support.

Pros

One of the best things about Birdeye is the customer service. Our agency rep \[sensitive content hidden\] has been spot on answering our questions and getting resolutions to any issues we have. He has also been very supportive, providing assets to help us grow.Our clients would most likely not have a review system in place without us bringing a solution to the table, and Birdeye has allowed us to provide this comprehensive solution to help build our client pages on social platforms.

Cons

There are some small glitches with the connections, but that seems like an issue with a lot of platforms that are using API connections. You have to monitor your connections to make sure everything is still running smoothly. The monthly recap is a great way to identify missing connections but you still need to make sure things are connected properly.

Birdeye has a strong customer relations team. They genuinely seek to provide optimal service. They are caring and will resolve any concerns.

Pros

We use Birdeye for a multi-doctor practice. The reviews are sent to our patients after they leave our office. I check the dashboard regularly and respond to received reviews. The dashboard is easy to use. One feature that I appreciate is that each review states which location the patient was seen at and which doctor saw the patient. I can also "add a tag" with the name of the doctor that referred our patient to our practice. If I am looking for a review to use for a radio ad or in a marketing piece, I can search the reviews by doctor, location, procedure done, or key words. On a side note, we have a contest each month in our office of which doctor and team received the most reviews for the month! This encourages our team members to provide the highest quality of service to our patients and they also remind the patient that they are getting a review request and to please fill it out.

Cons

Years ago, when we first joined there were glitches in the software and the review requests would not send out. I could always tell because I would stop receiving reviews.

Because it is complicated for field service specialists to constantly check checks, Birdeye's perspective is very valuable. The busier the group of guys is, the less likely they will be to be slow to ask for a check, because Birdeye makes it easier for the specialists as they deliver what is required. Also, remembering passwords and browsing several different websites is equally or more difficult than remembering reviews. If a review has a score of less than 5, I want you to be able to get started immediately. Birdeye brings everything together in one accessible place plus it tells me about new releases. We have recently become registered with Birdeye, however, we can already see a distinction.

Pros

This program is really easy to learn and has provided a knowledge base, plus contact with the user if you want further assistance. It is hygienic, clear and easy to use. It brings all your notes together in one easy to find place. In addition to integrating with our field program for requesting repairs, it can be linked to the company's website and can be fully customized with company branding to match the look and feel of the website. It happens automatically every day and they will ask the customer a question twice more, waiting two days between requests. Repetition increases the percentage of the customer making the critique, however, they do not aggravate the customer.

Cons

Perhaps because we are novices at Birdeye, I don't care about their software problems. Everything works as it should.

Prior to using BirdEye, I had the vaguest notion of what entailed the process of online reviewing, HOW people and companies and businesses were actually able to procure such a steady stream of tremendous numbers of reviews and so quickly, in terms of date of service. It was bananas to me! Then, I had the pleasure of having the job of "sending a bird eye" to every one of our customers, right after I was hired, to be Dispatcher at a HVAC company, with absolutely no idea how a bird eye had anything to do with our business. I figured I just was not in on an inside joke and would have to learn that of course. I was given zero instruction other than the aforementioned line, we're talking I had NO IDEA what this was, what I was doing, or how I was going to do what I was supposed to be doing. Well, praise the high heavens and all the birds eyes in the sky that Bird Eye is what it is as I was able to learn EXACTLY what this system was, the importance of timely reviews, and exactly how to do the entire system simply by visiting the BirdEye website that first time. It is THAT intuitive and user-friendly, honestly, it's even FUN.

Pros

Absolutely EVERYTHING. For anyone who is tasked with being responsible for learning, implementing, and maintaining rigorous company reviews, quickly and with little to no instruction, the very reviews that Google proffer up upon searching either the respective company or simply the general industry, the reviews that are responsible for having an enormous impact on our first impression of a company and that are shown to the entire internet, those reviews, THIS exact software, this exact company BirdEye, IS what and all you need. Pinky swear. They have seriously taken this tremendous and immensely important component to a business' success and neatly packaged it into a one-size fits all, super intuitive, beyond simple to use and master and even FUN package. You WILL beast/slay the ever-present review dragon, you WILL please your boss and coworkers, as the reviews, rendered timely, efficient, and simple, keep gushing in. No matter the company's industry or scope of business, BirdEye IS THE eye in the revered review sky. Fly little review master, FLY!

Honestly, I found using BirdEye to be so fun, I realize I may be quite the outlier there, but as this is such a streamlined and easy set of steps, the same taken for each you send, doing the day's reviews is an almost therapeutic endeavor. I kid not. And I was so so grateful for how quickly I was able to understand and implement the process, having never been inconvenienced or plagued with ANY issues or problems or hiccups, I'd be remiss if I didn't say that may be there should be an appreciation show dedicated that we can call "BirdEye for the Queer AND Straight Guys." No cons.

I lost money by using BirdEye and they still wont fix the issues!

Lots of issues with integrations and billing but most of all I purchased Yext through them and was given Synup! I was lied to and when I called them out on it they said oh we will give you Yext now, I asked for a refund and they said they were working on it, I found this out at the end of July or beginning of August then I told them I would not be renewing my 25 locations, they then said they would send me a new contract, tried to get me to sign a 3-year contract, I refused and said I wanted to drop down to 10 locations, they then sent me a new contract for one year, I didn't sign, then they auto renewed, I'm reporting them to the state attorney! Also everyone I dealt with was fired or left!
