What I love is the way they have tweaked it for our unique needs over the years. We asked for a marketing piece and it was created for us and works very well. Combining marketing forecasting and purchasing has been a winning combination to handle the fluctuations in our business. We were able to reduce days on hand. Pros Flexibility. Cons Anything that hasn't worked for us has been adapted or changed to fit with our market. We run a multi-million dollar warehouse and have successfully managed tens of thousands of part numbers and millions of dollars in inventory using MARS software. This software manages fill rate, lead time, order frequency with ease. One of our favorite features is the goal seek which allows a specific dollar amount or quantity order. Another feature we use often is the order discount which projects the order based on a certain discount allowed. We continue to be very pleased with our MARS software and would highly recommend. I am not sure about the value since I do not pay the bill. 2. I think that the suggested orders are sometimes questionable. This is true with Venus forecasts, trending and standard forecast. 3. Sometimes I wonder if it even takes the Venus' forecasts in its calculations at all. 4. This is all I can think of at this time.
