I have no problem using , but I wouldn't say it is the most user-friendly or simplest tool out there. If employers are looking to simply manage schedules and hours, it works, but it can feel cumbersome and unreliable at times.

Pros

This tool works very well for simply managing schedules, hours, and clock-in and -out times. All employees need to do after registering is click a few buttons to manage their time on the clock. The ability to message other employees and organize shift trades and availability is also quite nice.

Cons

I've found that the mobile version isn't the most reliable. Some days it is a struggle to get the app to load or register my clock-in time. I occasionally get messages that take hours to become available, stating "unsupported message" type for the first hour or so. Then randomly I have the ability to view the message later in the day.

Pros

I run a large salon and using to schedule support staff has been a game changer! Saves me time every month.

Cons

I only use as a scheduling software and time clock but the price is tiered in a way that requires me to pay for the mid tier even though I only use about 50% of features. If you want staff to be able to swap shifts, you have to go up a tier.

Pros

Imports payroll information seamlessly into payroll program. Significantly curtails unauthorized overtime. Request function allows staff to trade shifts, request time off establishing an electronic date and thereby ensuring that staffing is adequate.

Cons

GPS doesn't always recognize arrival time, necessitating staff members to either delete and reload the app or clock in manually, which defeats the purpose of "touchless" timeclock.

It's been good. Overall it's solved the employee timeclock and scheduling, the company is growing in the right direction but there is some pain points with updates and scheduling rules that still give me some pause when using this.

Pros

Okay, starting out this software is very easy to use. Some stand out features, is the employee chat, shift swapping and time off requests. I like the time clock functions it's pretty simple to use and setup for the teams.

Cons

First things first the updates/changes are not communicated to managers, so we all have to constantly keep track of any new changes we notice. It's rather difficult, there should be a change log with documentation. Secondly they changed access to the custom reports and it's no longer available, we definitely could have used that.

Great, saves time and keeps people up today with the ever changing schedule of a seasonal recreational business.

Pros

How easy it is to have staff clock in and out. I also love how easy it is to fix hours when staff forget to clock in or out.

Cons

When setting up schedules you can not just copy one employee from week to week.

Pros

Easy to use. Can request days off and ask if others will cover and everyone gets alerts. If someone decides to accept your day, you get the alert. Messaging system to everyone.

We can not say enough about and how it has helped our business grow to 7 locations across 3 states ( FL, TX, and NV) with some 80 employees. We could not have managed our staff, Labor cost, Scheduling, Labor Cost Management, and get the support anywhere other than Homebase. When we receive calls from other companies promising everything, it's a short conversation once we inform them of all the FREE services we currently get from Homebase. Staff training took less than 5 minutes. With the Mobile App. They now schedule their own shifts and changes to the schedule. They communicate with us and other employees. Homebase feeds into our payroll, gives us a real-time complete one screen view of our organization, including real-time sales, real-time Labor cost, who is working at what location all from our mobile phone. We are able to make an adjustment on the fly if our sales to labor cost are out of balance by sending someone home early or get extra help when required. All this over a coffee or lunch. LOW-STRESS MANAGEMENT.

Easier Scheduling.

Pros

Very easy to implement the basics. Makes scheduling easier.

Cons

The messaging feature is getting better but still needs a lot of work and more control of who can post what and where. The integration with our POS system (Talech) is supposed to work but doesn't. We have to run reports from Talech to gather tip amounts then manually combine them with cash tips and hourly reports from to generate payroll. Instead of trying to fix the problem Homebase suggested we switch POS providers. Support is slow to respond and enhancement requests sometimes seem to fall on deaf ears with no feedback if problems are being addressed.

The best part about it makes doing payroll must faster since all the hours are calculated correctly.

Since our company continued to grow with more employees it was too time consuming to continue to use time clock and the time sheets. tracks all hours for the employees which they simplify into a payroll summary which saves me time when I am doing the payroll.

Haven't had a problem. Zero down time its a great product.

Pros

Sure you can do a Google doc, use your point of sale but do you really know your hourly burn? This changed our business. Saved us on overtime, an unemployment claim and even a workers comp False claim. Not to mention scheduling is a breeze and the alerts are perfect.

Cons

I love it. We use it for communications etc.

Its easy to learn and my staff loves it. They love being able to claim an open shift, request time off and even trade shifts with eachother. I like how it notifies me to approve these changes.

I love the phone app for the staff and being able to claim an open shift or trade shifts or request coverage.

Cons

Need events to be multi-day so you don't have to list the same event each day... if it could have a start/end date that would be fabulous.

I am a new business owner ( well almost 2 years now) The first time creating a work schedule for my team was stressful and frustrating. Someone suggested . The customer service was amazing, they were patient and helpful in getting set up and comfortable. Smooth sailing now!

Can't think of anything, its so easy to use, and I love the app.

I believe that hit it out of the park with this app. The cost and usability are great. I would recommend this app to anyone that needs to track employees hours and other employee info.

Pros

The software is easy to use and has been very helpful to track our employees time and also to create and deploy our schedules. Also for tracking labor it is very useful.

Cons

There is very little to dislike. That is why I keep using it.

We haven't had any glitches with it which is nice. Often apps will have features that don't work correctly but this one has been tried and true.

Pros

I use this most for scheduling and for the team to request time off, I like that they can't request days based on settings that I use.

Cons

Some of the features are pretty pricey for a small company.

It helps me, and my employees have access to the schedule at home! Which was my main reason for starting to use the program.

Pros

has everything you could need to run a business. Scheduling, time off requests, availability, shift swap, open shift options, payroll, and helps track hours used and money earned. I love it, it makes my job so much simpler!

Cons

Honestly, the only thing I can complain about is the price. $80 a month, plus $36 for the payroll program AND $6 per person in payroll?! I'll stick to the free version haha.

Overall, I am a very big fan. Price is great, and it makes scheduling / time clock management super easy. I have recommended to other restaurant owners, and definitely would again.

Pros

\- I love the scheduling functionality all-around. The ability to repeat schedules for future weeks, the way I can apply one shift to multiple days for an employee, etc. - I love the way the ease with which my employees can switch shifts with each other within the app. - The iPhone app is great.

Cons

My one issue is that sometimes the time-clock has issues syncing with my payroll company. That being said, I don't really know if that's an issue on the Paychex end or on the end.

Great system, great help for manager.

Pros

The scheduling and clock in/out is the most frequently used piece in my application. The scheduling save me a lot of time. Employees being alerted for being on time. I can also monitor who's get to work late, so I can mitigate the impact (we are restaurant). It's a great system. There are also a lot of information regarding to HR practice, labor law.

Cons

I haven't fully explore many functions. All the ones I used served the purpose.

It came with our Clover a basic version. I liked it so much, so we upgraded it.

Pretty much a decent experience, our team was happy to use it and makes accounting easy. Very easy to export the data to sheets and create reports accordingly!

Pros

How easy it is for workers to sign in, check their schedule, request time off, all in one place and using one app! Easy and simple app, will use again!

Cons

One improvement could be making the sign in using worker's device on shared wifi? If the feature was already there, apologies!

Overall, this software is a great tool for any company and it has definitely made ours more efficient.

Pros

has a simple interface with a design that is pleasing to look at and I appreciate that the most about this software. I also like that it displays the time you've worked throughout the week with a total of what you've earned as well; this is great for keeping within your hours.

Cons

What I like least about this software is that there are features on here that I feel are not used to their full potential; this could also be due to the fact that our company doesn't focus so much on delving into such features.
