I have been a user for over 5 years and have recommended it to several other workplaces and employee managers. Tech support has always been great to work with and issues are handled in a timely manner. I love the ease of use and user friendly mobile application.

Pros

Ease of creating shifts, schedules. User friendly interface. Easy drag and drop shift assignments. Reasonable costs.

Cons

I don’t really have any cons about this product.

is great easy to set up and use very affordable. The platform has job posting and HR as well into this amazing system.

Pros

has everything you need in one platform from messaging, scheduling, time clock, requesting time off and change shifts. Customer service is great and the payroll is super easy to use and set up.

Cons

doesn’t have any cons in the platforms as everything a small business will need is included into one affordable simple to use system.

### "Good and Easy, but..."

We use for two different businesses. Overall it is good and easy to use, however they have some back end problems. When logging out of one of my accounts and into another, things get messed up. Sometimes it logs me into the wrong account. Sometimes it logs me into the right account but won't show any data. On the PC I can use incognito mode to log in and it is all good, but the app doesn't work that way, so I have to use the app for just one of my companies. That is a bit of a pain. The pricing is fair, but if the backend issues don't get resolved, I will look for a different solution.

Pros

is a easy software to learn. It covers the basics of what we need to do to schedule our team and communicate with them.

Cons

There are features that would be helpful but are not included lower tier plans, but don't warrant the change in pricing to go to a higher tier. For example, overtime calculation across sites. Or another example would be attaching documents to team members. These things would help, but the price jump to turn them on is too extreme.

It is a great place for chat and communication. Provides real-time clock-in and clock-out for employees. It is secure for management to make their schedule, and for employees to access it on their mobile devices. It is great for management as it also offers payroll integration. It provides checklist, and task reducing making communication easy.

Pros

can be accessed from anywhere with just a few clicks. Homebase helps reduce a lot of manual labor. It is definitely value for money as it can be accessed for free. If not, Homebase also has flexible pricing based on the company's needs. It has readily available customer support.

Cons

It is simple to use, so really nothing to like least about . Considering that the Basics is free, a lot of small businesses can benefit from it. However, if you have more than 10 employees, for example, you can pay for their next cheaper version, and pay a few extra cents to add each extra employee, and benefit more of its features.

### "Great employee management software for small business"

This platform has been a game changer for my small business. It is easy to use, their support is always prompt and helpful, and it saves me several hours of work every week!

Pros

has easy to use features, I didn't feel like I needed a long training session to learn how to use the platform. It's intuitive, user-friendly, and packed with features. We love the fact that scheduling, timecards, payroll and employee messaging are all in one system, our previous system only offered payroll.

Cons

The auto-scheduling tool seemed so exciting, since I run a daycare and we have constantly changing schedule needs. However, it never worked well at all. I tried putting in all of the information but it would schedule people all over the place, leave classrooms without a teacher, or schedule staff for times they weren't available.

Not one that I will ever be able to give a chance for my use again. Paid $500!” Roughly for a year. Used it less that 30 days and asked to cancel and refund and 4 month now and have yet to receive my refund.

Pros

Unfortunately not a highly recommended use for anything. Highly priced for the quality of service to help answer any question or provide any additional assistance on guidance.

Cons

When setting up payroll for a new business they will not allow you to fully account for state/ federal taxes on payroll until you obtain a UI rating which cannot be done until you pay your first employee $1500+ in payroll payments. So pretty useless to have if they don’t allow you to pay anyone until info is provided which can’t be done until payment was processed

Process flows, communication and messaging between departments. Recruiting, employment contracts, communication with employees and much more.

Pros

Centralized management of all employees data, with numerous configuration options for working time and contract types. It also offers options for implementing custom requirements and meeting regulatory requirements using APIs, custom workflows and employee questionnaires.

Cons

We would like to see more export options configurable via the GUI, for example, for creating performance reports based on time tracking. It would also be nice to be able to centrally export and archive all employees data into a single document.

The very best decision we have made that reduced our time with payroll and improved our recored keeping! Both management and our staff have been very happy with our move to !

Pros

We used ADP for 6 years. When we moved to we decreased our time doing payroll and onboarding. The system is rock solid and very easy to use. When I have a question, they are very responsive. The Homebase team is fantastic!

Cons

In our business the government requires breaks every 4 hours and in order to make sure that time is deducted by the system, we have to manually enter it for each employee's shift. While it does not take too long, it could easily be automated and I know other payroll system do it automatically.

We like we use it for two of our businesses. Its easy to understand. Best used for stand alone business not idea for a mobile food truck because there is lot a locations section.

Pros

The interface. Ease of understanding the software. Easy to train a manager or assistance manager. If you use Clover it is already tied into their software making it easy for clocking in. Hard to get another clocking in program into Clover.

Cons

Main con is I don't think you can't use it for multiple locations even if its within your same one business. You have to purchase a second or third subscription for multiple locations. Not ideal for a mobile food truck. Much more for stand alone business.

### "Great scheduling software for small business"

We had tried to manage scheduling in house for the first year we were open and realized we needed a centralized program to help manage communication between management and employees. This platform provided that service in an easy to use way. The younger employees very much enjoyed the app format as well.

Pros

We appreciated the communication features between management and our employees. It also streamlined the scheduling process, provided some HR tools, and integrated with payroll.

Cons

It is not suitable for a larger business as it's functionality is more on the basic side. We only had 10 paid employees, but we also had 40+ volunteers. While the app was great for scheduling our paid employees, we struggled using it for the volunteers.

It makes my job so easy when it comes to keeping up with employees & tracking their hours. I want to see what the payroll piece will do. While I have a CPA doing my book keeping and doing payroll which cost me 600 monthly for two location. I want to really need to save money.

Pros

I love the way I can manage my employees schedule using , make schedules, and update pricing. The Clover is the best POS system since sliced bread.

Cons

I want to use HR, but it's too high for me at this time. I need to get a employee hand book completed and I have yet to do it and I've been using to almost 9 years.

Very well! I would recommend for others! It is very similar to many scheduling apps, features are easily digestible and employees don’t have a hard time utilizing the features

Scheduling with ease! I try different softwares and this is a very reliable scheduling app! Wasn’t hard to understand, love the colors!

Cons

The pricing but aside from this all is well! Pricing is a huge factor taken into consideration when expiring scheduling apps and this would be considerably on the higher end

Generally I like it fine. I’ve used several apps-‘ especially regarding scheduling, I do wish it worked a little more intuitively - especially on touch devices - overall it works fine.

Pros

Comprehensive functionality - a one stop shop for all info for all staff. Helps especially from management side to have this in one spot.

Cons

Occasional glitches, iOS, macOS compatibility - wish the app functioned better for higher level needs- scheduling etc.

I liked how effective the time tracking tool was! I could easily log and view a summary of my hours.

Cons

There were troubles with my staff being able log in and out the system. did not have an auto clock-out feature.

Nice time tracking software, but clunky. The reporting is barely satisfactory, and we are still having to make calculations.

Pros

Easy tracking software for employee time off. It is simple for employees to use, and includes GPS validation if the employee uses their mobile device.

Cons

The website is not well organized at ALL. I am constantly having to click into multiple menus to find what I need. Nothing is where it feels natural to be, and there are too many options across a bunch of different places that all should be in the same menu. Holidays can be programmed for if an employee clocks IN for the day, but not for a holiday that isn't worked.

One of the features I appreciated most was the ability to clock in and out online convenient and efficient, especially for remote or flexible work environments.

Pros

is user friendly, reliable, and well-suited for teams of any size. It simplifies time tracking and boosts overall efficiency an excellent tool for managing workforce hours with precision. I also found the Daily Review and Pay Period Review options particularly useful. These features allow you to view and edit timecards with ease, helping you keep an accurate record of hours worked throughout the pay period.

Cons

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about using —it’s reliable, easy to use, and packed with helpful features that made tracking time, breaks, and total hours effortless and accurate.

It's been great. I hope they keep their basic features free indefinitely. I've been using them since 2017 ever since I've been using the Clover Mini.

Pros

It's free for the features that I need which is their time clock app. I'm able to easily edit the time clock as needed and it takes a picture of the person signing in to confirm the person.

Cons

Nothing that I can think of b/c it's a free so I can't complain. In addition, I don't use all their features so I can't comment on that.

We started using this about 4 years ago, as a way to help manage our schedule and payroll a bit better, and the idea that employees could swap shifts and have it only approved by MGMT online was very appealing.

Pros

I like the layout of the program, and the ease of use to get started. It's solid for time-tracking my employees, and they enjoy being able to access their schedule online

Cons

It's a touch pricey if you have more than one store, and the customer support, while not terrible, does take a little time to get through to.

Pros

is an excellent payroll platform that is convenient for team collaboration as well as individual use. It allows for easy clock in and out, time tracking, scheduling, and direct messaging.

Cons

will not allow clocking in or out a few feet away from your company location. You must adjust your position precisely when attempting to clock in or out.
