Pros

I really appreciated the user-friendly interface of Homebase. It made scheduling and time tracking incredibly easy and efficient. The ability to communicate with my team directly through the app was also a huge plus, as it streamlined our workflow and reduced the need for multiple communication tools. Additionally, the customer support was always responsive and helpful whenever we had any questions or issues.

Cons

Overall, it has been a wonderful project for scheduling. Our team loves that they get the email updates and know when a schedule has been published. We also use the in-app communication platform a lot for people to swap shifts, which is really helpful.

Pros

An easy system to keep everyone up to date on schedules, changes to scheduling and availability.

Cons

It could be tricky sometimes to set roving or static availabilities, without then having to change the entire schedule but it did seem to improve mostly after speaking to customer service!

Pros

We like that our employees can be notified of schedule changes quickly, and they have the ability to trade shifts.

Cons

We are very happy with Homebase. We have no cons.

This app is very useful! You can communicate with your entire team through group message threads or individually. Homebase makes onboarding tasks simple and convenient.

Pros

Scheduling- it’s easy to request time off, pick up shifts, drop or trade shifts. I love how your able to view your schedule as well as see which team members you will be working with on certain shifts.

Cons

I like everything on Homebase! No complaints!

Our overall experience with Homebase is really good. It let's new employees enter onboarding tasks more easily. The team notes and communication features are av really great touch. The app allows employees to clock in when they are on site and clock out when leaving the site.

Pros

I love the team chat feature. We have used it for employee note sharing and we reference it often for important events and medical knowledge.

Cons

Signing in as management could be easier. It usually only works on the desk top for me to access management features.

Pros

I liked that it allows people to take cash advances from their next payments.

Cons

I didn’t like that the cash advances were only available for USA banks.

Homebase has been a great scheduling app and is compatible from my iphone for on deman scheduling. Working full time along with a few part time jobs, seamless scheduling is important and Homebase is perfect for my needs.

Pros

One of the features I like most about Homebase is the ease of scheduling feature. I can pick up shifts, swapping shifts, and track myhours. As a part time worker who also works full time at another company, seamless scheduling is a critical feature.

Cons

Because my part time company requires sign in and sign out sheets, the time clock feature isn't a feature I use but it pops up everytime. It is likely a feature I do not know how to change settings for.

For the most part great...We just need to resolve the connectivity issues with WiFi -

Cons

We have a connectivity issue everyday. This is a hassle, because the employees do not notify the business office and we find out about later. The employee usually remembers the time, but if they don't we use other measures for the time.

Reason for choosing Homebase

My boss is really thrifty and old school. He hates having a software that charges off subscription. Just in 2021, Ainsworth Motors went from QuickBooks Desktop to Autosoft (Legacy product) intergrated and approved by Ford to submit Ford Financials.

Having scheduling, time tracking, payroll, tax filing, workers comp insurance and audits all in one place is a lifesaver.

Pros

It's been a valuable tool for being able to use historical sales data to decide how many employees to schedule on any given day. It helps me budget wages accurately.

Cons

Some functionality is clunky with too many steps, occasionally we have problems with the time clock, geolocation doesn't work.

Switched from

[Gusto](https://www.capterra.com/p/131882/Gusto/)

Gusto did not have a scheduling function and was more expensive than Homebase.
