Pros The increasingly diverse template gallery is awesome. Every time I use Visme I come across another platform I could use this with (such as animated presentations, infographics, logo creation, resumes and more). Let's less-experienced people play around with designing and laying out marketing materials, in other words practicing design, while making it easy to get assets and premade modules. Pros Visme is an awesome tool for making marketing materials that are clean and concise. The potential for creating attention-grabbing slideshows, awesome infographics, or a beautiful e-book is all there. I've only been using Visme for maybe 2 months and I've created some great things for our marketing team and our sales team at work. Cons There are some bugs with functionality when handling objects, whether it's a text box or icon or picture, these things can be difficult to select, move and adjust size. For example: When I drag and drop one of the premade data visualization modules it's nice and easy... But I will try to resize a text box inside one of these modules, or readjust alignments of different pieces of a module and it will lose all functionality and it will take me 20-30 minutes to fix what I did wrong (side note: the undo button is very broken) Review Source SB Simon B. Pros Visme is easy to pick up and work with. The options for how to download, embed, and/or share your projects is great. Support has been very responsive and issues get fixed pretty quickly. We looked at other ways that we could incorporate interactive content to our stack and most other tools were 4x-5x as expensive. Visme has made it far easier to iterate our content and engage viewers. Cons Visme has just come out of beta, and at its price point I don't think you can expect all the bells and whistles. That being said, things like integration to Marketo for lead management, and more robust animation controls would be huge benefit. These people are mostly elderly and without internet. We found the ideal tool with visme. Easy, reactive, in constant evolution and an exceptional support. Visme and its support team, is considered as a partner within the team. Pros Quality, ethics, ease, accessibility, continuous improvement, support, listening, training, intuitiveness... Cons None, i am a big fan! If I have to pick, it would be about the payement organisation. My hospital couldn't pay , They didn't have a crédit card, I personnaly had to pay first. But it is peanuts ! Reason for choosing Visme I had tried the free version for a big project the year before. What I had realized then (logigrams and other) had won a global adhesion of the multiple partners of the project... In the urgency I turned to what I knew to work. And everyone is delighted. I love the ability to install corporate images and fonts, and the availability of staff to customise these. While I concentrate on infographics it is great to have an alternative to powerpoint - so much more engaging purely because its different. Period. If that is all you care about, then no need to read further. This tool accomplishes that goal and allows you to make a great looking presentation, infographics, and other media. The availability of stock images and icons within the app are great - and the predefined slide templates are a fantastic starting point. Cons Wow, this was so much harder to use than Powerpoint, Beautiful.Ai, Slides, and even Prezi. I understand that when I go from Microsoft paint to photoshop that photoshop is going to be much harder and more complex, and photoshop doesn't shy away from that distinction; but with Visme, it is billed as an easy-to-use tool that makes it a beautiful presentation (it does) with minimal effort (it doesn't). Some of the easiest things like bulk changing text format, customizing colors, moving and resizing objects all become a tedious and repetitive task. I signed up for the free trial that showed this functionality > bought the membership > spent the best part of a week designing the infographic > then found out it was a waste of time. It took days of back and forth with their customer support to find out this functionality actually does not exist outside of the platform. You cannot export what you've designed onto your website with that parallax animation. Very non-transparent; waste of time and money. Pros \- Easy-to-use design functionality. - But.... Cons \- If you want to make an interactive infographic, you're out of luck. You can create one but there's no option to put it on your website so it animates as you scroll. - The customer support is poor (one-word answers on live chat). I also wanted to easily add small icons and play around with the overall structure in a way similar to PowerPoint but not for the sake of a slide. If you are going to use Visme for more than 2/3 days and need decent graphs out of it, I highly recommend you buy the monthly subscription which you can cancel after as the perks were really good ! I also view many videos on the youtube channel of visme and follow the course 'Become a Certified Presentation Guru' so I have a solid basis to start. Pros For a long time, I'm looking for software that makes it possible to improve my presentations for my colleagues and clients. I was so bored with all the bullet points powerpoint presentations people still use these days and now I stop my quest for the ultimate solution since I met Visme. I just started to use Visme and still explore all the possibilities but so far I'm really pleased with all the features it offers. I love the templates and the variety of themes that are available. I'm also impressed by the frequent updates of 'What's New in Visme'. At the moment I use the standard subscription but soon I will need the business subscription. I'm hooked. The usability is great also the support is quick and professional when I have questions. Cons In my presentations, I frequently use land maps of the Netherlands. Unfortunately, the map of my country is not correct so I cannot use it at this moment. But I'm sure the Development Team will find the time to adjust this soon. Some clunkyness that I specified above makes creating a slideshow take a bit of time compared to using software like PowerPoint, but you can't argue with the results. The slides are infinitely better than anything you can do with PowerPoint. Pros The crispness and simplicity of the final slides. Cons A few tweaks would make this software better. Being able to paste images onto slides would be great. Also, when you want to change text, you can't just highlight all the text and start typing or backspace it and start typing because it will change the font and format. So, I have to highlight all of the text except one letter, and then backspace the last letter once, and then I can type and keep the same formatting. It's pretty aggravating and slows things down. I also don't really like how the default import image drops into the background, so I end up dragging another photo onto the canvas, which I then replace with the image that I want to use. Finally, if I create an infographic within Visme, I don't think there is a way for me to import it into my presentation, which would be really useful.
