### "The Backbone of Our Multi-Location Operations"

May 26, 2026

5.0

Pros

Scheduling and time tracking are genuinely seamless. Managers across our different locations can create, adjust, and publish shifts in minutes, and the GPS-enabled clock-in/out has eliminated attendance ambiguity completely. Real-time visibility into who is where and when has made workforce planning significantly more confident and accurate.

Cons

Payroll integration could be deeper — we still export timesheets manually rather than having a direct sync. The desktop admin portal, while functional, doesn’t quite match the polish of the mobile experience.

### "Easy to use and AMAZING for team communication"

July 2, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience with Connecteam has been really positive. It has made it much easier to keep our team organised, communicate quickly, and manage day-to-day tasks in one place. The quick task feature is especially helpful for assigning jobs and following things up, and the chat button makes it simple to contact staff without relying on separate text messages or phone calls. It is easy to use, practical, and has helped streamline how we manage our team.

Pros

Connecteam has made managing our team so much easier and more organised. I really like the quick task feature because it allows me to assign jobs, follow up on things, and keep track of what still needs to be done without everything getting lost in messages. The chat button is also one of my favourite features because it makes communication with staff quick and simple. It keeps everything in one place, instead of having to rely on phone calls, texts, and different apps. Overall, it is easy to use, practical, and has helped our business run more smoothly.

Cons

There is not anything I dislike about Connecteam so far. Like any new system, it can take a little bit of time to get everything set up properly and get the team used to using it consistently. Once it is set up and everyone understands how to use it, it becomes a really helpful tool for day to day business management.

### "Connect Team Review"

June 1, 2026

3.0

I do enjoy how everything we need as a team is in one place. Whether it is the calendar, scheduler, texting, celebration etc., all in one.

Pros

I do like that the whole team can connect in one place. We can create chats according to different topics/teams etc., and that is quiet helpful.

Cons

I do not like that it looks cluttered. It seems to have repeat of the same features…? that I quiet do not know how to navigate to. -Also, the calendar feature is bit hard to use to schedule or put in your shift.

### "Excellent product. A must have!!!"

May 12, 2026

5.0

The migration to Connecteam has been nothing but positive. As an overall team management tool it exceeds all expectations. Be it time tracking, resource allocation or just communicating with your team, the system has it all. You can upskill and update your entire team effortlessly and monitor how they are progressing without having to constantly apply time to the task. The functionality of tracking your expense versus resources applied is ideal for looking at the bottom line. All in all the value of the system exceeds the monetary investment. It is small cost to pay for the benefits Connecteam provides.

Pros

The Communication efficiency, forms and updates are exceptional. Allocating tasks ahead of time means you can constantly be ahead of the demand and stay on top of workflows. The system itself is sound so I have not experienced any bugs or issues since inception of our rollout. Even so the Connecteam support is always ready to help even with the smallest of questions if the need arises. The staff are able to access the system seamlessly and have reported, happily so, that the ease of acccessing SOPS and information from the knowledge base has given them a valuable tool.

Cons

I have not had any negatives in using the system. The design of the system is focussed to be a beneficial toll in all aspects. It definatley delivers on its promises and has helped our team become more efficient and streamlined.

5.0

Was quick to put in place. Sales team and support team is great and always available to assist when needed. I've recommend the products to a bunch of my fellow directors of other businesses. Worth every penny spent!

Pros

Ease of use for our managing staff and payroll team. We saved a lot of time at every level where we need to follow worked hours. Dummy proof system for our technicians and easy to spot over, over-time and address issues with breaks.

Cons

### "Great Platform for any Business. "

July 9, 2026

5.0

Overall it has been great for my staff to use. It has streamlined operations and has made ease of data collection and corrective actions on forms great.

Pros

That it is very easy to use and a bonus that it is free. It is easy to use for non technical staff. The forms are easy to use and build. We like the all-in-one functionality.

Cons

I wish that it would put forms and documents in knowledge base in alphabetical order. Some features are locked behind upgrades.

Very good overall and a large improvement from the platform we switched from. Mostly reliable but occasionally get errors. A refresh is usually enough to move forward though.

### "Very good app, missed clock in alerts is my favourite "

June 2, 2026

4.0

It’s very good it has fixed issues we were missing from using Teams. Overall it has worked well and customer service seems to be efficient and listens to what we have to say in respects to improving it.

Pros

The ability to have notifications when employees have not clocked into a shift, this has saved a lot of unhappy people.

Cons

I wish you could do a straight swap for shifts instead of a shift replacement. Currently employee one has to send the shift to employee two and then employee two sends the other one to employee one. It would be better if you could go to your shift then select the employee and select the shift you want to swap with.

Very positive, we have really enjoyed using the product and it has greatly improved our team communications

Pros

I like how easy it is to use for the whole team - it has made team comms so much easier and faster for everyone to use. The time clock is also great

Cons

### "Connecteam - Wonderful experience / Great platform "

June 22, 2026

5.0

Wonderful!! from start to finish with our onboarding setup everyone was very helpful. Always ready to address my questions or issues and willing to help find the best way for the platform to serve our employees needs.

Pros

The ease of use of the platform and the wonderful support getting us up and running. The screens for my employees are very easy to navigate both on the computer and one the phone app.

Cons

Some additional features that may have worked out for our staff would have ended up increasing the cost per employee.

### "Quality and value"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, I would recommend Connecteam to any small to medium organization; it will help you grow in efficiency and provide the highest quality HR tools for the price, hands down. And now is the time to join, because we are getting new features at our current pricing, and with as much as they are adding, the price will have to go up.

Pros

My favorite thing about Connecteam is the spectrum of services! However, High-quality time-tracking, scheduling, and onboarding tools are the key specific draws for us. There is no question that Connecteam offers the best value for the price. The most unique thing I love about Connecteam is the fact that they publish user feedback and how they are using that information to prioritize their R&D and add new functions to their software. It's innovative and transparent.

Cons

Sometimes, the fact that Connecteam is sold in modules (operations, HR&skills, and communications) hampers how the apps within those modules interact with each other. Connecteam is trying to address this with integrations, but it's still a little bumpy sometimes. Also, sometimes the features that are locked or accessible at various pay tiers don't make sense to me, but I'm sure there's internal data that bears that out.

### "Positive first six months with Connecteam"

March 26, 2026

5.0

Introducing Connecteam has streamlined our scheduling in a big way and improved productivity and communication. We had been using Slack but were still scheduling by hand. Connecteam has saved us time and empowered other managers to create monthly schedules ahead of time and to do so quickly.

Pros

Easy to use, increased efficiency in scheduling, great UI. Connecteam has streamlined our scheduling process and cultivated better communication with our team. When we struggle to get information disseminated among our staff we start by asking "How can we use Connecteam to help us through this?" and find a solution quickly.

Cons

I wish I could dial in notifications a little more, especially for group chats vs. messages directly to me. I've turned off notifications for scheduling but still find that I get a lot more notifications than I need to be receiving--and I'm the general manager, so I usually need to be in the know. I also wish there was a way to increase the urgency of a shift that is open and needs to be filled and communicate that to staff without necessarily filling up our chat.

### "Connecteam For Veterinary"

March 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Connecteam has been positive. The platform delivers a strong, user-friendly mobile and web experience for frontline teams, making scheduling, time tracking, and team communication simple and reliable. Built-in checklists, forms, and task management helped streamline daily operations and compliance, and the affordable pricing made it a good fit for small-to-mid sized businesses.

Pros

Intuitive, easy-to-use mobile and web interface that staff adopt quickly. Robust scheduling with drag-and-drop, shift swapping, and notifications that reduce no-shows. Built-in time tracking and payroll export that streamlines attendance and payroll processes. Centralized team communication (feed, chat, announcements) that replaces scattered emails and texts. Customizable checklists, forms, and workflows for compliance, training, and daily operations. Task management and KPI tracking that keep teams accountable and measurable. Offline functionality and reliable mobile app for frontline workers on the go. Affordable pricing and clear feature tiers that fit small-to-mid sized businesses. Responsive customer support and helpful onboarding resources.

Cons

Limited advanced reporting and analytics compared with dedicated BI tools. Some features lack deep customization (e.g., reports, certain forms/workflows). Admin interface can feel cluttered and has a learning curve for complex setups. Occasional mobile notification delays or inconsistencies for frontline users.

### "Streamlined many of our business practices!"

March 16, 2026

5.0

Love it! As an Administrative Assistant to the Founder/CEO of a small business, I deeply appreciate how many problems Connecteam solves. Rather than using multiple apps and leaving files in a cloud and managing them, Connecteam does it all.

Pros

Connecteam has been so helpful for our small business. It handles everything from HR to training, and even streamlines inner-staff communications. It's genuinely been a life-saving tool for our company. The customer support and even the AI support have been excellent! If you have a question, it isn't long before you find an answer. They even give personalized video tutorials if necessary, and sincerely try to help. We've been able to abolish many bottlenecks and staff hurdles by using this platform. Once you get past the slight, initial learning curve, the platform is easy to use too. It's been wonderful!

Cons

They appear to be working on developing a bit more fluidity across the different sections, which will be super helpful.

### "Office Manager"

April 27, 2026

4.0

Overall, connecteam has been a great step for our organization. I wish we could find a way to make entering payroll time more efficient, but it's still an improvement to what we had before. Our onboarding was alright; I never felt like we were super prepared until we just went live and dealt with the issues as they came. In a prior job, I did major ERP implementations as a Financial team lead, I have done the integration and testing steps and the training. This software is what it is for what you pay. There are some standard things that would make sense for Connecteam to implement, but development comes with a price.

Pros

The value for the money we paid; ease of use, teaching my employees was easy. I can easily find time data when billing my customer.

Cons

I still cannot load an iif file into my quickbooks payroll system. I key it in, which is still faster than before, but really thought my life would be easier with an upload to quickbooks. Also, paid time off tracking is not available for our organization. Our employees can request PTO, but the system is not able to accrue time per pay period. I feel like that is a pretty common way to accrue time off so not having that option is a little surprising.

### " Best value for small teams that need time tracking + communication"

May 15, 2026

5.0

Connecteam replaced 3 apps we were using before. Onboarding was fast and my guys actually use it without complaining. For managing field teams, dispatching jobs, and tracking hours, it's been the most reliable tool we've tried. Support is also quick to respond. 8.5/10.

Pros

The mobile app is dead simple for my techs to use. Time clock with GPS, job scheduling, and in-app chat all in one place. Killed our paper timesheets and 5 different WhatsApp groups. The ability to build custom checklists for installs and attach photos directly to a job is huge for documentation.

Cons

The admin dashboard on desktop can feel a bit clunky when you're setting up complex schedules or pulling custom reports.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Connecteam

We tested When I Work, Deputy, and Homebase. Connecteam won because the free plan covered our 8 techs and the mobile app was the easiest for them to adopt. Other tools either charged per user right away or had a steep learning curve. We needed time tracking, scheduling, and chat in one app without training the whole crew for a week. Connecteam did that day one.

### "Great team solution and peace of mind!"

December 30, 2025

5.0

Smooth testing - to quote - to committing and onboard, we've thoroughly enjoyed switching over! This has been the silent problem killer for time tracking, calendar sync and keeping all our diverse teams together.

Pros

Very easy set-up, without a ton of calls or configurations to get started (we went through 4! hour long calls with a competitor and still didn't even get an onboarding date.) After committing, we had 2 excellent, to the point, onboarding calls, and in 20min we even tested out our user flow through mobile. Our team loves the chat and event pages for easy sync on what's happening around the office. Billing has been flexible according to how many seats x month, which is great. Connect Team customer support is very responsive and easy to get a hold of, thank you!

Cons

Sometimes if you onboard a user as a collaborator, and move them to admin there can be some glitches in finding the right permissions to give them full access - but we were able to easily smooth this out with their customer service team. We had the same kind of issue with a test acct email being included into the full account, but these were all minor details that were promptly resolved.

### "Connecteam is Amazing!"

January 6, 2026

5.0

We have loved using Connecteam, the training videos, the support and how they listen to the needs of the customers and are constantly updating the features to make it better and easier.

Pros

We love that there is a small business plan. The system is easy to learn and set up for business owners adapting it to the needs of their business. Our staff find the mobile app easy to use with the information they need in the field to do their job. The new AI feature is great and the templates are very useful. We like how we can share the live schedule with our clients to see their bookings and when the shift tasks have been done. We have rarely had tech issues. The integrations with other software platforms is amazing, with new ones being added all the time. The platform has excellent visual accessibility. The layout is clean and is simple to navigate, the colour palette is easy on the eye.

Cons

When we switched from the small business plan to the paid version, it was a quite a shock that you have to buy each plan separately (Operations, HR & communications) especially because the small business plan has everything included so it felt like a sneaky trap and with the price charged in US $ it's quite expensive in the AUD conversion. We also pay our staff per job, so we are hoping there is an update soon for this option. It would be great to be able to export the courses and blank forms for a back up option or to send to a client.

### "Great Tool for Small Businesses!"

June 9, 2026

4.0

I haven't used the full range / capabilities of connect teams. I communication platform and knowledge based tools is a great tool for me. On the other hand, creating tasks, forms and process for onboarding new employees is very clunky, confusing and not really user friendly

Pros

I use connect teams as a communication platform for my crew and for onboarding new employees. I own and operate a roofing company. with them having the app on their phone, it's also used as a personal pocket guide. They have access to knowledge based tools that they can reference while they are doing their work on site. I have field techs that also use the knowledge based tools to help them with their job role. I love how their is a directory as well for contacts. I can input relevant contacts in connect teams and my field supervisor will have access to them right away in case they need to communicate with a specific person. I love how it's free for up to a certain number of people.

Cons

I also use connect teams for onboarding new employees. I have forms that they fill out, I have them upload their personal documents (License, Certificates, employee contracts, etc). This saves me time from having to do it myself. I have tasks that I assign them to help on board them. This part of connect teams i don't find user friendly. For me, I would love to have a standard form or a standard task and have them saved in the system that I can use continuously for different employees. With connect teams, I would create a form or task and once that employee completes it, i can't find it without having to re-create it.

### "Excellent Employee Scheduling App with Powerful Features for Medium-Sized Teams"

April 24, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Connecteam has been positive. It offers strong value for money because it combines scheduling, time tracking, communication, and onboarding in one app. Customer support has been helpful when needed, and once you get used to the layout, it becomes much easier to use. It’s especially great for medium-sized companies that need better organization and employee management

Pros

Connecteam has a lot of useful features all in one place. I like the clock in/clock out tools, reminders, time off requests, and location tracking. It also helps with employee onboarding and keeping track of schedules, times, and important dates. It’s a great solution for managing staff efficiently.

Cons

The platform can be a little difficult to navigate at first because there are so many features and options. It takes some time to learn where everything is.

We implemented the product across two locations with approximately 60 employees. This included setting up time tracking, scheduling, permissions, document management, and onboarding workflows for multiple roles and management levels. Rolling it out at this scale required significant administrative setup and coordination to ensure consistency between both locations. While the system is functional, managing multiple locations with a larger team highlighted some navigation and workflow inefficiencies that become more noticeable at scale. The platform works, but when you’re operating across locations with dozens of employees, ease of navigation, reporting clarity, and streamlined admin controls become critical. Improvements in those areas would make it far more efficient for multi-location operations.

Pros

The platform automates many core HR services, including onboarding paperwork, document distribution and acknowledgment tracking, time-off requests, time tracking, and employee record management. This reduces manual administrative work, minimizes paper processes, and creates a centralized digital system for compliance and documentation. Automating these HR functions helps ensure consistency across locations, improves accountability, and reduces the risk of missed forms or incomplete records. It also provides better visibility for managers, allowing them to monitor approvals, track policy acknowledgments, and maintain organized employee files without relying on spreadsheets or manual follow-ups. For growing teams and multi-location operations, this level of automation is essential to maintaining structure, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Cons

The platform is very difficult to navigate between sections. Key features feel siloed, and it’s not intuitive where certain tools or settings live. I often have to click through multiple menus to find basic functions, which slows down workflow and creates unnecessary friction for managers trying to move quickly. There’s a lack of clear hierarchy and logical grouping between modules (time tracking, HR, documents, tasks, etc.), and the back-and-forth between admin view and employee view is not seamless. It would significantly improve usability if navigation were more streamlined, with fewer layers, clearer labeling, and customizable shortcuts for frequently used sections. Overall, the functionality is strong, but the user experience makes simple tasks take longer than they should.

### "Great Experience"

February 5, 2026

5.0

Connecteam has become a core operational tool for our company as we’ve scaled a 24/7, field-based workforce across multiple sites. We use it daily for timekeeping, training, task tracking, communication, and documentation, and it’s helped us bring structure and consistency to processes that used to live across too many systems. What’s really stood out has been the support. Between the AI chat feature that actually helps you learn the platform, the live webinars, the Facebook community, and the Connecteam setup team, we’ve never felt like we were figuring things out on our own. That level of guidance has made a big difference in how confidently and effectively we’ve been able to build and roll out the system. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

Pros

Everything in one place Flexible and customizable Great support and learning resources Works well for field and 24/7 teams

Cons

Takes time to set up properly A lot of features to learn at first Requires ongoing maintenance as you grow Not everything is intuitive without some training

### "Reliable time tracking and useful reporting"

April 8, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Connecteam has been very positive. It is a practical and reliable tool for managing employees, especially when teams work in different locations. The GPS-based clock-in gives extra confidence that attendance is accurate, and the downloadable reports make administration much easier. The platform helps organize daily work, improve visibility, and reduce manual follow-up. Although there is a small learning curve in the beginning, once everything is set up, it becomes a very useful solution for team management.

Pros

What I liked most about Connecteam is the location-based clock-in feature. It gives much better control over attendance and helps verify that employees have actually arrived at the correct work site. This is especially useful for teams working in different locations. I also really like how easy it is to download reports. The reporting is clear, practical, and saves time when checking hours, attendance, and workforce activity. Overall, the app is simple to use, convenient for daily operations, and helpful for managing mobile teams.

Cons

One thing I liked least is that some parts of the system can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when setting up different features and permissions. It takes some time to fully understand all the options.

### "Great Application to Use"

February 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Connecteam has been positive. It’s an easy-to-use, reliable tool for time tracking and team management, especially for small businesses. The mobile-first design makes it convenient for employees, and it helps streamline daily operations, though some advanced features are limited on the free plan.

Pros

Very easy to use – The app is intuitive for both managers and employees, even for non-tech-savvy staff. Great time tracking – Clock-in/clock-out is simple, accurate, and works well on mobile, which is perfect for small teams. Free plan is actually useful – Unlike many tools, the free version offers enough features to run a small business without feeling crippled. All-in-one platform – Time tracking, scheduling, communication, and task management in one place reduces the need for multiple apps. Mobile-first design – Employees can easily use it on their phones without extra hardware. Improves accountability – Clear records and visibility help reduce time disputes and keep everyone aligned. Quick setup – You can get a team up and running fast without a steep learning curve. Good value for small businesses – Saves time on admin work and helps streamline daily operations.

Cons

Limited features on the free plan – Some advanced tools require upgrading to a paid plan. Customization can be restrictive – Certain workflows or reports can’t be tailored as much as some businesses might want.
