Connecteam has been amazing and I love that its user friendly for myself as well as the employees. In addition, the help desk is always very helpful.

Pros

I love the all in one platform! From scheduling, time tracking, communication, task management, and basic HR tools all in one app.

Cons

The app struggles in low‑reception environments, affecting GPS breadcrumbs and form submissions. I wish we had offline capabilities.

The app and on line are great, I have not needed to contact support for anything so far. Keep up the good work

The time tracking and the ability to put the crews shifts in so I am not texting everyone. I can see who is late and who forgot to punch in.

Cons

nothing so far, I am signed up for some webinars to learn more. I am sure there are some features that I am not even using yet.

My overall experience has been quite positive. I like that way it accounts for each staff member's hours automatically without my having to develop loads of spreadsheets.

Pros

the easy way of setting everyone up and the easy way of setting up our particular policies, and I absolutely love geofencing!! It has been an absolute game changer

Sometimes finding where everything sits!! But once found, it still did not make sense as to they location

We are really pleased with the move to Connecteam. When we were trialling the app I was impressed with the presentations and 'How to' guidance videos. I felt supported to get everything set up and rolled out to my team.

Pros

It solves a problem that no other app has been able to solve for me. Working remotely makes it hard to keep track of people. The real time notifications have been fantastic at alerting managers when a team member is late. Staff scheduling is so much easier than the other apps I have used and the time I have to spend maintaining the schedule is greatly reduced. The app is simple to use and customer support has been prompt and has solved any bugs and issues we may have had. I like that you can request new functions and vote on ones suggested by others. It's good value for money and I like how you pay a smaller charge for additional users rather than having to subscribe to the next subscription tier like other platforms.

Cons

Sometimes the AI agent can struggle to understand my questions and will send me round in circles however I can request to speak to a human agent if necessary. I do get irritated when I am asked to rate each and every interaction I have with the AI agent also.

It prevents duplicate booking for shifts which has been helpful. I no longer use a spreadsheet to keep track of hours due to how much of a headache it was. The support team is great also.

Pros

Connecteam is able to track employee availability without freezing which I didn't think would happen. Gusto Payroll exports happens automatically (which I thought wouldn't be possible) and I no longer need to spend an hour entering all their information into a spreadsheet. My employees swap shifts on their phone and the template for scheduling breaks appear to be acceptable enough (as far as I've seen).

Cons

Text notification are extremely annoying as I receive a notification every time one of my employees logs on to the system. Additionally, the "break" option is frustratingly difficult for my employees to utilize a simple 15 minute break; therefore, they have to completely log off before taking a break. There's also some lag when logging onto the system.

Our experience with Connecteam has been mixed. The platform excels in usability, employee adoption, and customer support, which are all important strengths. However, those positives have been overshadowed by missing functionality, costly module-based pricing, and integration limitations that directly impacted our payroll process. Connecteam has strong potential and does many things well, but businesses with complex payroll or QuickBooks integration requirements should carefully evaluate whether the current feature set meets their needs. We are still evaluating whether the platform is the right long-term solution for our organization and will be making that decision in the coming weeks.

Pros

Connecteam has one of the best user interfaces we've used for workforce management. The mobile app is intuitive, employee adoption was relatively easy, and the platform is generally user-friendly for both administrators and employees. Their customer support team has been excellent whenever we've needed assistance, and even their AI chatbot is surprisingly helpful for finding answers quickly. The platform offers a broad range of functionality, and the overall experience feels modern compared to many competing products.

Cons

The biggest disappointment has been the lack of progress on basic features and integrations that seem like they should already exist. Many requested features remain on the roadmap for years without implementation. The pricing structure can also be frustrating, as important functionality is spread across separate paid modules. For example, Time Off management requires additional HR & Skills functionality, even though many companies would reasonably expect that to be included with a time clock system. Our most significant issue was with the QuickBooks integration. We discovered during payroll processing that regular, overtime, and vacation hours were not transferring correctly, resulting in all hours being imported as regular hours. This created substantial manual work, payroll complications, and unexpected costs to correct. For businesses relying on QuickBooks payroll integration, this limitation should be made much clearer upfront. The onboarding process could also be improved. While an introductory training session is provided, 45 minutes is not nearly enough time to properly implement a platform of this size. Additional training is available, but requiring customers to purchase extra implementation support feels like something that should already be included.

It’s very good it has fixed issues we were missing from using Teams. Overall it has worked well and customer service seems to be efficient and listens to what we have to say in respects to improving it.

Pros

The ability to have notifications when employees have not clocked into a shift, this has saved a lot of unhappy people.

Cons

I wish you could do a straight swap for shifts instead of a shift replacement. Currently employee one has to send the shift to employee two and then employee two sends the other one to employee one. It would be better if you could go to your shift then select the employee and select the shift you want to swap with.

Overall experience is positive; easy to have multiple time clocks, easy to create payroll exports and export reports required by clients. Support has been pleasant each time and able to resolve issues. We will be adding NFC use in the near future.

Pros

User access is easy for my team, and admin functionality works well. Support is responsive. Price is competitive and within our limited budget for a robust product.

Cons

Sometimes it is slow to load on a desktop and some report options could be more robust but I’m able to work around it.
