It is very organized and easy to learn when I first started making schedules for staffing. The chat feature is also really nice especially for staff to contact each other.

Pros

I love how easy it use the scheduling system and how it is broken down for easy organization! The color coding looks super nice.

Cons

When you have multiple schedules for different facilities that it would know if you have someone already scheduled for that location so we don't accidently schedule someone for 2 different facilities at once

Really great. Their product is not designed for my use case but it's so customizable that I am able to make it work really well for what I need.

Pros

Everything. It's functionality and customization are amazing for managing employees. They are very quick to respond when you need them and they are constantly improving based on their users needs/

Cons

The app can take a bit to reload or can be slow to respond between parts.

I have had a good experience thus far. The help I can get at a moments notice is great. I have been instructed on reports, etc.

Pros

very helpful in the hospitality department. We use to communicate daily and to keep maintenance and housekeeping on track

Cons

once you expand it gets pricey. We had to upgrade because the staff great to more then 10. we can no longer use their time off tracker due to pricing

I really enjoy Connecteam overall, I love how you can but your own notes along with others note and see who is on shift and not on shift, I like the way we can communicate to others and allowed to have blockers on people who do not need access to it.

Pros

The easiness of the usage of the app, quick to learn and efficient in every aspect.

Cons

The only complaint I have is when I go and and create a schedule for the future If I make a mistake and delete it by accident or accidently delete someone else's things it will not let me undo it to fix theirs.

Able to have a place where all of my employees can connect and house all information that's needed

Cons

I wish you could "build you own" system. There's the different tiers to choose from but we sometimes don't use all the features in each tier. It would be nice to pick and choose different aspects to create your own plan.

overall well, we have had many companies try to get us to use their software instead but we remain steady with connecteam and its simplicity

Pros

being able to schedule our employees and them being able to easily read where they're going on which days and at what times

Cons

having some issues where jobs will be created and assigned to workers and them not being able to clock into the jobs themselves - having to do that for them is frustrating

The many uses within the same platform. We use the ticketing system, scheduling, chat feautre

Cons

Better instructions on how to make changes to settings. It is difficult to find exactly where to go to make simple changes

It is easy to use and despite the few bugs I generally like using the platform. I would like to be able to do everything from the app.

Pros

The platform is easy to use and allows me track my time without issue. It is very user friendly and can easily be implemented to collect time sheets from employees.

Cons

I am unable to change schedule series from the app. I have to use my laptop in order to do that. Also, the app will spin after a single session update and does not always tell me when the update had been made.

It was unsatisfactory. We stopped using it after 10 days and went with a competitor that we pay for.

Pros

The pricing model made sense in terms of upselling and supporting for growing Connecteam's business.

Cons

The unnecessary layers of complexity and lack of basic functionality. There is no hook to google calendar that allows the owner to see the entire schedule. There is no widget. To view a schedule, it requires you to open the app and do about 10 clicks . If you had the google hook, it would be zero clicks..just looking at a widget

We've had a great experience using the tool, having our employees complete their on-boarding, tracking their progress, and get the results we were hoping for.

Pros

We are able to use it for our new employee on-boarding experience, which was one of the main features we were looking for. It has been very simple to use and set up, then send invitations to our employees for them to get started.

Cons

I can't think of anything that would detract me from ConnecTeam. It's provided what we were hoping for.

good and reliable, still some areas for improvement as mentioned with payroll although the continuous updates are great.

Pros

Ease of use and time tracking functions are great. Learning to use this platform, beit for an administrator or user is very quick and simple. User access is easy and setting up staff is no issue at all.

Cons

limited integration with payroll. We often have shifts around the clock and although we can clock in and out, we have to manually adjust for loadings which places a huge load on our book keeper.

I highly recommend this app for any company. We can use it for project management but is kind if basic. Project and task management is nice because you can add an existing location. and it connects with maps. Easy to use for employee.

Pros

This app is so easy to use on both sides, for admins and employees. The Time tracking can be little tricky at the beginning but nothing hard, we are so happy with this app.

Cons

A little bit the Tracking location per employee, because sometimes it doesn't show the exact route that took. It jumps to a different point and sometimes it doesn't make sense.

Good project management tool to use and connect with all my remote team. No issues are presented and messages are always delivered as soon as they are sent. Users can be added at any time and easily. Really good platform.

Pros

It's realy interactive and easy to use and teach how to use. Makes talking to a remote team really quick and easy.

Cons

Nothing to mention in regards to not linking any of the funcitions. It work more than fine to me and my team

We have ran into some issues with time clock and how they have had to change things, so there were no errors on payroll.

Pros

How everything can be in one system. The communication, payroll and recognition.

Cons

Wish we could do more templates. Having staff be able to acknowledge the updates in the current plan we have.

Overall, I would have to say that Connectteam has help our company be on the same page better.

Pros

Connecting my team via the updates and using chat has really helped work more efficiently and smoothly. Started using the timeclock which is not too shabby. The Job Scheduling is decent but complicated.

Cons

The layers of complexity of settings within settings and admin rights to this or that is hard to sort out and set. You have to spend many hours watching videos and trying settings to figure out what works for you. So much trial and error. You can really tell different teams developed different parts. Also wish Connectteam would understand that most employees will not/do not have a desktop (and that includes managers), so when you say "the magic happens at the desktop level" that means little to nothing to most of my team. They use the app only.. myself, and a backup admin, use the desktop mostly. Just remember that when constructing features. Overall it is pricey. And they hide that one final perk to a section behind the next upgrade which means more cost.

A little confusing to get started, but overall great. Did NOT need the team calling me every day for onboarding. Email would have been nice?

Pros

It consolidates some of the ways I was communicating with my team. I like having everything in one spot and we definitely communicate better.

Cons

THE PRICING STRUCTURE. Too many upgrades and price changes. Would love to just see 2-3 offers instead of every little thing being more $$

Irritating and disappointing. I was looking for a one-stop solution for our PTO management, as well as onboarding of new employes. When initially signing up I was told that I was going to be able to create detailed re-usable task lists, something I planned to use to onboard new employees. Turns out what I wanted to be able to do is not actually possible on this platform. I'm temporarily stuck here as I look for something else.

Pros

Has a nice app and a nice interface for desktop use.

Cons

Constantly, daily, trying to do things only to have a pop up tell me how much more money I'd have to pay in order to unlock that functionality. There is far too much locked out... such as the ability to copy something, or the ability to turn off sending something to the entire organization. It is a constant irritation to be trying to make something work only to have these demands for more money thrown in your face over and over again.

I'm very satisfied with Connecteam. I appreciate how responsive and helpful the support team is. Any time I have a question or issue, I receive assistance quickly. I also like how user friendly the platform is. Everything I need for scheduling, time tracking, and communication is in one place, which makes managing my team so much easier.

Pros

I really like how Connecteam is organized. It's convenient having everything I need for payroll and scheduling all in one app. I'm also impressed with how user friendly and intuitive it is.

Cons

I have only a few minor suggestions for improvement with Connecteam. First, it would be helpful to have a custom time frame option in the Job Scheduling view. Second, I’d love to see a customizable view in the Timesheets section—specifically one that allows me to easily see manager notes under everyone's timesheet rather than having to go through each employee individually.

We have tried a number of different time clocking apps and Connecteam definitely takes the cake! Even better it is free for small businesses!

Pros

We primarily use the time clock feature, it is easy for our employees to use and the GPS tracking is really great to keep track of the team throughout the day.

Cons

It’s hard to find major downsides with Connecteam since it meets our needs well. We mainly use the time clock feature, so the other tools go unused. Took a bit to get up and running, but once configured, it runs smoothly and has been reliable for daily time and GPS tracking.

Always get an answer very quickly, and a follow up email, to insure my problem was addressed. This is very important to me to have this kind of follow up.

Pros

customer support and training for admin staff. Plenty of training one on one with our rep. Email after our training to confirm what we learned.

Cons

still fairly new to the program, still having to do a virtual chat when I have a problem or issue. I am usually getting the answer I need this method.

I find the app useful and convenient, it's a great way to amalgamate lots of tasks into one place and tends to be relatively intuitive.

Pros

It's super easy to use and has a load of useful features, there are tasks which we used to use multiple different platforms for which are now all in one place.

Cons

I have to switch between my user and my admin profiles, but I guess that's unavoidable. Sometime there is a bit of a lag on messages arriving when using my phone, but it's not too bad.

Flawless system with brilliant customer service, it gives you the ability to keep track of jobs in the field without even needing to be there. It also gives our clients peace of mind as they can receive automated pdf reports to help them stay informed of what is happening on their sites.

Pros

It provides invaluable information on team activity and gives all of my staff a clear and simple layout when they perform duties in the field.

Cons

In the 5 years me and my team have been using the system it has only crashed twice so no negatives to speak of.
