The few times I have as to contact their support, they have always been very helpful and come to a solution quickly.

Pros

It is very user friendly and easy to learn and find what you need. Onboarding is simple for new employees and communication across the company thru the chat feature is very helpful.

Cons

Everytime a new enhancement comes out, it’s always an upgrade. I feel like for the amount of money you spend to get the highest level, it would only be financially beneficial for larger companies. But the tools available are needed for smaller companies as well.

Overall I am happy, ConnectTeam checked all the boxes I was looking for when I signed up, and recent updates and new features being added has been the icing on the cake.

Pros

This software does everything I need it to, for my business. And I don't even use all the features available. I love the Courses and the Help Desk features the most, and of course the Chat feature keeps my team in the field connected. The Knowledge Base is also very helpful to have important info available in everyone's hands at all times.

Cons

Figuring out the different Teams, Departments, etc is a little tricky. I feel like I could probably use those groupings more if I understood it better. It's just not really straightforward on how to create a Team and then implement it.

It has been helpful in reviewing multiple people's projects and time management. The price for the software is a big plus to our yearly budget constraints.

Pros

very user friendly and it has significantly improved our records. The customer support team are always helpful.

Cons

It can be difficult to adapt policy procedures into the system. We have unique policies for overtime and sick time that can be difficult to track.

Overall, we are happy with this product and all of it's extras; it is easy to use and visually appealing.

Pros

The ease of use when it comes to adding new users and allowing them to pick up shifts; the different schedule view options; the option to have important dates (birthdays, work anniversaries, etc.) added for every user to see

Cons

My only con with this product is that it doesn't connect to Microsoft/Outlook calendar. This would be a huge game changer.

I am still getting used to it but I find the experience better now. I think will be a great tool for our business

Pros

I like that we can duplicate shifts, add tasks, chats with the employees, the group chats that we can create with certain departments

Cons

I find it very hard to fix breaks and adjust time clocks, it is very time consuming. I don't like that I can only view one week at a time, I would like to be able to view for at least a month.

Overall good experience. Connecteam has helped us manage our small team. Time tracking and scheduling are the 2 best features for us.

Pros

Free version is ideal for a small non-profit like ours, with the free version. The all in one layout is some to use with several functions. We can do a lot with it.

Cons

Still need payroll software, but does integrate into QB, reports are hard to pull, and the admin tools are difficult to use

### "Great App for managing a team"

The overall experience has been great. I was on the hunt for an app that would have a time clock function, a way to manage time off, and the ability to communicate with a chat feature. I havent use much of the other features but I plan to eventually.

Pros

I like that this app handles communication, Time off, and Time clock. I was looking for an app that could combine all of those to one app instead of having multiple apps.

Cons

The push notifications don't always come through on my phone. Other team members have voiced this frustration as well.

pretty good. overall smooth, was easy to learn and get used to. Would just like better visibility into the actual time off dates.

Pros

employees find it easy to navigate. Policies are clear. notes are helpful for remembering the purposes behind actions.

Cons

Challenging to see the days an employee will be off since lists all seem to prioritize the date time off was requested as opposed to the actual date of time off. A calendar view or the like would be helpful. Would be fantastic to filter out archived users or something like that. Thy stay in my main view on the time off page.

It’s very simple to use and keeps myself and my crew on task and on track. Easy to learn how to navigate.

Pros

Dry easy to use interface. Easily keep track of jobs and tasks. Keeps all company employees contact info within reach to all users.

Cons

A lot of push notifications if you haven’t turned them off. Also don’t care for the “milestones” in the app. Example “1000 shifts completed”. Now where to turn that off or make it go away altogether.

Connecteam is versatile and very user friendly! It doesn't take a lot of time to get started/implemented and they are constantly making enhancements and improvements based on customer feedback.

Cons

There are a few reports we wish Connecteam had available, but outside of that we don't have anything negative to say.

Overall very easy experience and straight forward to use. I wish we would have found this sooner, the last program we were using was pretty inferior to this.

Pros

It's easy to use and very straight forward. We generally utilize it for scheduling and it makes that aspect very easy.

Cons

Possibly that there are too many features that don't really apply to our business. While we have looked into whether these additional features could be utilized we haven't really found a need for them outseide of job scheduling.

I have tried several time clock programs ranging from very high end to free programs and this is by the far the best and most useful for our company which is in construction.

Pros

The price is great. This program has really thought of everything. Very customizable. It is very easy for our employees to use.

Cons

There are a lot of options, so it is a little tough to configure. I am certain that I do not know of all of the capabilities. I should have done the free orientation.

The thing I like most is the tracking feature.

My workplace has used connecteam since i joined over a year ago and I have heard very little complaints from coworkers. I myself find it easy to use and have only had minimal issues.

Pros

I find connecteam to be user friendly. The layout and user interface is easy to navigate and it is easy to figure out.

Cons

At times, Connecteam can be laggy or slow. There have been a few instances of me being unable to clock in due to connection issues and having to edit my shift later.

We have tried a few different timekeeping and communication resources and this is by far the best overall with all that it offers, the communication aspect, and training opportunities within our company.

Pros

I love that at Connecteam they are always working on further improvements and not becoming stagnant with their system. They're responsive and their customer support has always been helpful.

Cons

Our company has unique time keeping needs I believe. Different pay types for different portions of a shift, and the system I wish could track it a little better automatically through scheduling.

While I was the owner of my business, I utilized Connecteam for time tracking for our small business. The program has an application that was easy to use for our employees.

Pros

Easy customer support Ease of use Geo tracking Employees can use their cell phones for time tracking and make their corrections.

Cons

I wish you had a monthly instead of a yearly charge for payment of the subscription. Besides that, I do not have anything else I dislike about the program.

So far the experience has been great. We have gotten a lot of great feedback from routine as they seem to love it.

Pros

I like the fact that it’s very visually appealing, easy for folks to navigate and it’s also a one stop portal for us. We can provide our team with updates we can share videos and photos we can communicate with each other in group and individual chats, folks can clock in and out for their shift. Check their schedule and even look at their timesheets.

Cons

As of right now, there’s nothing that I can think of. If I had to pick one thing, I would probably say the options for the gift cards when we want to reward our staff.

Great overall experience. It took quite a bit of work to get it all set up but now we have SOPs created for new accounts and new employees. We do all of our onboarding through the platform.

Pros

What is not to love. We have different chats set up for each account. We utilize the scheduling, the forms, the courses.

Cons

As a manager who is in all the chats for the company, constant phone notifications has made me silence the notifications for connect team, so sometimes I miss things.

It's been great for team scheduling, chats and centralizing PTO requests. Just the scheduling alone has been worth it!

Pros

Connecteam has centralized our team scheduling and the automatic updates for everyone's schedules have saved me hours.

Cons

I don't like that approved PTO does not automatically remove employees from the schedule and open up their shift to be claimed.

Easy to use and manage staff rotas. Staff have reported that the interface is easy to use and they like being able to track how many hours they have done.

Pros

Good user access and ability to track and create forms. Staff rotas are easy to upload and you are able to track when staff have arrived at clients houses.

Cons

At times the online portal can be very slow and unstable whilst this is a rear occasion it can impact our teams ability to operate efficiently.

I do like connect team and I plan to keep using it the software as long as my company is able too.

Pros

The ability to have a general scope of everything a company may need but all in one place.

Cons

The thing that I would like connect team to work on is adding the total cost of an employee for a job. For example we can already put rates for each person and we can see the hours they spent on jobs and sub jobs I think it would be easy just to add the formula to show the cost in the job section.

It's the best one we have tried and we have gone through about 4 time clock apps in the last couple years.

Pros

The ease of talking to my entire team in seconds with the group chat feature. I also love the GPS function to check on my drivers.

Cons

I don't like that I can't see everyone on my team (unless they are punched) in on my phone. I also do not like the constant reminders via the messaging app to do things we are not planning on doing (i.e.: the "connect to ADP" test)

It’s free for 10 employees and it’s easy to use for the administration and for the pros. I like that it integrates with a lot of companies.

Cons

They don’t have good packages when it comes time to pay after the 10 people but it good overall and my team likes it.
