My overall experience is when everything goes smoothly and easily. You feel comfortable, not stressed, and things work the way they’re supposed to. You feel happy, confident, and satisfied because your time is respected and the experience leaves you in a good mood afterward.

Pros

You like clocking in on my phone because it’s quick, easy, and always with you. You don’t have to wait in line, find a computer, or remember extra steps—just tap and you’re clocked in. It also helps you stay organized, keeps your time accurate, and makes work feel a little less stressful since you can do it from anywhere you’re allowed to.

Cons

You like least that clocking in on your phone can be annoying or unreliable—sometimes the app glitches, loads slowly, or won’t work if the internet is bad. It can also be frustrating to worry about your battery dying, notifications distracting you, or stressing that it didn’t actually record your time.

Still a learning process for me, I believe I will enjoy it even more as time goes on. I will need to take the time to look over the help video's. Overall a good experience.

Pros

This is the first time that I have been able have the schedule and clocking in on the same format. It's extremely convenient.

Cons

I am having a difficult time with integrating with our Gusto Payroll platform, I believe for direct deposits the dates need to be different in Gusto. Looking for a work around.

Customer service is typically great and for the most part the software is pretty user friendly when considering lots of different users with different skillsets.

Pros

The scheduling software and interfacing with timeclock seems to be the best software available, considering the price for a small business.

Cons

Sometimes the settings aren't as intuitive as I would like for them to be. Their customer service is great about helping you out and getting you where you want to be, but sometimes I would prefer to be more self sufficient.

Overall Connecteam is pretty good. It took a while to get used to but is good now that I'm familiar with it.

Pros

The timeclock features are great for workers clocking on/off. They can also clock into each job which is helpful from a tracking perspective. The forms are easy to create and easy to fill out for each job online.

Cons

I can't seem to link job related forms to the job for ease of finding. The shortcuts only take you to generic forms, not the job specific form. It would be helpful to have everything related to a job, connected to the job. We have multiple forms that we fill out for any given job and I have to go hunting for them.

My overall experience with connect team has been more positive than negative. I really enjoy the ease of being able to use cell phones or computers to be able to log in and out of. I like the ability to track employees and the ease of it integrating with ADP.

Pros

The ability to track employees as they work across several counties.

Cons

It can be a little bit tricky especially when receiving a bunch of edits.

Overall the basic usage for scheduling and chat communication is good. Advanced functions are not as intuitive or easy to access and implement.

Pros

Lots of functionality. Can be used across platforms and on different size devices. Keeps data in one area.

Cons

Is not always intuitive. Not all functions are available on each platform. Though data is in one application it isn't always easy to retrieve or share.

The clock-in and out feature is glitchy and does not always recognize my entries, this happens frequently.

Pros

I just love how my boss knows my whereabouts at all times. I am an office employee and not in the field, so this feature is not very applicable

Cons

The inability to amend my own timecards after entry. So many times it doesn't clock me in or out properly and I am forced to send messages to my admin to make corrections.

So far it is great. We have all team members set up by individuals as well as groups which makes it easy to communicate. Being able to set and assign tasks and monitor them one place is also a wonderful feature.

Pros

So many features, I love being able to set tasks and also to upload paperwork so it is organized in one place

Cons

Sometimes takes me some time to figure out certain fields but I am typically able to do it

Easy to connect with my team and keep up with all of the training and documentation.

Pros

There are so many ways to use it, and it helps me stay connected with my team. (HA! You picked the perfect name!) I don't have to make sure they've read an email or a message.

Cons

It was pretty difficult to learn when I first started. It wasn't streamlined on one page. I still have to use the website on the computer to see which things I am missing.

We’ve had a great experience, I also like the fact the service team are so quick to help and the ability to suggest and vote on new features

Pros

We like the flexibility of the features, they truly are very customisable. We also love that it continues to get new features and regular updates.

Cons

This is a hard one, when we first had it there were a few rules around the way it worked that didn’t quite fit our organisation.

Makes working with people in different locations far away much easier and organized. Makes everyone joining the team feel like your company is super organized.

Pros

It’s easy to figure out without asking for instruction. The names and photos and the feed is like a Facebook feed

Cons

Nothing is bad . The app does send out notifications for other people outside of team but it’s not really bothersome .

It's pretty good for tracking the total hours of work completed in order to work payroll effectively. Also has resource to allow for employee training.

Pros

Connecteam is pretty reliable for time tracking and employee management such that you get to ensure that employees resume work on time. It also helps with assigning task to effectively.

Cons

Check-in controls should not be limited to just admin alone. All users should have the option to check in on whichever device they like while the location gets captured.

Pros

I like the chat feature the most. That is what we mainly use Connecteam for. While we do use the other features, like time clock, time off, job scheduling and updates -- chat is our most used and liked feature.

Cons

I think it is still a bit of a work in progress. There are many redeeming features, but also a lot that still needs work. There are often bugs or delays that interrupt workflow, but this is something they always seem to be improving.

Absolutely wonderful and easy to use and lots of helpful tips and tricks for getting the most out of the app.

Pros

The interactivity the app allows. The interconnectedness between our various teams and what we can accomplish with the app while in remote locations.

Cons

In low signal areas it takes longer to load than most apps and may take a few minutes to update.

Overall, we really appreciate Connecteam as our intranet tool. It's well designed, user-friendly and the mobile app is top.

Pros

Connecteam is very flexible when it comes to segment our employee list. Since we have offices in 2 different countries, the ability to show/hide documents to specific employees is really appreciated.

Cons

The plan we subscribed to does not allow us to get statistics on our different Channels. Therefore, we cannot really judge if our publications are viewed, by whom, how many times, etc.

they are adding more features. I like that my staff can get real updates when I publish their schedules, and they can request time off right from the app.

I wish all the administrator settings were in one location as opposed to on each section that they could have access to.

great ! Use this tool all the time for site and its very helpful. Accounts can invoice from these reports and its good you can send them the information straight away.

Pros

Really good for our site team as it produces multiple sheets all from the App on the mobile. Very adaptable and can produce further sheets for the progression of the company. Great tool for the business

Cons

Nothing really. Sometimes the location doesn't connect but that's due to the network. Occasionally when this happens some of the information which has been imputed on the sheets is lost or buffers ,so you have to close it down and when you restart some information is lost.

It has been good. Setup was a breeze. Most things are intuitive and easy to use - all our staff find it easy to use as well.

Pros

It is simple for our staff to use and makes doing payroll each fortnight so much faster. Everything staff needs is in one place - they just need a phone!

Cons

Not being able to have two sections - chat and schedule open at the same time in different windows.

Great tool to use. So many different pieces we are yet to unpack and start using! It has the potential to be a one stop shop for many small businesses. Great customer support.

Pros

Clear and easy to use website. Easy to follow tutorials. Ability to create settings that suit your business.

Chat option was a little clunky at first but better now. No other real dislikes. So far so good for us.

pretty good, the web page layout is a bit clunky for me, probably because has to many features i don't need

Pros

does what i need it to. keeps up with who is clocked in, and generally where they are. Makes paying guys a lot easier

Cons

i think the website and app are a bit "clunky" to use , especially for the not so computer inclined types. map zooming / layout can get laborious when swapping between guys
