Almost two years with Connecteam, it's been good overall, just a few (simple) additions (without buying up) would make it superb

Pros

Ease of use for employees in app, geofencing, use of jobs, ability for employees to correct their own time, time off module

Cons

having to "buy up" on most modules to get functionality needed, not being able to add an unpaid lunch break and have Connecteam recalculate the hours automatically, would live to have a terminated date

My overall experience with Connectstream has been good throughout. It’s been reliable and easy to use, and I’ve enjoyed continuing to use it as part of my daily workflow.

Pros

What I liked most about Connectstream was how streamlined and user-friendly it was, especially the built-in time tracking. Having everything in one place made it easy to stay organized, accurately track hours, and manage tasks more efficiently without needing separate tools.

Cons

While Connectstream was easy to use overall, the user access controls were somewhat limited, which reduced flexibility for team collaboration and role management

I would like to be able to save a monthly calendar that shows all the dates, employees for each day of the month at one time. And I would like to be able to select a specific day on the app well into the future and not have to scroll through each week on the app. Very frustrating and time consuming!

Pros

Request for time off forms, ease of communication with employees. Having access on my mobile device to verify the schedule anywhere at anytime.

Cons

Not being able to view a month at a time on the app to verify the amount of employees scheduled each day, week ,month.

Makes my life easier. Makes my job pretty much paperless now. Spend more time doing my job than sorting paperwork.

Pros

Easy to build a set up that fits for you. Turned all my paperwork digitally. Even doing surveys to basic forms. Works for most things.

Cons

Sometimes slow on my laptop, however runs a dream on my phone. Possibly computer issue though, or maybe internet

ConnectTeam has been a wonderful addition to our team and has made payroll SO much easier! We've been using it well over a year now, and tracking PTO, timesheets, and clocking in has never been easier. We used to hassle with timesheets, including on paper. Connect Team has made our lives so much easier!

No cons! We love it. Everything works smoothly.

Pros

That my employees can use their personal cellphones and I don't have to provide a company cell phone.

Cons

Sometimes the glitching when my employees are clocking in and out it doesn't record the hours correctly

We really enjoy it as a small business. Everything that we need is in this app and its a great way to communicate with everyone and know that everyone is reading what we post. I am really happy that we found this gem!

Pros

The ease of use for everyone. Not only admin but for other users as well. As an admin, I am able to switch to user view and see what others see, which is nice we we have features that we don't need everyone to see.

Cons

I wish we didn't have to pay extra to use additional features. Like the option to not allow people to go into the app without confirming it.

Cons

Definitely has a learning curve for setting up. Takes a little bit of guidance to get it fully set up.

It's really good- I really like the product and the software and I'd recommend anyone to use it. Keeps us organised and the features are amazing.

Pros

The fact this app organises my small business and it doesn't cost anything! Really love the product and find it works really well for my business.

Cons

Nothing - I think it's great. The interface and apps are great - really is a fantastic product. Only slight downside is the fact you have to wait to unlock some features (staff rewards etc)

Centralized people management plus the feel of a social media news feed, finding out what is happening in the company by scrolling through the announcements, EPIC!

Cons

Job Scheduler could be a bit more user friendly regarding selecting a staff members shifts and assigning all of them.

It has been a blessing discovering Connecteam. We looked at other Apps but Connecteam ticked all the boxes. It helps us run our business smoothly all in one place.

Pros

We use Connecteam for our scheduling. We are a cleaning company and CT works really well to keep on top of bookings, invoicing and letting our Team members know when they are working. It has saved us hours of work as we use to do it all manually with spreadsheets!

Cons

I can't fault it in any way. It is so easy to use and the Customer Service is excellent.

Connecteam is very user-friendly and easy to implement. The time tracking and scheduling features are intuitive, making it simple for employees to clock in and for managers to review timesheets.

Cons

The reporting features could be more customizable, especially for payroll and job costing purposes. It would be helpful to have more flexibility in exporting detailed reports

My overall experience with connect teams has been very positive. Compared to similar software and apps it has been an absolute joy to use.

Pros

The design and layout The training videos are very helpful also. It is easy to use and helps keep all my HR records in one convenient place.

Cons

So far I haven’t come across anything I don’t like about Connect Teams. It has been so helpful in keeping all my HR task in just One place.

We needed a tool to track per job. Even though it may have had its issues that were user cause, it worked great for this type of industry.

Pros

Showed me real time where my workers were located and the time spent at each job. As a restoration company it was important to know time spent at each job to cost out the labor against the jobs appropriately.

Cons

The number of times the employee could forget to not clock in and out and managing the notes for each time we needed to correct.

Overall our business has been very happy with Connectteam - easy to use and access from multiple devices.

Pros

Very easy to use, on both desktop and mobile devices. Easy to schedule multiple staff, and to have them allocated to different jobs etc depending on your preferences. Also very useful for staff to note availability.

Cons

A reminder for staff to log-out of their shift once their scheduled shift had been concluded would be useful - instead staff just get a notification that they are "auto-logged out" after 12 or 13 hours.

Easy to use but on the little bits that I get stuck, their customer support is amazing, resolving issues quickly and using easy language

Pros

Ease of use Customer support is EXCELLENT Starter package is perfect for a new business and then the system grows with you

Cons

Some parts I feel should be in normal plan rather than enterprise such as annual leave and org chart export Setting for viewing often reverts back to original

It’s good but could be better. It’s helping me a lot to organize my work and the employees tasks, schedule, time off amongst others.

Pros

User-friendly application, with available options to choose such as templates of schedules and forms.

Cons

The subscription is pricey that I had to pay for each category if I want to maximize the use of it. It would have been nice if price is worth for accessing all options.

We love the communication part of Connecteam. I would rate the customer service as less than desirable.

Pros

We love being able to communicate with our Nurses in the field. The chat and update features are magnificent.

Cons

Getting a live person for help is Virtually impossible. We would love more education about the other features we have and education on other features we might be willing to add on.

Great - I feel like updates are constant, they care about their product, and it definitely fits our purpose. We evaluated multiple solutions and were previously using Timesheets from Quickbooks, and this is levels above in functionality. Most importantly, customer service has been good for the very few times we've had to engage.

Pros

Great with responses, might not be straight away (depending on time zones), but they do get back fast, regardless. Also feature suggestion forum/board is nice.

Cons

Would like it to be integrated with Gusto for contractors but this isn't a Connecteam issue, it's Gusto.

Reason for choosing Connecteam

Overall functionality and eas-of-use was much better with Connecteam. We also aren't in hospitality, and I feel like other platforms were geared towards that or larger shift-based roles. There were other platforms I looked into, but honestly can't remember all of them. Connecteam just fit perfectly for our requirements.

Connecteam has been a valuable tool for easily adding employees to the team. New employees are able to quickly and easily underatand and use the app. It makes managing mutliple locations and departments much more manageable.

Pros

Connecteam provides an easy to use solution with a lot of options for connecting employees and tracking time.

Cons

When reviewing time for a specific period, it is easy to lose the defined time period. This is not a big problem, it just requires going back to define the period being reviewed and adds steps additional time to complete the task.

Pros

I like the simple layout. It’s easy to navigate with out too many buttons or pages. The layout is organized and simple.

Cons

In my experience, I feel the ‘chat’ section is not used very much and I wish it wasn’t on the bottoms of the pages.

Easy as pie and very reliable. We use it on a daily basis and communicate with many of our employees of various different ages and backgrounds. Everyone finds it very easy to use and very reliable. I highly recommend it for all businesses.

Pros

The ease of use. I am not very "computer-savy" but Connecteam was very easy to naviagate. The minute I logged on for the first time, I was able to learn it quickly and sufficiently.

Cons

There is not much I don't like about Connecteam. It's been proven to be very beneficial to our business.
