Connecteam has changed the way we schedule our employees. We use the app on a daily basis to send out messages, schedule shifts, and determine staffing needs. It also helps us to track hours and availability.

Pros

Connecteam is easy for my employees to use, and communicate their availability for shifts. It makes scheduling a breeze, even with three different locations. Employees can self-facilitate shift swaps.

Cons

It can be difficult to toggle back and forth between "employee" view and "job" view to see availabilities.

A great experience with customer support and with forms for our employees. Support has gone above and beyond in helping us create training forms and any help with tracking of time and locations.

Pros

Best app for employees to be able to submit / create forms. To keep track of time and travel. Use to submit expenses and training. Customer support is top notch in helping all employees and staff understand how to create and any issues that arrive. User's can easily access from all areas. The adjustment from our time logging night workers with roll over shifts being quickly generated for us instead of having to go in and change has been a great help. The app and online program are very easy to use and understand. Connecteam has been a great value to our company.

Cons

We would like to be able to include all training on the program and create our own training through connecteam eventually and it is not capable of doing it yet.

The system is easy to use and has an in depth knowledge base so that most questions can be answered immediately. When I have reached out to support, my issues have been resolved in a timely manner.

Pros

Connecteam provides an all-in-one platform for scheduling, timesheets, knowledge sharing, courses, communication, and employee notes. Before using it, we relied on multiple systems for these tasks, which was quite cumbersome.

Cons

When an employee requests time off, there isn't a way to block them if other employees are already off or if they are already scheduled.

Pros

Connecteam has features necessary for quick communication among staff, which is important for multi-location companies. The time clock features are great!

Cons

The admin portion of connecteam can be a little tricky, especially the portion between the shift scheduler and time clock.

Overall, the positive user experiences far outweigh the bad. The ongoing tech support makes the downsides easy enough to get through that they're barely worth mentioning.

Pros

Connecteam is great for keeping everything in one place. This includes work chats, employee job scheduling, operational manuals, employee documents, and contact information. It's an easy to navigate app thats intuitive in design and consistently improving.

Cons

Occasionally voice messgaes and chat notifications don't work for a short period, typically when updates are being made to the app. This has never lasted more than a day or two.

Overall the team has been very positive aout their experience working with the platform. We haven't had any issues or resistance. Additionally one of our inspectors was praising the ease of use just the other day.

Pros

I love that we were able to consolidate multiple apps that we were using for operations into one. It also saved us 50% apps we were using previously. These apps include time tracking, communication, user access and managment, supply management, inspections, time logging, scheduling, etc.

Cons

Some of the basic functionality can glitch a little bit, but they have been good about fixing issues.

Top notch company providing an excellent solution for our business that operates "on the road" with staff from multiple countries.

Pros

Connecteam is a GAME CHANGER for our company in terms of remote working and communication with staff. The ability to translate into multiple languages is key to my entire workforce being able to understand what is going on every day. Uploaded policies and training videos can be pushed out to staff easily with recordkeeping for HR streamlined in one location. I love this App!

Cons

Connecteam is an expensive App, especially when you utilize all of the features. Additionally, I am a seasonal employer so the annual rate benefits are not applicable to me.

Overall, it's okay. I don't feel like the sales reps are very transparent with what modules are covered in each hub and informing customers they have to subscribe to the expert level in each hub to get the same services as the free plan and then also counting inactive users in that 10. If you add it all up; $99 x 3 Hubs = $297 X 12 months = $3564 is what it would cost per year once you get to 11 users. Which is outrageous for a small business.

Pros

We like the wide range of modules offered. We use the entire suite offered in each Hub. The team chat is our most used module.

Cons

I'm a small business of less than 10 employees but people leave, and new people enter that's just normal business. I don't like Connecteam limits the free version to 10 users (old + new) and the paid version with all the same features (we use everything offered) is out of the price range of a small business.

Overall very happy, customer service is always quick to respond and very helpful with any issues being experienced. They offer lots of videos or 1 on 1 time to discuss how the app works, how to get the most out of the app and how to tailor it to fit your company. It has been very helpful for our company as we started small and began to build.

Pros

Very easy to use and accessible from multiple devices which allows for seamless payroll processing. Employees can quickly request edits if any mistakes are made when clocking in or out, easy for admin to approve or reject these changes, app is available in multiple languages which is extremely helpful for our company. Can put in automatic lunch breaks which is a large asset to prevent employees from having to remember to clock in and out multiple times through the day.

Cons

Forces phone numbers to be linked to accounts, which causes some extra steps with offshore labour who don't have phones or having to track down additional information. Would be easier if we could bypass this requirement. Can start to get pricey if you have a large number of employees using the system

I value connect team for so many reasons, but the biggest one would have to be quick tasks with the sub task feature and separately the scheduled updates. I love being able to keep track of my tasks all in one application. Additionally, it’s so useful in my free time to be able to compose a great message and set it to be sent out a strategic time that is appropriate for the update or event and makes sense for the team.

Pros

What I like most about Connecteam is how comprehensive AND user-friendly it is. From an admin standpoint, it really streamlines time tracking and time & expense management, which saves a huge amount of manual effort. The project management tools and user access controls make it easy to keep different teams organized and ensure the right people have the right permissions. The videos in each tab, for example, time clock, quick tasks, activities, etc. Are so incredibly helpful and do a great job of not over complicating the ability of the app, while still displaying a comprehensive demonstration of the usage capabilities. The user in your face is phenomenal and I love that there’s options for Geo tracking, whether that be something you choose to use or decide not to, depending on a company’s needs. The customer support team or FAQ page has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had questions, and the ease of use makes it simple for both admins and employees to adopt!

Cons

The biggest challenge has been occasional bugs and issues, particularly with syncing across devices or when exporting time-tracking reports. While these aren’t dealbreakers, they can slow down workflows if they happen during a busy period. There’s also a bit of a learning curve for some of the more advanced project management features, which could be made more intuitive. However, I’ve noticed the intent to implement any bug or recommendation provided from users and communicate effectively and efficiently to its users. I believe it you continue to do this, the app and user integration and appreciation can only grow.

Connecteam has allowed me to manage a large team of 36 people and track that their fieldwork is where they are supposed to be, especially when they use bathroom breaks to nearby faculties and to see they clocked in at our staging area. It is PERFECT for field work, however, I do wish there was a "select" system for creating shifts instead of typing their name in one by one. If there IS a select system, then it is beyond me, since a larger company I am also a part of uses people in different groups, but they all come up together and can be very convoluted with names easily.

Pros

Connecteam streamlines ease of use and accountability for any number of teams. Time tracking is a huge benefit with the live gps tool.

Cons

There are a few issues with connecteams like the latency to live GPS and how it can bog down a computer easily (especially on Chrome browser), and sometimes it fails to "clock in" despite seeing them do it with my own eyes. It happens to like 2 people a week with a team of 30, so it is few and far between, but a bit of a nuisance, however very easy to fix!

The onboarding to new customer with CT was a bit of a challenge given o ur permission setting at the beginning but have been working with it for over a year now and enjoying many of the features and that they keep building onto it. I’ve found some back end issues and bugs within their usability and reported them and they seem to take it seriously, although one issue has been over a week now for diagnosis.

Pros

I like the scheduling 365 day calendar system and being able to creat repeating schedules with pertinent information for our customers. Quick tasks are nice and document and user custom fields are helpful to make it work for your own business.

Cons

I have found that the lack of allowing a back end database to have access unless you become enterprise and able to use other products to connect except Zappier which is a strange way to connect to any other site.

I've been using the software for 4+ years for my company and prior to that I set up the system for 2 other security companies. It's extremely useful and a game changer in organization. Brings your company to the 21st century.

Pros

I own and operate a security company and this software is extremely customizable, so if you can think it you can make it. An example would be a training module on how to handle an aggressive individual I can add videos, text, pictures, and put a quiz at the end for the employee to pass to make sure they know how to handle the situation. Then I can turn around and make a training module on how to do CPR. That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this software, complete game changer at a great price. It's also extremely user friendly on the admin side and the user side. It's time clock feature allows for GPS tracking.

Cons

They are constantly updating things so I haven't found something that would be a con for me yet. It's all pro's.

Overall it's a great tool to use. It's multi features has saved us from having to use multiple platforms for various things; office chat, scheduling, posting events, etc.

Pros

Multi features, user friendly and I like that I can post my employees schedule. You can easily make groups for users therefore you can send reminders/messages to specific users without having to bother all then on the flip side, you can announce and send message company when needed.

Cons

No desktop app. So, you have to have a web browser open to use the program and there is no "popup" notification when you receive a message. We use it in a dental office on desktop computers to communicate back and forth and without a "popup" notification, we miss messages easily.

We have been using Connecteam for around 4 years now, and it was a very useful tool from the beginning. Originally we wanted a way to digitise our checklists and forms that we use daily to allow a more paper free environment. Since then we have found that is it much better than paper forms, due to being able to find exactly what you need, and being able to easily explore different patterns easily through the search, that would have manually taken much longer. Since then, due to the updates made by Connecteam, we have now integrated our HR processes, rotas and time sheets, internal messaging and much more. It is a great all round business tool.

Pros

It is relatively easy to set up and use. The setup process was made much easier by the expert customer support, which is quick and personal. We still have no issues today that cannot be solved by a quick message, and and often fast reply.

Cons

As with all software, it does have limitations to certain specific use types for our business. It also has other functions that we would use, but are part of a larger payment plan that we wouldn't use enough of to justify the extra payments at this time.

Overall we've been very happy with Connecteam and I think our staff appreciates that we're trying to to reach them where they are (on their phones) via the app and keep them well informed.

Pros

Staff seem to be able to stay connected with the important things we want them to know much more easily than when we were using When I Work. Connecteam has been easy to use and the staff are engaging with us more than they did in the past.

Cons

I wish more features were available without having to upgrade our plan. For example, I would like to be able to have more locations added to the timeclock without having to upgrade our plan to do that. We have a lot of job locations and even marketing events like school and community events during the year where our staff cannot clock in when working. So we just add their hours manually after the shift.

So far so good, it was generally a pretty seamless transition from Workplace, the previous app our company was using for this purpose.

Pros

Overall I would say the software is very easy to use and navigate, I feel like you get good value for the money, and we enjoy our employees being able to clock in/out on the software. We enjoy being able to post documents and items for review and creating folders where things can always be referenced. The organization of critically important team items is a great tool.

Cons

I would say that the user access was/ is a little bit confusing, as we wanted all team members to be able to make posts in groups that apply to them, and it seems the only way we were able to achieve that was to give everyone "admin" status. Which now gives them 2 interfaces to work through. So that part is a little bit confusing and I feel like could be designed better so that all users have the ability to post within the groups they belong to.

Pros

Feedback from our staff was to have everything in one place so that is why we transitioned to Connecteam. Their customer support has been good as far as we have used it. It is easy for our admin to use and has several options for us to communicate with staff which we love. I feel overall, it is easy for the rest of the staff to use as well and Connecteam has great training videos on all of their products. I personally have not had any issues with using the platform or logging in. The Quick Tasks option has been great in assigning tasks to individuals and accountability.

Cons

Connecteam can get pricey but it provides 3 tiers in each category (Timetracking, Communication, Operations...I think) so you can stay within your own budget. We have only encountered 2 issues with Connecteam. One was while they were working on the system. Another was with our dashboard and it was resolved quickly. Some of our staff has reported issues with time tracking but I have never had this problem so I was thinking it was more of a phone service/reception problem per employee rather than with Connecteam.

Customer Support is fantastic; Easy to use and lots of videos on how to do things. Staff find it easy to use also

Being Australian but charged in USD. Sometimes can be buggy, but generally sorted out quickly which is great.

100% so far. I have been able to use almost the all the options to its fullest. If you are lost, pick up a chat and get your answer!

Pros

We did get a really good deal for paying up front for the year. Your customer support is fast and spot on. Always get the answer I need. The ease is one of the simplest apps I have ever used. Really have had no issues with the program failing or causing a problem. I love the timeclock. Also, the breadcrumbs that show my guards where they are moving. Access is quick to get in and see scheduling and others. The project management is a piece of cake. Can't get any simpler. The new additions to the schedule and timeclock with expense tracking are great. Shows scheduled and projected expenses.

Cons

I have no cons or complaints. I have been able to use all the options. Timeclock is the most used in my business along with scheduling next.

We love using the program and it has more than just timecard tracking. We love the customizable forms so we can easily track project details for better project management.

Pros

The program is easy to use for all age groups. We have quite a few employees that aren't the most tech savvy and they can use it with ease.

Cons

If I could have one wish for Connecteam it would be to have Stat Holidays available. When editing timecards it is a struggle when you have to manually enter every time off request for the stat holiday for the payroll to work out properly.

Overall experience is very good from my side. The platform is easy to use and helps manage scheduling, time tracking, tracks and employee communication in one place. It offers good value for money, especially for growing teams. Customer support is also very responsive. This software makes user access management simple by allowing admins to control permissions based on employee roles and responsibilities. The time and expense tracking features are also very useful for tracking work hours, breaks, overtime and reimbursements in one place.

Pros

It is very easy to manage employees, schedules, tasks and communication from one app. The interface is simple and easy to use, even for non technical employees. Customer support is responsive and the mobile app makes managing remote teams much more convenient and efficient.

Cons

One thing I disliked most about Connecteam is that some advance features and customizations are limited unless we have to upgrade to higher pricing plans. The app also experience occational bugs and issues espically after the updates.

Overall I like Connecteam and think it is a great asset to have for myself and staff members. I think once some more updates come along and additional features progress it will be great.

Pros

I like the ability to have more options for staff versus only being communication. The courses, knowledge base, documents, scheduling ease, is all very nice and a great asset to have access to.

Cons

The inability of some features on the computer but are available for the mobile app. As an admin and user, I need to be able to do everything on the computer and some features are currently limited to only the app.
