Connecteam has been a great asset to our company to easily schedule and track client services and track employee hours. It has saved us hours of administrative tasks. It had made payroll simple as we can easily find employee hours.

Pros

Easy to use. Streamlines payroll by easily tracking every employee's hours. Each person logs in seamlessly and inputs their information.

Cons

It takes a few minutes to understand the setup. Not everything is where you think it might be. Once you figure out where each command/ component is located, it's easy to use.

Overall, I am extremely happy and satisfied with Connecteam. It has been a great tool for keeping everything organized and running smoothly.

Pros

Connecteam is very easy to use and does an excellent job tracking all staff. My staff finds it seriously organized, smart, and efficient, which makes daily management much smoother.

Cons

The login hours feature can be problematic at times. If a staff member forgets to sign out, the hours can get mixed up and show extremely high numbers (for example, indicating that someone worked 20–30 hours over a weekend). This requires manual correction and can be confusing.

I’d recommend it to any business looking for a simple, all-in-one workforce management solution.

Pros

Connecteam makes workforce management incredibly simple. The mobile app is intuitive, so my team adopted it quickly without much training. Time-tracking and scheduling are especially stron. Big benefit is employees can clock in with one click (not available in other programs we've used), and I can instantly see who’s working, where, and on what. I also appreciate the in-app communication tools, which help centralize updates instead of relying on texts and calls. The customer support team is responsive and genuinely helpful, which is a big plus.

Cons

Some of the more advanced customization options take a bit of exploring, and a few features feel slightly hidden within menus. Reporting is solid overall, but I’d love to see even more flexible export options. None of these are deal-breakers, but there is a slight learning curve for administrators.

Having everything in one place—from scheduling to updates—has saved us time and reduced confusion. Even though there was a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, it was well worth it. The platform continues to improve how we stay organized and connected, and it has truly become a valuable tool for our business.

Pros

We were looking for an all-in-one solution, and that’s exactly what we found with Connecteam. It offers a wide range of tools that help us manage scheduling, communication, and daily operations all in one place, which has been extremely helpful for our team. While we’re still learning all of its features and exploring everything it can do, the platform has already made a positive impact on how we stay organized. It’s user-friendly overall, and even with the learning curve, it continues to meet our needs and gets the job done efficiently.

Cons

While this has been very helpful overall, there is definitely a learning curve when first getting started. It can feel a bit overwhelming navigating all of the features and settings, especially when trying to customize everything to fit your specific needs. Some tools take time to fully understand and implement correctly. Additionally, certain features could be a bit more intuitive, as it sometimes takes extra steps to find what you’re looking for. However, once you get familiar with the platform, it becomes much easier to use and manage.

Overall im very impressed with the system and could not be without it. It makes our day to day handovers efficient and is easy to plan ahead.

Pros

CT is very simple to use, it gave us the opportunity to test the platform for free whilst our business was growing, and if i have any questions on how to personalise the system for our needs, the customer service team are always there to help and resolve and questions i may have. It can be used by the entire team, colour coded, (visibly easy to locate the jobs you are looking for) and your daily schedule is time managed to track your busy day.

Cons

Once our trial had finished, the schedule lost the Name and Contact mobile details without warning. (You have to pay extra for these). I would have liked a warning - gave me a bit of a panic!

Overall experience has been great! Their staff have been well versed in the product they sell and the quick tasks has been great for the staff. They've appreciated the time clocking, vacation time management and easy of checking a evolving schedule.

Pros

While definitely an up front learning curve, & quite a bit of import time, the most liked feature is a central location for everyone to find all the information they need in one place. We manage alot of vehicles and projects and this system seems well versed and flexible.

Cons

I haven't had and bugs or issues yet, Only notable feature is truck scheduling, but this could be because our business is so diverse.

I'd recommend connectteam to any organization - big or small. It has a wide range of helpful tools and an all star customer service team. My only regret is not finding this sooner.

Pros

The small business plan makes it in reach for little organizations like mine to be successful. Our favorite thing about Connectteam is how many features there are! We used to use 5 or 6 different tools to accomplish what we're able to accomplish on Connectteam.

Cons

I have yet to find something I strongly dislike. We have certainly bumped into a few times where we wished we could tweak a feature to fit our organization a little more specifically, but the customer service team was able to help us find work arounds easily.

Connectteam brings together so many essential features into one platform—from scheduling and task management to time logging and employee engagement. It’s saved us time, reduced miscommunication, and made our day-to-day far more efficient.

Pros

I liked how intuitive connectteam can be. I helped make managing our tasks and teams members much easier. Saved us a lot of time once we were up and running. It kept our teams connected via the Instant Messaging and Chat feature; which was very helpful. The support team is also super helpful whenever any issues arise.

Cons

The initial setup took a bit of trial and error, especially when customizing features to suit our workflows. At first, getting everything configured to match the way we work and the internal processes we were used to was a bit tricky. But, overall, we were able to get our heads around it in the end.

Our overall experience has been wonderful and it has cut down on the length of time it takes to process payrolls now that our teams are using Connecteam.

Pros

Such an easy app to use for admin as well as staff. Highly recommend for schedules and payroll. from beginning to end, connecteam is completely user friendly.

Cons

The only con I would have to say is the programs inability to transfer over reg pay hours separate from overtime pay hours into Quickbooks Online.

Overall, it seems like Connecteam wasn't made for office environments. It is geared toward constructions workers and restaurant staff who have assigned "shifts" and can access the portal on their phones outside of hours. It was a complicated platform to use and not worth our time or money.

Pros

I liked the rewards system and the forms tabs the most. It was nice to be able to reward our employees for doing a good job and it was easy for them to exchange their tokens for gift cards. The forms tab was nice for employees to have everything in one place, however it was annoying for the owners to get responses to every form.

Cons

We didn't like how difficult it was to sync timesheets to QuickBooks. It was also difficult to have managers approve time off requests. Time off requests and approving timesheets for every employee were visible to every manager, when we only wanted managers to see their direct employees only. We didn't like how the job scheduler didn't have holidays in it. We didn't like how every time we created a new course, form, or put something in knowledge base that it would show you the mobile version instead of desktop for a preview. We are an office that uses desktop computers and doesn't encourage employees to have to use their cell phones.

It has been a change and I am mixed. Some of the bugs with the old app are fixed but there are issues with Connecteam. I am thinking this was a slide across instead of a step up and it is more expensive. But some of that expense is worth it for the tracking (when I need it).

Pros

It has the ability to work with other apps. I like the saved templates, I can write up common days and just plug them in this makes it easier to use. I also like the tracking although it is able to be messed with. I do think that it helps with employee management in that I think making our complicated schedule is much easier and less time consuming. Time logging has been reported back to me from the employees that they like it much better. They find it easier to use than the other program.

Cons

The flow of the app. The lobbies it has to get into the app. I have a lot of clicking. Not sure if this is good or bad but the employees don't clock into their schedule the just clock in. Those two parts don't see each other. It is a pain to see who is clocked in while working on a schedule. I have to clock out of schedule to see who is clocked in. Although I found I can see that on chat without going out of schedule into time clock. My Payroll administer does not like the reports, finds them difficult to work. Customer Support has been good and the videos are informative however due to our uniqueness it is still hard to work quirks out.

Overall it's a great app. Just like most things, there is always room or improvement. But overall it's very solid.

Pros

I like how easy it is to connect with my teammates on projects and events. I would like to be able to create chats a little easier. You have to make a group first, and it just bogs down my progress when trying to make quick updates to specific people.

Cons

I wish the mobile version allowed me to see the same options as the website. I know this can be challenging to program. But it would make managing the team a-lot easier. Things like adding new members and seeing their progress on projects is only viewable on the website version.

So far our experience with Connecteam has been simple, a great value for the money, and so helpful. We thought we only needed it for PTO and communication but have found many more uses within the product. We have been able to remove other subscriptions which is always a win.

Pros

The training videos are top tier, and you get a discount on your bill for learning how to use the product you purchased! The customer support has always been top tier, both AI and human interactions. The onboarding was very simple for everyone. It really helps with employee management as far as communications, updates and time tracking for PTO. It has helped free up some of my time by having all the information available to the team members instead of them having to ask me for copies of paystubs or PTO balances.

Cons

I have not been able to find anything I don't like... Anything I thought we couldn't do in connect team I have been told we could! We have not came across any bugs and issues in the 6 months of using it so far.

We have been using Connecteam for over a year now and we love it. The app makes it easy for employees to manage their schedule and communicate with us. It also allows us as owners to put everything our staff needs in one place.

Pros

Brings together my team with the chat function, allows us to schedule and change schedule easily, and manages vacation time. It also allows our hourly staff to clock in and out without having the use a spreadsheet at the end of the month.

Cons

It's a bit pricey having to choose different add ons once you get over 10 employees. Having access to everything with 10 or less and then having to choose what you want to keep and stay in budget was tough.

Overall Connect has been great, quick to fix, friendly and a very useful app. My support team as we have multiple locations to manage is available to me consistently and sometimes reaches out just to check in I love that!

Pros

Forms, organization all the communication in one place connecteam has been a game changer for our growing MSO! The support staff always available and they aren't afraid to come with the GIFs to lighten the mood. So grateful for this software every day!

Cons

I have submitted a few product feedback requests things are still growing and building I am confident the things that don't exist yet are on the way. Specifically, I want to be able to export my activity analytics to include in our BI reporting for team productivity so when reviews come up, we can provide Data driven feedback

It allowed us to do better work flow, time tracking, geofencing for staff, etc. I would recommend Connecteam to organizations that need a quick solution that has a mobile first approach to manage teams, and time keeping, necessary for shift working staff.

Pros

Connect Team is a solid solution for time tracking for smaller businessess looking to scale. It is also cost effective to get started quickly as you build and grow the business.

Cons

The lack of integrations to other solutions, i.e. payroll for example or POS systems limit the ability to make it a vital platform for larger businesses. If they get a solid integrations with a payroll partner, I think the solution would elevate in relevance.

The chat notifications issues are a critical failure for my company, so can neither recommend nor plan to continue using once we migrate to alternative.

Pros

It is easy to get in touch with support and the core features related to posting items to the entire team, while a bit overly complex, work well.

Cons

Consistent chat notification failures that can not be easily solved by support and require frequently updating app or uninstalling and reinstalling. Too many complaints from my team that they are missing time sensitive messages.

Overall, it is a seamless communication system for staff and way to track and stream line shift work and who is available. I like how it can be color coordinated for individuals, how on-call shifts can be posted clearly, and time off requests are easy to approve.

Pros

It is really useful and clear way to track shifts, manage different shifts, and engage with staff members. I love the way you can easily connect with the team through the messaging app and this is the most seamless way to identify quickly who is on staff so we can reach out as leadership. Time logging is easy to manage and edit if needed, and approving time sheets is seamless.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints about connect team. I haven't had to use customer support to this point to address any issues, so I genuinely have no critiques at this point.

Excellent. We tested three different scheduling online services. We chose Connecteam for their customer support, ease of use and the online training base.

Pros

All of the options that are available to choose from that makes it adaptable to any industry. The flexibility makes it a great choice for anything from restaurants to rescues.

Cons

It took awhile to navigate easily. The descriptions between different items could be clearer to help when choosing between shifts and jobs when setting up our schedules.
