Other than that one discrepancy in timesheet reporting, it has been a great app so far for our landscape design and install teams!

Pros

The value for the money is phenomenal for a small business under 10 employees. We got it for doing time sheets but it has so much more! It's easy to use, although I have delegated much of that to our Operations Lead, it has been simple to learn how to navigate for me and the seasonal help as well.

Cons

One bug which just popped up was my weekly summary emails missed hours for one employee, whereas in the app itself they were correct. Something I need to watch when doing payroll.

THE TECHS CAN USE IT EASILY. I APPRECIATE THE WEEKLY REPORT FOR PAYROLL. WE LOVE THE CHAT OPTION. GREAT ADDITION.

ITS VERY HARD TO UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESSES AND OTHER INFORMATION. IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO FIGURE IT OUT. BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL.

It's been really useful in helping us through the start-up phase of our business as we navigate rostering and communication with our Team.

Pros

I like the colour coordinated shifts that make it easy to track what's going on from a visual stand point.

Cons

The reporting is clunky and limited in information that is available. I've often got to feel my way around for the reports before I find the correct one.

Overall does what I like and worth the money. It seems to work around any small issues about not being construction.

Ease of use. I can navigate it so well and my guys like the application as well. It has overall be a great experience

It would be awesome to gear a little more towards construction. This seems to be more for a restraunt or something of that nature. Construction is a little different.

I haven't used the full range / capabilities of connect teams. I communication platform and knowledge based tools is a great tool for me. On the other hand, creating tasks, forms and process for onboarding new employees is very clunky, confusing and not really user friendly

Pros

I use connect teams as a communication platform for my crew and for onboarding new employees. I own and operate a roofing company. with them having the app on their phone, it's also used as a personal pocket guide. They have access to knowledge based tools that they can reference while they are doing their work on site. I have field techs that also use the knowledge based tools to help them with their job role. I love how their is a directory as well for contacts. I can input relevant contacts in connect teams and my field supervisor will have access to them right away in case they need to communicate with a specific person. I love how it's free for up to a certain number of people.

Cons

I also use connect teams for onboarding new employees. I have forms that they fill out, I have them upload their personal documents (License, Certificates, employee contracts, etc). This saves me time from having to do it myself. I have tasks that I assign them to help on board them. This part of connect teams i don't find user friendly. For me, I would love to have a standard form or a standard task and have them saved in the system that I can use continuously for different employees. With connect teams, I would create a form or task and once that employee completes it, i can't find it without having to re-create it.

Connecteam has helped me keep my team organized, accountable, and operating efficiently. It's streamlined how I manage people and made it significantly easier to stay on top of operations. Highly recommend it for any business owner managing a team. Great for a beginning team, like mine.

Pros

Connecteam has been a game-changer for managing my team. The platform covers everything I need in one place — time tracking, scheduling, communication, and employee management. The feature set is comprehensive and genuinely useful for day-to-day operations.

Cons

The learning curve can be a bit steep at first with so many features available, but once you're up and running it's very intuitive. For instance, I do my payroll twice a month, 1st - 15th, and then 16th - 31st. I wish that was the default since it's most common.

Essy to use once admins understand how to set up. We had some tlissues with admins understanding how to exactly create a job profile.

Easy to keep workers honest. Easy to creat job titles and understand how to create worker profiles. Once the app us downloaded and coded

Cons

No GPS tracking of workers. If I am going to keep them logged in on site. It woukd be nolice to be able to locate exactly where they are.

What a wonderful app this is! It does everything I need to staff my multi-disciplinary surgery center!

Pros

User Access, Ease of use, access to phone app. This app does everything that I need for my staffing purposes.

Cons

No issues to complain about! From being able to staff different disciplines in different areas of my surgery center, to being able to send messages through the app to communicate with my team. This app does it all!

Overall, our experience with Connecteam has been extremely positive. We initially adopted it as a communication tool, but it has evolved into a central operating platform for our team. The combination of messaging, channels, file sharing, announcements, and scheduling has helped keep everyone aligned and accountable. One of the features we use most frequently is photo sharing, which allows team members to document installations, production progress, and completed projects in real time. Customer support has been responsive whenever we have needed assistance, and the system has been reliable with very few bugs or technical issues. The platform is easy for employees to learn, and user access permissions help ensure people see only the information relevant to their role. Connecteam offers a tremendous number of features for the price, and the free plan for smaller teams makes it easy to get started. It has become an important part of our daily operations and continues to provide value as our company grows.

Pros

Connecteam has become the communication hub for our business. What I appreciate most is how accessible it is across devices. I can leave it open on both my phone and computer throughout the day, which allows me to stay connected whether I am in the office, on a job site, or traveling between client meetings. The channel structure is one of its strongest features. We have private one-on-one conversations with employees when needed, but we also maintain operational channels for sales, leads, estimate review, design, production, installation, and general company communication. This keeps information organized and easy to find. The ability to share photos and files directly within conversations is extremely valuable in our industry, where visual communication is often necessary. For a growing business, the free plan for up to 10 users provided tremendous value and allowed us to implement the platform without a large upfront investment.

Cons

While Connecteam does many things exceptionally well, the calendar and scheduling functionality could be improved. The event calendar feels a little clunky compared to the rest of the platform. Making edits often requires several clicks, which can become frustrating when managing multiple jobs or appointments throughout the day. I would also prefer a more traditional monthly calendar view as the default option. The current layout tends to focus on upcoming items, making it less intuitive when trying to review past events or quickly view an entire month's schedule at a glance. Archived jobs and completed events are available, but accessing them takes additional navigation. None of these issues are deal breakers, but they do create extra steps in what is otherwise a very streamlined user experience.

As a small business, we wanted a platform that combined team communication, scheduling, announcements, file sharing, and operational coordination in a single system without requiring multiple subscriptions. It allowed us to centralize communication across departments while keeping information organized and accessible from both desktop and mobile devices. The combination of affordability and operational features made Connecteam a better fit for our growing business.

The mobile experience is also excellent, allowing our team to stay connected whether they are in the office, in production, or on a job site. Ultimately, Connecteam provided more functionality, better organization, and greater overall value for the price than the alternatives we evaluated.
