### "Great Software for managing work but pricey"

Overall, Connecteam has solved some issues but created some annoyances with other areas that we were satisfied with. With a little investment to get to know the software and setting it up to your liking it can be a useful tool. We did think it was going to be a cheaper software for us and it is ending up to be a little more expensive. I don't know if we would stick with it long term because of the price point but I think it's a great software option for businesses with more budget.

Pros

The scheduling tool is very easy to use and convenient. I do think it looks more professional than similar softwares and there are a fair amount of features available if you're willing to invest. I do like that the cost is the same until you reach a certain number of users.

Cons

It feels pricey for the amount you get. We did a free trial and had access to everything but it was hard to know which features we would have long term at our price point. While the prices are on the website it was a little misleading. I also dislike that employees can't post on the feed. I find the internal dashboard for making edits and updates a little confusing and not user friendly.

### "Effective ways of managing staff. "

IT has saved me time and has made it easier to schedule and manage staff for all of their shifts. It has many features, so many I am even still learning.

Pros

Connecteam has been excellent value for money and has become an essential tool for our staff scheduling and day-to-day operations. The system is very easy to use for both managers and staff, with a clear mobile app that works well even for seasonal and part-time team members. Time tracking is accurate and reliable, helping us manage payroll with confidence, and we’ve experienced very few bugs or issues. On the rare occasion we’ve needed help, customer support has been quick, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Overall, it’s a well-designed, dependable platform that saves us a huge amount of time and admin.

Cons

Need to be able to manage qualifications and certificates. We need a way of working out when a certificate will expire and help with certificate compliance. To Track Staff performance and log staff observations and physical observable performance.

Overall I really like all the features and I wish I was able to use them all to get the most out of the program. I feel like it is a good program for small and large companies and I would like a training to learn how to use it more for my team.

Pros

I like all the various features, being able to create quizzes and courses helps a lot with training. I like creating the events and updates.

Cons

I think something that is challenging about connecteam is it is really easy to learn how to navigate but having to continue to upgrade to get all the features is really annoying and takes more time.

It has been great for our users. There has been no website or mobile application downtime for our users so far. The ease of use of the schedule feature for claiming shifts and clocking in and out has been great for our staff and interns.

Pros

Team communication through the chat feature. We share our plans for the week, upcoming events, and outreach photos in our community. It has been great to update each other in real time as we are in our community.

Cons

Not having the capability to add a closed office feature to the schedule. We do have days when our office is closed. It would be great to inform any mobile application users that our office is closed on the shift calendar.

Easy to use. Great way to stay connected with my staff. As an owner/manager it is nice to have all of my employee information in one app. Scheduling changes are easy to do and time clocks are easy to adjust too.

Pros

I like the scheduling and time click feature. Having one place to see everything for my staff is great!

Cons

I created an inventory list and used a drop down menu. Unfortunately you are only able to select one item from the drop down menu. Multiple items to select would be more convent for me, but isn’t an option.

Great overall experience and I don't plan to make a change anytime soon. A few kinks, but nothing that impacted the overall functionality.

Pros

Very easy to use and small business-friendly. The interface is modern, clean, and well-organized. For the most part, user friendly.

Cons

I'm not crazy about the fact that if your vacation time is one set amout of time at beginning of year you can't put time in in advance in the new year because if the hours haven't started over yet it looks like you have no time to request. Navigating to add time-off for an employee is harder than it should be. As a manager, this should be pretty simple in case you need to add in last minute sick time that they haven't added or forgot to put in.

Easy to use. Not as complicated as other apps. "My Availability" needs work. When I say not available in one job setting, it doesn't lap over to the other job setting.

Pros

Time tracking and editing I find are a great asset. Allowing me to edit the actual time I started, due to something happening that kept me from logging in on time. Ease of use makes using the a joy.

Cons

What is bothersome to me is that it doesn't tell me who added or deleted shifts that I had already confirmed.

The administration of temporary event employees needs to be accurately logged. I apply it to track time and costs onsite. It sells at a reasonable price, but the application is prone to bugs when used the most.

Pros

The facility of the mobile time tracking is also very easy to use, and our freelance event staff and brand ambassadors can clock in without any issues at the venue.

Cons

Periodic bugs and problems with the GPS-tracking might lead to payroll problems, and to establish granular user access to temporary weekend crew, it is necessary to call their sluggish customer service.

Pros

Its very easy to use. I do enjoy that we can post birthdays, anniversaries and easy to upload expenses.

Cons

Unfortunately it does not sync with our payroll system to import So it just exports into an excel file.

The Connectteam team has been very helpful in introducing all the features and setting us up with all the features that we specifically need for our situation.

Pros

Comparing this to other apps out there this one gave a much Better value for your money and it is pretty intuitive

Cons

I'm using the basic version so all the options are not available but the more advanced versions give you a lot more options and features that make the app much more powerful if you opt to upgrade.

Overall, 7/10. 100% to support for rocking it and always rescuing us when we have a hiccup and/or question. Fantastic team! Pricing for this service is the best I have seen so far. We have looked into changing to 2 other services instead of continuing to Connecteam, but over all pricing, support, and ease of use is just too good.

Pros

Connecteam is a GREAT starter for small businesses who need a routine. Great for large companies as well who don't need more than just time tracking.

Cons

I would say, in GPS and Job Scheduler, not being able to separate personal notes from Employees. We don't use the schedule, because each of our employees are different and we need to notate things on their scheduled shift, but privately. It's not for the employee or others to see. Only management. I wish we could utilize Job Scheduler and make our operation easier, smooth , and more efficient, but it's not possible. I currently use an excel sheet. For GPS, it's definitely helping us, but we need more out of it to make it work 100% for us.

### "Great App with Great Support Team! "

My overall experience with Connecteam has been positive. I had an issue one day and used the chat support feature and was able to get a solution to my problem very quickly with accurate information. The customer support agent even followed up with me to ensure that I was able to successfully fix my issue and asked if I needed any other help. Great customer service!

Pros

The Connecteam app is very easy to use on both the admin side as well as for the end user. I am able to run reports very easily to use for payroll entry. I like that I get notified anytime there has been a request for a shift change so I can keep track of employee activities very easily.

Cons

The thing that I like least is the amount of clicks it takes to get into timecard history data, however, with the most recent update it seems to be in a better location now.

It has been very positive and help to streamline many areas of our practice. I love that it keeps up with milestones like birthdays and anniversaries. Even if it fall on the weekend everyone can see and comment on it. Over all has been a big asset for our office.

Pros

I love that we are able to do a lot in one place. Chat, employee files, time clock, and task delegation. Great time saver and accessible from anywhere.

Cons

Clocking in and out has been a little bit of a learning curve but everyone is catching on now. We finally learned that if you don't hit approve when clocking out it doesn't save your time. But with the ability of team members to adjust/correct their time for approval it balances out.

I have been using it for well over a year. The majority of that time as a customer support type. The last month, I’ve been using it as management.

Pros

The layout on the homepage is easy to navigate. I have been in management for a month and I have been able to figure out how to use the tabs on the homepage by myself.

Cons

Assigning tasks should be simplified. I would like to see pertinent store information instead of having to sift through multiple stores employees.

It is a great product, with excellent customer support. I use it daily and it is very versitile. It's great to keep track of time, payroll, specific jobs etc.

Pros

It's very easy to use. Love that the app can be used on employees phones or kiosk. Also, like the endless job feature, this really helps with the multiple jobs we do.

Cons

Sometimes adding new employees can be tricky. Would like more premium benefits without the costs. We average less than 10 employees, but archive only works with premium subsciptions.

Our small business lives and thrives through Connecteam scheduling tool. Life has been so much easier for the team because of it.

Pros

The scheduling tool is so easy to use. Being able to see your team and the entire schedule for a team in one glance makes team mgmt a breeze!

Cons

I wish that the internal messaging system would go directly to the team members' texts rather than being internal to connecteam. We have missed a few messages because people see all their texts but do not check messages/comments that are sent in Connecteam.

I like the amount of features it has, specifically the Calendar, Time Clock and Courses. Since there are so many features, I also find the recorded webinars helpful.

Cons

We find at times chats don't deliver immediately so there is a delay in communication, which leads us to have to communicate outside of Connecteam. We also find within the courses, images don't stay linked.

Easy to use for admin, management and staff, allows a good amount of information to be communicated between management and staff without having to send emails or make phone calls.

Pros

I like the scheduling, that I get good visibility of the jobs and which staff are working. The timesheets are helpful for payroll.

Cons

I want to use it to train my staff, but the limit on videos in the Knowledge Base compared to the small number of staff I have make it unfeasible, so I have invested in anothe platform for training when I would rather use less tools. It also has time clock glitches regularly which impact my staff and payroll.

Overall, it's fine. It's clunky than it should be and definitely feels outdated. As mentioned, the time clock feature is fairly poor, but overall, the software is intuitive and gets the job done.

Pros

The software gives you a broad overview of direct reports at the same time and its UI is very intuitive.

Cons

Every time I log in it directs to a dead page that I then have to move to a separate page to load anything else. I get many notifications about new features, new products, etc. that are not relevant to me given I do not own the account, nor do I have any say in which software we use. It is very distracting. The biggest issue is the time clock. Adjusting times on the time clock is very clunky and slow. In and out for lunch and then in and out for end of day are on separate lines. If I need to go in and manually change times due to system error, it takes far longer than it should as that function in particular becomes very buggy when I need to add the additional line for pre lunch shift or post lunch shift. Additionally, If I have to one of my direct reports forgets to clock in, if I were to add their time manually, they cannot then clock out for lunch/end of day as my manual punch doesn't synch up so instead they are clocking in. So iI then have to notify them and adjust both times manually.

Had a manager that made us all leave Slack to move to Connecteam. Connect team was a big headache. Used Connecteam while curing to myself for about two years. Recently moved back to Slack. Celebrated no longer dealing with Connecteam.

Pros

The Task management feature seemed like it would be helpful to our team.

Cons

Pretty much every aspect of Connecteam was a disaster in terms of ease of use. It did not notify you if you had a message or a task if you were using the browser version. It did not allow you to send DMs to more than one team member without setting up an entire new team, which was clunky and inefficient. You could not send notes to yourself, which is an important feature our team needs, and in general it was not office user friendly.

### "Reduce Scheduling Headaches with Connecteam"

I've had to contact Connecteam with questions and they were quickly and easily answered. I feel they have great customer support. They have made scheduling a much easier task.

Pros

Connecteam reduces the amount of time I spend scheduling each week. I am able to copy full weeks or individual schedules over from previous weeks. This service allows me schedule full time employees easily and then plug-in part-time employees where more shifts are needed. I used to spend an hour a week scheduling and now I can do a week in about 10 minutes.

Cons

I do wish there was an option that could be toggled to allow the start and end times on a shift I am making match the "prefer to work" times selected by employees.

It has been great so far, didnt take much of a learning curve for general staff and our admin roles are still figuring out all the features.

Pros

Value for money, Everything in one place, time tracking. It was very easy to transition from all of our previous platforms to this one. Most everyone was able to pick it up quickly, which was very important for transitioning during our busiest season.

Cons

I wish the communication area was a little more robust, we came from slack where there were a lot more features, like threads or pins for important information. Also I wish the tasks area was a little more cusomelizable and the filters stuck vs having to reset them each time.

Overall a positive experience where we can manage our business the way we like to with all the customizable features. I am excited to see how Connecteam keeps growing and improving, especially the Onboarding process that is set to be released this year!

Pros

The strongest asset about Connecteam is the ability to fully customize the schedule including reports, schedules, job titles and subtitles. I also appreciate the monthly updates and the customer support is always quick to response and be helpful.

Cons

My two dislikes about Connecteam are having to pay per active user. As we are running a labor company, workforce fluctuates frequently and it is difficult to budget when the billing is constantly changing. In Addition, I would like the group feature to be better. In order to put the amount of people I need for a group shift I have to enable 'claim shift.' I would like to put 8 slots in a group shift, without enabling the users to claim it. It would make group scheduling easier.
