Pros For me as a small business owner the usage of the software is quite simple. I can add incoming invoices with ease. Create simple invoices for my customers and sync my bank accounts. Cons My accountant does not like the software. He tells me that he is missing professional features to work more efficient. Unfortunately I also have a list of things I would like to have improved to get a more efficient work. Cons The software is dead. There aren't any new features for years. Small things need dozen of clicks when one would be enough. " February 10, 2026 1.0 Terrible experience with Bexio, avoid. I really wanted to use and like it, but then i had a taste of how they handle customers and I will gladly use anything else, no matter how good they might be. I received a sales call after signing up for a trial. I was told certain features were there, I just need to add my bank account info. I was offered amazing discounts in order to sign a 1 year contract right there on the call, which I did. By the time I could test the whole thing, the trial had expired. The sticker is, the feature i was promised was actually an upsell, and BECAUSE I DID NOT ASK IF IT COSTS EXTRA, they did not tell me. By the time i found out, the 30 day trial expired. I politely asked Bexio to cancel anyway, but with many emails and phone calls they insisted that i signed the contract and I have to pay and it doesn't matter. Legally they are right, but its no way to run a business - just trying to get people to sign contracts and then extract money from unhappy people. I explained that this is unhealthy business practice, but they would rather get a few hundred francs from an unsatisfied potential customer than create a fan base of happy customers. My advise, find a company that has a better customer service policy, Pros It does the job, but a little out of date. I dont want to write more here because i had a bad experience with the so called customer service. Finger weg! Wer einen fairen Partner sucht, sollte einen Bogen um Bexio machen. Pros der Name vielleicht? Nach dem Telefonanruf hörte sich der Anbieter vielversprechend an und wir glaubten auf Grund von Empfehlungen von Freunden den richtigen Partner gefunden zu haben. Cons Ich kann vor diesem Anbieter leider nur warnen. Meine Erfahrung mit Bexio war enttäuschend und endet nun in einer Kostenfalle. 1. Ich fühlte mich telefonisch massiv zum Kauf gedrängt. Nach Abschluss musste ich feststellen, dass die Software für meine Zwecke unzureichend ist – simple Funktionen, die bei der Konkurrenz Standard sind, fehlen hier oder sind unnötig kompliziert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich absolut nicht. Aufgrund dessen habe ich die Software faktisch nie genutzt. 2. Die Abo-Falle: Leider habe ich vergessen, das Abo fristgerecht zu kündigen (mein Fehler). Als die Mail zur automatischen Verlängerung um ein weiteres Jahr (Kostenpunkt 800.-) kam, habe ich sofort reagiert, den Fall geschildert und um Stornierung gebeten, da der Service nie genutzt wurde. 3. Null Kulanz & Inkasso: Anstatt einer kundenfreundlichen Lösung zeigte sich Bexio komplett stur. Es gab null Kulanz. Schlimmer noch: Nun wurde sofort ein Inkassobüro eingeschaltet, das 1200.- fordert. Die Differenz wird als angeblicher 'Verzugsschaden' deklariert. Pros Die Lohnbuchhaltung ist gut in die kantonale Meldestruktur integriert und funktioniert zuverlässig für CHF-Zahlungen. Auch die Integration mit Ausgleichskassen ist unkompliziert. October 26, 2018 2.0 Like I said, comparing to others out there - better GUI, support is usually good...but it´s not hard to make a better cloud service if everything is lagging behind (yes, I am talking about Swiss web/tech/software scene). But that is an opportunity well identified (but not very well filled) by Bexio and other guys. ALL IN ALL2 maybe 3 stars: it´s not for small business owners and accountants are hating it anyway (as every other system that attacks their cash-cow: simple job (like basic booking) for a hefty price and client´s ignorance/fear of accounting) I did made a detailed list of improvements for us as users to make it a real winner for all, but Bexio owner team simply dismissed it. Yeap, I offered that for free. Are there better solutions? Maybe, and maybe not. It stays my favourite, over-featured invoice maker with a good, but self-sabotaged ambition to be an accounting software, short of very few steps to become a real king and dominate the market. Sorry, but IF YOU PAY THE ACCOUNTANT BY THE HOUR (and give access to a sensitive data) YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE LOGS (Hellooo) to see what they are doing. When I asked for it (check this out)BEXIO told me they are forbidden by law to give me that (!?!?!?!). A huge minus there. - Importing transactions is STILL NOT WORKING WELL as it should. Lots of mistakes, doubbles, triplles and thus making it quite UNRELIAble...they are improving, but very very slow (for this fundamental feature) - Filters and filtering is simply - bad. February 12, 2025 2.0 Pros Das Nutzerinterface und der Funktionsumfang sind soweit ok. Könnte teils vereinfacht und aufgehübscht werden und auch die UX könnte noch bessere Nutzerführung vertragen. Cons Die Kostenstruktur und die Kundenbetreuung. Bexio ist einfach zu teuer und insbesondere für Kleinstunternehmen (10-20 Buchungen pro Jahr) niemals rentabel. Kundenbetreuung ist miserabel, Mahnungen versenden klappt gut, Antwort geben nur jedes zweite Mal. Auch, dass die Belegsverarbeitung nochmals extra kostet trotz dem extrem hohen Grundpreis, spricht Bände. Schade, denn eigentlich ist die Idee dahinter top. Review Source AU André U. CEO Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Mittelmässige Software, die nur durch Werbung und Investoren eine grosse Marktabdeckung erreicht hat" March 24, 2023 2.0 Für Kleinstunternehmen würde ich Bexio nur empfehlen, weil es als All-in-One-Lösung viele Funktionen bietet und für eine einfach Buchhaltung reicht. Sobald ein Unternehmen mehr Funktionen benötigt, würde ich empfehlen, eine richtige Buchhaltungssoftware einzusetzen. Pros All-in-one Buchhaltungstool, mit vielen Funktionen, die aber auch immer wieder schwächen haben. Cons Der Support wurde sich in den letzten Jahren immer schlechter. Die Supportzeiten wurden reduziert und dann wartet man in der Warteschleifen sehr lange (aktuell warte ich z.B. bereits seit über 30 Minuten). Zudem haben sie ein Chatsystem eingeführt, bei dem anderen Bexio-Nutzer einem Helfen sollen (Datenschutz lässt grüssen), d.h. Bexio schiebt den Aufwand für Probleme mit der Software ab. Insbesondere im Lohn-Modul hat es nach Jahren immer noch grobe Fehler, z.B. Jahresabrechnungen an Sozialversicherungen werden als erfolgreich geflaggt, die Sozialversicherung hat aber nichts erhalten und versendet dann Mahnungen. Auch im Kernbereich, der Buchhaltung fehlen Möglichkeiten zur Budgetierung, Kostenstellen etc. Es gibt zwar viele Treuhänder, die mit Bexio für ihre Kunden arbeiten, die meisten erklären aber einem immer mal wieder, dass Bexio da und dort massive Schwächen hat, die sie dann manuell korrigieren müssen. Pros Die grundsätzliche Idee hinter Bexio ist cool, eigentlich ein Mini-ERP zum schlanken Preis. Es ist einfach, Rechnungen zu schreiben egal ob für Material oder für Zeit. Dank QR-EZS werden die Rechnungsdaten direkt von der Bank eingelesen. Das spart Zeit. Der Jahresabschluss oder die MwSt-Abrechnung ist einfach. Cons Viele Dinge, die man als selbstverständlich erachtet, funktionieren bei Bexio nicht. So muss man sich selber um die Archivierung kümmern, es gibt aber keinen Knopf, wo man alles aufs Mal herunterladen kann. Teils war das Programm monatelang sehr langsam, nach jedem Klick wartete man eine gefühlte Ewigkeit. Die Software folgt keinem konsitenten Pflichtenheft. So gibt es etwa die Funktion von Akontozahlungen eigener Kunden. Vorauszahlungen an Lieferanten hingegen sind nicht vorgesehen. Manchmal sind es kleinste Dinge, die nicht funktionieren wie dass man nach der Eingabe der Bank-Codenummer mit Enter bestätigen kann sondern nur die Maus funktioniert. Derartige Dinge korrigiert bexio nicht wenn man sie meldet. Wir werden im Laufe dieses Jahres wechseln. Pros Grundsätzlich sind die wichtigsten Dinge drin .. aber siehe Nachteile Cons Für das was die Software kann ist sie schlicht zu teuer. Kernfunktionen fehlen und werden an kostenpflichtige Partner abgespiesen. Zum Beispiel: Budgetierung fehlt völlig. (Banana Buchhaltung kostet mich 120 CHF one Shot pro Jahr und kann das). Umlaufbuchhaltung (Kreditoren Einkauf) mit dem starren Menü unbrauchbar. Mahnungen fehlt spezifischer Text d.h. es gibt nur einen "Standardtext" den man festlegen kann. Je nach Kundensegment sind verschiedene Texte notwendig. Ruft man an wegen Problemen ist man selbst das Problem (ich bin erst 30 Jahre in der IT und davon 20 Jahre als Firmeneigentümer mit Rechnungslegung) oder man soll den Treuhänder beiziehen. Bei dem Abschluss im letzten Jahr kam es soweit, dass auch der Treuhänder nicht mehr weiter wusste. Teilweise werden (sehr) vollmundig weitere Funktionen in den zusätzlichen Paketen versprochen .. Projektrapportierung zbsp nach Freischaltung erfährt man, dass diese nur eine downloadbare CSV Tabelle umfasst. Danach schaltet man das Modul ab und bekommt eine Rechnung für die Nutzung eines Tages von 1.20. Diverse Vorstösse Unternommen (wir sind seit 20 Jahren bei der Mobiliar) und Verbesserungsvorschläge vorgeschlagen (zbsp PowerPoint eine Seite für die Übersicht) --> Keine Antwort. Diese Bugs/Fehler beim automatischen Abgleich des Bankkontos (Sammelbuchungen werden nicht als Einzelbuchungen dargestellt bei der Verwendung von QR Rechnungen) oder auch beim nicht automatisierten Rechnungsversand (alle Vereinsmitgliederrechnungen müssen manuel erstellt und versendet werden) führen dazu dass man am Schluss jährlich mehr Buchhaltungsarbeit als Verein hat als mit Konkurrenzprodukten wie z.B.
