Great experience with roomraccoon and daily use. It works quick and fast and is always up to date. We also have never experienced a outtage of the system.

Pros

Quick service and very easy to use. There are a lot of upgrades possible. The costumer support is mostly really fas and great.

Cons

The price is the thing what is bothering me the most. It would also be great to be able to make your own variables for the documents

Ashlene van Reenen has given so much attention to all of our concerns & arranged the training sessions or integration meetings we required without any hesitation or delay in time. Jane Bosch has patiently given us training & showed us amazing short cuts! Thank you for the amazing support centre && Rocco ia an absolute amazing super star AI assistant!

Horrible! I wouldn't wish this kind of experience to anybody

Horrible, how they treat customers is unacceptable.

Cons

We entered into a contract with Room Raccoon under the main agreement that we could integrate Stripe as our payment gateway. However, during the final stages before going live, we were suddenly informed that integrating Stripe was impossible, and we were left with no choice but to use their payment gateway, incurring unexpected costs of approximately 10,000EUR based on revenue. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction and the fact that this change contradicted the terms we initially agreed upon, we were met with unresponsiveness, and unprofessionalism, and no solutions. Attempts to seek a resolution or a refund for the program we did not use for a single day were unsuccessful, resulting in the loss of 3,000EUR and months of work. After posting a negative review, we received a public response from RoomRaccon, expressing understanding and extending an invitation to discuss the matter for a potential solution: "Please contact our customer support team to discuss your situation further. We would be happy to continue to be in contact with you and seek a resolution." Encouraged by this, I promptly reached out to them for assistance, hopeful that it was a sincere commitment. FAIL AGAIN! it's been over two weeks, and I'm still waiting for a response to my email. Our experience with RoomRacoon has been extremely disappointing, and we caution others to approach this company with caution.

Pros

All-in-one feature. Being able to run payments, get all the guest information, etc in one place. The customer service is very good.

Cons

I would like to be able to send an email to support instead of having to go through the website, which can be timeconsuming. I would like to be able to send newsletters to prior guests from the platform.

Great PMS. Best we've worked with since we've started 5 years ago. Everything works very well. Professional design and ease of use.

Pros

All the reservation info is on one page. You can charge your credit/debit card in the reservation. Clean and neat layout. Very user friendly.

Cons

Able to resolve issues telephonically and not open a ticket. To talk to the Connectivity Team directly if issues occur.

We've been working with RoomRaccoon since the beginning, but they still haven't solved all the start up issues. For smaller hotels / B&B's without a restaurant I guess it is a suitable product, but when it's a bit more complicated than just rooms to sell they unfortunately still have a long way to go.

Pros

This PMS is very user-friendly and is easy to set up.

Cons

The software has a lot of flaws that they are still working on, while their fee is relatively high.

The automated emails and payment processes are especially helpful, and guests appreciate the professional communication they receive before and during their stay. The support team is also fantastic, quick to respond and happy to assist. RoomRaccoon is a smart, reliable solution for accommodation providers, and we’re happy to be using it. Highly recommended, with a little room for future growth.

Pros

What we love most is how much time it saves us. The automation features—like sending guest communication, managing availability, and processing payments, take a huge load off our shoulders. Plus, the integration with OTAs has helped increase our visibility and bookings without any extra hassle.

Cons

Even though they work swiftly to fix bugs we now and then experience the same problem with bookings unlinking when you move them around.

### "Bugs überall in der Pricing Tabelle"

Anfangs waren wir sehr enthusiastisch da wir RoomRaccon als neues innovatives Unternehmen empfunden haben. Jetzt allerdings bereue ich nicht eine STandardsoftware ausgesucht zu haben, da mir die Nutzung sehr viel Zeit und Nerven kostet. Ich bin normalerweiser keiner der eine Rezension schreibt sondern versuche es immer mit dem Unternehmen selbst auszumachen. Da ich aber nach mehreren Anfragen mit einem Verantwortlichen zu sprechen keine Antwort erhalten habe und das Problem mit unserer Preis-/Tariftabelle nach mehr als einem Monat nicht gelöst ist, weiß ich nicht mehr was ich machen soll. Das Produkt ist nicht Marktreif.

Pros

Die möglichkeitn Revenuemanagement zu betreiben war anfangs sehr spannend, hat sich jedoch als total falsch rausgestellt.

Cons

\- Unsere ganze Tarif- und Preistabelle war seit Saisonbeginn voller Bugs. Preise sind bis zu 50% teuerer als von uns festgelegt oder einfach gefühlt willkürlich kalkuliert, ohne nachvollziehen zu können woher es kommt. Der Kundenservice ist zwar bemüht kann aber nach mehr als einem Monat keine Lösung anbieten. Stammgäste rufen uns an und fragen warum wir plötzlich so teuer sind. - Unter drei nächte wollten wir auf keinem Buchungsportal buchbar sein. Jedoch haben Bugs in Roomraccoon dazu geführt dass wir in der Hochsaison über Bückung 1 oder 2 Nächte Buchungen reinbekommen haben. - Andere Bugs haben dazu geführt, dass "long Stay" Tarife (ab 7 Nächte) auch für kürzere Aufenthalte buchbar waren. - Diese ganzen Fakten sind mehr als nur Geschäftsschädigend bei einem kleinen Haus mit nur 11 Zimmer. - Dass wir uns auf die Preisangaben in Roomraccoon nicht verlassen können führt dazu, dass wir keine direkten Buchungen erhalten und dass bei jedem Angebot die Preise und Tarife kontrollieren müssen wodurch wir enorme Zeit verlieren. - Zudem wurde uns Ende 2020 versichert, dass gewisse Schnittstellen, die für uns in Südtirol notwendig sind (Polizei Meldung, Astat) bis Februar 2021 eingebaut werden. Wir habne jetzt Juli 2021 und bis jetzt müssen wir immer noch alles händisch eingeben. Die Polizeimeldung hat die ersten drei Tage funktioniert und danach kamen nur noch Fehlermeldungen. - Ich schätze, dass wir durchschnittlich 1h pro Tag durch diese Mängel verlieren. - Noch vieles mehr

Leider inzwischen Katastrophal! Hier fühlt man sich inzwischen leider wirklich, als ob man auf den völlig falschen Partner gesetzt hat!Kundenservice und Zusammenarbeit sind nicht möglich! Bei Updates werden Funktionen gelöscht!

O modulo de pagamentos é muito mau. O reporting também. Tem muita informação mas alguma dela muito pouco clara e com dados inconsistentes.

Como disse anteriormente, ainda estou a conhecer o sistema e tenho muitas dúvidas. Mas estas surgem com o dia a dia. Mas já aprendi a tirar dúvidas através do help desk e as respostas tem sido dadas atempadamente, o que ajuda bastante

Estou a trabalhar com este software há muito pouco tempo. Comecei na empresa também há pouco tempo e por isso ainda estou a me ambientar a tudo. Não consigo para já avaliar todas as funcionalidades do software. A formação foi muito boa porque deu para ter uma noção maior das funcionalidades

Cons

Tenho ainda que me aprofundar mais na parte da faturação. Ainda tenho muitas dúvidas. Uma das questões foi levantada ontem, que é o fato de não conseguirmos ter duas formas de pagamento numa mesma fatura. Há que ser melhorado.

### "Great all-in-one system"

Pros

It's an easy to use system, yet sufficiently flexible to meet most requirements of any small to mid-sized hospitality business. On-boarding was pretty straight forward. The diary display is clear and well designed. The invoicing function saves me a lot of time!

Cons

It would be good to have pricing displayed on the diary page. Fees for payment processing are rather high.

Inexistência de alguns relatórios que usava na Newhotel e o mapa de reservas com cores por booker facilitava muito. Não haver integração com a Odisseias.

Pros

It is incredibly simple to use. The channel management is fantastic and the reservations are comprehensive. The customer support is second to none, one of RoomRaccoon's greatest assets is truly the people who run it. Considering how easy it makes my life as a hotelier and how much time it saves me I would say the software is also incredible value for money. Its drag and drop features, invoice generation, calendar synchronisation and free booking page are all great features. Another bonus is that all of my staff, some of whom are not tech savvy at all, picked up how to use this software in minutes. RoomRaccoon has become indispensable to our business, and I'm a wholly satisfied customer that would highly recommend it to anyone in the industry.

I don't know yet. I don't know what's in for me;-) I just wanted to help my software supplier, RoomRaccoon.

Pros

That it is accurate. I haven't got any double booking. And I can trust the system with the bookings.

Cons

That it cost me a lot of time filling it with the information about my B&B. I also had to translate my text into several languages. It would be nice if the software would also be able to translate the text.

### "Automação quase instantânea de vários processos"

Ótimo onboarding. Fácil utlização. Acompanhamento durante todo o processo pré, durante e pós implementação.

Pros

Plataforma bastante intuitiva para o utilizador. Automatizou uma série de processos que permitem melhor gerir a nossa atividade (SIBA, gestão da propriedade, questionário do INE, pagamentos, envio de confirmação de reservas diretas, vendas diretas on-line).

Cons

Não tem módulo para criar múltiplas reservas para um cliente para várias semanas consecutivas com certa regularidade (segunda a sexta feira por exemplo). Não tem uma app apropriada para gestão fora do escritório. É preciso usar a página web normal o que dificulta utilização/visualização de certas funções ao gerir no telemóvel.

Não era compatível com conta existente no Booking.com. Obrigou criação de nova conta sem histórico o que fez despencar as vendas neste canal, que eram grande parte do influxo de reservas antes da sua implementação.
