From day one I loved what FieldPulse allowed us to accomplish. from the technical support during set up, to the ease of managing my business afterward. FieldPulse helped bring my business out of the Stone Ages.

Pros

It allowed me to pull my business into one software that helped me manage everything and intigrated seamlessly with QuickBooks.

Cons

there was a learning curve with FieldPulse, but the staff was amazing and were there whenever we needed them to help.

Fieldpulse has been an overall great experience, and the team has taken great care of me over the years. Would definitely recommend them to any other contractors. As it is, I've gotten 2-3 other contractors to sign up in the past.

Pros

Easy to use, intuitive software and a great team behind it that is always ready to help.

Cons

The mobile app is slightly less intuitive than working at a computer, but I feel like that's just a problem for me. The app itself is really good, just has a few less features than the web version.

Few options in the auto-trigger part, unable to modify how your auto-email would look like when sending out.

Overall I have had a good experience with Fieldpulse other than the little glitches that happen. Some of these have been fixed and the Fieldpulse team is very good at communicating and working with you to diligently fix an issues that come up. I also really appreciated that the Fieldpulse team added some features that our business needs that are not normally part of the software.

Pros

I deal with purchasing and creating purchase orders. I like that it is so easy to create PO's with the software and even easier to receive them. Just a matter of changing the status and updating the POs as necessary. It is also a lot easier to create invoices with Fieldpulse and collect payment. They recently added the feature to save credit cards for future payments and that saves a lot of time and hassle for the both our business and the customer as well. Lastly, The support that Fieldpulse provides is amazing! they are quick to respond and always keep you updated on all the changes happening.

Cons

There is a glitch when searching up customers. I will search up a specific customer and click on that customer but the software will take me to a different profile. Its easy to work around as you just have to search again and it will be fine. But its something that you will have to pay attention when dealing with different profiles. Although I will say since we have started using fieldpulse and it has had a few updates it has happened significantly less. Still happens once in a blue moon but the frequency has decreased over time.

Pros

There are multiple functions I like, multiple dashboards, bundle invoices, live chat help.

Cons

I feel it could flag what the error is when you experience issues.

My experience with Field Pulse is neutral. There are some really good features and some annoying ones.

Pros

I like that it is user friendly. It's easy to navigate through the system. Once you get the hang of it, the system has a smooth flow.

Cons

We receive duplicate emails for everything. The system is extremely slow at times. I also dont like that there is no way to actually track our daily payments without adding it ourselves.

My experience overall with FieldPulse has been mostly positive. I think the software is a good fit for the company as it has improved productivity and is definitely an upgrade from our previous software. There are some small issues we run into here and there, but I have faith that the FieldPulse team will address and fix them, as they have done for us before.

Pros

I like the automation and customer communication features. I also like that the software is relatively easy to use with no learning curve.

Cons

I think the reporting feature could use a little improvement. I like the wide-range of reports you are able to pull, but it takes a little long to load larger reports.

FieldPulse allows me, as an estimator, to create organized proposals to send to our clients. It's also nice to have so many features like being able to duplicate older proposals. That saves me a lot of time!

Pros

Organized, easy way to manage projects from estimate to completion.

Cons

I don't like the catalog of line items having to save every different line item that's edited.

Love it! Love that calls are recorded, customer flow is great and ease of seeing previous years jobs.

Pros

The ability to track calls and communication when customers state they never received, the system shows if it’s been opened.

Cons

I would Like a notes section that time stamps each entry for techs/office to see an overview on opening a profile. Not being able to set the addresses on invoices to fit in business window envelopes, it will not line up.

As far as the people I have dealt with, it has been great. Hat's off to Jordan Baker as she has always been available and is always quick to help. She has definitely made our transition to this software so much easier.

Pros

The ability to easily set up a customer and manage the job through multiple departments with ease.

Cons

While understandable since FP is designed for a wide area of businesses, I would like more customizable features to suit our needs. But we still make it work.

It has been beneficial for my company. I have been able to track sales and communication with my employees and customers. Recommend paying extra to have access to a customer success agent, definitely helped me get a better understanding of how to maximize the software for my needs.

Pros

Ease of use. Building price books was easy, and has worked out great for increasing sales with my customers.

Cons

Building forms was sort of clunky, think they could work on having prebuilt templates.

Pros

The UI is optimized on Mo Ike for tracking job status and communicating with clients.

Cons

Engage tends to be clunky and drop calls at times and we have struggled with push notifications for on-job comments.

It has been great. I'm a newer, smaller company, and the amount they offer for the price that I am paying is extremely competitive. Their customer service, easy to use software, and price point have made it easy to run 90% of my company's administrative needs on just their application. I will be using them for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Easy setup. Amazing software for everything from invoicing, customer contact management, bookkeeping, and all organizational features that I need to run my heating and air company. Also haven't had any sort of bugs or anything on the software which I had with other similar applications.

Cons

This isn't a huge deal, but I would like to see more customization options for their forms. That is a big thing to be able to have and use on certain jobs, like estimates or tune-ups, and would be nice to be able to send to the customer as well. I would like to have the ability to have options on certain questions of the form, as well as being able to attach a file or picture to specific form questions. Similar to other software systems that I have used in the past.

Reason for choosing FieldPulse

Pricepoint initially, as well as they were able to offer pretty much all the same stuff as the other applications, aside from a couple minor things.

Fantastic. Field Pulse gives me 90% of the functionality of other competing softwares, at 1/3 of the cost.

Pros

Field Pulse is the lowest cost option in our industry and the simple setup is as quick and simple.

Cons

UI could use some improvement and I’d love more customizable options, like custom fields that could be used in report building.
