"Powerful Ecommerce Email Marketing Without the Klaviyo Price Tag"

**Overall:** Our overall experience with Omnisend has been consistently positive. It’s a tool that’s easy to pick up when we need to build a campaign, adjust a segment, or check on an automation, and nothing feels convoluted. The platform has remained stable and predictable, and the updates they’ve released over time have directly made the product easier and more effective to use. It’s become a straightforward part of our workflow without adding unnecessary complexity.

**Pros:** Omnisend delivers a lot of capability for the price, especially since billing is based on active subscribers only. The email builder is excellent—great templates, plenty of design flexibility, and strong tools for keeping everything on‑brand, including branded link tracking, which is better for both branding and deliverability. We also find its segmentation useful beyond email; syncing those segments into Google and Meta ad audiences helps keep our targeting current without manual exporting or relying on extra tools. Integration with BigCommerce is clean, and the back‑in‑stock automation works reliably at the variant level with clear visibility into requests and recovered sales. Documentation is thorough, support has always been good, and the new AI‑powered help widget is surprisingly effective at answering nuanced questions quickly.

**Cons:** The push notification feature feels too basic for real use because the permission prompt appears immediately when someone visits the site, which can come across as intrusive and not in line with the brand experience we want to create. Without any way to trigger it later in the customer journey, we avoid enabling it. SMS for back‑in‑stock alerts is also limited; while the email version links directly to the specific product a customer requested, the SMS can only send a generic message with no link, which makes it less practical for that workflow.

**Alternatives Considered:** [Klaviyo](https://www.capterra.com/p/156699/Klaviyo/) and [Mailchimp](https://www.capterra.com/p/110228/MailChimp/)

**Reasons for Choosing Omnisend:** We evaluated Klaviyo and Mailchimp, but long‑term platform alignment was a concern. Klaviyo’s deep connection with Shopify made us question whether BigCommerce users might eventually receive less focus, and Mailchimp’s ownership by Intuit raised similar questions as they expand further into commerce. Omnisend offered stronger BigCommerce alignment, more predictable pricing based on active subscribers, and a roadmap that felt directly in line with our platform, making it the clear choice for us.

Really appreciate the depth here, it's clear you've put Omnisend through its paces. We're glad the BigCommerce integration, segmentation sync to ad platforms, and variant-level back-in-stock automation are all pulling their weight for you. Your feedback on push notification timing and SMS limitations is valuable and helps us understand where the experience could be smoother. Thanks for choosing us and for the trust in our roadmap, we're committed to making sure BigCommerce merchants have everything they need to scale. We're here to support your continued success.
